Beinethiel gasped. The force of the first arrow almost knocked her off of her feet. The second arrow straight into her chest completely brought her to the ground with surprise. Groaning, the she-elf rolled over in pain clutching the arrow in her chest. Noticing that the man whom shot her was coming over to finish her off, Bay curled her hand into a tight fist and punched him squarely in the jaw before passing out into miserable darkness. She could slightly feel him carrying her towards the end of the battle and into the woods. Her mind traveled to the worse that could happen with her and a man in the woods alone. Being set back down was the worst feeling in the world. It was sickening quite frankly. As she felt the ground beneath her she soon became aware of her surroundings and the man who had shot her twice still nearby. Her breaths came in rapid heavy spouts and tensed her body up.

When Beinethiel came back to her wits she found the soldier hovering closely over her, inspecting her wounds. Quickly she pushed him feebly away with both hands on his chest and tried to scramble away from him. Her bow rested a few feet away with the quiver of arrows. Glancing at him before making a weak lunge towards the weapon she grasped the bow and notched an arrow and aimed it at him before her shaking hands got out of control and caused her to messily release the white arrow and watch it soar past him a long way off. After she stopped her hands from shaking she clenched her jaw in pain as she hardly got the next arrow notched into the bow. "Don't come near me." She aimed the weapon steadily and surely at him with a stern expression on her features.

"The general is dead...This can't be."

New around a battle field travels fast, especially when it is bad news. I heard the others yelling back and forth about the general being dead. I looked up from the man I had just killed his blood splattered on my face and I tried to spot where she had to be. I saw her horse running around panicked but nothing else. I turned around and I was angry. She was dead, this wasn't supposed to happen. I was confused and angry. How had this happened? How had she died? I usually wasn't one to mourn others but this was terrible. Not just the general dying was terrible though. We were being defeated, our boundaries were being thrown back and with her dead I was now the new general. Every soldier in the army of Istoth was going to be looking towards me for instructions. "This battle isn't over yet! Just keep fighting!" I yelled at the soldiers. I wouldn't allow this battle to end, no matter how bloody things got I knew what I had to do.

I ran through the army of fighting Istoth and Seulghem soldiers. It was bloody and I was pretty sure I hadn't been through much worse. I slithered through gracefully making my way until I was at the back of the army. Most generals would be disgraced by doing this but I knew what I had to do. I was going to have to turn into my dragon form, fight my way. I looked around and frowned as I saw us loosing. Turning into a dragon might be our only chance at winning the battle. I would also be giving away one of the greatest weapons yet. I looked at the few straggler soldiers who where staring at me, the new leader. I nodded and they nodded in return not saying anything. I was a person of a lot of words but not now. I looked from left to right before feeling that odd pricking pain as I began to morph into the monster I was.

After a few minutes off an odd pain and tingling feeling I was a huge dark black dragon with dark red eyes scanning the crowd of soldiers before me. I knew where my unprotected parts were and I made sure to stay on all fours. I decided instead of throwing fire into the mist of soldiers... My soldiers I would have to burn some trees, scare of the Seulghem soldiers. I roared loudly before allowing a fountain of fire out of my mouth burning all of the trees that surrounded the plain. There weren't many trees but it defiantly started a chain reaction. I expected a forest fire. I roared again and just hoped the Seulghem were scared enough that I wouldn't have to start really attacking.

WHY ARE THE TREES ON FIRE?!
format © vita.anima
Leonidas was carrying the female elf to safety when she punched him squarely in the jaw. Oww... Leonidas thought to himself, his face throbbing. It was nothing compared to what he had done to the elf, though. I probably deserved that, he reasoned, setting the elf down behind some trees. He reached forward, about to try and remove the arrows as carefully as possible, when the female elf seemed to shake the pain off and come back to her senses. Leonidas found himself being pushed away by the injured elf, which wasn't good. Leo may have almost killed her, but now he was trying to help. Couldn't she see that? But, of course, all she knew was that he had shot her twice, an arrow to the shoulder and an arrow to the chest, so that probably explained her hatred, not to mention the fact that they were from enemy kingdoms. So it was only logical for the elf to be cautious of Leonidas. Still, that wasn't going to stop the stubborn soldier from backing off, not even when she shot at him with her bow.
Leonidas made no move to remove her weapon. He probably deserved a shot or two in return after hurting the elf. She was in no condition to fight, and would most likely lose her strength soon again. The arrow missed by a mile, and Leonidas wasn't worried. Cautious and hesitant, but not worried. His main concern was to stop the bleeding, and get those arrows out of her so she could properly move again.
Leonidas attempted to get closer to her when the elf notched another arrow, this time with sure, steady hands. Now he was scared. She seemed to be in control of herself now again, despite the agony she must be going through.
When the elf commanded Leo to stay away, he obeyed, only to keep from getting shot, and to keep the elf as calm as possible. "I'm not your enemy," he said a bit awkwardly, but quickly fixed his mistake. "Wait, that was dumb of me. Yes, we are enemies, and yes, I did nearly kill you, but I'm not going to hurt you now. I'm not asking you to trust me, or to let me go unscatched after what I did to you. I'm asking you to let me help you. I don't... I don't want you to die," Leonidas admitted honestly, stuttering a little bit at the end, unsure of his words.
Leonidas opened his mouth to say something more when he felt a humongous blast of heat surround him. An unintelligible string of curses ran from his mouth when he saw fire, fire all around him in the forest. What the hell? Leonidas looked around, panicking as he discovered the trees were on fire. The sparse woods around the plains of the battlefield were alight, from what, he didn't know, and didn't really want to find out. All he knew was that if they didn't move fast, both the man and the elf would be burned alive in the forest fire.
"Look, we have to go, now! Shoot me now or shoot me later, but you have to get yourself out of here!" Leonidas urged, blue-green eyes widening for emphasis. To further convince her of his unwillingness to hurt her, Leonidas removed all his weapons, his bow and quiver, his sword and shield, and even the dagger he kept hidden underneath his armor, tossing them all to the ground in front of the female elf. "Can you walk? I'll carry you, if you want," Leo asked the elf, making sure to keep his voice level and polite, his gaze careful and measured.

Battle Field

Alone

No Crush
Elizabeth had managed so far without any wounds of any kind, small or large. Of course there was bruising, but that was to be expected if you were bashing around with men in metal with no armor on. The girl was rather quick on her feet, very keen, very sharp, and very aware. This was her kind of world; surviving. Of course she has weaknesses, but she never dares to let them show.

After taking down what seemed to be her millionth Seulghem soldier, her eyes were drawn to some horsemen. One in particular caught her eye, for he was heading right her way (Alvere). A stone cold expression that had taken over her when the battle began still rested upon her face. Wriggling her fingers around on her sword handle too loosen them up, she waited for her next opponent to arrive. Perhaps I'll take his horse and take my leave, she thought, figuring she had well wore out her welcome here.

Beinethiel slowly un-notched the arrow from the bow. A undecided look danced across her face as she debated on whether to let him help her or to try to run from him. Clenching her jaw she weakly gathered her bow and slung it across her bleeding back with ease, the quiver full of arrows following, draped around her left shoulder. "I can walk by myself." The trees on fire was the first sign of Ryder in her dragon form which brought a smug smile onto her face. Bay rubbed her forehead and stumbled to a tree, then the next, then the next. Catching herself on each tree was quite painful and even though she had a calm expression she was literally shaking and terrified for her life on the inside. Beinethiel gasped aloud when one of the arrows hit the tree and she fell to her knee's, the pain over taking her.

A pond lay ahead, just a few more couple hundred feet away. She would be safe there. Looking back, she noticed the man was still following her. "I'm fine." Beinethiel growled in pain and stumbled to get back to her feet. She was a strong women and wouldn't let a man take her down that easy. The blood was getting heavier since she was breathing hard and kept walking. Finally she inhaled sharply, falling to the ground first to her knees to break the fall and then to her side so the arrows wouldn't go farther into her body. Sitting up against a oak tree near the water she took the hand that did not have the arrow in the shoulder and grasped the arrow in her right shoulder. Bay quickly ripped the black arrow from her flesh, blood poured out of the wound. She felt dizzy and sick, soon passing out into cold darkness.

Name:
Lady Min Rowanaway
Alias:
Min
Age:
20
Gender:
female
Height:
5' 5"
Weight:
127 lbs
Species:
Shapeshifter
Relationship Status:
single
Rank:
Emissary to Seulghem and Istoth (currently staying in Seulghem)

Personality:
Min is a happy-go-lucky character. She loves people, and is often prone to having no personal space whatsoever. It's not that she doesn't respect your personal bubble, she just chooses to ignore it because that's how she was raised. She can act flirtatious and bubbly, but it's mostly fluff. If she was interested in you, you'd know. She would treat you like you are the coolest person in the world. Min has a quiet side, but it doesn't come out much. If you finally get her to sober up, you'll find a sensitive girl who cares for her friends. She just had weird ways of showing it. So, all in all, Min's a quirky young lady with no personal space, lots of personality, and a heart bigger than most.

Appearance:
Min has intense green eyes, a small mouth, and a button nose. Her skin is naturally pale, but years in the sun have given it a slight tan. She has smatterings of freckles across her cheeks, nose and shoulders, adding some color. Her thick, bright red hair changes from wavy to curly depending on the weather. She cuts it by her jawline to keep it off her neck, and Min has dimples on both sides of her mouth when she smiles, something she loves about herself. Min has a lean, wiry build, more suited to climbing trees and mountains than wearing metal armor and using a long sword. Her feet are narrow, but callused from walking barefoot everywhere, and her hands are scarred across the knuckles and palms.
Min is usually found wearing clothes more suited to the tropical climate of her home, but the cold doesn't bother her. She wears multicolored skirts with many layers and patterns (stereotypical gypsy skirts), and no shoes, much to the irritation of the Seulghem Royals and Aristocrats. Even worse, her tops barely qualify as tops! (In their opinion) Min likes to wear form-fitting, brown, sleeveless shirts that leave at least a wrist-width of skin bare on her stomach. In all honesty, MIn doesn't hate the clothes typically worn in Seulghem, but it's fun for her to shock the people she meets. When in court, Min will wear doezens of bracelets up and down her arms. On her island, they are a part of traditional formal wear.
Min shape shifts into a black panther with green eyes.

History:
Min grew up on Tarrawan, a medium-sized group of Islands off the southern coast*, where everything is much more laid back and loose than the mainland countries of Istoth and Seulghem. Min is called Lady due to her role as trading emissary and emergency mercenary to both Istoth and Seulghem. Although her past is relatively boring, she spent a number of years training in self defense, and it wasn't hard to flip her moves to offensive. Min can fight, but she prefers to negotiate before drawn to violence. Her tribe leader -who could be considered ruler of Tarrawan- suggested she work as a trade emissary for Tarrawan by sailing to Istoth and Seulghem, where she could negotiate deals for her islands. She focuses mainly in the business of weapons and armor trade, as Tarrawan is rich in iron and other precious metals. Min enjoys the excitement of the war, since she holds a realatively safe position. After all, killing your main weapon supplier is generally frowned upon.

Likes:
Min has a passion for food. She'll try anything. She loves games as well, and sparring for fun. Along with sparring, she has a passion for the history and design of weapons across the world. If she'd been built with more muscles, Min would have opted for work at a smithy. As things are, she enjoys designing weapons. In fact, most of the recent weapons and armor created for the royals and aristocrats are custom designs by Min. Her best friend on Tarraway, Belail, is a master blacksmith, and they make an excellent team.

Dislikes:
Bullies, solitary confinement, etc. Min can't stand a bully. She won't hesitate to put them in their place with a well placed smack. Min isn't a social butterfly, and she enjoys her alone time, but don't expect her to act normal after weeks with no one to talk too.

Weapons and Armour:
Min knows the basics of man weapon styles, but she is masterful with her twin half-moon blades. Not commonly used in either Istoth or Seulghem, half-moon blades are a traditional weapon in Tarraway, and are used mainly for ceremonial purposes. However, there are many master half-moon blade wielders on Tarraway, and Min has learned from the best. As for armor, it really isn't Min's style, although she can design beautiful pieces. If Min is fighting in an official battle, she will forgo her cropped shirts and layered skirts for more practical trousers and shirts.

*I'm a northern hemisphere snob, so I associate warmth with the equator, which is south for me. Apologies for you in the southern hemisphere.

Does this work? I couldn't find a picture of Min's human form, so I opted for a description instead :)

Okay...not sure what happened here...apologies for the essay! xP

Aeron had frozen where he stood, his arm still mid-swing. The blood in his ears was thumping so loud it sounded like arrows were ricocheting around the inside of his helmet. It was obvious nobody knew the Princess was here, on the battlefeild. If she was leading the army, Aeron would have expected her to be decked to the back-teeth in gold-plate like himself. You're the scumbag prince of Seulghem, whose head is a bit too inflated for your own good! This accusation cut through his thoughts, bringing him back into reality. Aeron's smirk returned and he lowered Widowmaker, shrugging slightly. He couldn't deny the truth. He watched as the Princess spat at his feet, and he shrivelled his nose slightly in digust, "How very lady-like of you..." he murmured under his breath.

W-what are you w-waiting for, Prince Aeron? Aren't you going to kill me yet?. Aeron frowned slightly. Killing her would be a grave mistake. If the beloved Princess of Istoth was found to be murdered, it would renew the war afresh for centuries to come. No. Aeron would not let that happen. Ideally, Istoth would surrender to Seulghem, and Aeron could claim their lands as his own. Suddenly, a plan formulated in his head and he narrowed his eyes slightly; taking in the woman infront of him. The answer to the war had been delivered to him on a platter; the perfect hostage.

Without warning, the Princess stumbled forward, crumbling and collapsing at his feet. It was only then that he realised how badly injured she was. Aeron cursed, all traces of arrogance erased from his features. Hastily he looked around and sheathed Widowmaker. The battle had spread out over a larger area by now, localised to small groups of battling soldiers. Plenty of corpses surrounded him, but there was no immediate danger from the living. Aeron awkwardly knelt down in his armour, retrieving the Princess's helmet and placing it back on her head. She was out cold, yet still alive; and for now at least, he'd prefer that any onlooking Istoth army were unaware of her true identity.

Aeron stood up again, glancing back to the very edge of the battlefield. Far away from the fighting, across the flatlands, the Seulghem medics had set up some small cloth tents. They would house the wounded - and the hostages. He glanced down at the Princess. She was both. Aeron balled his fists in annoyance; why did he pick such an inexperienced horse for such a battle. There was little way he could carry her over there without being mobbed - besides he was unsure how wounded she actually was. The sound of nearing hooves caused him to whip his head up. Trotting over the corpses was a bay courser bearing Istoth colours; a dead man slumped over it's neck. Coursers were fine animals, built for speed and agility; unlike his strong destrier. However, given the circumstances; the creature would do.

Aeron widened his arms and lunged for the startled animal, managing to grab one of it's loose reins. The horse tried to rear, but Aeron settled it quickly; leading it back to where the Princess lay. Roughly, he yanked the dead man to the floor and the corpse landed with a resounding thump next to the Princess. Quickly, he stepped over them both and knelt down next to Evangeline. He found himself hesitating; this felt a little odd. Shaking the uncomfortable feeling, Aeron shifted his arms beneath her; lifting her up and into his chest. The Prince carried her with relative ease, hoisting her up and into the saddle a little roughly. He cringed as she began to fall forward and quickly placed his left hand on her waist to steady her in the seat. With one quick spring, Aeron vaulted up into the saddle behind her. Slotting his feet into the stirrups, he took the reins in his right hand; wrapping his left arm around the Princess's waist in an attempt to steady her in the saddle.

Waisting no more time, Aeron gave the mount a hefty kick. The bay squeled, surging forward so quickly that Aeron almost unseated both himself and the Princess. Aeron gave the creature no respite, spurring it forward as he weaved between corpses and dodged blows from footsoldiers. They had managed to clear half the battlefeild when a strange crackling noise met Aeron's ears. Against his better judgement, the Prince drew his courser to an abrupt halt and turned his head. What met his eyes was far more disturbing than he expected. A huge dragon stood behind the Istoth army, sending blasts of fire out into the surrounding woodland. The trees were catching like kindling, sending clouds of choking black smoke billowing up into the air. The wind was changing overhead, causing the smoke to creep out of the trees and slither down onto the battlefield. He didn't know which concerned him most; the fact that Istoth had a dragon or the fact that the forest was catching alight. The wood were sparse enough here, however further into Seulghem territory they thickened, forming the large forest the surrounded part of the city. If the whole forest went alight, half their food and fuel source would be abolished.

Prioities Aeron, prioties. Aeron spurred on his mount once again, clearing the rest of the distance in no time. He drew the bay up to a halt and flung himself onto the ground, landing cleanly. Turning to two outriders he yelled at them, "Go now to Seulghem. Assign every available hand, cart and bucket on dampening the forest. Use the lakewater!" the outriders nodded and turned their mounts, speeding away. It was a futile attempt, but the days had been dry recently and at the rate that fire was spreading it was the only option Aeron could think of. Hastily he turned and grabbed Evangeline, dragging her off the saddle and back into his arms. Aeron strode through the opening of the healers tent and made his way to one of the blankets at the back. Gently he set her down. This part of the tent had makeshift drapes and was normally where those with mortal wounds were put after death. On this occassion, the drapes offered privacy from any prying eyes.

Aeron signalled to a young man with a red cloth tied around his upper arm. It was the sign of a healer, "Get me some herbs for pain. Now." his tone was commanding and surprisingly urgent. The healer had been working on a groaning Seulghem man, however he bowed and scurried to the box of herbs at the Prince's request. Aeron turned back to the Princess and knelt down next to her. From what he could see there was no blood, however he eyed a deep hoofprint embedded in the leather chestpiece. A sheepish feeling overcame him, aswell as an unwelcome pang of guilt; Evangeline had probably been trampled by him and his war horse. Aeron outstretched his hands and set to work unbuckling the leather breastplate. Normally, he woud drop the injured off with the healers and ride back into the throngs of battle; however this was different. The stakes were too high. Seulghem could not afford for the Princess of Istoth to die.

Jet charged down the slope with sure footing and terrifying speed. The beast's black mane was whipped back by the wind and every time the coarse hairs hit his face they sent the flesh stinging with every contact. With no helmet to protect his head, Alvere could only hope that no one would aim for his cranium, for he only had his hat. His strongly-built frame was raised upwards and forwards as he leant down over the equine's firm neck, and his blue cloak fluttered behind him as dust was kicked up by hundreds of thundering hooves. The drumming of the limbs on the loose soil matched the pounding of his blood and Alvere knew he had never felt more alive than when he was risking his life for his people.

They hit the front ranks of Istoth with force and power. Men were sent flying like skittles and immediately Seulghem had the advantage. The blade of his longsword was thrust downwards repeatedly and a symphony of dying screams met his ears. Out of the corner of his brown eyes the Royal Guard saw a foot soldier heading towards him and his horse, a large knife resembling a carving blade clutched in a bloodied fist. At just the right moment he kicked out a booted foot and it smashed into the man's face. Crunching told him that he had delivered a broken nose but sharp pain banished any other thought. Looking down he saw the massive knife embedded deep within his calf. With a set jaw he yanked it out and tossed it to the muddy floor. Blood streamed from the deep wound but he had no time to attempt to fix it.

Over where the forest was flames were taking hold and the huge fire drake behind the Istoth ranks seemed to be the cause. But once again Alvere had no time to worry - there was no way he could take out a dragon, even with help. Besides, he could hear Prince Aeron yelling orders. Blades crashed nearby and Jet reared. Forcing the beast down, Alvere redirected him and steered the horse over to a small group of the enemy. As he drew near Al held out his weapon, eyes narrowed.

Princess Evangeline "Evan" Blythe
female | eighteen | Isoth

Where... where am I?
format © vita.anima
Evangeline had a dream. While she had been unconscious, Evan had barely registered anything, knowing only that there was pain. A lot of it, in fact. Searing agony coursed through her body, especially in her midsection. Evangeline blankly remembered broken ribs, and being trampled by a horse. Eventually, all normal thoughts had sort of ceased, and her brain had stopped functioning probably for a little bit while she had fainted. Evan dreamed about a dragon, setting the forest surrounding the battlefield on fire. Evangeline had no idea it was actually happening in real life. All she knew was that her subconscious was spinning this dangerous forest fire into a delightfully cloudy dream. The next thing knew, Evangeline was being prodded by none other than a giant fish. A pike, to be exact, with a black and brown head, with weird golden inscriptions on the body. For some reason, the pike was holding a longsword, deep black in color, glinting in the sunlight. Overall, it was a very surreal dream, and even in her unconscious state, Evangeline didn't really think the dream was real. However, there was one striking thing she remembered very clearly... two intense blue eyes, staring at her the entire time.
Throughout the rest of the dream, Evangeline imagined that the pike carried her to safety, riding through the battle on a horse, oddly enough. She didn't know that pikes rode horses, but maybe in dreams they did. Finally, the heroic pike reached its destination and ended up in a tent. It looked vaguely similar to a healing tent, but Evangeline didn't remember anything else past that point in her dream. When she came to, there was the pike standing over her. Except, it wasn't a pike anymore. Instead, it was a tall, well-built man wearing a helmet shaped like the pike from her dreams, with the same two strikingly clear blue eyes. Naturally, Evangeline did what any addled person who just regained consciousness would do. She reached out towards the thing she recognized, her long, slender fingers brushing against the pike helmet. Too weak to hold her arm up for very long, her fingers dropped from the helmet, falling against the man's cheek before landing beside her body again.
"Pike," she whispered in a slightly dreamy voice, still thick with drowsiness. And then she fell back asleep.

Waking up for the second time, Evangeline was now much less dull and confused than before. Blinking, she saw the same man kneeling over her. Evan was in a healing tent, and was currently being assisted by none other than Prince Aeron, the pike from her dreams. Even though he was clearly helping her (why else would they be in a healing tent), Evangeline felt the familiar wave of panic rise up in her chest when she saw those steely blue eyes.
"Where am I? Aeron, what are you doing?" Her voice came out an octave higher than her usual clear and even alto. Her voice trembled slightly, her hazel-green eyes widened in fear. "Let go of me, Prince," Evangeline spat out the last word, glaring at him with daggers in her eyes.

Leonidas couldn't express his relief when the elf agreed to let him help her. Even though she wouldn't permit him to carry her, despite the two arrows to her shoulder and chest, Leo could do nothing more but trail after her, making sure she didn't fall. He came close to just picking her up and slinging her over his shoulder, but knew that she might struggle if he did that, which would only make things worse for her injuries. Plus, she'd be really mad if he did anything to her without her permission.
When they reached the pond the female elf spoke of, Leonidas nearly panicked with worry when she almost fell and hurt herself against the tree, knocking the arrow against it. The elf ended up collapsing against a large tree, pulling out the arrow in her shoulder. Leonidas winced when a fresh spurt of blood sprayed out of it, but he didn't say anything. Instead, when the elf started fainting, he knelt down next to her and ripped off a piece of his cloth tunic underneath his armor, tying it tightly around her shoulder wound to keep the bleeding from getting worse.
Next, Leonidas broke off the tip of the arrow in her chest to make it easier to pull out. Normally, he would yank it out quickly to reduce the length of pain, but since she was unconscious, Leonidas slowly and carefully pulled the arrow out, making sure to follow the path it entered her body and not to tear any more flesh. Tossing the broken arrows to the side, Leonidas ended up cutting off a large section of his tunic, feeling his armor brush against his bare skin. He'd probably get blisters from the armor without his tunic to protect his skin, but he didn't care. Anything to get the bleeding to stop. Gently taking off the breastplate, Leonidas made sure not to reveal too much of the elf's skin to retain her modesty. Instead, he stopped at her tunic, which had been torn from the arrow, so it was easy enough to bind the wound with his own piece of cloth. Making sure the makeshift bandages were tight enough to stop the bleeding but just loose enough to not restrict movement, Leonidas sat back, decently happy with his work. He'd have to get her to a healing tent later, but after she was fixed up, Leo came to the unhappy conclusion that he would have to turn the elf in to Prince Aeron. After all, elves were impressive beings, and worth a lot more than human hostages.
Hoping that she would wake up soon, Leo took an extra piece of cloth that he hadn't used to bandage her wounds and dipped it into the water from the pond. Being surprisingly gentle, Leonidas wiped away the blood from her face and neck until she was clean again.
"You probably don't even know I'm talking, considering you're unconscious, but I'm Leonidas. Just thought you should know who almost killed you, but decided to save you. Sorry about that, by the way, but you're welcome for helping you out." Leonidas wasn't sure why he was bothering talking, but the silence was too eerie. "You're going to be okay. I promise," Leo said thickly, feeling drowsy himself as he watched the elf sleep. Sighing, he laid back against the tree as well, keeping one eye on her and one eye on the quickly spreading forest fire.

"They asked for it."

As I watched the battle very few seemed to react to me let alone quite fighting. Seulghem was asking for a beating. I growled and sent another flame of fire this time controlling them to head deeper into the forest that surrounded most of Seulghem. If we destroyed that forest... There would be nothing left for Seulghem. The forest of theirs was one of their main and only resources. I stopped controlling it when it began to tire me and spread on its own. I was becoming weak from this and I felt tired. I couldn't loose my dragon form like this though, then Seulghem would know of me.

I decided desperate times called for desperate measures. I sent a small mouth of fire at a small cluster of Seulghem's medical tents. Hopefully the others would catch fire as well, but slow enough that everyone could get out. I wasn't on a mission to kill, just to wound and fight off. Even if my dragon side of blood lust and anger took over sometimes, that didn't mean I was all for blood, gore, and fire. I stood on my hind legs before spreading my beautiful large wings. On the outside of them they were obsidian like the rest of me but on the insides they were a dark crimson like my eyes. I roared loudly before landing on all fours again. I glared at the Seulghem army. I just hoped people were getting out as the few medical tents were on fire, I just hoped it began to spread slowly without my help.

I had always been reluctant to killing others yet it was something I was so good at doing. At a young age I remember going to school and burning down the fence around it by accident. Everything I had done as a child had always been by accident. Most had always assumed I was just a fire witch of some sort but I had always been much more. As I watched the battle rage on I was almost surprised more Seulghem weren't taking notice to me and trying to kill me, I let it work though. It wasn't like I wanted to die, I had to live on and stay as the general. I was the new general. A stabbing pain coursed through my heart at the thought. I still couldn't believe she was dead.

{ I hope this is alright, I don't have much to do because I have no one to work with. Sorry it is short. }
