-ZERO-
Zero saw the wolves rise from their slumber and mosey off to do their task of the day. She watched them, one at a time, and felt at peace. All that she wanted was a sense of calm serenity, happiness and plentiful resources. For the time being, she was content. A brown wolf emerged into her peripheral vision as he joined the commotion of the center of the camp. Zero gazed at him -he didn't seem threatening at all, and her head pivoted as he strolled by her. Her body remained motionless, but her senses were constantly spewing information into her brain. The air smelled sweet, like blossoms of a orchid or daisy. A flock of birds flew towards the north east, and it made her wonder. Why do such simple creatures, such as a sparrow, find comfort in flying together? Her daydreams became vivid as she squinted her eyes to see the dark spots in the horizon.
Her eyes moved back to the brown wolf, whom she had never met before. "Why do you think they birds fly like that- Together?" She asked Soot. Her question was vague and her voice was steely and rough.
Zero: Female, young.
Doing: Asking Soot a question, observing.
Emotion: Calm, relaxed, curious, inquisitive.

s u w a n e e . . .
name. my name, you ask? it is suwanee. what kind of name is that you might ask? well, that is kind of a rude question, but i will explain it to you. my name means echo. my mother named me this because I am just that; an echo. i look exactly like my father, every single marking the same. so, i was called echo. well, suwanee, but it's the same thing.
alias. what do i go by? i go by suwanee. anyone who calls me different is showing great disrespect. though my loved ones are allowed to call me echo. the only living relative i have left is ciqala, so he's the only one that call me echo.
gender. um, excuse me, but that question is quite rude. i am obviously a she-wolf.
age. once again, a rude question to ask any female. but, if you must know, i am six years old.
rank. finally, you've come to an important question. i am the lead healer of this pack and i expect to be treated with respect as such. always remember, i am the one dressing your wounds and caring for you when you are sick. you do not want to get on my bad side.
personality. suwanee is a very interesting she-wolf. she is very respectful, but only to those who are also respectful to her. if you do not respect her, she won't respect you. while she can be quite loving and kind, if you get on her bad side it could end up being very dangerous. she does not stand for disrespect and will put anyone who disrespects her or the alpha in their place if he doesn't get to them first. suwanee can and will hurt anyone who shows her disrespect. she was raised as a fighter until she was four years old, so she can be very dangerous if provoked. but if you stay on her good side, she will be kind and sweet to you. this she-wolf has a few secrets. too. one of those secrets is that she is afraid of the water. she will go about two inches into the water, and she will drink of course, but she refuses to go any further in. no one knows about this and she hopes to keep it that way. another secret is that she has killed before. she keeps this fact hidden deep down inside of her and tries to keep her most dangerous side form showing too often.
crush. she has a secret crush on her alpha, marrak. she has kept her eye on him secretly from the day he joined the pack.
mate. she has no mate at the moment, though her eyes have always been for one wolf and one wolf only.
pups. she has no pups and isn't sure she wants them. this indecision comes from her past.
description. suwanee is thirty-eight(38) inches at the shoulder and seventy(70) inches from nose to tail. her fur is thick but semi-short and multicolored. her well-muscled legs are a light tan color that darkens into a dark brown near her shoulders in the front and about half-way up her back legs.her stomach is covered in dark brown fur mixed with just a touch of lighter brown and there is a creamy tan patch on the front of her chest. her body is somewhat slender, but very finely muscled from her years as a fighter, and her long tail goes from the dark brown to deep black at the tip. The fur over her shoulders and head is a mixture of dark brown and black, and her chin and jaws are once tan like her chest and legs. she has smallish ears that are covered in soft black fur and her nose is black as well. she has eyes of a golden amber mixture with dark brown flecks.
history. suwanee was born into this pack six years ago. her mother and father were both fighters and they were wonderful at doing just that. suwanee's litter was their last, and they payed barely any attention to the pups beside feeding them teaching them to be fighters. there were four pups in all. suwanee was the first born, then sasha, tehya, and ciqala. three she-pups and one male. suwanee usually stayed with her brother, ciqala. he was the runt and she was the first born. sasha and tehya would try to play with suwanee, but didn't want to play with ciqala, so suwanee refused to play with them. she treasured her brother, always staying by his side and protecting him from those who picked on him. she also taught him to swim with her, since her parents had begun to show interest in her two sisters and not her and ciqala. when the pups were about six months old, they actually started playing together, all four of them. their favorite place to play was by the river. they would spend hours playing by the river, practicing and play fighting. they did this for a while, but then, one day, they tried to cross the river. they had found a fallen log a little ways down river and were playing around on it, seeing who was the bravest. it was sasha's idea to go all the way across, and she went first. suwanee went second, ciqala third, and tehya last. what they didn't realize was that the log was not sturdy on the shore. when all of them were about half way across, the log bobbed in the current and came loose from the shore. with several yelps and howls, all four pups fell into the river. sasha was hit in the head by the log and killed instantly. tehya was swept down river, as was suwanee and ciqala. ciqala wasn't the greatest swimmer, and suwanee was the best out of the four pups. she grabbed her brother by the scruff, panicking and forgetting about her sister. they hit a sharp rock and ciqala cut his hip badly on the rock's side. suwanee lost her grip of her brother when they hit the rock and howled as loudly as she could. within moments, her parents were swimming after them. her mother caught tahya by the scruff and brought her to shore. suwanee's father tried to grab her, but she wiggled out of the way to save ciqala. when she had her brother by the scruff, she struggled in the fast water. her father once again grabbed for her and this time he got her, getting both her and ciqala to shore. the two pups shivered and huddled together, looking for tehya. suwanee spotted her first, wet and still, with their mother whimpering and nuzzling tehya. tehya's name meant precious, and she had been the favorite to their mother. suwanee approached her mother and the she-wolf had growled, scaring suwanee and ciqala both.
about two years after sasha and tehya died, suwanee officially became a fighter. her brother had taken to a healer's position thanks to the long jagged scar on his right hip and leg he had acquired in the river. the injury had given him a heavy limp, so he could no longer fight or hunt. but he was still a valuable member of the pack, as he memorized every herb he came across. suwanee was a vicious fighter, and she would show off her skills whenever possible. the true moment she showed her full talent was the night her father got sick. he was foaming at the mouth and being very aggressive. the thought of what she had to do almost killed her, but she did it anyway. she rid the pack of the danger, as her job was to do. with each swift dodge she made and each deep bite, she cried in her thoughts. but, this wolf was no longer her father, he was a danger to the pack and he didn't know her anymore. and so, she killed him. near the river where she had almost died and where he had saved her, she killed him. it broke her heart to do so and it also broke her heart that she didn't let anyone know about it. she made it look like he had been attacked by a bear, and she left his body by the river. no one, not even ciqala knows of this. this is what made her choose to become lead healer. it also had to do with the fact that her mother died of starvation because of what suwanee had done. and so, she became lead healer, with her brother a healer alongside her.
c i q a l a . . .
name. the name i was born with was ciqala. it means little one, as i was the runt in my litter. my mother gave us all interesting names.
alias. i go by ciq. the only one who gets to call me by my full name is echo. if anyone else calls me that, i consider it quite disrespectful and will respond as i see fit.
gender. i am brute, if you didn't notice; a male. anyone who says differently is an idiot.
age. i am six years old, just like my sister.
rank. a healer. that is what i am. just like my sister. though if i could be, i would be a fighter. but no, that plan was ruined for me when I was young.
personality. ciqala is usually a quiet brute. he is respectful to those above him in rank, though he can be a smudge bitter at times. he also can be very aggressive if someone insults or disrespects his sister. he may not be allowed the rank of a fighter, but he cans till do brutal damage if he tries. ciq prefers to be alone, though always welcomes his sister to join him. he is strong willed and won't back down if he truly believes in something. also, he is deathly afraid of the water, just like his sister. he won't even put two paws into the water when he drinks.
crush. i have a crush on zero, though i'm not sure if anyone but echo knows about it.
mate. um, no. sadly, i do not have a mate. i also don't think i will be able to get one because of my nasty scar and limp.
pups. i wish i had some. i would do a much better job caring for them then my parents did.
description. ciqala is almost white, but his coat tends to have the slightest tint of grey to it. he stands twenty-nine(29) inches at the shoulder and sixty-one(61) inches from head to tail. he is well muscled, but it doesn't do him much good. His legs are strong and slender, and his fur is a little longer than his sister's. behind his shoulders along his ribs, his coat get a little darker and looks to be a creamy tan and grey color. his ears, paws, and nose are all grey. his back right leg and hip are badly scarred from the river accident that killed two of his sisters. he limps heavily because of the injury.
history. my history is the same as my sister's almost exactly, so there is not much for me to say about my past.

suwanee
she-wolf
six years
lead healer
tagged: marrak
Suwanee lifted her head from her paws at the sound of her alpha's voice. He was yelling again. From the sound of it, he was yelling at Magdelena. With a sigh, the she-wolf heaved herself up and shook out her coat. Suwanee looked around and indeed saw her alpha standing near the omega's den. keeping her eyes on Marrak, Suwanee stretched and yawned. she was hungry, and there was no fresh meat around. Without a second thought, she padded right up to Marrak and sat beside him, keeping her eyes elsewhere. "Marrak, have you sent the hunters out yet? Before long I may just have to go find something to eat myself," she told him, glancing in his direction before going back to observing the other pack members around. She didn't approach Marrak very often, but today was one of the few days that she did. She had had her eye on him for a very long time, and she had kept it hidden well, so she knew no one else knew of her feelings. She was good at hiding things. For some reason today though, she had decided to actually approach her alpha. Usually, she would watch him from afar, silently scolding him for his behavior. ciqala

Ciqala's eyes opened slowly and he watched his sister get up and move over toward the alpha. She going to get herself killed one of these days, he thought silently. But, he would never say anything to her about it. She had been his protector and best friend for all of his life and he knew how much she hated being disrespected. So, he contented himself with simply watching her back when he could, and letting her take care of herself like she had always done. With a yawn, Ciqala pushed himself up to his feet and stretched. It was a somewhat awkward position, but he couldn't help it. His injury caused him plenty of trouble. This was one part of that trouble; he couldn't balance sometimes. But, as always, the brute managed. Eyes leaving his sister, he searched the camp, but found no fresh meat. Hopefully there would be some soon, for his stomach was growling.

the female listened carefully as her alpha addressed her. he mentioned magenta already leaving and lily growled. that hunter never waited for her lead, and would often return with small game. lily figured it was just to spite her and make her look bad. in fact, she was sure of it. "malba!" she commanded, not even looking to the wolf as she searched for the huntress's scent. "we are going to find that huntress magenta now! then we may hunt." she snarled. not waiting much longer, she padded after magenta, each paw falling in silent time. her step was nearly undetectable, and she was downwind of magenta, it seemed. she flicked an ear back every so often, making sure malba was behind her. however, as her paws carried her closer, she forgot about malba's presence behind her. she already knew what she would say to the disrespectful huntress. the hunters were supposed to clear with lily before they went anywhere.
she finally knew she was getting much closer as the scent grew heavier. she finally spotted the light wolf. "magenta!" she barked the name like an order. she stood, watching magenta with a high head and tail. she only acted this way with her hunters: dominant. only around her alpha did she subdue. she didn't want to offend him, but she did need to abide by his rules. she looked at magenta, snapped out of her reverie. her eyes took on a darker undertone and formed a harsh glare. "you are supposed to clear with me before you leave, especially in mornings and in the afternoon. you may not leave without my permission, as i could need you for hunts. should i ever be assessed by the alpha and you walk off without informing me, serious reprimand will come from somewhere. i established rules as the lead huntress, and i do not form exceptions for self-entitled wolves such as yourself. if you were lead huntress, perhaps you could make your own rules. however, i am lead huntress so you will not cross me. do you understand?" she growled, snarling the words by the end of her small speech. she stepped towards the dove wolf in her speech, challenging her to make a move. her eyes narrowed and her fur bristled as she dug at the female.
please, dear lord, do not take this personally <3
lily used to be so timid, but i wonder what happened to her? <3
please don't get upset at lily. i give you permission to inflict injuries on her
if you so please. just nothing debilitating. <3

she rose up from the darkness of her ivy vine covered cave that she called a den. still not knowing the wolves in this area expect for a few, elle didn't feel so much at home in that territory yet. her den was placed away from camp and where most of the other dens were and she usually remained near the lake or something with complete silence. she watched as the ivy vines settled behind her before leaving for the lake, where she would often meet her friend when she wakes up. her snow white coat floating along as the breeze made her eyes blink and rustle up her fur. the dark brown orbs that she had searched around for a silvery black brute, other words; kristoffrey.
and there he was. the large brute that most called ruthless and cruel was simply sitting at the edge of the river. of course, if they were pups, elle would've ran and pushed him in for amusement and fun, but since they weren't and both were too formal for any of that, she simply strolled over to the male. "it seems that lavender in my den makes me much more relaxed and sleep better. perhaps you could use some in yours, darling." she smiled at him when he glared at her after her calling him "darling". "you know i call everybody 'darling', don't be so absentminded." elle teases, giving him a gentle nudge. "besides, what would you rather have me call you, amère?" she asked, taking her paw and dipping it in the water before taking it out before turning back to the brute.

scenes of finding his mate and mother dead still haunted him through his sleep. though elizabethene knew about his past, kristoffrey never asked her for help with these nightmares that he found sickening and sorrowful. the golden eyed brute searched the horizon, staring at the water of the lake and the mountain behind it as he waited for his only friend to awaken and join him at their meeting spot. after joining the pack, kristoffrey never imagine finding somebody to speak freely with and most of the wolves that did spoke with him found find him cold and quite harsh with the words that he spoke. they would usually leave and never speak to him again, but not elle; this fae was relentless to make an ally of the brute and kristoffrey finally caved in, taking her as a close friend for one in his lifetime.
that silken voice and honeyed tone could only belong to one wolf. "i'll forgive your tardiness, but that only means that you're chasing me breakfast. it seems that we both slept later than we expected to." he grinned, looking over at the petite snow white she wolf. grinning, smiling, smirking; he only did that in the presence of her. it had been a while since he could actually find company pleasant and it felt good to speak with somebody without a cruel manner. "i am not absentminded, and amère? is that another one of your words that your original pack used? when will we travel out of this land so i can meet that family of yours?" he smiled at her, nudging her back. "your twin brother sounds interesting and perhaps i'll hit it off with one of your sisters and become apart of the family." he teased her, a devilish smirk appearing.

» As Soot made his way over to the crowd of wolves gathered around the Alpha he passed by a black fae who looked lost in thought. As he continued strolling on over to the group he was caught by surprise as he heard a rather rough voice, turning around he noticed it was produced by the black female which he had just passed. Changing his direction of course he strolled over to her and sat a few paces from her. He cocked his head thoughtfully and pondered over her question. "I guess they feel safer that way. If things go getting rough in their trip they can rely on each other by traveling all together and helping keep each other safe. At least that's what I think, after all that's what most creatures seek in a group, company and safety." He answered at last, staring up at the birds of which she talked about, his curiosity awakened. He had never really thought about that in any manner and well now that he was being asked about it, the importance of it seemed to grow.

» She sighed heavily, she was getting bored quickly. These wolves weren't getting anything sorted out right now and she still hadn't received a task. She swiped the area around her and didn't catch sight of the Beta, sluggishly she got up and moved closer to where the Alpha and other wolves were at. She thought about speaking out but considering the atmosphere that was around everyone she thought it was wiser to just remain quiet and wait for the things to calm down so she could receive some task.

-ZERO-
Zero watched him with curious eyes and absorbed every word. She loved to hear the opinions and thoughts that reflected her own. The gears in her mind turned as she listened to the crackle of twigs to the south west and imagined a squirrel scurrying across the ground haphazardly. The yelp of a victorious wolf echoed through the camp as it caught the small rodent who had made a lethal mistake, confirming her imagination had been correct. Zero's eyes traveled down to her fur covered toes, which had specks of dirt, pulling strands together like eyelashes. All of this happened within the brown wolf's response, and she nodded slowly. "We are like birds. I think that's beautiful." Zero paused and her tail flickered behind her. Little bugs lazily spun in the around them, and she observed them, with caring eyes. All life was precious to her, however she clearly understood the balance. Wolf chase the deer, the weak die, but the strong continue on the name. She stood and her body moved gracefully, but the bugs parted for her.

Orion kept a grin in as she thought he was the Alpha. "He can be a bit harsh sometimes, but he is a good leader," he replied, trying to not lie about the personality of the lead brute too much but not make him sound too nasty as it could make her be reluctant to go, and right now he assumed it wasn't going too bad. She agreed to go to the camp, even if she was planning some sort of escape trick. If she did, he would have to go and track her down, as he was not coming back empty handed to Marrak. Slowly, he eased the pressure he used to pin her down, and stepped off, but was cautious and tense as he did so, but he tried to hide it so that he looked confident. "The pack is that way," he said, turning to face the direction he was indicating to. He wondered what Marrak would do to her, he hoped it would not be too bad. Even though she was an intruder, he still cared about what happened to her, they were both wolves, even if they did not belong to the same pack. He waited for her to start walking first so that if she planned an escape he would be behind her and it would give him more chances to capture her again. He prayed that she did actually want to go to the Alpha as she had said.

As he gets off I get up, trying to make myself look more relaxed. My fluffy tail hangs beside my legs, but it's not tucked like before. My ears were kind of the same way, not perked up, but not flattened against my head, a little more towards being pinned. After being told where to go I nod in acknowledgement and head in the proper direction, swishing my tail to the sides slightly as I begin walking towards the pack. So he's harsh sometimes, and he is male, but a good leader. I am a bit nervous, and probably should be. I only conceal some of it, because I do want to look weak and shy. If I screw this up there will be no running, not everyone will be as patient as the first wolf I meet.
My pawsteps are light, and I take short strides so I can purposely walk slow. I pay close attention to everything that surrounds me, not just because I feel like I should know just in case, but I actually find the scenery nice and calm. But I haven't really put myself in a nice and calm situation. I lower my eyes to the grass, a pale dark green, frost threatening to form all over it. The tip of my white tail touches a particularly long patch of grass of to my right as I pass it, and I stop swishing my tail and just keep it still. I let out a deep sigh and realize that I can see my own breath, it was that time of year again.

|| > Orion < ||
Male || 3 || White || Lead Fighter
No Crush || No Mate
With: Nameless, Marrak || Doing: Waiting
Orion felt a huge surge of relief wash over him like a wave when she did start walking back to the camp, though he knew he shouldn't feel so secure just yet. He knew from experience that she could turn around and make a run for it at any time, as she was not the first intruder that he had to bring to the Alpha. Some wolves just made a plan to carry on and then bolt, and some wolves just changed their minds on the way there. The fae seemed quite relaxed though, so maybe that was the reason he felt a bit more at ease. As they were walking, he always made sure he was about a footstep behind her, just in case. He noticed that trees were now mostly bare, and that the grass was crunchier than normal too. He guessed the fae noticed too, because she breathed out heavily and looked at the white mist appearing in front and around her mouth. It would be Winter again soon, his birth season, marking he would be exactly three in not a long time. The scene in Fall was really colourful, with lots of reds, browns, yellows and oranges wherever you looked, but it would be replaced with heaps of crystal white snow, sharp icicles, freezing weather and dull skies soon.
He hated Winter, he did not like the atmosphere and he found everything harder than usual. There was not much prey around, most animals hibernated and a lot of it died too. The ground was slippery so it made most things more difficult, fighting, hunting, running, and even just walking around. You had to watch every step to not step onto a frozen stream, and there was not much chance of survival if you did fall into one. Everything was so cold, and for some reason he had a very thin coat for the whole year, no matter the season or weather. You were surrounded by nothing except whites, greys and other boring, depressing colours. Even though all this, a lot of wolves still loved Winter, and he found it quite hard to believe, since he liked nothing about it, maybe apart from the fact he could camouflage easier with his white fur. The Winter also took his siblings' lives, and almost did the same to him.
A few minutes later, they had finally reached the pack, and he paused to look around for the Alpha. As soon as he spotted him, he also realised that he was busy talking to other wolves, and he sighed. Everyone seemed to be too busy talking today. He turned to the fae. "I think we will have to wait for a bit, see that black brute there? That is the Alpha, Marrak," he whispered to her. He hoped they wouldn't attract too much attention, as no one would recognise the fae and it would be hard to get them away.
