As the class slowly moved on, the clock in the back of the room moving its hands faithfully, Kaoru started to question the desire he had earlier to dutifully write down every little "important" detail. He could remember most of this, right? Although, even with his doubts, he continued to put down little snippets of critical facts. He caught a soft smile and a slight inclination of her head from Hinata, signaling that she would go along with Daiki's plan. Although, taking a look at the way she was holding his note under her desk, she was truly nervous about getting caught note passing. It was a bit amusing, he thought, not that he would ever laugh at something that was an actual cause of worry. It was just sort of endearing how much she cared about being a good student; in fact, he probably would have reconsidered passing notes around if it had been anyone but Daiki who had given it to him. He doubted that the star student would do something he really shouldn't be in his favorite class, so apparently note exchanges weren't a major offense or anything like that in this class. It was nice to know that their teachers were a bit lax with this kind of stuff, to make up for all the above average skill work they had to do, he supposed. Heck, he even saw Kameko dozing off out of the corner of his eye at some point! He was tempted, for a moment, to contemplate joining the artist, but he would probably fall asleep later on a subject that interested him less anyway. A brief nap at some point in the day looked like it was inevitable.

Hearing the loud shriek of the bell, Kaoru shut his notebook and replaced it within the contents of his bookbag, reaching back up to put his pen away as well. The class hadn't been that bad, honestly, or at least nothing like the monotone lecture he had been imagining. The teacher really seemed animated and interested in what they were talking about, and he had always liked people who taught like that. With that positive note, he snatched his backpack and secured it once more on his person, this time actually using both of his shoulders to support its weight. It was then that Akira chose to stride over to him, and he didn't miss the knowing look she tossed Hinata before addressing him. So, he really wasn't the only one noticing all the looks Daiki had been giving her since they first meet? I shoulder have known that one of his actual friends would have been aware of it, if I of all people was, he thought, zoning out a bit and missing the first few words that the silver eyed girl in front of him said. Luckily, he tuned back in to get the gist of what she was asking, and took a second to think it over."I think I'd like to drop off my stuff and take a look around the dorms first, if it's really alright with you. Thanks, Akira." Well, it sounded genuine enough to his ears, anyway. Maybe he shouldn't have said thank you, though? He wasn't sure if the girl expected him to give a natural answer, or if she just wanted to get him to reply in a short, chipped manner to get their conversation over with. Jeez, for someone so blunt, he couldn't believe he was puzzling himself so much trying to figure out how to act around her.

He merely nodded at Daiki as he mentioned that he and Akira would be going out to get the groceries while everyone else got the new students' rooms set up. Being on the second floor sounded pretty cool, if he did say so himself. Hopefully his keyboard would be safely relocated within his new living quarters; he wasn't too worried about his trusty flute, which was protected within its case. If anything, the acoustic guitar and violin made him fret the most of all. String instruments were very delicate things, cases or not. Those were the four musical pieces he had brought with him, as they were the ones he found most enjoyable. But, they were all provided in the music room of the school anyway... Was it considered selfish to bring his own? Was he even allowed to keep them in his room? Oh God, he was going to keep everyone up at night, he was sure of it. I'm going to make them all hate me because of all the stuff I brought, aren't I?

The dark-haired girl blinked a few times as she stepped outside the school building, waiting for a moment to let the rest of the Sakura students come out from the entrance lobby of the school. She would have to go and get groceries with Kaoru now - while the other guys went and set up the dorm to accommodate the newcomers. Hopefully, Daiki wouldn't give them a tour of all the rooms. Hers was a dark cavern filled with technology and wires - it was pretty much a computer room with a bed and closet attached. At this point in time, she had a total of 6 monitors, not including the smaller one she used beside her bed, another one that was hooked up inside her closet, or the multiple mini monitors for camera surveillance. She had a camera placed outside the girls bathroom to watch for male intruders, one outside the entrance, and another outside her room. Akira was quite meticulous about intruders. Just another one of her odd quirks. Either way, they would all see that sooner or later. It was a miracle she survived the amount of computer generated radiation she was exposed to each that. Turning back, she noticed that sakura blossoms had started fall again - something that was unique to Kanazawa. "Kaoru, let's go on ahead first while the others get their lives sorted out." It was a joke, but there were some truthful elements to it. Despite their combined intelligence, life could be uncertain. Not that she cared about it - not now, anyway. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she walked down the hill leading to Azuba, tossing a You coming? look over her shoulder at Kaoru. "It's good that we have to go back to the dorm - I need to pick up some money as well. The walk is about 10 minutes long." She smiled at him a bit, trying to be friendlier. Daiki's nagging about being open and friendly got tiring extremely quickly.

Daiki exited the school day with the same cheerfulness he had when he went into it. Except he had more reason to be happy because the new students were going to be introduced to their residence - Sakura Dorm. At first glance it was a bit simple; wooden in some places and concrete in the others, Japanese at first glance. But the interior wood had been polished and despite being worn from so much treading upon the boards, it was homely and clean. Meticulously well cared for and fresh, it was a very pleasant place to live. There was a koi pond in the back garden, a public pool and the grocery store nearby, and the aquarium he wanted to take them to was going to be a 15 minute bike ride away. Oh, that reminded him! "Are you guys going to have your stuff driven over?" How on earth would they be able to set up their individual rooms without necessities like clothes and other essential things? Maybe he could arrange a way to have all of their things driven over in a moving truck to save energy and effort. "Well, we'll sort it out when we get to the Dorm." He smiled at all of them and started to walk - Akira was already 20 meters ahead.

It was the end of the first school day. Hinata was a bit confused it was over so quickly, she must have enjoyed it more than she expected. She had spent most of the classes with either Kaoru or Daiki, who were both very kind to her. And now, they were heading to Sakura Dorm! Finally, she couldn't wait to see what it was like! Then, Daiki asked if everyone planned to have their stuff driven over to Sakura Dorm. Hinata remembered the promise she made with her parents; if she passed her entrance exam, they had no doubt she would, they would bring all her stuff to the dorm a couple hours after her school day ended. Yesterday, she spent the entire day packaging, trying to keep the amount of books she would bring with her to a minimum, however, she still ended up with three boxes full of books. Not to forget the large box she filled with things she used for chemistry experiments, her lab coat and some safety glasses. Of course, she packed other stuff like clothes as well, but not as much. Hinata remembered she was actually supposed to call her parents if she passed or not, but she entirely forgot... But they must have assumed she passed since she didn't came back home, right? To be sure, Hinata decided to text them. She grabbed her phone out of her bag and sent the following message to her mom's phone: 'Hello mom and dad! I passed!! First day was great! I will wait for you at Sakura Dorm! Love, Hinata'. When she was done texting, she put her phone in her pocket and followed Daiki and the rest of the group towards Sakura Dorm.

Finally leaving the school, the Sakura Dorm students made it to the point of grouping together, as always, Kaede, Daiki, and Kameko were in charge of showing around the students of the new dorms, which gave Kaede some time to get to know Hinata, because she'd be showing her the girl dorms. Speaking of girl dorms, it gave Kaede an idea to set up a trap in Akira's room which made her chuckle at her thoughts. Humming deeply to herself, she seemed a bit at peace while walking, joyful. Wake and sane and open to a day of new beginnings and new people, really comforting. The silence then turned an eerie silence when they passed all of those who talked around them, and Kaede could've broke the silence with a dumb joke about the silence that would just not work. She was very thankful for the writer to speak up, yet she was a bit taken back by the quiet boy suddenly bringing up a conversation. "I'd say late 1800 to early mid 1900, Wright Brothers." The invention of flight was very interesting to Kaede and it was always a goal for her to create aerodynamic objects, so far she was working on minimal objects and making common everyday things easier. They then led her train of thought to go back to pranking Akira, ink under the keyboard? The inventor chuckled to herself once more about the hacker's reaction.

Happy they could leave as quickly as they could, he trailed with the others towards the Sakura Dorms. Miki was very ecstatic to get his own room, and to wake up everyday to talk to others like him, it really seemed perfect, in the light. There was several other things he'd ponder in his head, if it wasn't for catching him before bumping into Kameko again. They, besides Akira and Kaoru, the whole rest of them seemingly stayed in a compact group, lead by Daiki, seemingly. Once again the blossom from the trees fell gracefully from the particularly soft winds, Miki shrugged it off and kept looking around during they're small walk to the Sakura Dorms. He had his mechanical pencil in his hand and hit it against his leg to a invisible beat, a bit bored. When Daiki mentioned how they should probably find some way to transport their things, Miki was about to speak up before felling a extremely lazy sense of talking, just looking like he opened his mouth, escaped a pint of breath just to close it again silently. After a bit of more time went by, he found it exemplary that questions were necessary around this time, something to get to know the people around him, an Icebreaker, "If you could live in any time period, in any culture, which period would you choose?" He knew his sudden disposition of those who thought of him as shy, yet it was just him getting used to things, pairs of eyes didn't help.

The boy tilted his head in thought. Should he leave the rest of Sakura Dorm as a surprise to the new students or educate them on little things like the kitchen, mealtimes, internet, stuff like that? Eh, couldn't harm them. They were going to know what conditions they were going to live in for the next three years of their highschool life anyways. He looked back at Miki, smiling at the fact the "quiet writer" had asked a question. He really really hoped they would all grow closer in time. "Anytime really - but I mean, the Renaissance period would probably be my first choice. What about you?" He asked Hinata, carrying on the question. Geez, she was pretty. Blinking his green eyes he held his hand out, letting the dappled shadows from the cherry trees run over his fingers. They were about halfway there now, and he hoped the new students would be impressed with the stunning scenery that surrounded the area. He really loved living here. Daiki squinted, looking for the Dorm building in the distance. He spotted it after a minute of walking, and let a joyful hop work its way into his walk. "The dorm is right there!" he grinned at the rest of them (not Kameko or Kaede, obviously), but for the newer students, he did the liberty of pointing it out. "It's that brown and white building over there. I'm excited for you guys to see it!" Akira and Kaoru were still ahead of them, and would probably have left for the grocery store once the rest of them had arrived. "You know, I'll see if we can pull some strings and get you guys to have your luggage driven over here. Kaede over here is pretty good at making stern-woman voice impersonations," he winked and nudged Kaede. He checked his phone for any updates or incoming texts. Ah!
He spun around and held his phone out to the others. "Apparently there's a late arrival who missed out on today's school day," he told them, his eyes widening. "A dancer that goes by the name of Hayden. Foreign parents maybe?" He shrugged and continued on. "She'll be arriving later today."

    Guuuuysss I have news. ^^
silentVacancy has filled the dancer spot, so she'll be treated as a late arrival at Sakura Dorm due to previous complications. It'll be more interesting anyways!

The dancer will arrive directly at Sakura during the same day we are currently on - at night.

xxxxxHayden Fleischer gripped her palms, looking out of the window as a few shops and stores sailed past. She glanced up to her parents, sighing a bit. All three of them were born and raised in Germany, yet when Hayden finished up Primary school they had moved to Kanazawa. The town was very pretty, but Hayden still missed the home she grew up in.

Her eyes dropped to her lap, her frowning some. She wasn't sure if she was ready for this place just yet. What would other people say? She was a late arrival - would people accuse her or her parents of being irresponsible? She silently hoped and prayed not, Just wanting to be able to fit in in for once at this school. Would the students here give her a chance? Or would they just deem her as just another new fish? Her thoughts were overwhelming her, and her mother seemed to notice, for she looked back to Hayden, offering a beautiful smile at her.

Her mother was her idol, everything Hayden wished she could be. Yvonne Fleischer, the woman with the gorgeous voice and stunning features. Hayden had always wondered how she'd gotten so lucky in the gamble with puberty. Hayden wasn't much to look at herself, in her own opinion. Just another girl who loved to dance, nothing special.

Hayden smiled back at her mother, however, pulling one of her bags onto her lap and shifting. They were almost there, and Hayden was fidgeting even more. She was very nervous as to what the dorm and school held for her. She tried keeping most of in, so that her parents would worry about her transition. The girl nearly bolted out of the car when it was parked, dragging her things out of the back seat, not waiting for her parents to get out and help her. Once her mother got out, however, she went over to hug her. Hayden and her father weren't very close, him only getting a hug that lasted a few seconds. Her father frowned but didn't seem to bother arguing. She grabbed her things, smiling some at them before heading off without looking back.

She'd gotten a phone call earlier that day, informing her that she'd passed and was accepted into the high school. Hayden hadn't quite gotten used to the whole "it's Monday, it's no longer summer, you have to get up" thing just yet. Her mind had protested so heavily against her getting up even as late as she did - one in the afternoon. Hayden had also forgotten about school until she got the call. Her parents eventually remembered, driving her over here as quickly as they could. She shook her head, frowning some as she stood in the lot of the dorm. Her gaze traveled up the building slowly, Hayden rubbing her arm and moving her hair away from her eyes. She had no idea where to go now.

In the distance she saw a group of people around and above her age, slight hope sparking but then someone fading. Maybe she could ask them about the dorm? They seemed to be headed in this direction anyways. They probably knew much more than she did. Hayden furrowed her eyebrows but then let her expression relax, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

Kaoru signed contently as he at last made his way past the doors he had first walked into earlier this morning with the rest of the Sakura students, taking a deep inhale of the fresh air that was littered with gently falling sakura blossoms. Their last class had been music, something that really left his first day at Azuba High School off on a high note, if it was up to him to judge. Sure, it had only been a basic introduction of the musical scale and corresponding note names, but it was a good way to start the unit, and, as they were of course Sakura students, included learning both the treble and base clefs. Next time was supposed to be a history lesson on the Three B's" of music: Bach, Brahms, and Beethoven. As he had been packing up for the last time that day, the teen distinctly remembered smiling when he left the classroom, thinking about when they would get to the more complicated subjects such as cadences and inversions. Before he could go back to such daydreams, though, he turned his attention to Akira the moment he heard her open her mouth and begin speaking. There was no way he would repeat the mistake he had made in their first class and accidentally zone out of what she was attempting to tell him, because it had been embarrassing enough the first time, even though he was relived that she didn't catch it when it had happened. The sheer fact that it had occurred was something that both bothered him yet was expected; he just couldn't keep up with his surroundings at times. "Yeah, sure," he responded, not saying much but smiling brightly nonetheless at the little crack she made. Finally, something he was sure he was supposed to take lightly!

Taking one more moment to admire the graceful pink petals swimming around them in the air, Kaoura saw the look that the other brunette threw at him over her shoulder and made a brief scurry to catch up, giving a wave back at the other students as he caught up to and walked in step with Akira. "Oh, wow, really? That's not long at all! I was honestly expecting something a bit more tedious, not that I'll ever complain about convenience," he commented, returning Akira's tiny smile with another one of his own, albeit smaller and shyer than the ones he had displayed on his face earlier. It was one thing when he was the one doing the smiling; how was he supposed to react when he was the one being smiled at? It had been easy with Hinata in the time they had shared together... He seriously needed to find out how to figure out this girl. If there was one trait that he disliked about himself, it was his ability to just tune out of basically everything around him. Mostly because it wasn't intentional in the least. He absolutely hated not keeping up with all of the stuff going on in his environment, and he was sensing that right now, he was the only one who couldn't keep up with Akira. She was so straightforward all the time, so how did his brain mix up and puzzle everything so badly? Yet I'm still good enough to be in the Sakura Dorm program. For now, he would just walk in silence with the hacker to the dorms to make a quick visit to look around, and get the money necessary for the groceries. In the meantime, he continued to marvel at the beauty of the sakura trees shedding their dancing petals. The peacefulness of it all reminded him of a quite a few songs...
