Keep posts at least a paragraph long.

-Nobody wants to read one-liners. I am pretty soft on this rule though, because I know it can be a drag posting sometimes. Just as long as you post with a fair amount of detail and give the other player's alot to play with- you can do a quick three-liner if you really need to.

Don't disappear for weeks on end while in the middle of a scene.

-Don't you just hate it when your in a really deep scene, where maybe a character is dying, and the main character vanishes for weeks? It's what kills roleplays... Obviously if you have an excuse it's fine! Real life comes first, but don't take that as an excuse to RP with other groups and leave us in the dark. If you join, you commit...

Characters must have 'imperfections'.

-What I mean by this is: Nobody has gods incarnation of a T-Rex. These animals are starving, desperate, weak- They aren't going to be the best hunter or fighter in all existence during a time of famine.

Keep it as realistic as possible.

-The ashes rains down on the planet like snow, the creatures are going to be affected. Add some hints to the environment every now and then, maybe they contracted Ash-lung (speaks for itself really)? And, drawn to my last point, pitcure yourself in your character's position and ask- would you be able to do that if you hadn't eaten well in months?
-On my part, this is a story that probably never could of happened (especially with the multi-era dinos!)... But it could turn out to be an interesting plot. So play along with it and try not to restrict yourself to the timeline of the Cretaceous we know ^^

Fade to black when necessary.

-We all know what this means... 'Happy Hours', gruesome attacks, or maybe just before a slaughter. If you feel it would be more effective then feel free ^^. Use it appropriately though, I'm lenient with this rule but CS isn't...

Watch your language.

-Star out if you must swear. But it's far more enjoyable to see more creative words used instead... Birdbrains. ^^*

Likes: When the sun gently begins to dip behind the horizon, she would stand from her faction and take the best males for a hunt. Leading the hunt and always taking the best of the kill. In her old faction, the females would outrank the males as there were so few. She would always have a few males that wanted to have her as their mate, and they would do anything for her. She'd lead them on suicide missions the steal food from the Rex's and even bring some down sometimes. She likes being in control, being dominant.

Dislikes: Feonix would always scrap with the other females. She is very picky about who she befriends, and bad experiences have always driven her to preferring the males. She also dislikes being in big groups... It's harder to demand the respect of others that way. Despite never really having a high rank in her faction, she would always act as the alpha female. She has to be listened to... And she hates it when creatures approach her with the 'softly, softly' act. If anything was to tame this wild fea, they'd need to gain her respect- dominate her, and prove they are worthy.

Personality: Feonix is rather bossy... She likes creatures to know that she is incharge- even when she's not. It takes alot to prove they are worthy to her. Even after Starfall, more than ever, she has risen up to become a tyrant ruler with an iron claw. She respects the food rationing rule as it was her own race that first worked it out. She is a fast sprinter, but cannot handle distance running. She is argumentative, and pretty aggressive. Even sometimes without good cause. But she usually means for the best, and tries to make her faction's lives easier.

History: As a chick she was bullied by her clutch sisters. Her brothers sometimes joined in, but would often choose battling each other over picking on their sister... She was the runt, and grew up thinking she was... As soon as she hit maturity she fought back, and beat one of her sisters within an inch of her life and left her for dead on an open prairie. When she got back to the faction she beat one of her brothers to the floor, and instantly proved her worth to the males. As the faction's females slowly turned on her, the male's begun to see her potential, and took her out hunting to train her up. Having years of bottled up aggression she quickly found the bigger the prey, the more relieving it was to attack. Her and her siblings were exiled by the leader as they came of age, and Feonix didn't wander long before teaming up with raptors in the same position. But Feon wasn't scared like these whelps... she was in her element. She took them under her with and the team gathered up more and more raptors. Eventually a hierarchy was established, with Feon as the lead hunter. Only two others females were in the new faction: the omega and the alphess. So Feonix was a prime target for the males... She never accepted them. She got to the age of 13 without even once touching a male- without beating them that is! As the stars began to gather in the sky, she began to feel uneasy, but her faction refused to listen to her. The night before the meteor strike, she left the faction in search of an open area with plenty of cover... As the stars finally plumated the earth, purging her of all life, Feon was already ahead of her faction. As the forest burned, the screams of her people echoed across the lands. Phe narrowly avoided being struck herself, and leapt over the flaming, fallen tree's like as if she were hunting for her life... The earth shook... A huge cloud of blackness began to set toward the valley. Feonix found a cave, shooting to the depths of it's darkness and praying for her life... There were other animals in the depths, luckily for her, no other larger predators. Only a few troodons. She survived Starfall... and only just survived the 3 months of darkness...

Ideal: A fit male of her age or older. He'd need to be larger than her, in height and build. He would need to be an accomplished hunter that could work in bands of small numbers. She couldn't live as the dominant female or she wouldn't see him worthy to be her mate. She also has no interest in settling down... Even after Starfall and the species is on the brink of extinction. He'd need Excellent eyesight, and a keen sense of smell. He'd need to show fear, but when it came down to a fight, he'd stand by her side and fight alongside her.

Bareable: A fit male younger than herself. He'd be shorted than herself, but still pretty dominant. Maybe a failed hunter, he'd still need to follow commands from her during hunts. He'd need to be able to command her respect, other wise she'd use him like she used the other males in her band. If he had lost his mate to Starfall she would probably think twice... She would never accept being second best to another female...

Definite No: A skinny/overweight male too old or too young. One that just wanted to use her. One that had recently just left his mate to go rouge. One that whimpers or whines. One that is frightened of alot of things.

Likes: Living in small groups. Lochi has always been very social within his family group. Rather secluded and mysterious, he was always willing to help those in need. He enjoyed the feeling of making something better. He would often be found basking in the sunlight in the early mornings... Either on a riverbank or on a fallen tree not far from his group's lake. He loves watching the things around him... And often just lay's in the sun observing things... He loves being surrounded by living things. Plants, Insects, Birds and Dinos alike, just the feel of being among them makes him feel at peace...

Dislikes: Pterosaurs. Due to the increase in bird numbers, the pterosaurs were getting ruthless in their tactics- often stealing fish from right under Lochi's claws. He struggles to kill other saurians. If he is starving and blocks out the fact he can indeed do it- he has no trouble with the procedure. But if he hesitates and thinks, What is that creature thinking? What if it has offspring? He cannot find the heart to take a fellow's life. He often scavenges for food, or sticks to what he was evolved for- Fishing.

Personality: As a human would describe- He is a soppy as a Labrador. He becomes attached to pointless things and often protects them- violently. He won't push for a fight, and will often avoid it if he can, but if he is ever forced to attack he is one ruthless killer. His enormous hand claws make deadly slashing knives in a fight. He tends to avoid using his jaws in battle, he knows his bite force is weaken than most other species...

History: As a hatchling, Lochi grew up alongside his mother in the group. The only one of his clutch, he shadowed her for many years, learning the ways of the river. He had a fairly quiet life... Playing with the other whelps in his group, he became good friends with them and fondly called them his 'Brethren'. As they hit maturity Lochi was growing into a skilled fisher, always finding the right spots to scoop himself a prize. He even taught the next year of hatchies some tricks. A young female in his group would often catch his eye... They became close friends over time... Very close. Now his mother had brought off another clutch, he knew his days in her protection was over. Before she could disown him herself, he slowly began to distance himself from her by the day, seeking comfort in Adeila- the female. Not long after he had accepted the fact he was now on his own, A group of sub-adult rex's ravaged the groups camp. The intricate system of streams was destroyed by the creatures heavy, ungracefully footing. The dens were ripped to shreds before they turned on the group... They took Lochi's younger brother and slaughtered him before his and their mother's eyes... The entire group launched in on the rex's, where they had been avoiding contact before. But the rex's were too strong for the sucho's weak, flimsy jaws. So many were killed that day... Including Lochi's mother... The leading male, the deputy, the scouts- all dead. The remaining creatures fled from their home, with only a third of their members. Lochi was devastated... But he sought comfort in fact he had protected Adeila. He had one glimmer of hope left... The splinter group wandered for months... following a lake out towards the sea in search of a new homeland... But the stars began to gather in the skies- and the group thought nothing of it. They finally reached the seashore when the skies began to fall... They stood confused for a while, watching as the streaks of fire fell from the skies into the lands on the other side of the sea. The falling stars began to get closer, and closer to the group, until they finally realised what was happening. Lochi shouted for them to retreat, but he was the only one to run for the water... He didn't realise until it was far too late. He surfaced, but they were long gone, and the wall of black smoke was hurtling towards him. He took one final breath before submerging.

From the depths, he watched as the ash passed over head, sending shards of wood, bone, rock and flora into the water in witch he hid. After 30 minuets of hiding at the depths of the sea bed, he noticed how the water was progressively getting darker, and murkier. There were dead bodies floating in the current, choked by the ash cloud that hung above him. Lochi knew he had to find a sea-cave with an air bubble... It was his only chance of survival... He swam for an hour, and he was beginning to feel exhausted. He needed air... But he found a cave, and it did indeed have an air socket... He crawled up onto the bank and instantly curled himself... He realised he was the last of his group... He had nothing left... As the darkness set in the waters became colder. Lochi hauled as much food as he possibly could up into the cave before sharks, or other aquatic predators could eat it, and settled in for a hibernation of sorts. He didn't know what it was like outside, all he knew was the ash was beginning to rain down in his cave...

He also has a secret that has been growing bigger and bigger since his sub-adult years... Of which he will only ever tell his mate...

Loosing their brother was devastating for Ajax and Adonis, however Adonis stepped forward into his fallen brothers spot, being the 2nd biggest of the three, and together the two survived. Together the two make a deadly hunting and fighting team, however times are hard and often their combined skills are still not enough to healthily sustain the two males.

Acovia is a quiet soul. She isn't one to just speak up or talk to another. She'll only communicate with someone if it's absolutely necessary or if they start the conversation, and even then it'll be rather awkward. Even when she does speak she isn't very loud unless she means it to be. Her voice is normally just a soft whisper. The parasaurolophus is also rather paranoid, even more so after the starfall. Not many lived and she's always worried about when the next disaster will come to kill the rest of them off. Even though she's quiet the dinosaur does terribly alone. She's nervous enough but when she's alone she's flat out scared, and is really just a wreck. She has to always. see another of her group, even if they don't talk she wants to remember that she is still here.

The raptor has a bit of a mouth and isn't afraid to tell other's when he thinks of them. He really has no filter and will often tell others things that may hurt them, and he doesn't care. Cyrwen only things about himself and his sister. He wants them to survive and he'll do many things to insure that Cilia lives, and will often put his life on the line to do so. He might not be 'caring' but he does think of her, she's the only person he really thinks of. Cyrwen isn't very fast but he has a lot of endurance. The animal is also quite cunning, and is good at thinking on his feet.

For a raptor Cilia is a small one, and a quiet one. When she first meets someone she'll often be closed off to them and wont really converse with them. but if they stick around enough the dinosaur will open up. She is what her brother (and some others) would call 'soft'. Cilia is a pretty kind predator. Though she doesn't feel anything for her pray she does care for others and what happens to them. She is a rather happy go lucky animal and is sometimes a little too 'peppy'. She always tries to be optimistic and will often hold on to hope for as long as possible. This can sometimes come off as annoying, especially when she refuses to admit there is nothing to be done. She can also be a bit too hard on herself.

(They're accepted ^^ I love your raptors... One thing though: 9m is awfully tall for a Para XD! They were around 9-11 (1.8m) foot at the hip... Acovia would actually be taller than a Spinosaur! XD!
