WILL YOU
It's the year 3000, and technology has reached its height. But humanity has become so
dependent on its technology, they cannot survive a single day without it. The governm-
ent fears that if the technology expands anymore, that the people will become too reli-
ant on it to a point that if technology were to ever fall, that humanity itself would do j-
ust the same. In a futile attempt to avoid that, the government had ordered all scient-
ists to pause any further work. But the civilization revolted against the halt, and even
resorted to violence. The government knew that if these outbreaks weren't contained,
war would ensue. So they came up with a plan.
Ten volunteers between the ages of 13 and 19 were to be chosen as variables to parti-
cipate in an experiment. Their memories were to be wiped, leaving only their names
and little knowledge of their life before. Nothing more than a faded memory was left
of their past or the world outside. Then they were to be placed in a large circular dom-
e, much like an enclosed arena. In that arena, they're given no technology whatsoever
besides a small backpack, containing few things to help them start off. This was all to
prove to the bulk of the population that they didn't need technology to survive. And, t-
o add extra impact, the arena was filled with mutated plants and animals, many with
killer instincts and deadly to humans. This was to show what could happen to the earth
if technology was allowed to grow too far.
But what wasn't released to the population was the information that even the scientists
didn't have any idea as to how this experiment was going to end. They didn't know if it
was really possible to survive without technology in a deadly world. They, along with the
rest of society, could only sit back and watch, and hope that the ten unlucky teens had
the fortune to make it through the experiment.
SURVIVE?
