Born in a small town, grew up in a small town, and will always live in a small town. For your entire life, you have lived in Icicle Creek, Michigan. Throughout the time, you have established friends as well as enemies and fell in love as well as had your broken. Now, it is winter break for two months, and the cold has threatened to settle into your heart. Some relationships stay strong during this cold winter, some hearts freeze in suspense, and other hearts have already been shattered. However, whether you stay strong and loving until the dawn of spring or allow your relationship to fly away like snowflakes gliding in the wind, there is one place that will never disappear from your life, and that one thing is Starbucks Coffee. The international shop is scattered all around the world and has even found its way to Icicle Creek, Michigan, your home. The last time you visited Starbucks, a blizzard had stirred up and nearly froze you and the one labelled as your soul mate until you were able to find shelter at the only Starbucks in fifty miles. While you waited out the inconvenient storm, you wrapped your arm around your lover and ordered your regular cup of coffee. As your coffee was made, the employees serving you your drink began mumbling how your relationship is defined by how you take your coffee. It was like the coffee was your zodiac sign or blood type that supposedly determined your personality. It's a bizarre idea that is probably just the workers rambling to pass the time, or it could possibly be a myth that could come true.

The cappuccino is a perfect balance between an espresso and hot milk. It tastes sweet, delicious, and basically perfect in every way. Everyone expects these two to be together forever, for they have been together forever. They've been in love since kindergarten, and everyone can imagine these two as kissing toddlers. Both of them have been put together through popularity, and the couple is probably made up of the quarterback of the football team and the head cheerleader. They are like two pieces of a puzzle and two halves to a whole. These two are supposed to get married, have kids, and live happily ever after. However, will this perfect love last, or will reality end this fairy tale?

A decaffeinated coffee has most of the caffeine removed or the love in this case. He likes her and she likes him, so the love is not unrequited. However, these two do not allow their unknown love for each other to get in the way of their relationship. They call each other friends so that their feelings will not complicate their situation, but they still love each other at all costs. On the other hand, everyone thinks they would make a cute couple, and they have been set up together more than once. At all times, though, they decided to stay as friends and have never even admitted their feelings for each other. Maybe, a helpful push or a leap of faith and courage might help these two figure out their love for each other.

Also known as Caffè Misto, this coffee is a perfect combination of rich-brewed coffee as well as frothy steamed milk. The two different parts of the drink are extremely different, yet, when put together, it creates something delicious. As for the relationship, a bad boy and a good girl make a perfect mixture. Many disapprove their love for each other, especially the good girl's protective family, but they are determined to stay together at all costs. The bad boy is always getting himself in trouble, so when the girl is around, she is willing to do the most idotic things with him, despite her intelligence. Although they are different in countless ways, they stay by each other's side, but the disapproval and trouble caused by them might be worse than anything else the bad boy has ever gotten himself into.

A Fappuccino is cold yet sweet at the same time, and that is exactly how this relationship works out. Both are cold to each other, but they are in love one way or another. For instance, one minute, you might ask who they are dating, and they will answer "the love of my life." The next, they tell you they are single because of a fight that, in your opinion, was pointless. For those who are up to date for all the relationships going on, it is especially hard to keep track of this relationship because even the silliest fights can break them. Each are stubborn and uncompromising to each other, but in the end, they work out their differences every time. Mostly everyone knows these two will be together in the end, so why can't they just stop arguing and stay together?

A little bit about Icicle Creek, Michigan...
Icicle Creek, Michigan, is located in the southern area of the state, so it would be a couple hours of a drive to the Great Lakes. As mentioned earlier, it is a small town that has a population of 142 people. Therefore, it is not difficult to know each other, giving a greater chance that your characters will bump into each other frequently or even know each other since childhood. Also, it snows all through winter, and there is usually more than three blizzards during the season. Snow has the power to shut down school, so this is one of the few reasons that their winter break is longer while the summer is shorter. Sometimes, it rains, although snow is more common.

• Icicle Creek - This is the place that the town was named after. It is a long creek that runs down a small forest near the east end of town. Icicle Creek is about four feet deep while the current is slightly strong but not enough to be able to drown a person or carry them down the creek. If you would like, you could go swimming, but the water is quite cold. As for the appearance, the creek is a beautiful part of nature with fish swimming, birds whistling, and phenomenal scenery that is break taking. Surprisingly, this magical creek does not freeze up during the winter and can be admired all year 'round.
• The Forest - If you want, you can call this place a miniature woods in the middle of nowhere. It is basically a group of trees that covers around fifteen acres of land with a creek running down the middle and filling up a little less than half of the land. The trees are pine trees that are so tall that they tower over everything. In fact, you cannot even see the top of them unless you attempt at climbing the rough bark, which is definitely difficult. Although it is a half a mile away from town, it is worth the walk to visit the small forest since the place is so peaceful. As an added benefit, it is the perfect location to get away from civilization.
• Starbucks Coffee - It is a coffeehouse that is the ideal location of relaxation and the perfect place to chill out. There is a warm fireplace, a various of items available to purchase, and all the types of coffee you can think of. Since there is not really any cafés or much restaurants, the Starbucks is usually busy at around ten people, well, at least for the folks living in town. This Starbucks has a television set with cable, one of the very few owned in the town. Furthermore, there is internet and comfortable couches that you can sink into and fall asleep before you know it.
• Park - On the rare occasions that the sun is shining in the sky, this is the perfect place to spend your day at. More than often, you will find people playing sports, throwing a Frisbee to their dog, and taking walks around this large grassy field. There is a basketball court, tennis court, volleyball net, and a huge field to play football, soccer, and other sports. It is fairly big, one of the biggest locations in the town, so running around and being yourself is not a problem. In general, it is paradise for the jocks and where you can laugh and have fun.
• The Old Water Tank - This high elevated water tank was once used until underground pipes were installed, that is. It is rusty, abandoned, dried up, and a few decades old, but it is not left alone by some people. Sure, it is unauthorized, and you can get in a load of trouble if you do climb up there, but the magnificent view overlooking the town and forest is worth the risky climb. There is a ladder to climb up to the top of the water tank and a ledge large enough to sit on.

• Character Limit - There are limited spots, so I must also limit the amount of characters you can have to one boy and one girl. If you cannot handle it and only roleplay one character for every post, though, please only fill out a form for one.
• Literacy - This is a big rule, so I appreciate you reading everything about this and actually doing it. This roleplay is going to be high semi-lit (two - three chunky paragraphs with ten+ lines per character). I would like you to send me a writing sample automatically when you reserve a spot - unless you have roleplayed with me before. the sample should be at least two (preferably three+) paragraphs so that I know you are literate enough. If you are the person I am looking for, you should only be in semi-lit+ roleplays. If you forget the sample, I'm afraid I will not accept you.
• Posting - I like pretty posts, so I appreciate making an effort in trying to make your post and form look a little nice.
