°yay x) its cool though. Halloween for me starts at four. In taking my younger siblings to something from 4-6 before me and my older younger sisters and I go hit every single apartment complex in the area°

Kacey had already noticed Thunder's accent, and height. She in fact noticed every little detail given. She stood up from her position leaning on the wall and walked over to the back of the room where she had thrown down her knife and it stayed perfectly stuck on the floor. "I have been moving from building to building for at least 4 or 5 days now. I have been alone for three of the, not counting today." She picked up the knife. It made a ringing sound when the tip removed it's self from the wood floor. Kacey's index finger and thumb carefully held the end of it until it was silent like a normal knife should be. She looked up and tucked the knife in the back pocket of her skinnyjeans. The bottoms of them skimmed the floor and they were stained a brown colour up until her ankles, but her boots helped hide that. Kacey sighed a little. "Where were you headed?" She asked.

i paused for a moment, not really having any place popping up in my mind to use as an excuse. "as it stands, nowhere yet." i shrugged only slightly, my gaze flashing and holding it pure on the knife, ice blue eyes narrowed. "you got any weapons to spare? i lost my last throwin' knife a while back to one a those lupine freakin' devils, so i'm kinda hittin' up and usin' really whatever i can find now. and i'm sick of it." i hadn't held a knife in so long, using sticks and lawn decorations in the meantime until i had at least found some type of real weapon, and knives were my weapon of choice, any type of them really. throwing. heck, i'd even use kitchen knives if that was all that there was. "ey- mind if i trail with ya?" i expected a negative answer, but wouldn't really care if she said no. i wasn't going to pressure her into anything, especially when i was only half willing to team up with anybody myself.

Kacey looked around for a second for the other knife she had thrown, that one was shorter, less aerodynamic and made no for throwing but close combat. The other one was a throwing knife. Kacey got down on her knees and stuck her arm under a desk, pulling out the longer throwing knife. She threw it up, watched it spin 180 degrees quickly and caught the blade, she held it out for you, the handle facing you. "I don't mind" She said.

i couldn't help but grin, nodding some and taking the knife from her, movements not too fast so she knew i wouldn't strike at her. "thanks. and with that i guess imma ask, where you headed off to?" i rose an eyebrow as long as my gaze, which was on the knife, but then it floating to meet the other girl's eyes. i tucked the knife into the belt i had for my old ones, it fitting rather well, so i was fine with it. it was just about the same weight as my old ones, which comforted me in knowing i'd be able to use this properly without making a complete fool out of myself.

The only thing here was scattered papers and boots, not much of a help. She crouched down at the bottom of a filing cabinet and sighed. Carefully she opened the drawers and inspected them for anything usefull, all she came out with was a box of Band-Aids.

i sighed some and nodded slowly. "car. i'm guessin' you've got one? never owned one in my life so don't depend on me for that. but yeah. i'll tag along and help. and those," i waved my hand at the box of bandaids before continuing. "those ain't gonna get you far. i suggest somethin' more... eh. burdock leaves are the best go to if we ever get hurt. can't even trust manmade stuff like that. look, i've been on my own for fifteen point five years of my life, i think i can handle keepin you alive too." i sighed once more, turning my gaze to scan the room, walking over and tearing off the wooden leg of a chair, snapping it and tearing off a strip of wood before taking out the offered knife, sitting down and sharpening the end. "knives ain't gonna keep us alive. we're gonna need all the weapons we can get. that and just supplies in general. i suggest stayin' away from the forest, though, so i agree with your whole search and filtrate plan."
