Personality: Micah has a habit of speaking whatever is on his mind, especially when his friend Nova is concerned. He refuses to be a bystander in a moment that he feels deserves action. He’ll do what is right and deal with the consequences later. Additionally, Micah can be pessimistic. Unless proven otherwise, he generally sees the worst possible scenario in a situation, wanting to strategize before said outcome occurs. Micah has become skeptical of those that get too close. Still, he feels regret over his past self and has mostly done a 180, becoming a mellow and kinder dog. His loyalty is not easily won, but once it is, Micah is very much willing to die for those he cares for.

History: Micah was once the beta of a pack of stray dogs that were formed after the apocalypse. They were a pack who found value in strength and little else. Like the rest of the dogs in his pack, he was raised to fight and die for the alpha, a strong Beaucheron named Titus. Anybody that dared cross him was quickly weeded out. Micah's mother decided she didn't want this life for her son and attempted to flee with him. Unfortunately, Titus had set up a trap near the border, and she was quickly disposed of as a warning to those that would dare leave the territory. Instead of killing the boy as well, Titus decided to raise him as his own. Under his tutelage, Micah quickly rose up the ranks, and became the beta when he was of age.

At first the mountain dog was content to follow orders, but the more he obeyed, the more he began to question the alpha and his rule. This went on until a pack to the north was caught stealing from the territory. In response, the alpha sent Micah and several other dogs to kill any of the northern pack members that dared cross into their borders. The other pack retaliated, and thus began a war. It lasted until the alphas decided to meet, but the two disagreed and the battle resumed in full. Titus wanted victory, and he was fully willing to sacrifice any dog for it. When Micah realized this, his pack was all but gone. The survivors either stayed or fled. Micah left, feeling regret for his blind actions.

He went on, hoping to find a new purpose and possibly a sort of redemption, finding it in his friend Nova along the way. Together, they travelled and travelled until they finally arrived to the amusement park, joining the Western pack.

Personality: Nova is introverted and doesn't tend to speak unless spoken to, but she will happily listen or give advice if asked. She felt like she knew her place in life, but that was shattered the moment she lost her home and family. Nova is a very good problem solver and uses her brain more than her brawn. She isn't an aggressive dog by any means. Her breaking point takes great effort to achieve as she doesn't have a temper.

As such, she seems to have endless patience. It makes her good with pups and dogs who normally rub others the wrong way, or have issues controlling their own tempers. She's an empathetic dog, always trying to take others' points of view into account to come up with the best solution. And when there is no best solution— the one that causes the least amount of damage. She's very much a 'helper' in emergencies, as she learned through experience that optimism and understanding are more productive and useful then panic. Once the danger is over however, she typically lets out all of her repressed feelings and fears in private. She feels she has to play the strong one.

History: Nova had never known a life with humans. She was the third-born of a litter of four, the smallest of them. They resided in a secluded den surrounded by forest, an area where her mother believed her pups would be safe from harm. With no father, Nova's mother struggled to teach her children to survive while providing for them, but she managed. Nova believed her mother did the best she could. One day, her mother left the den to go hunting, and did not come back. The pups waited, and waited, eventually deciding that their mother was gonna, and that it was time to leave.

They stuck together, making a decent life for themselves. They came across few dogs. It was a lonely life, but Nova had her family. Everyone had set roles. Roscoe, the oldest, was a strong fighter and had all the confidence of a leader. Charlie, the second oldest, was eager and impulsive. He made a fine hunter. Nova was the strategiest, intelligent and always caught up in thought. Mollie, the youngest, was the healer.

Life went on like this as the four travelled aimlessly, until they came across a bear in the woods. Charlie, ever the hasty dog, leaped right into action, creating a distraction. It was a fatal mistake. The great beast swiped at him and knocked him over, Nova's older brother rushing in to save him. He told Nova to take Mollie and run. And she did, not looking back as the hulking brown bear took her brothers' lives. The two sisters were traumatized, struggling to pick up the pieces of their shattered lifestyle. One day, Mollie ran away, and Nova was all alone.

Nova wandered seemingly with no purpose for what felt like eternity, meeting a strange Bernese Mountain Dog named Micha. The two quickly became friends and travelled together, eventually joining the Western pack in the amusement park. She swore to become the greatest hunter so she can hopefully bring her family honor. Wherever they are, wherever they're watching her from, Nova swears she'll make them all proud.
