Three unlucky couples. One terrible bus accident. All six of them were supposed to die on that rainy summer day. But somehow, somehow, they survived. They were given a second chance. But nothing comes without a price. Later that day, each of the six teens found a letter tucked into their pockets and bags. It told them that they had been saved, but not for forever. In a month, in exactly thirty-one odd days, they would die again. 31 days. 744 hours. 44640 minutes. 2678400 seconds. This time for real. In addition, they were each given one superpower. It was up to them to decide how to spend the rest of their days in dread for their upcoming death with their unstoppable powers.

One couple decided to be heroes, saving people from terror and death.

One couple decided to wreck havoc about the city, knowing they were going to die anyway.

And one couple decided to live adventurously, doing everything they wanted to do before dying on final time.

But they all had one aching question lingering in their minds as their time shortened: was there a way to cheat death once again?

history ;; Xander was born to two successful surgeons, Mary and Aden Quintin, on December 17th. While his family wasn't overly rich, he knew that they had more than enough money to get them by. As a child, he dreamed big, but did little. Most of his days were spent in his bedroom, imagining up fantasy worlds to live in, all his own. For awhile, he had this little fantasy kingdom for nobody but him, but when he turned 7, his parents gave birth to Rose Amelia Quintin. Immediately, he knew that he felt nothing but adoration for the young girl. In fact, the young child never wanted to leave her side. To Xander, the newborn was quickly becoming his whole world. However, it was found she had a brain tumor, and it was cancerous. The words 'tumor' and 'cancerous' confused the now-8 year old boy, but he got the jive; she was sick, and in danger. The frequent seizures Rose had undergone terrified Xander, but despite this, he would never leave her side. Often times, the boy would tell his parents that he wouldn't leave her side until the tumor 'left her brain.'
When he turned 9, Rose Amelia Quintin, only 2, passed away. Afterwards, that's when his parents noticed the anxiety acting up. He wouldn't do anything without his father being around, he cried over the smallest of things, he constantly worried about things going horribly wrong, among other things. It was common for a child's mentality to become rocky after a sibling death, sure, but not to this degree. And certainly it shouldn't have carried on until he turned 14. Finally, his parents got him the professional help he needed. Now, he's a pretty happy teenager, but he still has those moments where he can do nothing but wonder how life would be if she had survived.
