Never in the slightest way did Marco react to whatever they were doing, or their happy bubbly smiles, which spark joy and delightful-ness. He was a dull creature. He didn't feel the need to smile much, only because that isn't how he is feeling emotionally or physically to do. He'd never smile just because someone else is, unless Marco has a good reason for it. Other than that, he had his poker-face of mystery sulking over his face. Marco scrunched up the bridge of his nose, the strong scent of fish caught his attention as it got thrown onto the shore. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly as the female of the two got the fish before he'd even have the idea of taking it. Marco was more of a gatherer. He learned that taking, is better than sharing and that stealing is better than buying or trading. Way of survival, mostly....And a save of time. It wasn't that he was selfish, he'd steal for others, maybe. Never had a chance to, yet. Marco did not really have much a connection with others, he doesn't know much about society or what the heck is going on present day. Any old news would be new news, If Marco ever found out.
He watched sharply as the female plopped the fish back onto the shore, Marco had the chance to take it for himself. He walked over quickly, without saying anything and picked up the fish with his bare hands. Observing it with curious eyes, he nodded once and held the fish by the base of the tail. Carrying it by his side. The offer of the fish was pleasing to hear. Seemed like the other male had more to say than..Faeryn. Was that her name? Rolling his shoulders back he'd reply, "Well, I can obviously see that you are catching fish, no need to waste your breath telling me that." Marco spoke with monotone to his voice. Maybe a bit of annoyance. Marco always had a dislike for extra details, it confused him over the details or information that he should keep in track or didn't hear yet. He walked closer to the male, stared him directly into his eyes. He was only two feet away, standing almost like a statue. The male would squint his eyes softly before turning away and standing at the edge of the river. The two seemed friendly, so there wasn't an issue or a problem he'd have to make with them. Even if he wanted to, he'd not even bother starting a fight between both of them because of the logic of greater numbers versus him, and him only. Not a very smart idea. Looking back down at the fish he'd use two thumbs to separate the scales from the tender meat inside. Once he did a decent opening to reveal the redness, Marco would directly bite down on the fish, with a couple small bones and all. He never really cooked anything, having a strong stomach he could eat anything raw. Chewing with a tiny smile of delight, he'd turn over to them again. "You are right, these aren't too bad." He raised a brow to their question. Taking a bite out of the fish again, pulling the meat from the bones of the fish, Marco walked over until he was near enough to see their eye color. "Join catching fish that I don't need? No. I'd rather not. But, I will tell you this." He licked his lips to clear the blood from over them. Marco turned back around and sat down on the grass with the fish laying by his side. "I'll sit here and watch, listen, and I guess you can say...Communicate?" Marco sparked a smirk before ripping a piece from the fish and eating it.
