Lacey Grinned, dogs were predators, if she were to lunge at the horse, the mares instinct would take over anything she had in mind and she'd turn and bolt. So with that the dog growled aggressively then lunged towards her, barking and growling, she was the smartest breed in the world, and she learnt well and was a genius, she snapped softly scooting towards the mare weaving under her belly and beside her front legs nipping towards her legs but not getting her legs before returning to the gate growling warning the mare, before moving into a stalking position which would likely scare the mare more into running.

Kathrine didn't look around much as she walked down the hallway through the stables, still carrying Scout's saddle. She glanced around, but that was about it. At least it was. She felt eyes following her, felt them staring into her. She wasn't sure who it was or why, but she did when she glanced around. As soon as she did, she meant a pair of eyes she knew well. A pair she'd hoped to not see anytime soon. Immediately, Kathrine's eyes darkened into a glare. Blake Jaxson.

Last time she had seen him, she'd punched his girlfriend in the face for calling Scout some bad names. She remembered how he'd yelled at her for hitting her as Kathrine and Scout walked away. And now, she would continue to ignore him. She wouldn't waste her time on his childish antics. She turned her gaze away, looking ahead once more and kept walking, not saying a word.

Just as his master had seen Blake, Scout caught sight of Zamora a few stalls down and across the aisle. Immediately, his ears slicked back and he glared at the mare, "Long time, no see, Zamora. I didn't expect that they would let a mare like you even into these stables." He snorted, pawing the dirt as he shook his ears. Okami sat quietly, watching Kathrine as his equine friend shouted out insults.

Super Nova frozen in her tracks when she heard the abrupt sound of a horse(Junior) letting out an excruciatingly loud whinny. She let out a soft snort, scanning the feilds of the ranch, spotting the equine that made the sound. It was a stallion in the feild below, prancing around, nose to the air, most likely looking for mares. She had no intention of mating, though the stallion intrigued her, so she let out a whinny in reply. She made no move to disclose her hiding spot right now, she simply kept watching him. It made her wonder why all those other equines spent so much time with those horrid creatures they called humans. Intelligent two leggers, that's all they were. She snorted, lowering her head, munching on the green grass underneath her hooves, before looking back up, watching the movement from the ranch below, waiting for a response from the stallion.

JUNE

"I'm going to head home now, get some rest for tomorrow." June took Brantley's hand and allowed him to help her up. Wrapping her niece up in her arms, she kissed her cheek over and over, her stomach mostly getting in the way. As June pulled back, she signed to her niece. "Watch the horses for me. Text in case you need anything." Brantley wouldn't have a clue what they were talking about, but June didn't make it a priority to fill him in on everything. This was between the girls. Feeling his eyes burn on her, June turned towards Brantley and brushed some hay off his shoulder. "Go get that poor dog off the leash. If you were a canine, I'm sure you'd be chasing ducks left and right." Fixing her shirt, June shuffled back towards the barn, needing to get her personal things before she left.

BRANTLEY

Brantley muttered under his breath and stalked back towards the dog. As he rounded the barn corner, he spotted the mutt, laying on the ground and panting. He guesses the rottie got tired of fighting the chain and finally accepted that he wasn't getting off of it soon. With a whistle, Brantley got his attention quickly. Squatting down, he let the dog barrel towards him and knock him down. Braving the slobbery kisses, Brantley got the chain free of the collar and allowed Ronan to run free.
Standing normally and clipping the tool belt back around his waist, Brantley watched Ronan run around him and off towards the pasture, only to head back his way with a doggie smile on his face. Shaking his head and chuckling, Brantley walked away to find other things to fix.

MILLER

Miller found himself wandering around the front of the barn, the young Colt brave for his age. He grew up with Brantley being his surrogate mother, and some of that tough guy attitude must have brushed off on him. Picking at the dollar weeds around the fence posts, Miller was pretty preoccupied. He looked up every now and then at distant noises but paid no attention.

"Yeah, run away. Like you do for all of your problems" Blake scoffs. After slowly turning his head back forward his phone decides to ring. "Hello?" he answers angrily. "Are you with that dang horse again?" his father screams. Blake immediately hangs up shoving his phone back in his pocket before kicking his boots against the ground. Feeling eyes on him he turns to the only other person there. "What are you staring at?" he say with a low growl.

Zamora flinched back before standing her ground. "Oh that hurts so much!" she sarcastically snaps back with out even batting an eye. With that said she returned her attention to a now the sound of Blake's phone. By the way he looked when he was listen she already knew it had to be his father. That's the only person that he would make that face at other then the girl that was still in the hall with him. And that would be stupid to be talking to her when she is standing only a few feet away.

Her riding boots almost made an audible squeak as Kathrine halted at the sound of his voice. Her blood began to boil so hot she had to grip the sides of Scout's saddle to keep from exploding. She turned, ready to voice her opinion of him as well and that's when he answered his phone. She saw his expression change and saw his frustration. So when he asked, she couldn't help but answer, "Obviously at someone who's got too many issues to even hang up a phone correctly. Then again, I should have known better than to overestimate you." She turned away once more, moving towards Scout's stall again. She reached his stall, putting his saddle and blankets on the door before entering it.

She saw him pinning his ears at Blake and Zamora and she patted his side, thanking him as she began saddling him.

"Of course it would being you're such a weak mare!" The painted stallion whinnied angrily, snorting at the timid mare. As Kathrine came up to his stall, he pinned his ears at the two enemies of theirs. An enemy of Kathrine's was an enemy of Scout's.
