Walking to the library, Niles waited patiently as they waited for Pax. When Lilly handed him his shirt, he looked up with a grin. "Thank, Lil." He says taking it and looking around to see who was still out in the halls. Since class was starting soon most students were out of the hall and in class already. He then reached down and lifted his stained shirt over his head not caring that he was half naked since these where his friends and they've seen him without a shirt plenty of times. He quickly put the plaid shirt on and buttoned it up then rolled up the sleeves.

As he did so he thought about what Lilly had said. Parties? Niles never had gone to a party other than a causal birthday one, and since it was Lilly they were talking about the parties she mentioned would be wild and crazy. Niles thought he would just head home after they did anything big.

Hearing the group of friends arrive down the hallway long before she could see them, Paxton turned to see four kids walking towards her, all with faces she recognized. There was LillyBeth, the tallest girl and the party animal. She was mainly the reason Pax had known the arrival of the group before seeing them. Beside her walked a kid she knew as Liam, she knew to be quite a bit of a stereotypical jock. But he seemed to be a bit different. She couldn't quite place her finger on the reason why and how just yet. With them, they brought Dani, a girl who was a bit shy, and Niles, a kid all about his good grades and passing school. She was a little shocked to see him skipping. If she could trust anyone to stay through the whole day of school and not skip, it would be Niles. They seemed to be missing three, but then Pax remembered Micky and Jimmy had both skipped or at least part of it anyway for Jim. But there was still one member of their group missing. She couldn't spot Kate. Maybe she didn't get the text or maybe she wasn't coming, but Pax began to slightly envy that city slicker for being strong enough to stick it out until the end. Becoming a bit more nervous with every passing second, she bit her lower lip as she watched the group of friends approach her. Most of them weren't as close to her as they were to Jimmy. For example, Liam, Lilly, Micky, and Kate seemed to be more of Jimmy's friends with their more party animal styles or skipping. Pax felt a bit closer to Dani and Niles because they were both more about getting good grades and keeping out of trouble. She got along well with them. It seemed a bit like the pack united when Pax and Jimmy had gotten together and she almost laughed at the strange thought in her head. It was funny though. It seemed like then was the time she stopped being called Kira and started being called Pax. It was a simple mistake at first, but it picked up later. There were only a handful of people who ever called her Kira anymore. Those people were her dad because he was usually in a depressed mood if he called her Pax, her older brothers George and Damien because they weren't really around when her name was changed to her nickname, and on occasion, she'd still hear Jimmy call her Kira which made her feel a little bit more special. It was partly because not many others called her that and only he did on a occasions. Like it was his name for her. Pax felt a smile twitch at the corners of her mouth as she cleared her thoughts away to look up at LillyBeth. "I'm fine taking your truck..." She said, a bit nostalgic. Although knowing how to drive since she was five, she didn't often get the chance to drive outside of her farm work since there was init two trucks on the farm. One was her dad's for the farm and the other's was her brother's. She was about to ask if she could stop at home first, but decided against it as then someone may realize she was skipping at Tucker might get a bit upset. "I got Micky's text. So to the factory it is. Where's Kate?" she asked, not really sure what to say. She'd likely remain as quiet as Dani otherwise.

Liam

Liam looked at Lilly "Well I'm totally sitting in the bed of your truck, because thats my favorite thing ever. It's almost as fun as riding a motorcycle" he said with a smile.He chuckled a bit at Lilly's words "Yes actually I have been in there once, but not for studying." he said with a suggestive wink. A large smile grew on his face when she mentioned what they were going to do tonight "Sounds pretty awesome to me, you know how much I love a good party." he said to her. He let Lilly walk ahead to go find Pax so he could stand back and talk to Danielle a bit. He looked at the girl "So you excited for tonight? My guess is it's going to be pretty crazy, since I haven't seen Lilly get this excited in a while." he said to her trying to start a conversation. He looked her over quickly and he decided that he really liked her hair, it was a really cool color and it complimented her eyes nicely. "Your hair is pretty" He blurted out not even processing the words before he said them. He suddenly felt really embarrassed and ran one of his hands through his own hair nervously. What was happening to him? He was always cool and collected around girls, not the babbling idiot he had just been.

Looking up, Niles say Pax walk towards them, now most of the gang was together. He knew where Micky and Jimmy were, but like Pax mentioned, he didn't know where Katie was. She might be doing her own thing since, like the city slicker she was, she did a lot of things her own way which a lot of people admired. "I'm not sure. I haven't seen her, Did you guys text her? She might want to come." Niles asked the group.

Dani smiled and murmured a quiet "Hello." to Pax when their little group made their way over to her. Pax was one whom she was closer to, seeing that they both were slightly similar academically and personality wise. Moments after, Dani's attention was turned to Liam, who was talking about the party. "Oh, sure. She replied, taking a moment to look at him. "Although I usually just tend to sit back and watch. It can be more entertaining to watch sometimes, in my opinion." She added, a smile forming on her lips. But, when she heard Liam complement her hair, she was momentarily stunned. "Um... Thank you ?" She had tried to sound sincere, but her reply came out more like a question. Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment for the second time in a row, and she cast her gaze down to her converse-clad feet. Dani mentally scolded herself for saying it like that, it made her sound like she didn't appreciate his compliment. After all, she was a girl who held herself with 'kindness is virtue', and she was determined to live up to it. "Er, I mean... Well, yeah, thanks." She smiled as best she could, but she felt like she wanted to cower away. She kept on scolding herself, wanting badly to take back her words and replace them with ones that made her sound more intelligent. In her mind, what she had said were words that came from a four-year-olds mouth. She gave up on trying to save herself from embarrassment, they were all friends anyways. They wouldn't care, right ?

Rubbing his shoulder from the impact, he would murmur some words before looking up at a stack of wooden crates. He smirked, running at the crates. Taking off his flannel, putting off to the side only because it was getting way to hot for that and it was easier climbing without any shirt on him. Or maybe it felt more freedom. He climbed up the tall stack swiftly, easily up the edges until he finally got to the top. Standing ontop of the stack he would put his hands at his hip, proud of his accomplishment. From the height of where he stood, he could see Jimmy with his horse bolting over. Waving to him, he would tilt his head to the side. He wondered if the rest of his friends are on their way. When Jimmy came, he would laugh, "Yeah..Sure." he shrugged being a bit cocky.When Jim came up and nudged him over, Micky had a small fear shiver up his spine of being so close to the edge,"Aye! That ain't funny." he said in his western accent.

Jimmy watched Micky climb the crates, he chuckled in amusement when Micky got to the top. Waving at Micky, he would leap off his horse, almost falling over on the landing, "Woah..." he said in a sigh, putting his horse's "leash" wrapped around a pole. Walking over, Jim crossed his arms looking up at him, "I bet I can climb up there too, hold on!" Jimmy started to climb up the boxes, not as fast as Micky, but when Jim climbed he found it quite easy. Getting to the top, Jim pulled himself over and nudged Micky off to the other side of the crate, "Hah." he said crossing his arms again looking at him.

Lillybeth shrugged "I have no clue where Katie is, I sent a group text so she has to have gotten it, she can always meet us at the factory" she saw Liam and Dani and held in a laugh. She hoped that no one else saw their awkward interaction, she loved picking on Liam but she could tell this was not the time. She didnt want them to get too awkward so she walked over to them and put her arms around their shoulders "you kids ready for some fun!?" she asked the whole group. She looked at Dani then to Liam and then let go of them and headed off to the doors. She had learned over the years that distracting an awkward situation like that often made it go away, and she also lived by the motto 'its only awkward if you make it awkward' so she was always up to rid a situation of the poison. She turned around and walked backwards so she could see the group and watched them as they fallowed "who calls the cab? two people have to ride in the bed and I think Liam already called a spot" she winked at Liam then looked to the rest of the group. "oh and whoever sits up front is the DJ!" laughing she turned around and opened the door and walked out as sunlight poured down onto the group.

Liam looked at Danielle "Yeah watchings not too bad, but tonight I'm gonna make sure you actually party with us. I like you'll like it, but if I'm wrong you can make me sit back and watch with you." He said with a smile. There you go Liam thats more like yourself he thought to himself. Of course his awkward comment before had to come back and bit him with an equally as awkward response from her, so Liam was extremely happy that Lilly came in to distract away from it. "Hell yeah!" he replied to her question with a big grin. He also gave her a look thanking her for helping him out, she was a great friend that way. Liam looked over at Niles "Niles you should sit up front with Lilly, I'm curious to see if you make as good a DJ as I do" he said with a laugh. He noticed how Lilly was acting around Niles recently, so he thought this could be his way of repaying her for saving him just a few moments earlier. He started to follow Lilly out the door and he looked back and Danielle and Niles "Come on slow-pokes lets get going!" He said enthusiastically.

(eh sorry if this post doesn't make any sense, its really late but I just thought I should sneak in one more post before I go to sleep)
