Venus gave the slightest nod, confirming his suspicions. "So it was the flames you were afraid of.." He said allowed. "Well, I'm actually pert Phoenix to be honest." He admitted to her, still unsure why he was telling her all these things and being so open. "And my name is Venus." He said in response to her telling him her name. "There really is nothing to be afraid of though. I am relatively harmless unless you try to attack me. See, even the flames won't hurt you right now." He said, stretching out one wing towards her. The thin vale of flames was indeed pretty warm but completely harmless. He wondered how she would react to his actions. Hopefully she wouldn't react badly. The more he thought about it the better it seemed to have an ally, especially one that was most likely a natural hybrid like himself. Naturals are a lot stronger than experiments, so they could be a pretty good team together.

It felt off- once he turned, he didn't lunge and attack immediately. "What are you waiting for?" I muttered harshly under my breath. Why was he waiting? Something was odd here. I wasn't getting any weaker standing here. There was nothing that he should be waiting on- with all the previous captures, the hybrid had always been go go go, get the hybrid and return ASAP, but why the hesitation?
A frustrated hiss rushed through my teeth. I wasn't gathering any extravagant data from this. My heart jumped again as his hands began to crackle, the- admittedly soothing- smell of ozone filling the air. I swallowed hard, teeth clenching, and began to back away as he dropped into a fighting stance. His stare was spooking me. My arms were beginning to quiver, for whatever reason I didn't care to question.
He's waiting for something! But what?! A trap to trigger? For some ability to charge up? For an accomplice? I decided I would rather not stay like a sitting duck. I began sidestepping, not turning and releasing my stare, and moved away. As quickly as possible without causing a trigger. I hoped.

Rendan smiled a genuine smile when he told her his name. When he stretched out his wing, she flinched back in fear. After a second, though, she stepped forward again, reaching out her hand to touch it. She then stopped again and turned to look at his face. " Will it... hurt to touch them...? Or... Er... May I touch them...?" She tilted her head slightly, her own wings shifting on her back as if in suspense.

Venus watched her reaction and almost let out a sigh until she stepped forward again. A smile threatened to pop up on his face but he held it back. He gave a small shrug. "Go ahead, it won't hurt." He responded and watched her closely. As long as she wasn't planning on trying something he was fine with it. He wondered what was going through her mind right now, but wasn't planning on asking. He was planning on asking her why she was so affraid of the fire though, and confirm that she does indeed have the DNA of a dragon in her. If so then the fire should hurt her, should it? So many questions he wanted answered yet so little time, in his mind anyway. As he let her touch his wings, he looked around to make sure no one else was nearby. Or to be more precise to make sure no threats were nearby.

Tyler was getting very frustrated at himself, his situation, his hunger, his cold-blooded ness, everything. Groaning, he hunched over and stared at the ground. He wasn't warming up as quickly now because most of the heat from the rock had already been drained into his body. "Maybe I should go look for ano-" He stopped, hearing strange noises not far away. After a few moments curiosity, and the need to get up and move around, got the better of him. He followed the noises, then hid in some bushes as he watched the scene in front of him. Another hybrid seemed to be about to fight what looked like a cyborg. He stayed crouched down in the bushes, watching with interest.

Rendan smiled nervously, then looked back at his wings. " They're so beautiful... I wish I had a sketchbook right now..." She sighed, then got closer to the wing. She cautiously put one hand on his wing, then the other. Her face brightened up when she realized something, and she started softly stroking his wings. A low purring sound started coming from her throat.

T1 watched as the girl began to step away, but he didn't make a move. His eyes never left her's, and his hands kept sparking. According to his calculations, his backup would be here in 3, 2, 1...

At that moment, T2 crashed through the underbrush and wrapped his arms around the girl. He was broader than T1, his arms easily hugging the girl's smaller frame in a not-so-comforting bear hug. Up close, the sound of the servos in his cybernetic arms whirring was audible as he tightened his grip. He could easily have crushed the girl, but he clearly had orders to bring her in alive.

T1 moved forward while T2 held her, his tasers drawing closer to subdue the subject.

(I hope that wasn't too godmoddy :/ I don't know if having T2 grab her counts as autohitting or not)
