((No worries, happens all the time I'm quite used to it. Now how fast-acting is this poison? I don't know if anyone would want their flesh being eaten away mid-fight. That seems a bit excessive.))
A lone rook sits poised at the edge of a cliff, sword drawn, eyes open. Against him, an army, its size near unfathomable. The rook smiles.
If only it were a fair fight.

((Sure, people are armored enough as it is I'm not worried about their being too many venom incidents. And Nightra I guess that'll work, but I'm not interested in making a discussion form. I'm fine with OOC clutter, quite frankly I find discussion forums to be a bit irritating because you have to pay attention to 2 threads for 1 rp, which is a bit ridiculous. If anyone would like to discuss something, please do so, OOC is approved of if not encouraged. Try to focus more on the posts though ;d))

Eden's war piece was rather conspicuous. It was rather difficult not to notice the slender woman with two brightly colored spears in hand, and the long metal poles were so unwieldy. They knocked against the ground, banged into trees, and smacked against her shins. What the Everlasting had been thinking giving her this particular war piece the young noble did not know, nor did she care to.
The set of spears was now simply another tool to be used, a way to bring herself to the top. They were weapons for killing and she had not the time to spare for her conscience to tell her otherwise. These games she would win at all costs for that was how the world worked. Used what tools you have and rise to the top or die trying. Such was the life of a noble, or rather, more simply, such was life.
Tripping, the girl stumbled into the tree, dropping one of her weapons with a yelp of pain. To any watching eyes she seemed utterly incompetent, more likely to be killed than to kill. It was the look of an untried girl bumbling about in a big world she did not know. It was all a sham.
Eden often adopted this persona when she left her estate quickly becoming a useless girl who had no clue what she was doing. A natural airhead who evoked the desire to protect. It was pitiful really, and yet utterly brilliant. She had completed many of her games this way, acting weak to such a convincing degree that she nearly believed it herself. It was easy to see how, even without her war pieces, she was a formidable opponent.
With observant eyes hiding behind a thick veneer of clumsiness, she watched the forest around her waiting to see what was out here today.

Matt blinked. The fight had been over very quickly - Roxy was quite strong, and obviously competent with her unusual War Piece. It seemed like fighting hellhounds and cerberuses were an everyday occurrence for her. It was odd, actually, since Matt rarely saw monsters like that, but often found himself fighting other humans like himself. "Very nice." He hummed appreciatively, going over to retrieve his knife from the cerberus's middle head. It was definitely dead, Roxy's knife throw had hit it right between the eyes. But, now that the action was over, what could they do? It was a nice place to rest where they were currently, but it was secluded, and monsters would probably be able to find their way over easily. What should they do next? Where could they go next?
Hey, I'm Leo. I'm tentatively trying out CS again, I quit early last year after a very bad experience.

Juliet
I sighed and stood up from where I had been sitting under the large tree that provided shade for me. It had been two days since my last fight and some parts of me yearned for a good fight now. I looked down at my leg, a bandage still wrapped around the large cut. In my last fight, the man had gotten past Alphonse and landed a nice cut on my upper thigh. I had to give the man props at the time, hardly anyone who didn't have a War Piece could get by my Alphonse. "He was a lucky guy...was..."
I tested out the hurt leg a few times, stumbling at first, but I soon managed to start a good rhythm of limping. I need some food, I won't heal fast enough if I'm starving to death. Now...which way to the closest village. I looked all around for some kind of sign or a road, what I saw was a tree, another tree, and oh big surprise; A tree. Okay, so I'm lost...
I am like a brilliant red rose. So beautiful to look at that you just want to have it, but you do not see the thorns I have. I have the beauty of lady but the attitude of a caged tiger!

"Dam*." Phoebe remarked. Of course the noblemen come and buy all the good stuff. Oh well. She sat down at the counter and pulled out her coin bag. It was fuller than normal--and by that, she means she had more than ten coins--but she still felt that familiar pain when she put one coin down.
"Hot water and a slice of bread, please." Phoebe mumbled and glanced at the other customer. He had jumped at the sight of her. Did he know? Her weapon belt was visible, but hey, everyone wore a weapon visibly nowadays. Her father carried a pistol at all times, to protect from people and those scavenging linx. Everyone needed protection.
Luke watched the baker hand the asked items to the girl. He watched the exchange with a curious expression. He didn't have any gold. He frowned and walked up to the girl and pointed to the dull gold coin. "Where did you get that?" He asked softly. He too wore a weapon in plain sight, a sword worn horizontally at his waist, it's hilt on his left. Like his clothes, the sword looked rather expensive.
(For wormgod
also working on another charrie, maybe. . .not sure yet.)
