Vedset strictly follows the rules and traditions set by
previous generations. Only the eldest son of the royal
family may take the crown as king. Women, even the
queen are not given much power and seen only as
useful for political marriages.Those in higher power
are always nobility, the exception being mages. The
only place in Vedset were your rank can be raised.
The power is mostly owned by the king and his
advising council, followed by the traditional Grand
Duke, Dukes, Marquesses, Earls, Viscounts, and
Barons. Who manage smaller plots of land. They
have a large military and talented mages. Plentiful
in farm land.

Xane is a nation who's focus lays with military might
and magic for developing weaponry. They are the
most powerful and dangerous country, whom make
even their allies nervous. Men are given more
birthrights and only men of royal blood may succeed
the throne. But women are given positions of power
based on ability. There are no nobles, those who
have more power are those in the military or knights.
The Xane military includes talented mages who are
trained to focus on battle techniques. Xane was
once many smaller countries that were conquered by
the current line of ruler-ship, the title of the land is
referred to as Emperor instead of King. Given the
opportunity they wouldn't mind a full on war.

care much for politics he did not come
to the summit of his own accord. Rumors
of him murdering his own brothers to earn
the title of sole heir have made their way
to every corner of the continent. His
attendance makes many more wary

still one of the few women in the Knights
of Xane, and the only in history to be given
the title of Grand Cross. She worked hard
to get where she is, and her pride is one
of her strongest attributes. Ordered by
the Grand Master of the knights to attend
for specific reasons, she is hesitant about

The only remaining country with non-human residents
it acts as a sanctuary for Dwarves, Faes, Orcs and
Elves. It's ruled by the Elven royal family and holds
a fragile peace between the many races. As their
place in the world grows more uncertain and most
humans have a hatred for them, they are desperate
to make peace work. They want to do what they can
to give more rights to their people and pursue more
understanding from humans were possible. Though
not all the factions agree with this. Mixing blood is
frowned upon and hated, though a small faction of
young people do not have such traditional views
anymore. They have never married through the
summit, only signed peace treaties.

An old country who's boarders have shrunken over
the centuries, Treim's beliefs are founded in
diplomacy and peace. They have had to be. In the
center of the continent, with little land to their own
they are dependent on trade. Not to mention being
the host of the peace summit, neutrality is a core for
their continued well being. It is one of the few
countries without a royal family, it's rule being
diplomatic and made of representatives for different
smaller regions.The country itself is not allowed to
make enemies, nor allies. It's been long believed
that staying neutral is the best option for them. But
as time goes on, will that still be the case?

and tense world. Being given the role of
head ambassador and host was a surprise,
especially considering they are much

they quickly made a name for themselves
in Treim as a sensible and quick-witted
help for diplomacy. It wasn't uncommon to
appoint foreigners to important roles, so
when they showed their use them moved
up the ranks. But with unpredictable magic
powers and a dark secret, their important
role in the peace summit may be too much
in the end.

A mysterious and small country with closed boarders,
despite attending the summit every decade they have
never married, nor signed peace treaties, keeping
mostly to themselves even in conversation. They do
nottrust easily. They are a country who does not
support the use of magic, instead preferring the
pursuit of knowledge and science. Science being an
unused toolfor every other country, Lehpis has many
un-shared inventions. They have disbanded their
royal family and power is shared based on intelligence
and ability. But their closed boarders have put them
at risk by many un-trusting eyes. They dislike magic
based societies.

"professional" curiosity about some of the

Mikir is a medium country with extensive settlements,
they are known by many as a country of brutes and
primitive people. Their culture is warrior based, and
they don't use magic. They honor very old traditions,
their rulers are determined by combat and it is
solely ruled by women. It is an unusual country in
many ways but the people are friendly and welcome
strangers happily. They will make enemies of anyone
who looks down on them, and are know to be quick
to start fights, but only to settle arguments. They are
hard to manage at the summit of peace for this
reason and need to be kept an eye on

challenging others, and hasn't given much
thought at all to the tense air in the

more curious and interested in the other
cultures of the world. He finds his sister
too garish and unaware, and dislikes his
own culture and people. He was ecstatic

nervous about the brewing war. He wishes

someone, and is tired of being looked down

A country that honors the traditions of a king, queen
and the following nobles. It is the richest and second
most powerful country beside Xane. With massive
ports and fertile land it has made them rich. The
upper class spends their money frivolously on jewels.
Most of their society is based around religion, which
is the most important thing to it's people. They honor
the goddess "Aria" and have many temples, priests and
priestesses to spread the religion. They tend to look
down on the lower class and those who have a
different nobility system than they do.

The island of Oria is active and plentiful, the people
are free spirited and generally friendly. They are
excellent sailors and explorers, some of the only
people to venture into the unexplored oceans.
They have a traditional queen and king, whom
have an unusual marriage filled with love, and
many advisors who they listen to well. They enjoy
giving their people a sense of freedom and
security, but the recent climate has them growing
more nervous by the day. As a more neutral leaning
faction, it has come time for them to pick sides and
allies.
