She flinched when her mom went to hit her but felt nothing. Her mom stood there frozen for a moment and then hugged Anna and started crying and apologizing over and over again. Her mother hadn't realized what she was doing and she was obviously ashamed that she even though of hitting Anna. After a 2 hour talk everything seemed perfect. Till Anna's mother's boyfriend came. Her mother sent Anna to her room and then there yelling and screaming...until the police came. Anna and her brother Sam ended up needing a place to stay while their parents went to jail. Her mother only got 2 weeks in jail but her boyfriend wasn't so lucky. Her mother ended up going to jail for the lies her boyfriend had but when she is released she has to go to court. Her boyfriend went to jail for abuse.

Grant stopped again,every time he stopped he would find himself winded of air. He slumped back against the wall,letting his head fall again. He wiped his forehead on his sleeve and reached over to his water bottle sadly. He took a gulp of the cold water,then another as he found himself thirsty. HD ended up quenching his thirst by finishing the water bottle,drinking every drop. He knew he had no family to worry about him,so he could really do anything tonight. Or any night. Maybe a walk in the forest. Oh..how his dog used to love the forest...

I tilt my head trying to get a better view of the person. I lean forward and I almost fall over. Giving a sheepish look at the girl running next to me I stand up and take my water bottle and throw my small towel over my left shoulder. Walking over I see that It was in fact Grant the person I saw and He looked beat. Something was obviously eating at him. "Hey Grant, didn't see you here. What are you doing here so early?" I ask.

Grant heard someone enter the gym,but what are the odds they would come over. He shrugged it off,but then heard footsteps followed by Ronans voice. He glanced up "I..." he sighed and let his head drop again "came to cool off some steam..." he finished with a low mumble. He drank the last water bottle he had brought and wiped his mouth on his sleeve,then hos forehead as he was still sweating a little. He glanced around the gym and saw a couple of more people enter the gym.

Sighing I lean my back against the wall he was leaning on, the cold surface sendin goose bumps over my body as it hits my bare back. "I heard something happen from Sam, she sent me a message she was heading over to you." I hesitate before I xonjnite not wanting to make him uncomfortable. "Do you want to talk about?"

"Its nothing really big...my dog died." Grant sighed. The only one who was there every day,always excited to see him. He blinked "I have his ashes though..and they let me keep his collar.." Grant added. He stretched out,his shirt soaked in sweat,so he pulled it off with a small huff and grunt. "What brought you here?" Grant asked,raising one eyebrow slightly as he glanced at Ronan.

MATTHEW
Matthew felt Emily take his hat, he shook his head and jumped out of the truck. He saw her running out in the feild, and ran over to her. He finally fought up to her, and hugged her. He knocked them to the ground smilling. "Caught you!" he said smirking. He kissed her softly then realized Mia was right there. Mia jumped off her horse, her eyes closed. 'Are you done yet Matt?' she asked. Matt smiled and stood back up helping Emily up. "I guess." he said joking. Mia shook her head, 'You two can Rangle up the youngns. We are almost to the summer range. Matthew smiled, "We can handle that." he said nodding. Mia jumped back on her horse and cantered back to the rear of the herd. His brothers were on the sides. Matthew looked back at Emily smilling.

"Not a big thing?" I look at Grant in disbelief. "That is not a small thing, I know he was the whole world to you Grant." I sigh and run my hand through my swear soaked hair leaving it in spikes. "That sucks." Sighing some more I cross my arms across my chest. "Anna and Sam slept over and Anna had some...problems with her family." I gave him a look like you know, "I thought id come here to let some steam off too."

Grant gave a slight nod. He sighed,thinking of something to do. "Welll.... I think......wait..I actually Don't think.." he mumbled,confusing himself already,he shook his head "I'm bored. And I'm depressed sitting here like a sweaty mop." He flung his hair around,some sweat flying off of it and he tried to smile. "So now what?" He asked Ronan with a shrug "Unless you want to have another up war....."

Emily giggled and kept his hat on her head. When they hit the ground it hurt sorta. She gently grabbed his hand and kissed his cheek." Sorry Mia..." She said. She looked at Matt and pinched his side playfully." Way to disgust her. I love you" she said. She gently kissed him then pulled away starting to walk towards the young cows. She smiled and glanced around before looking back at Matt. She blushed deeply happy she had him in her life.
