Gender;; Female
Age;; 34 moons
Rank;; Healer
With a pelt consisting of many brown hues, Amberleaf's warm appearance is no less intricate than her personality. She is a shorter she-cat, but her thick fur makes her appear larger. Brown patches are scattered throughout her fur with various tabby markings revealing themselves, faintly in some spots and boldly in others. Her chest fur is white and the end of her tail is black, finishing her points. Her rounded face holds a pair of inviting yellow-green eyes, and they darken the sharpness of the stripes on her forehead and cheeks.ŦłЛÐłЛG Λ GEMSТOЛE
Amberleaf is a kind-hearted she-cat who gains satisfaction in helping others. She is delicate down to her pawsteps and carries herself with grace and happiness radiating from her pelt. She takes time to assist others and nothing pleases her more than seeing another cat smile because of something that she did. She uses words rather than paws, and she doesn't let emotions cloud her brain when making decisions. Amberleaf is brave and can see through the darkest of times, holding most of her trust in StarClan; she would be lost without her ancestors to guide her. She is loyal to her Clan and while it's not her duty, she would fight for them to the death if she ever had to in order to prove her loyalty.ÐłGGłЛG łТ OUТ
Amberleaf's kithood was particularly normal; born to a mother and father of three in a thriving Clan called LightClan, she enjoyed growing up with her two brothers. She always play-fought with them and had thought that she would become a warrior alongside them someday. But she often found herself venturing into the Medicine Cat's den and asking questions about the herbs and treatments, even inquiring about StarClan at times. She admired the Medicine Cat but didn't think that she would be chosen as his apprentice.
When Amberpaw was only 7 moons old, soon after starting her training as a fighter, she suffered an unfortunate accident. After chasing a squirrel up a tree and successfully catching it, she was perched on a weak branch that snapped and broke. Amberpaw fell out of the tree and landed at an odd angle, damaging the nerves on her left side; she could not see through her left eye or hear through her left ear. She was taken to the Medicine Cat's den and was told that she had a very small chance of ever recovering. While she regained most of the strength in her left foreleg, her vision and hearing never returned on the left side. It was deemed that it would be unsafe for Amberpaw to continue training as a warrior, and while not particularly happy about this, Amberpaw realized that everything seemed to align perfectly; this was her destiny! The Medicine Cat hadn't an apprentice for countless moons, so he happily took Amberpaw as his apprentice.
Amberpaw soon learned to love her practice and at 20 moons, Amberpaw became Amberleaf, a name that symbolizes her healing and compassion. Not many cats know of her past; she views it as a weakness and has had no real reason to tell anyone. Her limp is unnoticeable unless pointed out. As the Clan's Medicine Cat, Amberleaf strived to serve her Clan in her unique way and couldn't imagine what her life would have been like had she not become a Medicine Cat. Quite content with her life, Amberleaf thought that her destiny had been finished. She soon found out that this wasn’t the case.
What was it that pulled this delicate she-cat away from LightClan? Perhaps it was the disease that spread like wildfire, or the hostility that everyone seemed to unleash due to the hardships. Amberleaf promised to stand by her Clan no matter what, but they had lost so much life that the Clan disbanded. She cared for and nurtured her Clanmates down to the last second that they called themselves LightClan, and even when they went their own ways she would still let the others know where to find her. Her ex-Clanmates stopped coming around less often and their scent had faded away, taking their own destinies.
Amberleaf traveled very far by herself, exploring new territory and using her supreme medical knowledge to fend for her life and keep safe as she hunted alone. She eventually found a gorge and discovered many other cats there, and while they didn’t live as a Clan they seemed to be content with each other and rarely fought over prey that was more abundant than Amberleaf had ever known. She decided to make this her resting point for a few moons and stopped traveling. She planned to be on her paws within a quarter-moon, but then the dreams started with blazing eyes. Perhaps her destiny wasn’t finished after all...

{ waneclan } •
{ twenty-four moons } •
{ fighter }
ᴺᴬᴹᴱ → "My name is Fire, darling. And you are...?" This fiesty looking feline's name is Fire(flight). It's hard to forget after the first time you meet her. She earned the prefix fire when her mother saw her brighter-than-usual tortoiseshell coat - the ginger patches sparkling in the sun like burning flames, and [will earn the] suffix flight because of her free-spirited personality and her seeming to be on the edge of her toes all the time, almost ready to take flight like some sort of elegant, fiery bird.ᴳᴱᴺᴰᴱᴿ → "I'm a she-cat! Why would you even ask such a thing?" It shouldn't be hard to mistake her as anything else - her swaying hips, lovely face, that feminine build scream female.ᴬᴳᴱ → "Why should I be telling a nosy little thing like you, hm?" Fire has seen twenty-four moons in her day. She's nothing near being 'old' and still has her youth.ᴿᴬᴺᴷ → "I live on my own. I don't really rank as anything..." Loner. She never had much interest in much; though her personality might make her seem ambitious, she isn't when it'll come to ranking. When she joins, she'll be a fighter. ᴾᴱᴿˁᴼᴺᴬᴸᴵᵀʸ → Flirtatious. Kind. Loving. Funny. Strong. Slightly Hot-Headed.
Fire is not afraid to say hello to anyone. She's one of the most sociable cats in the clan. She's loyal and brave when she needs to be but doesn't like boasting about her abilities. She just knows what she's good at, that's all. She's nowhere near proud, for she's a rather caring cat. If anyone needed a friend or just simply someone to talk to, she was there. Fire's a good listener, and though she may not understand what you're going through, she'll always be there to comfort you.
She's got a good sense of humour and likes to take things lightly. She has many good traits about her, but of course, everyone has their faults. When it comes to fighting or training, she tends to get easily impatient since it's what she's good at. Also, if anyone's near to irritating her or someone else, she's not afraid to speak her mind and snap at them. She may not even mean it sometimes, but she can't help it. She knows she should work on that but she's been like that all her life. Mostly her hot-headedness really comes from the annoyance she feels towards cats that cause trouble for no apparent reason.
Fire's a nortorious flirt. It's quite funny, really. She doesn't actually call out to tomcats, but she'll toss over a wink here and there or crack a joke. She likes to tease cats, but never to the point of hurting their feelings. It's her own way of letting them know they're accepted. It's just her own quirky way of showing her affection. Though, besides her taking things so lightly most of the time, if there's something happening, she'll remain serious and respectful as long as she needs to be.
Likes; Racing, Dewy grass under her paws in the mornings, Anyone that can make her laugh, Fighting.
Dislikes; Hunting, Losing a loved one, The taste of squirrel, Waking up early.
Fears; Hurting someone she'd never mean to, Badgers. ᴬᴾᴾᴱᴬᴿᴬᴺᶜᴱ → This she-cat's pelt is hard to miss among the crowds. It is bright and quite lovely. She is a beautiful, tortoiseshell - smushed patches of fiery ginger and a hundred different shades of browns and greys and black. Each small, delicate paw is white, giving them a socked effect. Her lovely face looks kind and bright, and structurally seems completely porportionate. Her nose is pink like everyone else's.
Fire's physique is of average size and shape, but with a slightly stockier build. By no means is she fat, but she has muscular legs and body, that are small in their own body size, but with the addition to her long, fluffy coat gives her a larger appearance which is really only average for a she-cat her age. Her body is made for running. She has a thin, grey-hound resembling body hidden beneath her thick fur that makes her fast and light on her feet. Her long and bushy tail provides her with extra balance, and her small paws give her a lightweight ability to be swift and quick. She has a little of both strengths- she is fairly light on her toes, and has an average amount of power while in battle. She may not be your toughest enemy, but dont under-estimate her.
Fire's bright gaze always seem to sparkle with a strange intensity - an all-knowing, "i-know-your-secret" kind of stare. She has a mysterious twinkle to her eyes, but not a single permanent emotion can ever be pinpointed. Her eyes are a mix of a million colours; blues, greens, greys, a fleck of gold here and there. There isn't really a word to describe the shade. She may seem happy, but her gaze doesn't give anything away. Fire's body really is "go big or go home". Her eyes match her pelt in vividness- with bright, confusing proportions. When she is angry they seem to smolder dangerously, and when she is happy they seem to twinkle and gleam with warmth. Really, Fire's eyes are anything but dull and average. lιgнт eм υp - ғall oυт вoy◁ ◀Writers keep writing what they write
Somewhere another pretty vein just died
I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see
That you’re the antidote to everything except for me, me
A constellation of tears on your lashes
Burn everything you love, then burn the ashes
In the end everything collides
My childhood spat back out the monster that you see
My songs know what you did in the dark
So light 'em up,
Light 'em up,
Light 'em up,
I'm on fire
So light 'em up,
Light 'em up,
Light 'em up,
I'm on fire
ᶜᴿᵁˁᴴ → None ᴹᴬᵀᴱ → "None at the moment but I may like a family... sometime in the future. But not too far from now!" She'd like one. ᴷᴵᵀˁ → None ᴷᴵᴺ → Boulder;; Father;; Deceased; Illness ϰχϰ
Dove;; Mother;; Deceased; Badger Attack ϰχϰ ᴴᴵˁᵀᴼᴿʸ → Fire was an only kit in the litter, and her mother and father were perfectly happy with that. Dove and Boulder - the perfect little sweethearts. She was born to the two parents who were only fifteen moons old when they had their first kit. It was a sunny green-leaf day when she was welcomed into the world by a pair of happy parents. Fire grew up with most of the attention since she didn't have any siblings. When she was born, Dove couldn't resist naming their only daughter 'Fire'. It was bold, but her bright, beautiful and slightly intimidating coat seemed to scream it at her.
Once she was old enough to start to fight, she wanted to show her father all his moves. Boulder was always impressed by her fighting skills but Dove was afraid she would get hurt because she was such a fierce, young she-cat. Being the gentle, timid mother she was, Dove never stopped worrying. That never stopped Fire. She practised fighting everyday and soon became a highly skilled fighter.
Then a couple moons later, her father had passed away after a brutal hit of something along the lines of greencough. He left Dove heartbroken and shaken. Fire took care of her mother for the next couple of moons since she took her mate's death so hard. Then later in the year, they started picking up scent trails leading to badger dens so Dove went to check it out just to be safe. That was the last time Fire heard from her mother because when she finally decided to go after her after a few hours, she had been killed after defending their meager, marked territory from a badger. Fire, angry and full of mourning after her sweet mother's brutal death, took off the morning after to track down the beast.
The young tortoiseshell found it in only an hour or so and was pleased to see that her mother had injured it badly before it returned the blows. She took on the badger all alone, almost tiring herself out completely by the time it started to back away. But something in the bushes had startled it and the beast charged at her. Caught off guard, Fire hadn't been able to move away from it when it hit her and so injured her shoulder in doing so. Nonetheless, fueled with revenge and adreneline, she managed to deliver the killing blow and limped back home, satistfied and hoping her mother had been watching her up in the clouds with her father. She was known as the cat who'd killed a badger all by herself from that day forward. No one bothered her and some other loners even respected her. Some random bands of rogues tried to entice her to join them but she declined every time. She never stirred up trouble. Being a loner was simple: don't stick your nose in other cats' business as long as you'd like to keep it and defend yourself and your family when needed.
Over the moons, it was obvious some toms found her attractive and admired her but she never paid them any real attention. Maybe one flirtation here or there but nothing real. It was all an image she'd created. Fire just wanted someone for her that wouldn't want her because of looks or that confident image she'd built for herself. Just her. Yeah, it was cheesy, but it was true. After a while she started to hate the way anyone looked at her but she never said a word. Now she waits for that special someone in silence.
Over the past couple of days, Fire's been having horrible nightmares. Well, she thinks they are, at least. It's always the same and always scares her but for some reason, she can't help but want to know what everything's about. Was she the only cat having these dreams? She didn't know, but she had a feeling if it were telling her to go meet others during the Solstice, then they had it too. She can't stop thinking about it and the voices whispering in her ears every night... The doom of our time draws near. Our future rests in the paws of the Six. The young one. The cold one. The fighter. The healer. The survivor. The faithful. And the one with the blazing eyes. Unite at Great Rock at Winter's Solstice, and then our fate will be decided. *With blazing eyes*
