Amy awoke with a jolt. The dorm room was too quite for everyone else to have been sleeping. Amy hastily grabbed her phone to check the time. Gasping in horror, she quickly climbed out of her bed and scrambled down to the dining room. 'Where is everyone?' she thought. Amy rushed into the kitchen, grabbed a waffle, and head out the door to go towards the stables. The smell of horses overwhelmed her as she made her way towards Axel's stall, with a waffle in her mouth. "I'm so sorry, boy,"she managed to say with a mouthful of waffles. His halter was hanging on the stall door and she quickly grabbed it. "Lets bring you into the cross ties," she whispered, leading him by his halter. After clipping Axel up, Amy proceeded into the tack room and grabbed her bin of grooming supplies. There were loads of mane care items in it, since Amy took the time to wash Axel's mane and tail after every ride she had with him. The hoofpick was on top so Amy grabbed it first. She went to his first leg and asked him to pick it up. After multiple times trying, Amy slapped his side to get him to listen. "Honestly, I have one of the most difficult horses in this stables,"she said sighing. Once all of the hooves were picked, Amy grabbed her hoof polish and began to paint over his hooves. Amy picked her head up to see where everyone else was with their horses. It looked as if some of them were tacking up, but some people were still grooming. "Good, I'm not too far behind,"she said, picking up a brush.

Alice shrugged and finished combing out Glory's hair, "I don't know. Maybe keep in contact with his owner after we're done at the academy." She began massaging the mare's forehead, occasionally stoking her. "I mean we came here to improve our riding skills, not to breed our horses." Alice grabbed Glory's halter off a hook and slid it over her head, then tightened the buckle. She made a loop with the lead and grabbed it firmly under the ring. "I'm going to go brush off Glory and get her ready to ride. Are you coming with me?" Alice asked as she opened Glory's stall and led her out into the aisle. "I can wait for you." She began stroking her horse's neck as they stood.

Amy began to brush of Axel's legs when she heard Alice's voice. Something about going out to ride with someone else and such. Amy took the chance and calmly responded like she hadn't been listening to what they just said. "Hey, are you guys going out to ride?" she asked, looking up from Axel. Amy then went back to carefully grooming Axel's back, looking at her winged clipping she had made on him, waiting for Alice to respond. While waiting for Alice, she went behind Axel and began to french braid his tail, taking the time to make sure it was tight and straight. Friesian tails were quite long, as well as their mane, so she liked to put it into some type of braid to keep it from getting tangled too much while riding.

Alice looked over to Axel's stall as she heard Amy's voice. She nodded "Do you want to come too?" Alice grinned as Glory stamped her hoof impatiently then pushed Alice with her muzzle. She turned and held Glory's head in her arms while stroking her forehead,"Looks like someone is ready to ride." To keep the mare busy, Alice began walking slowly in tight circles leading Glory along. Occasionally she would walk in a figure 8 just to change it up as some form of loose entertainment.

"Sure, I'll go get Axel's tack,"she said, ducking under the cross ties and heading towards the tack room. Axel's tack was difficult to get to, if you were short, as it was on the top row of hooks where all of his things were kept. Amy grabbed the saddle and saddle pad and put it on her left arm, the bridle was flung over her right shoulder and his new bit was grasped in her right hand. She walked slowly towards the cross ties and set everything on the wooden beam. The saddle pad, a red and golden color, was always put higher up on his withers because Axel tended to keep his neck high and the saddle and pad would always slide down a little bit. She then grabbed the saddle and began to hook the girth. "Axel, quit sucking in a bunch of air"she snapped, tightening the girth more. "Must you be so difficult all the time?. The bridle came last, but Amy had to put in a new bit. While she was doing that, Axel began to nudge her with his head and knocked her into the wooden beam. Amy gave him a glare and then attached the bridle on. "I think I'm ready to go, Alice,"she said, leading Axel into the isle.

The young brown haired rider huffed and hummed as she watched the mare with her young one. She smiled as she watched the mare gobble up the four pieces of her carrot. She hurriedly said "No, I mean, not for breeding, just to introduce them and see if their friendly with each other!" She sighed as she slumped, dropping her head and shoulders. She shook her head as she raised it back up, smiling again as she looked at Alice. "Though, I wonder about after we DO leave..." Shaking her head, she asked "Should I bring Joey along as well? He does not like to be away from Sena for long."

Alice shook her head, "No, I would leave Joey here." She lead Glory over to the cross ties and latched the ties onto her halter. Alice grabbed a curry comb and began rubbing it against Glory's pelt in circular motions, loosening clods of dirt. Once she had gone over the mare's entire body, Alice retrieved a brush and swept it across Glory leaving clouds of dirt. Then she began picking her hooves, which went fairly quickly. Alice walked to the tack room and lifted her saddle onto her left arm, slung her bridle over it, then gripped her saddle pad and girth with her right. She trudged back to the cross ties and slung the tack on the beam. Then Alice placed the saddle pad and saddle on Glory' s withers, then attached the girth and tightened it. Next she undid the halter and moved it from her head to her neck, allowing Alice to put on the bridle. She took of the bridle completely and grabbed Glory's reins. "Me too, let go." As Alice began walking Glory began nibbling her hair. Pulling it out of her mouth, she scrunched up her face as she looked at her spit-filled hair. "Eeww horse slobber hair! Oh well, I have to shower anyways." Alice shrugged and returned her attention to leading the mare to the indoor jumping arena #1.

He shrugged, his mood dropping as the hope she didn't have a reason to join him was dropped. He shook her hand, quickly; before awkwardly returning it to his side.
Had she simply taken pity on him? He didn't want any pity! He was desperate to remove those thoughts from his head, as he stared at him feet. Her name... Had she just said her name? Was it Cat? Why would he tune out during the most vital scenes...? He nodded towards her, giving a reluctant smile. He had been kind meeting her, yet after his quick assumption that she had pitied him, he was quick to try and build up his image.
"My name is Charlie." He said sharply, forcing his usual higher voice to crack, pushing it into the deeper zone... Though the little crackle in his tone wasn't helping prove anything. Now, it was obvious he didn't want to seem like a loner, or some what of an idiot- yet he was just digging a deeper hole.

Cataleya smiled, dropping her hand back onto the table after he shook it. "I was going to go work on some jumping with my horse Irish Storm. Do you want to come with me?" She asked. "You don't have to if you don't want to of course. I just like company when I ride. It's more fun to ride with other people I guess. Stormy likes it too. He's more of a follower so it's not fun for him to be alone." She rambled. Rambling was something she often did when she was nervous. She bit her bottom lip softly as she waited for his reply.

"Okay, no problem." came Hunter's reply. She shoved her hands into the pocket of her black sweatshirt, waiting next to her horses and staring at the cream colored fur on her jodhpurs. The sound of clicking hooves and stall doors opening and closing altered Hunter of Savannah's whereabouts. Soon, the girl reappeared, greeted with a smile. Hunter gave a chuckle after hearing the rider's comment. "Yeah, I know how that can be. My stallion Fura is a complete freeloader." she smiled.
They reached the Dinning hall quite quickly, being egged on by rumbling stomachs. When Hunter entered the first thing the blonde did was head straight for the waffles. Throwing on a waffle, eggs, bacon, and a fruit bowl. Pouring a glass of milk to go with it. She gave Savannah a goofy smile, glancing down at her plate. "What? I eat a lot okay." Hunter said.

"I didn't mean too. I went to pick Kingsman hooves, then boom! I wake up with a face full of horse snot. He sneezed to wake me up." Eric retorted with a smile. Upon Jason's request, the young man happily obliged. "Yeah I'll join you. Why not?" he replied. He picked a mostly empty table, setting down his filled plates and glass of orange juice.

Amy laughed a little once Alice realized her horse slobbered on her. Axel never slobbered, but he sure was stubborn about everything. Amy followed Alice to the Jumping Arena, with Axel following behind, when her horse began to quicken his pace. Amy gave him a firm touch to the shoulders and got him under control again. "Honestly, do you purposely mess with me? She said to him, pushing his face away from hers as he tried to knock into her head. "You better be on your best behavior while jumping ,go it?" she said, trying to sound like the boss of him. Amy checked behind her to see that Willow was following. While looking back she noticed that Axel had attempted to undue the braid she had done on his tail by rubbing it against the wall of the cross ties. Amy looked forward again and shook her head. She had the most stubborn and devious horse, and was sick of him messing with her. "I should just turn around and get Lucifer instead, but I can't because you need to practice jumping for any upcoming shows we have," she whispered, glaring at Axel.
