Peaceful was the land she was in currently - the sun warm on her fur as she relaxed in tall grass, birds tweeting above her as they danced in the sky together. The season had ought to be late spring, for the ground felt damp from an eariler shower she must had missed. Ah, how wonderful this young wolf's dreams could turn out to be. Though, it was all cut short by a voice calling her name, telling her that they had an assignment for her. Who could possibly have something for her to do right now?
"What?" she whined bitterly, still half asleep. It wasn't until she opened her eyes the next instant did she regret her tone, for there stood her alpha, Asmund, telling her to get up. Clearing her throat, Catori was about to speak again when Bird, a former loner, asked if she could speak with him. Maybe they could do so outside? The scout snorted quietly to herself as she stretched the sleep from her nimble limbs. Currently, she wasn't her normal happy shy self - the lovely dream she had been having was cut short by the wake up call her Alpha had given - well, was giving - her.
Now fully awake she realized that the two wolves were goin else where to talk, leaving her alone. The only parting words Asmund gave were ones to be up and prepared when he returned. "Yes, sir." She called back feebly, not sure if he had heard her or not. She didn't mind if he didn't, it was just to let him know she was on it. Standing, Catori began to make her way out of her den and into the bright sunlight of the outside. Ugh. She thought, annoyed as she blinked to hopefully adjust her eyes quicker.
