Personality: Sparrowfeather is a gentle cat, always caring to the wounded and ill as best as she can. She is also very wise and has a strong connection to StarClan, therefore interpreting their prophecies and signs easily and well. She can trust a stranger easily, which isn't so good. Sparrowfeather is very kind-hearted, feeling sympathy to all her patients. Despite being so caring and gentle, she tends to get strict with apprentices and kits that don't listen to her. She's also rather pessimistic, and thinks of the worst outcome, rather than a good outcome, which makes her try even harder to do what's right.
History: Born on a harsh, snowy night in leaf-bare, Sparrowkit was named in honor of her mother, Sparrowpelt, who died while kitting her and her brother, Ebonkit. Sparrowkit was very shy and rarely got into trouble, usually never straying from the nursery. She began training as a regular warrior's apprentice. Her first battle was with a group of rogues. She was on border patrol with Ebonpaw, who was apprenticed, just as Sparrowpaw had been. They came across a hole, small but fit for a cat on the edge of their territory. The hole was covered in bramble thickets, but the patrol sniffed around it and suddenly rogues came out of it and started attacking. One had its jaws clasped around Ebonpaw's mentor's throat. Furious, Sparrowpaw sunk her teeth into his hind leg and pulled him off, and when the rogue turned to her and snarled, she took advantage of her small size and slid under his belly, raking it then sliding back on all four paws. The rogue fell over, and she stared in horror at her blood stained paws, and the pool of blood the rogue was lying in. She looked at Ebonpaw, who was lying motionless on the forest ground. Her mind whirled with what had just happened. She was so bloody-thirsty in this fight, she hadn't even realized Ebonpaw was crying out for help as she was raking the rogue's belly with her thorn sharp claws. Sparrowpaw became dizzy. "It's all my fault!" she had wailed. She then turned to her mentor, sorrow in her deep forest green eyes. "I'm sorry," she croaked. "But I want to save lives, not destroy them." Then, tail and head drooping, she went back to camp with the rest of the patrol, who was carrying Ebonpaw's body back. She told the leader she would train as the medicine cat's apprentice. Soon after, her father had been killed by a deadly attack of greencough. Memories of her past and Ebonpaw's death had always haunted her since. Sparrowpaw got the name 'Sparrowfeather' after she saved an apprentice who ate death berries. Using her quick thinking, she got some yarrow and fed it to her, making her vomit the deathberries. Her mentor died from a deadly fox attack, making her the full medicine cat of her Clan.
Strengths: Sparrowfeather is obviously great with herbs. She can also climb trees and leap from one tree to another, like a squirrel. She is also a great swimmer.
Weaknesses: Sparrowfeather isn't good at hunting or fighting from training to be a medicine cat nearly all her life. But, every medicine cat gets basic warrior training as apprentices so she does know a few fighting moves, and knows the basic stalking technique, although she doesn't practice it often.
