"Yeah.. It was a whole mess of things. An unsuccessful flirt with a man led to assassins going after me and my girlfriend at the time getting upset. She went and talked to my parents, my parents weren't very happy with me being with her so they cast us both away.. Then she straight up left me for the guy I accidentally flirted with." Eden brushed her hair back, looking at Bosco. "I was pretty much left with Bosco and the clothes on my back. Crummy business, but I'm sitting at a higher rank in the Stormcloaks than my parents are. All I ever want to do now is become stronger and prove my worth to them. I think they despise me even more now that I'm higher than they are." She chuckled. "Oh well. The family is a whole mess, for the most part I'm kind of glad I've removed myself from the chaos."

"Well, I don't actually have a contract at the moment. It makes me feel as if I'm slacking compared to all my fellow assassins. I shouldn't really say that out loud should I?" It was good to see a Dagi-Raht and one who seemed. He took a drink before saying "See, I believe you think your in Markarth, Black Briar mead is the main drink in Riften," He paused "I had just realized, we haven't said our names yet. What kind of greeting is this without names?" He smiled at him waiting for him to answer the questions he had randomly threw at the man he had just met. He hardly even knew him.

"Blackbriar's alright, but blood and silver is all that runs through my veins," he took another drink, chuckling at his own joke,
"The only name I go by is Navik, but I've been known to be called 'that damn fine khajiit and the prick who robbed me blind' among other names.. You seem like a good killer though, you're dressed for the occasion and at least you only do it for contracts." The khajiit spaced out for a moment, the weight of his own words sinking in for a moment.
"But anywho, what might your name be, and what's the Brotherhood up to these days, I haven't seen Astrid in a good while now."
Here Navik was having a dandy chat with an assassin, and yet all he could think was how this killer was likely a better person with less innocent blood on their hands than his own. The mead hadn't gotten to his head that quickly, had it? Bah, what would it matter anyhow, this is the land of the Nords, everyone here's a killer. Maybe it would do him good to get closer to some guilds like the Brotherhood and the Thieves' Guild, gain some favor in the eyes of Sithis or Nocturnal.

He smiled "S'dran. Not much has changed in the Brotherhood." He then continued "I've not seen many Dagi-Raht around here." S'dran finished his mead before ordering more. "Sometimes I wonder why I bother with this place with the war. Too much blood gets spilled and most of the blood isn't from the Dark Brotherhood. I've also, from my time being here, noticed that Thievery wont be my strong point. I'm rather good at assassinations but the whole light fingered, no murder approach? I'd accidentally kill someone trying to get to a safe or a strongbox. I'd be fired within five seconds." He was smiling all the way through the chat.

A L T A V I A
seventeen - breton - location: Winterhold, College - tags: Nicholas
Altavia shrugged in response, and she stayed by the threshold and narrowed her eyes at the visitors, one woman seeming strikingly familiar. Their eyes met and held for a while, an unsettling moment between the two. All of them were clearly magicians, and with the way they were introduced she had to wonder just how powerful they were. The imperial, a handsome man who lived up to his race amongst the young mages introduced himself again after the archmage, who was buzzing with an excitement Altavia hasn't seen before.
"My name is Roque Andromedus. I along with several over wizards, are currently looking to invest in this college and all it's young potential. We'll be staying here for a few days, no thanks to your wonderful archmage, and if we like what we see each of us a willing to give an apprenticeship. Only one may gain this advantage over your peers, but none should miss the opportunity..." He kept himself brief, only adding that his mages will be placed throughout the college. Altavia didn't want to admit it but he was rather convincing, and maybe if she really wanted to be a scholar she would take part, but she wasn't, and didn't like the look of those people at all. "If they get nosey, make sure they don't see my journal, alright?" She told Nick in a low voice, walking up behind him. She paused for a moment to glance at him, "And i'd put something on, just an idea." She nodded, marching back into her room to hide the satchel containing the mask.
So, are there any questions at the moment?" Roque asked, watching the girl leave with an intrigued flicker in his light hazel eyes.

Akadar Strong-Blade - Male - 26 - Nord - Whiterun - Tagged: Faolan
In all honesty, Akadar never expected to get this far either. Nords were a very stubborn race. "All that matters now is that we have an opportunity to fix this. You're back where you belong, and you will always be welcome here, Faolan." Akadar missed his younger brother each day that he was away in Riverwood. Perhaps now things could be mended between them. "A bear? Did she really?" Akadar listened curiously as Faolan told him the grand tale of the grizzly he witnessed their aunt slay. As Akadar knew her, it was hard to imagine their Aunt Sefi killing a bear. "I'll keep an eye out for that trophy next time I visit." It had been many years since he visited their aunt, mostly because his duties as a guard kept him busy. "A detachment of guards was sent down that way several days ago in light of the supposed dragon attack at Helgen. It seems the Jarl made the decision just in time." The pain of his wounds had faded to a dull ache by now, but that ache would constantly remind him of the attack. "I wouldn't guess Aunt Sefi ever slayed a dragon though in her years. One of them half-elf folks struck the killing blow, but the guard and I did quite a number on the beast before it fell." That was one victory the guards had over the Companions, at least.(Bear with me on replies here I'm working on it I promise)

Apocrypha - Firebird - Calcemo's Dwemer Museum - Tagged: Durak
Apocrypha kept silent during the exchange, taking to preening her feathers while the two males spoke. The conversation finished as quickly as it began, resulting in Durak gaining free access to the dwarven museum. How curious, The firebird thought to herself. I distinctly remember the Nimhe terrorizing the excavation site, not the museum. She supposed it didn't really matter; if the poisoned one--as the mortals took to calling the arachnid--was presently raiding the Dwemer museum, that meant no guards would be roaming the laboratory or living quarters beyond. Thus, the chieftain could complete his task easily without interruption. All the better for them both. "Back the way you came, but continue to the right after you pass the gate to Understone Keep." Apocrypha informed him, as though she were reading from a map. "Do not slay the spider just yet, you will need the creature's living presence to uphold the illusion that you are fighting it. Once we enter the museum, I will blind and distract the arachnid so you may skirt by. I will join you at the door at the opposite end of the room." Apocrypha's voice faded to a low coo as the duo approached the guards, who were already aware of Durak as the spider exterminator. Key in hand, Durak was free to enter, the giant spider scuttling within. Once the door shut and locked behind them, the spider locked its gaze on the presumably juicy looking Orc, but Apocrypha would have none of that. She was swift on the wing, and though her talons were dull, with enough force behind them they managed to cause a great deal of damage to Nimhe and her sight, Apocrypha now playing cat and mouse with the arachnid to keep it distracted.

Nicholas Storm - Male - 31 - Breton - College of Winterhold - Tagged: Altavia and a bunch of weirdo mages
The necromancer wasn't given a chance to get himself the rest of the way decent before the mages voiced their purpose: they offer an apprenticeship. That was something Nicholas could get behind. Sure, he wasn't some young prodigy like some of the other mages, but he was incredibly gifted in his chosen field of study. Neither the guest mages nor the other apprentices gave Nick any strange looks, though he caught one or two staring (likely at his scar rather than his figure--or lack thereof) but he didn't pay them much mind. "Are you not at all interested in this?" He asked her, glancing back in Altavia's direction. He made a mental note to tuck away her journal when he went to put on a tunic. Nick found it bizarre the younger would turn away such an opportunity; she was a very talented mage by what he'd seen. "Something like this could do a lot of good for someone with your skill," The dark haired Breton commented before turning around. He didn't like the look the Imperial mage was giving Altavia, so Nicholas made a second mental note to keep an eye on him. First though, he needed a shirt.
Nick soon discovered his room was already stocked with fine mage clothing, so once he put on a fresh set of clothing and a temporary cloak, as Altavia continued to use his, he tucked her notebook into the cloak and grabbed the Sigil Stone from its stand, stepping back out two strides to Altavia's room. He was far too awake now to go back to sleep.

Shade \\ F \\ 23 \\ Dark elf \\ Tags: Eden
The dark elf listened with high interest and kept her attention on the female. She almost felt bad for the women but it sounded like she has moved passed all of that. "Well I'm sorry to hear that about your family, and your girlfriend. You're parents should've supported you no matter what decisions you made. Parents are supposed to love you unconditionally and teach you wrong from right. To help you stand up when you knock yourself down. Not kick you out because you were with a female." Shade sighed lightly before leaning back against the cool wooden wall and crossing her legs. "Well, you proved your parents wrong and became better than them. You should be proud of yourself for it and wear that rank well. Don't let your parents knock you down becuase you have done better than them." The dark elf offered her a smile before looking down at Bosco. Shades past started to come into kind and she felt like she had to share a piece of herself as well. "When I was younger, I always dreamed of coming to Skyrim and exploring every inch of this place. Everything excited me and I just wanted to learn about all of it. My parents werent happy with what I wanted to do, becuase they knew how racist Skyrim was against Dark elves, but I didn't let it stop me. When I became of age to make my own decisions, I left in the middle of the night on hopped on the boat that would take me to Skyrim. Where I lived, it didn't matter which race you were, just as long as you had the coin." Shade chuckled softly before uncrossing her legs. "I've been here ever since and I have no idea if my family is still alive." She lifted her head slightly to look back up at her new friend.

Durak \\ M \\ 24 \\ Orc \\ Tags: Apocrypha
Durak listened to the bird carefully, and followed her directions perfectly. He unlocked the door and walked inside before locking it behind him. The orc soon heard the spider crawling around and then he felt the bird leave his shoulder and do her dark magic tricks and it seemed to blind the arachnid. A grotesque grin formed on the males face before he snuck by and stopped at the door just as Apocrypha had stated, so the spider wouldn't see him, and waited for the bird. Once when she returned to his shoulder he turned his head slightly and looked at her. "What's next?" He asked in a low and husky tone.
