(She's going to need some nudging to go. XD And terribly sorry about my inactivity. *Points to sig* Also, I might end up tweaking her personality a bit; it often happens that I write something in my form but end up rping my chars differently once I start writing about them.)
Spottedbird (bird)
Spotted skidded to a halt in the grass whe she saw the body of a cat in front of her, but the muddy bank caused her to slip and she fell onto the body. She yowled and leaped up, her face and paws now covered in the dead cat's blood. She spun around and ran the direction she came from, but her paws simply slided over the now-bloodied grass and she fell again. Spotted felt a pain in her shoulder as her left paw was twisted backwards. The sky rapidly began to darken. She twisted her neck to look behind her as an even darker shadow fell over her, her eyes wide an pupils dilated with fear, though she already knew who it was. The dark shape of a cat towered over her, and Spotted couldn't help but let out a short scream of terror before the cat spoke. She attempted curling up on the bloody earth and somehow tried to cover her ears, but the dark cat's voice still boomed straight into her cowering form.
"Seven cats will come. The young one. The cold one. The fighter. The healer. The survivor. The faithful. And the one with blazing eyes...you were chosen to accompany them, Spottedbird. The figure leaned in and hissed quietly; "Destiny is not something you can escape..." The words seared into Spotted's brain and the seven cats flashed through her mind, but she managed to stand and attempt to run away again. The cat's wailing, screeching yowl followed her, no matter how hard Spotted tried to block it out.
"You must and you will go to the valley and meet with the other cats, or all cats that live here will be doomed..." And then his voice faded as the nightmare ebbed.
Spotted woke with a start. She found her fur matted and her claws extended, digging into the earth. After a few moments of staring straigt ahead, recollecting the terrifying dream, she shook her head to clear it and began to clean her fur with brisk swipes of her tongue to get rid of the moss that clung to it. But as she heaved herself up out of her nest of carelessly gathered moss and leaves, Spotted felt a pain in her shoulder. She twisted her head around to inspect it and gave the dislocated shoulder a few quick licks, but there was hardly much else she could do. Spotted forced herself to ignore the pain, though she favored her left paw as she walked. Why was it that an injury she had recieved in the dream followed her into the waking world? She sighed heavily, the breeze slightly stirring her whiskers, then decided to try and catch something to eat. She hobbled through the forest, trying to stay quiet, but all she found was a blackbird, which Spotted somehow managed to sneak up on despite her injured paw and and dispatch it with a skillful swipe of her claws. The bird looked quite young and inexperienced, and she felt almost sorry for the short life it had, but she knew it was prey and meant to be eaten, so Spotted thanked it for its life and ate. She crouched down and ate it ravenously, though as hard as she tried, she couldn't get the mysterious cat's words out of her head.
Destiny is not something you can escape...
Spotted flicked an ear idly and sat up as she finished eating. She had been travelling away from the valley where the mysterious cat had instructed her to go to. She didn't want to meet up with some other cats to "fullfill her destiny." She began to groom herself, licking her slightly ruffled, soft white chest fur. Spotted gave her damaged shoulder a few more quick licks before heaving herself up painfully and continuing her trek, padding South at a steady pace. After today it will all be over, she told herself, letting out a quiet sigh. And then you can go back and continue on with your life.

Amberleaf
{ Loner | Female | 32 moons }

Amberleaf's eyes lay calmly on Fire, and she smiled. "I know, Fire, it really is a lot. It's so much to grasp your mind around, especially since you have never known of such ideas. Perhaps we won't even have to do anything after this meeting." She placed her tail over Fire's shoulders to offer some form of comfort, then a few heartbeats later she stood squarely on her paws. "Well, we can't wander aimlessly forever! Perhaps we should head that way. And maybe we'll find some other cats along the way who have an idea of what's going on," she added, hoping to give some reassurance to Fire that neither of them were crazy and that everything would be alright for the time being. But at that moment, Amberleaf realized that she didn't even know what direction they were headed in. "Do you know where this gathering area is? I'm not familiar with the territory," she admitted, her last sentence becoming only a whisper among the forestry around them. "I was only a passerby here and never really explored much." I don't even know where I was planning to go next, she added in her head, wanting to share her story but contemplating it all the more. That's my personal problem that I can figure out in my own time. As much as she hated to admit it, Amberleaf dearly missed her old home and her old life, simply spending her days gathering herbs and helping the injured and befriending all of the cats in her Clan. Now she was cast into unknown lands, put up against wild felines with such cunning ferocity that their behavior seemed rabid and unknown, out here with her past life gone forever. "I'm not used to this," she finally said, hanging her head. "I haven't any idea how to approach a cat out here."

Fire looked up at Amberleaf, gratitude shining in her glimmering eyes. She let out a pained breath, as if she'd been holding it for a while. When she heard Amberleaf tell her how different things were for herself, curiousity flared in Fire's smart little brain. Just where did her companion even come from? Never mind that; if Amberleaf wanted to tell her, then she could. But Fire wouldn't ask since it wasn't her place.

Instead, the fiery tortoiseshell smiled warmly, nosing Amberleaf's neck kindly as she tried to make eye-contact. "Hey," she cooed. "It's ok. It's really not that bad around here. Really!" Now it was her turn to comfort the other she-cat. "Just follow my lead and you'll be fine. No one dares in giving me trouble around these parts of the woods," she meowed, standing a bit taller, winking at Amberleaf. She started to head in the direction of the place she was certain was set in her dream. She'd been there before. "We've got to head north. It's not a long journey, I guess. I think we're closer than others, but we'd better get moving if we want to make it in time." Fire paused beside a tree root jutting up from the earth, waiting for Amberleaf. She flicked her tail and bunched up her strong muscles before leaping over the root and landing quite gracefully with a soft thud on the other side. "Come on, Amberleaf!"

(*runs tearing onto thread*
OH MY GOODNESS, SO SORRY FOR NOT BEING ON FOR SO LONG. OH FREAK. Blame schoolwork.
Well, I'm back. :3 time for me to post. And yes, it's okay with me for them to run into each other. XD

NOTE TO EVERY ROLEPLAYER: The sun is travelling swiftly across the sky. Sunhigh has come and passed. Evening is making its way over the land. Right now, it is early twilight. Cats should be hurrying on to the Great Rock.)

Sparrow (can't be fancy)

Sparrow looked at Gray strangely, noticing the she-cat seemed very reluctant to step over her boundary lines to her territory. "It's only a scent marker," he started to mew, but Gray had already bounded away. Sparrow trotted rapidly after her.

The next few hours passed by with a startling quickness; few words were exchanged between him and his companion. Soon the young cat's paws were sore and he could barely drag himself after the untiring Gray, but he had no intent to appear weak in front of her, and so he persisted.
Nighttime had already began to darken thr river's light when unfamiliar scents began to wft through the air. Sparrow felt his hackles rise. He had rarely ever been so deep in th gorge before, and this was unfamiliar territory to him.

Through the new smells barraging against his muzzle, he smelt a far more comforting, familiar, satsisfying scent. Squirrel! He immediately located the small creature, nuzzling in the bushes, and tore off after it, hardly caring for stealth. He was starving and his share of the sparrow earlier in the day hadn't satisfied him for long.
He nearly had it, just about to hook his claws into it's fluffy tail... when he crashed into something. A very furry something that sent him flying backwards a few tail-lengths.

He spat out a mouthful of fur and unsheathed his claws. Two unfamiliar cats were there.

Before Fire could take one more step, she froze, her facial expression nothing but confused and suspicious. Was someone near her? She could make out a cat's scent but... Wham. The she-cat was smashed aside and she let out a startled yowl, tumbling backwards and landing on her side. She shook her head and leaped to her paws, snarling. Her multicoloured eyes flashed with rage. "Hey, you watch it!" she snapped, hackles raising. She wondered if this tomcat even knew who she was. She hadn't seen him before. Most who knew her knew it was unwise to pick any sort of fight with Fire.

The bright tortoiseshell moved in front of Amberleaf protectively, still snarling. "Who are you?" she growled, not liking the way he acted in her presence. Her own claws were unsheathed now and she look absolutely frightening. It was only her natural response to react badly when a stranger had just smashed into her, quite painfully at that. "Well?" she demanded, feathery tail lashing.

    Grey carried on tirelessly. They were growing close to their destination and her paws were itching to just arrive and speak to the other prophecy cats. Pausing to taste the air, she detected the scent of squirrel just as her young companion raced of after it. "Oi! Sparrow, get back here!" He was not going to catch a squirrel with a technique like that. Growling in frustration, she bounded after the brown tabby, and managed to locate the scent of two she-cats, one already known to her and the other not. Slowing her pace, she slipped from the bushes and moved to stand beside Sparrow, warning him with a flick of her tail to stay back. He would be no use to her if it came to a fight. She recognised the tortoiseshell in front of her, but the tabby was unfamiliar. A newcomer? "Fire." She greeted coldly, giving the smallest dip of her head. This far from her territory, it was Fire who was in charge. But they had met previously and not parted on the best of terms. So while Grey was feared and her reputation preceded her and they had not met anyone just yet, Fire was a fierce opponent. Inside, Grey was sure she could beat her, and this confidence radiated from her in waves. Her entire posture was confident as she stood tall, although her neck fur bristled slightly.

Fire picked up the scent of another cat. A she-cat? But... this one seemed vaguely familiar. She recognized the face once it appeared, though. Her eyes widened for a moment, but then she lowered her head dangerously, not moving away from her place before Amberleaf. "Grey," she retorted, snarling still. Her body language screamed pure aggression. Grey was literally the only cat she thought as her worthy oponent in the woods. They hadn't seen each other in quite some time, and Fire was glad of that. The last time they'd parted ways, Fire had an injured shoulder blade. Just the thought of that got the tortoiseshell angry all over again.

"This is getting ridiculous. I stay away from your parts, why can't you stay away from mine?" she meowed. She had done nothing wrong and she knew Grey was tresspassing. Grey lived in her own territory and Fire wasn't some mangy rogue - she knew where to go and where not to go. She just thought Grey knew that as well. Fire was in no mood for fighting and she knew it wasn't always the best answer but if she had to defend Amberleaf, let alone herself, she would. "What are you and you're..." She sized up the tom. He was a lot younger than her and somewhat smaller in size. He wasn't a threat to her. "...friend doing here?" she hissed cooly. "And no funny stories."

{ Really sorry I haven't been more active (well active at all really), I've been loaded with work from school and then activities outside of school. I think I will be able to post more now though, I think I will have a little break time before homework to post }

Pale-eyes

A slight hiss escaped the she-cats ajar jaws as her paw jerked off the ground, turning pad side up to give the she-cat the means to pull out a small thorn lodged between two of her toes, a delicate spot for any cat. Her lips pulled back in distaste as she spat out the small prickle. This seemed a sign that she shouldn't even bother trekking to thr strange place within her dreams. At least that's what she wanted to take it as. A long journey to some Great Rock, that might not even exist.

After a quick cleaning of her paw, Pale was off again, moving at a swift trot. It was taking her longer than she had first thought to get to the Great Rock, mainly because of the various stops she had made to dislodge something from her paw, stache away a couple of mice she hadn't been able to resist catching, and of course one stop to get a drink from a stagnant puddle that she probably would've been better off just ignoring. Because of this she felt a need to hurry herself. She wanted to be the first cat there, that was if any of the cats in her dreams were going to be there. She hadn't a clue who any of these prophecy cats were, besides herself. She'd been informed quite clearly that she was one of the chosen. This had been a big shock to herself and the she-cat really just ignored the fact, pretended that really this weird dream cat was confused and had come to her by mistake. That really, when she reached this so called Great Rock she'd feel stupid for even thinking that the dreams had been real. Her tail wavered above her back in slight uncertainty but her pawsteps didn't falter.

No matter what, whether she was right or wrong, she was still going to investigate.

Amberleaf
{ Loner | Female | 32 moons }

The brown-pelted figure of Amberleaf grew large as her fur stood on end. It was all too quickly that she and Fire went from a peaceful walk towards their destination to a hostile encounter with another cat. Maybe they're part of the prophecy, too!, she thought to herself. It seemed that Fire and the new she-cat - Grey, she had spat - were not on friendly terms. Amberleaf couldn't help but feel surprised when Fire had jumped in front of her protectively, perhaps because it had been so long since another cat had done anything for her like that.

Unsure of what to say, she let her gaze hover over the two newcomers as she kept her muscles bunched and ready to fight if one of the cats had posed as a threat. Seeing Fire's rising aggression, Amberleaf decided to make an attempt to calm her down. "Fire, they could be part of this too," she reminded her in a hushed tone, her paws itching with worry. The last thing that Amberleaf wanted to do was to fight; it was a complete turn-around to her previous life that she had left behind so many moons ago.
