Five hundred years ago in the realm of Theoghon was an ancient war between two different factions: "The Scourge" and "The Defenders of Theoghon". The war sent the world into chaos, destroying most of the land. When all seemed lost, a legendary hero of unknown origin appeared and aided the defeat of "The Scourge", finally ending the war.
The hero suddenly disappeared soon after, becoming a being of legend.
Presently, the remaining kingdoms after the great war have declared a truce, as signs of "The Scourge's" return have arisen; the number of undead and fiendish creatures increasing throughout the world.
As this news came to light, the people of Faewood decided to reform "The Defenders of Theoghon" in an attempt to hopefully bring back the legendary hero and stop "The Scourge" once and for all.

[Locations]
Faewood: The largest kingdom in the realm, surrounded by large stone walls to keep out invaders and is home of "The Defenders of Theoghon". Has the Faewood forest near the main city.
Greystone: A large kingdom, the main castle surrounded by nearly impenetrable walls as well as the main castle town. Second largest kingdom in comparison to Faewood.
Silverbrook: A steampunk city that's more technologically advanced than all the other cities. Is the main manufacturer of steam golems and shield golems, as well as other machines. Despite the smaller size, they are regarded as the strongest kingdom due to their technological prowess.
Baymond: A dark city with its castle sitting on a massive island, surrounded on all sides by cliffs. Is difficult to invade by land, however is well known for their potions and their criminal underworld.
Nishka: An oriental-style city well known for their culture, craftsmanship and clothing. Home for most Kitsune and Were-beasts.
Hollowmere: A snowy city to the south, hidden in the snowy mountains. This city has no castle as it appears to be primitive, however is well known for their fishing skills.
Feybreach: A large fortress build into the land. Known for their vast history with Dwarves, as well as their architecture.
ElderReach: A draconic-styled city that is known as the oldest city in history, but is mostly in ruin due to the war five hundred years ago. They are still re-building, but are still known as the longest-surviving city to date.
Midglen: An Elven city hidden within the treetops of the Midglen forest. A glorious sight to behold and is quite a peaceful place to visit.
Colkirk: A city full of magic and mysteries. The streets seem to twist and change around the central castle, which is the home of a magical academy that specialises in teaching Wizards, Clerics, Sorcerers and Warlocks alike.
Bellside: A small island containing a cosy town run by a lord and his family, not inherently a kingdom of sorts.
Rockmere: A Dwarven city build in the snowy mountains up north, the warmth underground being caused by a volcano, which the Dwarves use as fuel for their forges. Well known for their weapon and armour smiths.
Breakwater: A sea-side city famous for their imports and their more than ideal docks. They do not have a castle, instead they have a massive mansion to which the Breakwater royal family resides.
Brinewater: A massive fortress that lingers over the territory. The Castle sits on an island surrounded by lava, its origins of a dark and supposedly evil nature. Always seems to be under the cover of a large black cloud, blocking out the sun. Known for their dark magic, demonic heritage and vampiric inheritance.
