A smile lit up on May's face as Kenton's mother agreed for her to be able to take some of the moose, and relief just spread through her entire body. "Oh, thank you so much, Ma'am!" she said happily, her voice almost a purr, her tiger side showing. "My Mother and I both thank you!" she said happily.
Thinking of what she said about him being a monster, she shrugged her shoulders slightly, saying, "I think he could be a really great person if he tried. I think...he's almost afraid to trust again," she said, recalling their conversation from earlier that day. Sighing, she eyed the moose as a human, before walking up towards it, leaning over and dragging a fingernail over the hind quarter that was showing, and soon a large claw began to trace the muscle, piercing the skin and slicing the muscle. Within five minutes, she had salvaged half of the moose, as both her and her mother had large appetites. One back quarter, a front quarter, a rack of ribs, and an organ that most found disgusting, but she personally loved it; the liver. She let the other family keep everything else including the tongue, ribs, quarters, other organs and the rack of antlers, not sure if they would want them or not. Eyeing the meat with a small grin, she quickly jumped outside and ran to her secret cove of trees, and grabbed a large wrap that she had made of leaves and vines and needles, and then drug it back, galloping as fast as she could. Snorting, she entered the den once again, and stood on her hind legs, transforming within a blink of an eye. She began to lay out the meat in a neat order, and then tied the corners in a knot, wrapping it with another vine, before turning towards the Mother. "I really do owe you one, Ma'am," she said softly, grateful.
