- xxxxxzack woke up in his den, curled by addilyn. zack had become accustomed to waking up soon before the sun rises, which is somewhat earlier than most of his packmates. of course, there are few who wake up before him or quickly after. as the male arose from addilyn's side, he had to admit that it was a little colder without her warmth near him, but that thought was dismissed quickly. last night it had rained lightly, so the scents of the earth were quite apparent. as he walked out of the cave somewhat near the top to the ledge was loomed over the camp slightly. there was a rocky pathway that led down to the lieutenants' den, then the healers, and then the rest of the hunters and the warriors and even the starlets. it was occasionally unstable, but it never bothered him. however, he couldn't say the same for some of his packmates. zack had never been incredibly social and involved with his packmates' lives, mostly because he couldn't care less. why should he give a damn what those fools gossip about next? it could be about a romance or a fight. the brute couldn't care less.
xxxxxa calming and soft breeze ruffled his dark colored fur, while his bi-colored eyes scanned the camp. the leaves were damp, and still had some droplets of water on them, and the river flowed, sending a calming rush of sound and waves hitting the rocks that led to the forest. he sat down, going deep into thought. by the looks of it, the next full moon would be in two days, and no one has come up to him to ask to challenge one of his lieutenants. zack honestly hoped someone would, mainly because it gives a nice thrill to the classic howling at the moon and festivities. it had been a while since a lieutenant challenged zack, and that wolf really pissed him off. that wolf was disrespectful and immature, and this was himself saying it, as the male was also somewhat immature and impatient. of course, challenges only end by surrender or losing consciousness, and if you held back then you're damaging your pride. so, zack didn't. in result of the challenge, the challenger was badly injured and was left with a limp on his back left leg, which scared many possible challengers. zack couldn't help but give a small smirk at the thought of beating that wolf to a pulp. he didn't care if others thought his ways were violent and cruel. his own semblance was even worse. the way zack viewed it, he was being pretty merciful to his packmates during challenges. he rarely used his semblance in general.
xxxxxstarting to get a little bored, and honestly a little cold so high up in the early morning, zack heaved his body down. really he didn't want to do anything at the moment. though the idea of doing some hunting pleased him. a way to get out his bloodlust in the morning was hunting, which did give him quite a thrill, but it was never as satisfying as tearing up another wolf. some speculated that he would soon betray the pack, so go on a violent rampage and destroy everything. the idea itself wasn't bad, but zack had morals. no lies and no killing or badly harming something useful; his pack was useful. they hunted and followed his rule, whether it be respect or fear. either worked really. it was also sort of nice to have so many wolves serve under him and do his bidding. as zack was at the bottom of the slope, he went into a run. using this speed and his strength, he made a large leap over the river, landing fairly quietly considering his size. as zack ran into the dark forest, light beginning to shine through beneath the tree. there was a chance that a rabbit or something small had scurried out. of course, finding something like a deer or elk would be even better, but zack wasn't dumb enough to try on his own. deer usually went in small groups, and their antlers hurt like hell, and he wasn't keen on getting bruises. of course, he could probably take five males down if he used his semblance, but then there would be nothing left to eat. the most likely possibility was that zack would tear them apart, and he was not one to be wasteful.
xxxxxthe large male skidded to a halt as he realized that a scent of a rabbit or some small prey had come up to him. zack was somewhat far away from their home, but the territory still went on for quick a while. zack turned around as he soon found out that he had passed where the scent was strongest and began to follow it, walking as silently as possible. his paw-step by paw-step, and keeping his ears and eyes alert he followed the trail. zack kept this up for about ten minutes when he realized that it was possible the rabbit had burrowed back down into a hole, safe from zack's clutches. "damn it!" zack snarled in anger, wanting to do something to get his use all of his energy; specifically with blood. a bit cruel? yes. monster? possibly. his packmates sometimes called him that, for his violent tendencies, but zack found joy out of it. as long as he didn't hurt one of his packmates, why should they care? letting out another growl, he decided to head back. if he wanted to get a good run and hunt, then he would need more than just himself. going back into a run, he let himself not worry about the sound of his paws thump against the dirt, softened by the rainfall a few hours ago.

xxxxx"hey losers!" pyrrha barked loudly as she climbed up the slope to get to the healer's den. "i'm here again! i'd appreciate it if you could give me stuff for my headache!" she continued, being just a loud as before. so what she was being disruptive? pyhhra had no patience for the slow. she came to the healer's den almost every morning, so if they weren't ready for her arrival then they were even more useless than she thought. pyrrha flicked her tail and wrapped it around her back left leg, hiding the snake-like patch of white fur. despite most knowing and wondering about it, pyrhha knew what it was, and she didn't like to show it off. however the leo zodiac in a russet color on her chest she was fine with. after all, leo's were strong and proud.
