no one knows what happened, or why it happened. it was the first of september 2013. the sky turned pitch black, and the electricity went out. lightning and rain filled the air, and people were mice, hiding out to wait for the cat to pass. then, people began to notice their neighbors develop strange..mutations. at night, loud howls filled the air, and screams were heard outside their windows. about a week later, the storms finally stopped; but the world was wrecked. fallen streetlamps shattered onto the sidewalks, and the asphalt was turned up. so, people who were still 'normal' ran and fled to anywhere they could to save their lives. though less than half of the humans were now 'monsters', they were still strong. the world quickly turned into sixty percent human and forty perfect supernatural, and no where was safe. around every corner was a new challenge, wether it was sickness, hunger, or supernatural. now, there's no choice but to run.

{one} this is a roleplay on chicken smoothie, so please follow tess and nick's rules.

{two} since this is in the advanced human roleplay section, i expect a good and steady ten lines per post, with or without writer's block. it really is quite simple, and everyone in this section should be able to do this, at least without writer's block.

{three} one character per person, simple, right? but, if we need it, i will ask for someone to make another male character, since we always run short of those.

{four} stick to the character's personality. don't have the vampire companion be strong and relaxed, when she is really naïve, innocent, and easily frightened.

{five} this is a realistic roleplay, meaning your character will not be able to see and hear everything from ten miles away. they won't be able to read each other's thoughts, or now exactly what they are going through. they won't win every battle or argument, and they will have injuries.

{six} i give you two hours for your reservation, and in that two hours your form must be completely finished, or you must immediately start working on it. but if you are going out, or something has popped up, i will give you more time.

there are four types of beings on this planet. humans, werewolves, shapeshifters, and vampires. humans are self explanatory, they were born with average abilities, and there is nothing enhanced about them. werewolves takes the form of a human in the day, and when the sun is completely vanished, they transform into wolves. though, this process is very painful, and they seem close to death when they transform. though, when they do take the form of a wolf, their health is replenished and they are extremely strong. they can change during the day, though it is an extremely high chance they can die, especially when the sun is in the highest position in the air. shapeshifters are also regular looking humans. they have the option to change into any animal, any time without pain. they take the abilities and health of what animal they transform into. some packs seem to have a close relationship with the werewolves, but others despise them, finally, vampires look the least like humans. they have un-natural colored eyes, and have extremely long teeth. they have enhanced speed, and they only drink the blood of animals and humans.

the protector and the curiosity are both at the young age of twenty. both are in a happy and caring relationship, all since sophomore year of highschool. the protector is seen as a humorous, protective, yet shy lad, while the curiosity is a bubbly, pesky, and curious girl. when the war started, the protector made a promise to protect the curiosity. though she was hesitant, she agreed, hiding the fact she herself was one of those 'monsters' from birth. the curiosity has been a shapeshifter, along with her parents, and many generations before. no one knows, and she intends to keep it that way.

the loner has lived twenty years on this year, the innocence nineteen. there is a line that divides their lives, the loner being a vampire. he has similar traits to a vampire, being very independent, and distant, while the innocence is happy and naïve, with a pure mind. both have been friends since the start of highschool, though it wasn't anything special. they didn't know too much about eachother, and they didn't talk very frequently. but with the lights going out, the loner doesn't want a part in the war. the innocence was frightened by the happenings, and begged to follow along, stating she wouldn't be a bother to him. so, he took her. it's only a matter of time before the innocence dies; by another being or him.

the arrogant is at the age of twenty two, being quite young for being an alpha of one of the many werewolf packs. the honest, well she's just your every day twenty one year old from a small town out in the middle of nowhere. the arrogant is rather full of himself, and very cocky. but, he is very selfless and brave. he was brought to the small town in minnesota all the way from california. now, he's dazzled and confused, but he soon finds the honest, a simple snappy girl who finds him dumped on the side of the road in the pitch black. now, all he has to do is find his way back to california. but he's not going alone. she? well, she is certainly going to give him a run for his money.

quite a pretty sight sweet little ari is. she is very sweet and gentle, yet quite pesky and curious. she is often described as cute and adorable, due to her behavior and the way she talks. she has a large talent with editing videos, computers, electronic specialties like hacking, befriending animals and she has a pretty good natural singing voice, despite no training. though, she isn't the best with cooking or directions. when first met, she comes off as untrusting and distant, being wary of you until she warms up to you, which most of the time is fairly quick. she is also very homey, preferring to stay inside than go outside. ari has a quite bubbly nature, though can have her shy and awkward moments, especially around strangers. she also seems to have a better mood when the cloud is darker than usual, especially if its raining or thundering.

she was born and raised in liverpool, and is an only child with two pets, clair; her white and brown kitty cat, and shadow; her golden retriever. she currently lives in an apartment with her best friend. ari is fully straight, and is currently single.

ari is at a short height of 5'2, being quite short. her original hair color is blonde, though she's dyed it in the past many colors. now, she is at a light pink, and plans to keep it that way. she also has tiny feet, and because of her overall sized is commonly called cute and adorable, also with her strong british accent. her style is rather simple, being a vintage- looking short sleeved short with jeans, and possibly a jacket.

ari has been a shapeshifter since birth. she can change into any animal at anytime. but favored forms include, gray wolf, bengal tiger, jaguar, horse, siberian husky, arctic fox, dove, and snow leopard.

I’m very down to earth and I don't believe I’m better than anyone, I don't judge people by what they look like Or of what others think of them .You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Other than that I’m not how I look when you get to know me .I’m not always happy, I mean every rainbow has its dark clouds. I can be very aggressive and angry at some times and can hurt allot of people, verbally and physically. I’m very sensitive or I can get hurt very easily , though I don't like crying and often hide my feelings which build up inside of me making me feel worse. I Do not like it when other people worry about me .I am often very stubborn and annoying, which can make people quiet angry. I cannot say that I am the scared type though there is only one thing that frightens me the most...Death. Any who enough with all the drama. • Wait, where's my sir? Just kidding, maybe. Ha. Anyway I am twenty-two years old, born on November 23rd, 1990. I was born in Dallas, Texas, but further moved to Los Angelos, California, when I was five. My family consists of me, my mother, my father, and my now deceased older brother, but more on him later.

• I would say that I'm a pretty tall guy. I am about 6'2", and I weigh about 150 lbs. My body is mostly muscle, but it is still trim and lean. I have grey eyes, that change colors to different shades of grey, from storm clouds to a light mist, it all depends on the day. I also have sharp features, like high cheek bones and a sharp nose. I have dark brown hair, that I usual style upwards, although it's pretty much always short. Let's see, no piercings, but I might get a lip ring, but I'm not sure. I have let's say seven tattoos, and I am trying to get one sleeve of them. When in wolf form, I have a very light grey coat, almost white. I have the same grey eyes, and I am very lean but still muscular. I look lanky when I move, but I am very filled out but you wouldn't know it. In the summer my coat turns into a darker grey and in the winter into the light grey. You will always see me wearing my pendant from my brother, but I usually keep it under my shirt.

• Simply, I would call myself arrogant and prideful, but also selfless and brave. I am very arrogant, and at times can be selfish and only think for myself. I honestly can't help it, so sorry in advance. I take pride in being who I am, and no one is going to stand in my way. I am very full of myself, but when you catch me at the right time, will find that I actually have a kind heart. I always take care of those I care for, including my pack and family. I will always stand up for those who need help, and I never back down from a fight or a challenge. I am known for being a fighter, and have gotten in trouble before because of it. I am also very loud, and usually cause quite a racket. I may also have a small problem with my temper, just saying. I am also a prankster, and usually can make people laugh or smile. Saying this, I can also be a player, and I flirt with a lot of girls. This is why I usually can't hold a relationship, since I try to be faithful, but the inner canine comes out and makes me flirt with every girl I see. Yeah, I know a lame excuse, but it's true.

• I was born exactly twenty-two years ago in the largest hospital in Dallas, Texas. I was brought home and had a loving family. See my whole family are wolves, but my parents were loners, and still are. When me moved to California is when my training started. I had just started to phase, and so did the intense training for becoming an alpha like my brother. I grew quick for my age, and that was partly because of the intensity of what I endured. So, the years flew by and I just turned sixteen, by brother was twenty-seven. It was a late night, and the humans had spotted my brother's pack hunting, and cornered one of the members. My brother rushed forward to help, and started to fight off the humans, but he didn't make it. He was killed that night and I have never really forgiven humans. Men especially because they are the ones who killed him. I have gotten better since then, but it still takes awhile for me to warm up to one. so since then I have become alpha of the LA pack, and all has been well since that day.

• Let's see, I am currently a single pringle, and I am straight, sorry boys. Umm my likes would include storms, food, competing, ruling, girls, night, and some other things. My dislikes would be men, humans, threats, bullies, and cats. Umm, I collect shoes, yeah I know so manly. In high school, I played lacrosse and football, but I had to be careful because at night, well let's just say once they got a little freaked out when I started to carry the football in my mouth. I also like to dance, and play guitar, and one of my favorite past-times is to work with spray-paint. I can paint anything as long as it's with either a can or airbrush gun. I have a room back home where it's all spray-painted, and I love it. I also take up the past-time of free running, which helps to let out stress and it's just fun.
