Kohaku looked up when Loke spoke, and listened contently to him. "If they're not legal pets then perhaps hide them? With a wolf or a fox it might be pretty hard, but it's still better than losing them, right?" she answered, raising a brow. "No wolves or foxes just pop out out of nowhere and decide they want to be owned by a human, so obviously they're here for a reason or something." His next question baffled her, and amber eyes widened. "You see them too? I've been too afraid to talk about them to anyone-- I'm glad that you can see them as well. What are they, though? I assumed they were just some new species of bug or something of the sort; maybe a subspecies. Sometimes they even look like weird dust specks."

She frowned when she noticed the wolf entering the treehouse again, her mind immediately wandering when she considered things that could have happened to the German Shepherd under her care. Maybe he was never returning? Honestly, she wouldn't doubt it. Her eyes had gone elsewhere and she was absently peering at a cluster of cobwebs on the ceiling of the treehouse until a growl caught her attention, and she looked back down at the wolf who was laying and staring across the room at no one other than Kohaku herself. "What's with the wolf right now?" she questioned to no one in particular, meeting eyes with the canine.

After seeing the demon, Lyon looked behind him and tried to figure out where it came from. Knowing no one would care if he disappeared, he started to walk away. He left his blue cape on a low hanging branch, hoping no one would notice for awhile that he was gone. 'Watch over Kohaku for me,' he thought and continued on in his white overcoat.
Before long, he couldn't hear the others and his senses were going crazy. The forest was getting darker and the feeling of demons was over-whlming. There were little bugs everywhere. He would let one crawl on him, then kill it. "This isn't right," he said aloud and turned on his heels as something snapped behind him.

He shrugged and then jumped as the wolf stood on something below then took off again. "And then there's the bigger ones," he said and curled up in fear. His eyes were closed tight, and his glasses fell to the floor.

Vera listened to the others talk, standing at the back of the group in silence. She liked to observe others before opening up. If you don't trust anyone, they can't betray you. Her human life was growing fuzzy in her memory, but she still had the same personality. After a few more minutes of conversation, they parted ways again, shifting into animal form and heading back to the tree-house. This time the wolf did not offer to carry her, so Vera's tiny ferret paws were tired by the time she made it back. Curling around her human's neck again, she was tempted to rest, but knew it was more important to stay alert.

Yukio Okumura stood up to see her looking at him. yon said to look after her. He wondered where the dog was going but Yukio was going to do so. He stood up walking over to her and nudging her hand with his nose. He looked over at Loke and walked over nudging his glasses back towards him. He wined a little lying down on his stomach to show that he was friendly. Yukio looked back up at Kohaku and wagged his tail three times. Nothing like a dog, act natural. he reminded himself. He wanted to tell him that they were all here to protect them and not even they know why they were chosen. Maybe their skills? He yawned lying his head down on the wooden floor still next to Loke and still looking up at Kohaku.

He readied his fists to fight just in case. He had a really bad feeling about this, but he pushed on anyways. Hopefully the others didn't notice he was gone. He began to see things running past him and he was about to turn around, but his white must have given him away. The next thing he knew, a large black mass that looked like a human was on top of him, wielding a knife to his throat. 'Great!' he thought as he grinned evilly and proceed to beat the demon up. Taking the knife he dealt a killing blow and started to run. It was bad enough he had a cut across his chest Forcing to strip his shirt off, but now he had a few of them chasing him. "Next time I do this, I need to bring someone with me!" he growled through his teeth before shifting into his animal form and killing two of the five. He spun around as he felt claws ripping through him at every turn. 'So this is what we are facing and where they come from,' he thought and realized he might not make it out of this.

Loke looked up and saw the large wolf push his glasses towards him. He didn't really need then, but he patted the canine's head and put then back on. "Thanks, boy," he said and looked around. "Have you seen Pisces?" he asked, full well knowing that the wolf probably doesn't understand him. He sighed and looked around, waiting for someone else to comment on the earlier topics that they were here to discuss.

Takuya sat in silence for a long time. What Loke had said earlier upset him slightly but he didn't say anything about. A lot of the other pets scampered out of the tree house, all following the wolf. He felt his new companion uncurl herself from his neck and race out to follow them. That was the first time it had ever left his side and he felt slightly curious as to why they all left. After what seemed like an eternity Loke started to speak up. With nothing to input into the conversation he just stared down at the floor. His hands started to fidget slightly and he was getting antsy. It seemed that they all acquired pets at the same time and it felt too planned to be a coincidence. A lot of them received relatively normal animals, only two in particular worried him. The wolf was especially worrying. It wasn't good to keep wild animals as pets but at least the animal seemed more mellow than a regular wolf. The others started talking about the same subject and then eventually the topic of the black specks came up. He figured that they had all seen them by now. A sour mood overcame him when that topic came up. Despite them being so tiny the little specks scared him. They felt like a warning of something far greater to come. He let out a shallow sigh of relief when the animals came back. As if nothing happened his ferret ran right back to him, snug around his neck. His smile returned slightly and he started to feel more sociable. "Does that mean we've all seen them? Those specks I mean..." He felt like he was just stating the obvious but he wanted to hear an answer from everyone.

Chikako sighed with relief when she noticed the return of their pets. "Looks like you
made some friends, Scorpio." A moment passed before she realized what she called
her wolf pet, and she swore she heard a lightbulb go on above her head. The name
Scorpio would be a perfect name for a wolf such as the one in her possession, loyal
and observant. She was about to share her newfound joy with her pet in finding a
name for him, but a voice cut in before she could hug Scorpio. So Loke's been seeing
them too. she thought in shock. Those weird bug things have been in her sightings for awhile now, no matter where she was or what she was doing. The only place that seemed to be most safe was her home, but even that too contained something dangerous she couldn't describe. Sometimes she would have awful nightmares about those demon-looking bugs or hear something in her closet at night. Kohaku was in a similar situation. "I've never suspected that you all have been seeing them too. It's pretty frightening."

Natsumi huffed a bit, watching as all the others left. 'I would love to talk for a bit longer..' she thought before shapeshifting back into a black cat and making her way back to the treehouse. She pounced on a few things, such as leaves on the way over there, but it was for her own entertainment. Natsumi seemed to be the last one to the treehouse. She padded into the said house, scanning the room for her owner. Meowing a few times, she noticed him by his ruffled up hair. She ran over to him with glee, it almost was as if a smile had appeared on her little mouth. Natsumi jumped onto his laps, unaware that it might have caught him by surprise. She made herself comfortable in his laps and waited for him to pet her, but they were currently in a discussion about something serious. Natsumi didn't seem to interested in the conversation until she heard the word 'dust specks' being said often. It was like a defintion of the demons. Her ears perked up, and she began nudging Katsu's hand as a weird sign that she wanted to be put on a table. Of course, she could just hop on it, but she loved it when humans carried her around.

Yukio Okumura smiled, well as well as a wolf could. They were talking, about it. What's it? Well Demons of course. Finally all discussing it. How would he be able to show that he too was seeing them. His human knew but not the others. An idea hatched into his head. It seemed that the smallest demon, a mini bat like creature was most common. They flew around slowly and were pretty harmless unless there were great number and you unsettled them. They aren't interested in human souls yet, they are still growing into what he had to attack earlier. He nudged his owners hand and jumped out of tree house. It didn't take him long to find a group of five looming around. He wondered what they fed off of. Dust? Bugs? Yukio ran over and jumped catching one in midair. Landing he didn't bite down to kill it he kept it alive. Padding back into the tree house he dropped it done the floor stepping on its wings with his paw and looked up at Chikako.
