Watching as bird quickly pulled away, sybaris could feel hos content. he found it rather amusing that all he needed to do was bat his eyes, give her a compliment, and the healer was out of it. he supposed he could use such to his advantage.

watching last minute as bird seemed to jump, the beta looked up and watched as a crow took flight, cawing excessively. an amused smirk crossed his lips and he looked to bird. "you'd think with a name such as bird, you wouldn't be frightened by such things." he chuckled as he caught up to her, brushing his tail under her chin as he quickly took up the lead. in a steady trot he made it to the border and, not thinking twice about it, leapt into the stream. though he had gone to the shallow end, which hardly made it past his knee caps, he was quick to soak himself in the current. lifting his head as water dribbled from his chin and glossened his fur, sybaris flashed bird a cheeky grin.

Ezekiel,stopped in his tracks, forcing Sasha to stop hard. She watched as he circled her, following him with her head. She tried to appear strong and confident, but in reality she was cold and hungry. She grinned as he flirted with her, but kept her silence, and followed him to the alpha. Asmund was waiting for them when they entered the clearing. The strong wolf was angry, Sasha could tell by the intensity of his glare. She winced as he reprimanded Ezekiel, hoping that he wouldn't also turn harsh words upon her. Instead he was stern and dominating as he addressed her, clearly looking the young female over. She cleared her throat nervously, then glanced at Ezekiel.
"Sire, I am Sasha, of WoodHallow Pack. I come alone, seeking aide and membership in your pack. I hope to be able to prove my strengths to you, Master Asmund." With that she bowed her head and tail, Showing her submissiveness while trying to not seem week. Her stomach betrayed her: it let out another loud rumble, this time accompanied by a sharp pain in her stomach. She winced and flattened her ears. "Sorry sir, I haven't eaten in days." Hopefully he wouldn't turn her away just for being hungry. She was a healthy and fit wolf in all other aspects, and her winter coat completely covered the scars that ran down her body.
A shadowy form appeared beside her and Sasha slitted her eyes, glancing at Sheiko on her right. "Go away." She muttered. She didn't care about her sisters omens right now. She had already refused the Quarantine pack because of Sheikos warning, but she didn't see any danger here. All the wolves seemed friendly, if a little intimidating. Ezekiel seemed like one she could trust, one that wouldn't hurt her. Sasha raised her head and looked at the Alpha. "Sire, may we hunt so I can prove my worth?"

The young prince grumbled about the alpha's decision to himself for a moment then looked at Sasha with his Ice blue hues. "C'mon, I'll show you where the cache is so you can eat." He said gently but warmly. Then he began trotting in the direction of the food cache. "I know Asmund is a bit of a stiff but the other wolves aren't nearly as bad. You'll like it with us." He assured her. As the neared the entrance to the stash of food he looked back over his shoulder, "Well this is it. Dig in!" He himself picked up the spare rabbit in the corner and started eating after laying down. "You know-," He began, swallowing bit a rabbit before continuing, "You seem easily distracted, always looking around when talking to others." It was merely an observation he made to keep any awkward silences from happening.

The stern looking Alpha looked at the newcomer silently as if he was pondering whether or not to let her stay, even though his decision was already made. He spoke after a moment of suspenseful silence. "Sasha, I grant you permission to stay as a member of my pack. The rules are simple here; Don't fight with others, and don't leave the clearing without my consent. Everything else will become clear soon enough. If you have questions in regards to the rules, ask the rest of the pack before bothering me." The strong, healthy leader stood and was about to leave when the fae asked a question of him. "No. In order to leave you must have a partner, and in order to hunt large game you must have 3 wolves total. Ezekiel is not supposed to leave the clearing and I have already sent out a hunting party today. There's no need to send out another party, it's a completely unneccesary risk. However we should have a leg of deer in the food cache that you are welcome to have if you're hungry." With that said, he turned to look at Ezekiel and said, "You, and Mikhail, are not to leave the clearing for anything but a drink of water when needed, and when that time comes you will be escorted by me. Understand?" The alpha turned and began back towards his den without another word to either of the wolves.

The fae bristled, giving the much bigger brute a sharp glare. "It spooked me, that's all!" She retorted, flashing him an icy glare. Ignoring his flirty smile she padded gently into the water, shivering as the cool waves lapped at her fur. The Healer, who currently looked like an otter, took a deep breath and plunged beneath the surface. She didn't dare open her eyes as she pawed at the water. Finally, the cold was too much. Gasping she rose to the surface again. The current began pulling her down the stream, she struggled to get to the bank. Her struggling proved worthy and her paws struck ground. The Herbalist panted as she leapt onto the sandy surface. Shaking her pelt she realized the coolness of the water was no match to how she felt now. Sitting delicately on a flat rock she began to lick her flank, feverishly trying to dry it.

Sasha sighed in relief as the Alpha accepted her into the pack. She smiled as he mentioned the food cache, and her mouth watered as she thought of the deer leg waiting for her. "Don't fight, and don't leave without permission. Got it." She turned to Ezekial, who was already heading towards the food cache. She could smell the meat in the small den, and quickly jumped on the deer haunch near the top of the pile. Ezekiel was gnawing on a rabbit, staring at her thoughtfully. She was eating as fast as her jaws could rip the meat off, holding the leg bone down between her paws. "you know, you seem easily distracted,always looking around when talking to others...."
Sasha choked on a piece of meat, swallowing hard to try and get it down. She looked at Ezekiel in the eye, attempting to seem unconcerned. "Do I? I'm sorry, I didn't notice. I do tend to get easily distracted."
dummy. So stupid. You thought they wouldn't notic? You need to be more careful! she berated herself. Yet again she wished her sisters ghost wouldn't appear at such inappropriate times. She turned back to the haunch, trying to fill more of her stomach with the delicious meat.
