Róisín's heart fell to her feet when Mika's expression changed to one of sadness. Sure then that she had said something wrong, she opened her mouth to apologize, only for Mika to speak about their clothing. Thanking her with a little laugh, she paused again when she said that something had happened. Her heart leaped to her throat when she explained. A new lead hunter, Beta and an Alpha... She blinked slowly, letting it all sink in. The worry that danced in her eyes melted, however, when they met with the warm amber gaze of Mika. Róisín smiled easily again, comforted by the other girl's confidence in the new members in charge. "Of course it will all work out. They'll all do a fantastic job, and, if it means anything, they will have my support." Smiling easily, she rolled her eyes, sighing dramatically, complementing it with an over-exaggerated hand movement. "I leave for an hour and the whole place changes." Chuckling quietly, she suddenly realized that the room went quiet, her gaze falling on the opening door.
In strode Cybil, and her strength and power could not be questioned at this time. Gooseflesh rose up on Róisín's arms and neck as Cybil began to speak. Now, it didn't matter that the others left the pack. It didn't matter that the future may have been uncertain. Now, all that mattered was that they were a pack. They were together, they were to look out for one another, and they were now a family. If a bull had run through the room at this point, Róisín would not have noticed. Cybil had her absolute, undivided attention.
"Do you accept that you are now a part of the Evergreen Pack?" The words sent a chill up her spine. Nodding silently, she began to shut her eyes, preparing to release her power to the Alpha, but a movement from her side caught her attention before she could do so. Mika spoke up, verbally answering the Alpha's question. Róisín's heart skipped a beat. Was she supposed to speak up too? Breathing deeply to steady her sure-to-be trembling voice, as the gust of the powers swirled through the air, she stepped forward.
              "
I, Róisín McLoughlin, the firstborn daughter of the McLoughlin pack, of huntress bloodline, accept my place in this pack, and, therefore, you as my Alpha." Smiling softly to Cybil, she opened her power, its force joining Mika's stronger power in circling the room, shutting her eyes in order to concentrate on giving her power. She was sure that the "Firstborn Daughter" thing was probably unimportant, but she had been the first daughter of seven generations of her father's family, so it was kind of important, and anyway, it sounded cool.

ian 19 pack omega no power level homosexual/single tags; pack

though he heard the howl and knows he should heed the call, ian doesn't budge and remains laying by a stream. he could feel the power in the call, the pull of a high rank, but for some reason it just doesn't affect him. ian mulls it over silently as he watches the little fish swim in the water before him. it was odd that he doesn't get drawn by the power, like an invisible rope dragging him along. he's seen the power work before when a high power commands a lesser one, but he's never felt it himself. his ears perk up a bit as he realizes that he's never felt the draw of a higher power, never felt like puppet on a string. the more he thinks about it, the more he comes to understand that he may not be a regular wolf like he was always told. he might just be an omega instead. ian sits up onto his haunches as his thoughts start to become chaotic, could it be true? could he really be an omega and not some weak power? he thinks back to the howl that had echoed from the cabin, the powerful call that could only be from an alpha. a call that just washes over him like a mild breeze. he was indeed an omega.

the male gets to his feet and shakes off his pelt before padding towards the cabin, his tail lifted happily. his previously submissive demeanor now gone, there was no need to submit to someone who has no power over him. he had been taught his whole life that he was weak and powerless, but now he knows that wasn't true and his confidence is given a boost. ian arrives at the cabin well past the others and dresses in dark jeans and a t-shirt, ignoring the orders for formal wear with a bit of a smile. it felt oddly thrilling to be able to ignore orders, something he hadn't been able to do before. he heads to the coronation room with only minutes to spare, taking a seat at the back of the room away from the others. though he was immune to the power that floods the room from the higher levels, ian doesn't like the pressure that batters up against him from time to time. when cybil enters the room and announces that she was to be the new alpha, ian barely holds back a yawn. politics have always bored him to death and he honestly doesn't care who the alpha is, especially now that they hold no true power over him. cybil's speech makes ian lift an eyebrow, but remains silent even as his thoughts start to whirl in his mind. as mika pledges herself to cybil, ian sips his drink silently and ignores the flurry of power that is unleashed when their powers join. the omega remains seated in the back of the room as the others start pledging themselves to cybil, sipping his drink calmly. though he had come to join this pack, ian was now unsure if he really wants to, each pack he had been in before ended up either shunning him or perishing and he doesn't want to go through any of that ever again.

Serenity stepped forward when it came to be her turn, one hand placed
upon her heart and chestnut eyes locked onto the blue ones of
her new Alpha.
"I, Serenity, proud fighter for and defender of this pack, accept my place
and you as my Alpha. May your time as such be long and prosperous."

A warm glow spread through Serenity, her power reaching out to touch
Cybil when the dirty blonde could not. It was an assuring brush, one
that Serenity hoped communicated clearly enough that if she ever felt
alone, Serenity would be there for her. Yes, Serenity knew that she

sounded a bit dramatic, but when she got emotional, her words took a form of their own. She really had no control over her mouth. After bowing her head slightly to Cybil, the fae stepped back into the crowd of pack members, searching for any slightly familiar face to latch on to. Someone to stand next to, to feel more in place than she currently was. Another strand of hair fell in front of the girl's eyes, but this time she let it be. Why bother fixing it if it was just going to fall out again.

Mika watched as one by one folks were stepping up to pledge themselves, but a frown came to her lips as she noticed Ian in the back. He made no such move towards Cybil, and in fact a look of defiance was almost on his face. She strolled over to him nonchalantly before pausing in front of him. She raised a brow at him meeting his gaze," nervous or..?" She trailed off reaching out to take a drink before clinking it with his. She took a sip as she waited his response.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[ Nicholas ]
"You exist in time, but belong to eternity..."
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Nicholas glanced over his shoulder at the approach
of another stranger, blinking curiously as he observed
him. Finally, the wolf shifted back to human form,
a broad smile greeting his face as he waved,
blue eyes shimmering. "Well hi stranger. Care
to join us? I'm Nicholas, this is Faeryn, we're
just catching some fish."

As he spoke, the brute lunged suddenly, hands splashing
into the water and coming back up with a small fish.
"Want one? They're not all that bad tasting, I promise."

It was often found curious, how often Nick was friendly
to other wolves, even those who might not be so friendly
with him.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
[ Cybil ]
"On the whole, human beings want to be good,
but not too good, and not quite all the time..."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Cybil nodded gratefully as each wolf took their vows.
She noticed one brute in the back, an omega, refusing
to acknowledge the ceremony, and nodded her head
at Amos in a signal for him to hang back. It wasn't
necessary for omega powers to pledge anyways, as
their alliance to a pack was always by loyalty, not
power. Amos hanging back would help to cover any
tension that might arise from the other's refusal.

As Cybil turned her attention back to the group, she
accepted their powers, and, in a controlled gust that
was character of the young blonde, released her new
alpha level power. The candles went out, and pine needles
rustled in their bowls. Cybil didn't need to be violent
right now, and she had enough control over her power
to prevent any wayward bowls from flipping. The ceremony
was over. Cybil smiled, a bright and sunny thing.

"The pack is formed. Please, take tonight to relax, and
celebrate your new family."
Stepping off the dias as
the pack split into groups, the young girl made her way
over to Mika, who was still perched in front of the stubborn
omega. With a gentle nod to the brute, Cybil rested a hand
on her friend's shoulder, "Everything ok Mika?"

luke 21 lone werewolf level 10 bisexual/single tags; kathrine

it didn't take long for them to reach the rather well hidden cave that luke currently calls home, the entrance covered by mossy stone and vines to make it look like a normal rock face. most would think the location would be in the center of his claimed plot of land, but the cave was actually more to the northern edge to throw off intruders looking to take him by surprise. luke glances over to kathrine as he nears the den, but remains silent as he notices how she keeps a safe distance from him, something that irked him for some reason. was she still scared of him? he had assumed she would have gotten use to him by now, but it seems he was wrong. as they near the entrance, luke looks back to kathrine with a rather casual expression, his tone being just as calm and casual,
"you can come inside if you want, if not then there are a few smaller caves and dug out dens due west." he motions with his head towards the west as he mentions the other dens to indicate which way it was. using his nose, luke brushes some of the vines out of his way before walking inside, the vines falling back into place as if they never moved. his steps falter a little as he tries to listen for kathrine's footsteps, wondering if she'll follow or just leave. a tiny voice at the back of his mind whispers quiet prayers that she will summon the courage and enter the den, but luke quickly silences the voice before it could get any louder.

his den wasn't as dingy and wolfish as one may imagine, though it could use a few touches of color or something. the entrance leads into a narrow corridor that slopes downward to leads to the living area of the den. the space of his den was pretty large given the size of his wolf form and spans roughly twenty feet or so in each direction. his bed is a pair of twin-size mattresses pushed together against one wall and covered with animal furs which act as both a comforter for his human form and a little nest for his wolf form. there was a tiny well dug in the far back corner of the den that provides a bit of water if he's not wanting to go out to the stream. among the other items inside the den, there was a small table next to his bed with a fire lantern, a few bit of clothing in a basket, a handful of books, and a battery radio. it was the bare minimum, but it was home to luke. once inside the living space, luke shakes out his pelt and then shifts into his human form in a glow of light. since he's so large, it takes twice as long as a normal shift and the light he gives off is is rather dull in comparison. luke groans as he stretches his arms over his head, it's been a while since he's shifted and he forgot how sore his human body can get. standing at nearly six and a half feet tall, luke was just as big in human form as he is in wolf form. he also has a pretty muscular frame, though not overly so, and is covered in dozens of scars. his back and chest have the most with his arms having a couple smaller ones. out of defiance, luke grows his hair long and will tie it back into a messy bun if it gets in his way.

since he's not in his human form very often, luke only owns pants and shorts which he only wears in respect to women otherwise he would be nude since he just doesn't care. clad in a pair of ripped jeans that have seen better days, luke stretches a bit more before moving over to the little table by his bed where he grabs a brush and starts working out the knots in his long hair. as he fights with the knots, luke wonders if kathrine was still outside trying to figure out what to do. the female was a mystery to him, but he's always had a bit of a fondness for mysteries and challenges. growling under his breath, luke yanks on the brush as it catches another knot and mutters in russian as he untangles it. it was hard having long hair at times, but he refuses to cut it and give into the people who keep telling him to do so, like his grandparents. the old alphas were traditionalists and want men to be clean cut and presentable which luke is neither. his beard was short, but still long enough for his grandparents to get angry over. the male throws the brush in frustration when it keeps catching on more knots and flops back onto his bed with a growl. his legs hang over the edge has he stares up at the cave ceiling, tracing the cracks with his eyes as he mulls over what kathrine may be doing. he's not sure why he keeps thinking about the female, maybe it's because she's the only female to really interest him in a long while. the thought makes him scoff lightly to himself, but it may very well be true.

    R o b y n n
    T a g s : pack(?)/open

Rosy red curls bounced atop the girl's shoulders, her fair face wearing an expression that spoke of a fair catch. She had just been at the nearby town, a place where little to no wolves ever went, and found a filthily rich man. With a bump, a 'sorry', and a quick swipe , his wallet was in her hand, and it did not disappoint. The multiple faces of Benjamin Franklin looked solemnly at her as she counted her loot. Three, four, five... six hundred dollars in cash and two credit cards Robynn had made sure to abuse while the clueless man continued with his day. Multiple pieces of furniture, new clothes, and makeup now sitting in her human apartment, the werewolf strolled gladly to the forest where she spent most of her time. It was loner territory, so it was a decent place for her to stay, and yet what made it so appealing to her was actually the building intruding it. The 'reserve', as they called it, was full of naïve young wolves that were easy prey for the predator that was Robynn. She always found it fun to mess with them, tease them about their school-like life, and occasionally get into a little skirmish. The young wolves would almost always take them far too seriously, while Robby smiled through the whole thing. This building full of teenagers was like a movie theater to her.

Robynn put the wallet away and looked in front of her. There it was, the cabin-like structure in which resided the newest wolf pack. Without hesitation, the redhead strolled into the building where she knew she wasn't welcome, and looked around for the little humanoids that brought her such joy. In the opening room, she saw nothing, but through an open door she could hear the voices of the werewolves declaring their loyalty to their alphas. Typical pack wolves.

Silently, Robynn approached the door, and peeked her head into the room of the pack. Some wolves, some in human form, but all loyal to their alpha. All, of course, except for Robin. Keeping her voice to herself, the loner scanned the small crowd, trying to find one single human-formed wolf to talk to.

Her eyes had followed his nose and glanced over to where the other caves were as he pushed through the vines and disappeared into the hidden den. She had to admit; he was impressed by this cave, even just seeing the outside. Its location was very strategic and she respected that very well and she'd of never known there was a den underneath if she hadn't watched him disappear. But back to the decision at hand, she needed to stop trying to distract her mind as she had decisions to make even though they made her a bit nervous again. Kathrine was honestly torn between her mind and - startlingly - her heart. Her mind was firm and spoke the usually that she had been listening to this whole time as it said she should sleep in one of the smaller dens, just to be safer. This was the path she had always chosen as it had never failed her...so why was her heart speaking louder than her thoughts? Her heart directed her to follow Luke, to take a chance and possibly gain an ally that she hadn't had in years. Of course, the only allies she'd had always turned against her and that was what her mind screamed in response to this, but still her heart spoke softly to follow it. Kathrine growled at herself as the two sides battled back and forth, the storm of thoughts swirling like hurricane behind her eyes. Finally, she pinned her ears and sighed; she needed to make a decision now.

Her icy eyes followed the tunnel hallway that led down into Luke's den, her paws padding softly across the cooled dirt floor. Kathrine curiously glanced around her, admiring the amount of work that had gone into shaping his den. Again, she was rather impressed by it. It was much more than she was expecting honestly. As she entered the living area of the den, her eyes first landed on Luke as he was lying on the mattresses. As if in surprise, her posture rose a few inches and her ears perked, her gaze widening slightly. She hadn't expected him to be in human form when she'd come down here and she certainly wasn't expecting him to be shirtless. As soon as her mind clicked as to this part of what she saw of him, she averted her gaze quickly, trying to find the cracks and crevices of the walls more interesting. Kathrine was silently screaming at herself as she realized what she must have looked like right then, not that anything she did now would change anything. She moved over to the opposite side of the mattresses from him and sat on her haunches on the stone floor, not daring to sit on the mattress itself. She was nervous again, more nervous than she thought she'd EVER been before; to make things worse, she wasn't sure if the nervousness was a good feeling or a bad feeling.

But she'd already gone far out of her comfort zone by just stepping into the den, and what she was about to do would be the farthest she was willing to go as she already felt so vulnerable. Closing her eyes, before he could say a word about it, the red and cream colored fur was enveloped in a flash of light as she called her human form back from the past. As the light faded, she was happy to find that her red plaid shirt, black undershirt, and blue jeans were all still in good condition, though she had forgotten that she had been barefoot the last time she'd been human. Kathrine was also happy to find that her long, blonde hair was still held together in the braid she'd put it in las time to keep it tamed. It seemed to be coming undone, though, so she moved her fingers to take out the black hair band and rebraid it. How long had it been since she'd shifted back? Weeks? Months? She wasn't sure; all Kathrine knew was that this was a kind of great nightmare to her mind at this moment as it screamed at her that she was defenseless now, like she didn't already know and accept that. For the first time, she blocked these screaming thoughts away and let her heart speak for once as she glanced over at Luke, her eyes flickering quickly up to his face and refusing to look anywhere else, "I apologize for the state of my human form. It's been a while." She looked away from him as her fingers moved to brush out her light colored strands before she began braiding it back, "I must admit I am quite impressed by the home you have made here." She said nothing more as to not embrass herself more than she already felt she was.

Art had finally made it to his new home. Exhausted but excited, Art happily marched up to the cabin that he'd be living at for the rest of his life, hopefully. He had traveled two full days on foot to the reservation with a backpack and two suitcases. It wasn't very easy; he didn't rest much because he was impatient and really wanted to meet the people that he'd be living with. Before entering the cabin, he took a look around and he almost didn't go into the cabin. He wanted to stay outside and admire the new land; he almost pulled out his sketchpad and began drawing, but he heard faint chatter from inside the cabin and decided to enter his new home. Art slowly opened the door and squealed in joy as he saw how magnificent the cabin was. With big adventure-filled eyes, he went around the entire place touching everything. He looked in every nook and cranny and inspected them. When he heard he was going to live in a cabin he didn't expect this. He was absolutely shocked and delighted when he arrived. The faint chatter was a bit louder now and he was tempted to keep looking around the place, but he decided to go meet his new pack members.

Art wanted to impress everyone so he entered the first bathroom he could find, which was in somebody's room, to freshen up; he hoped that the person's bathroom he used didn't mind. He looked at his baggy jeans and flannel that he wore while hiking here and stuck his tongue out in playful disgust. He quickly changed into a simple yet fancy pastel pink sweater and gray jeans. Art then added on some matching pink converse and a small gray bow after fixing his hair. He looked in the mirror and giggled, he was finally ready to meet everyone. Art exited the bathroom and left his luggage in the living room before quickly following all of the talking into a room.

The room was decorated nicely and he realized that a coronation just took place. There was a coronation in his old pack when he was 11 years old. The alpha had died and they quickly appointed the beta as the new alpha. The ceremony was quite interesting yet boring because Art could barely sit still. He was itching to go outside and play with his 5 year old sister, who was also squirming throughout the entire thing.
Art scanned the room to see that everyone was split into groups. His gaze landed on a blonde girl his age and he felt lots of power and dominance come from her. He assumed that she was the alpha and he was eager to introduce himself but she looked busy so he continued to look around the room until he found another blonde girl that looked a bit older. She had a look of discontent all over her face. Her lips formed into a scowl and her eyes glared at the wall. Art could only smile has he thought that this girl could be a new friend. He skipped up to her and his smile grew even bigger. "Hello, I'm Art Yu. I'm the new fighter. Level 6." He cheerfully said, his response laced with a childish manner. "And who are?" Art eagerly asked. He examined the girl's face with great interest. Art thought she was stunning and couldn't help but blush a little. He was in the presence of a gorgeous person, he couldn't help it. This place was so beautiful, he couldn't do anything but smile widely. Art was thrilled to start a new life here. Everything seemed to be absolutely perfect.

Róisín took a step back once the other present members of the pack announced their loyalty to Cybil, the powers subsiding, returning to their owners. She picked her glass back up, taking a deep sip in an attempt to still the rush of adrenaline that still coursed within her. Her gaze searched for Mika, wondering if the purple-haired girl was going to return to her side. However, she had moved on to another pack member, speaking with a male pack member, and, eventually, Cybil. Róisín lowered her head, raising the glass to her lips once again. She may have been a confident girl, but approaching her Alpha for a casual chat... That needed at least two more glasses of wine.
Finding herself slipping into her thoughts, her face resumed its natural, far-from-content expression. Hands crossed across her chest, gaze a million miles away. How could she be expected to make any friends taking this stance? Her mother had often told her to take a friendlier position, that people would be more likely to approach her if she looked friendlier. But she never payed attention, and now, as she stood here, she wondered what her pack mates must think of her now.
She wondered if there were any other pack members in the same boat as her. She assumed that they had all left packs, family, friends, maybe even romantic partners behind, and they must all be desperate to create new bonds within this new pack. She honestly had assumed that it would be an immediate bond, that they would all suddenly become friends, as if by magic, or some supernatural pack calling.
This was going to be far more difficult than she had originally planned.
At that time, she longed for Kieran. If he had accepted, they could be here together right now, having a laugh and bouncing off each other's confidence in attempts to introduce themselves to their pack members. But no. He had to take the life of a loner, he had to be his own stubborn self.
Suddenly, a flurry of colour in front of her pulled her attention, and she raised her gaze with a start. A chestnut haired pack member stood in front of her, a wide smile on his face. She looked at him for a second with a look of complete shock, blinking quickly. He must have been a new pack member - she hadn't seen him at dinner. After the initial shock, a smile to mirror his pulled at her lips as he introduced himself. He was certainly forward.
              "
Róisín McLoughlin. But you can call me Ró if you like." She introduced herself, her voice sweet and melodic. "Level Five, Huntress." She continued, noticing his blush with a soft, not unkind laugh. He was adorable, but, being a higher level fighter, she didn't doubt that he could pack a punch. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Art. Had you a long journey?" She raised the now almost empty glass to her lips, making a mental note to grab another one once the opportunity arose.
