Anna smiled at Zach's reply to her greeting and looked down at the ground for a moment. It was nice to have a friend again. Someone she felt like she could trust. It had been months since she had met someone she felt that she could call a friend. Anna looked up to gaze at the sky, which was growing lighter by the minute. It was nice, just sitting here, watching the sunrise. The air was still cool for now, but the hybrid knew it wouldn't last long. The desert would be hot again soon, and Anna knew that they should start on their plans for the day, and try to get as much done as they could before it got too hot. The hybrid sat there for a moment, not making an effort to break the silence, as she enjoyed the cool air and the sunrise.

When Zach spoke, Anna nodded in agreement. She didn't like the idea of just wandering, but at the same time, she couldn't think of any better plan. They had to start somewhere right? The hybrid had no idea which direction to go, and this seemed like the best option at the moment. There had to be food and water around here someplace. If there wasn't, why would they put everyone here in the desert? "Okay," she replied. "Sounds like a good plan to me." The hybrid stood up and offered her hand to Zach to help him up. She was ready to start the day. Sitting here wouldn't help them find food or water, no matter how nice it seemed right now.

Mira's head was pounding from getting up a little too fast, and from not getting as much rest as she liked. She was thinking of the best option for her; go and get treated and then get dreadfully tested or try to escape her possible captor. Neither was very liked by her, especially in her weakened state.

"..And if I resist?" She question after a couple of moments, testing how far the female would go. Mira wasn't really planning on resisting capture unless Alysha made room to do so.

the younger hybrid had been bouncing impatiently while itona got up, jumping up and down in the sand, legs itching to get running. at his proposition, the young boy paused, and flicked his tail once as he glanced upwards thoughtfully, tapping his chin with one claw. "well... if we hunt now, more prey will be out and about. most creatures tend to be active at dusk and dawn, or at night." he glanced out at the sandy stretch of land leading away from the cave. "then, later, we can take a bath. even though the water will be warmer, we'll still cool down as it evaporates." he twitched his nose, whiskers trembling.

Cesta nodded slowly, thinking. "It's all good, I understand." She smiled, shaking off the rest of her annoyance. It's always better to be safe than sorry, no reason to get annoyed at him being wary. She probably should've done the same thing. "Nah, I just woke up maybe an hour ago? If you don't mind, I'd like to tag along. It's probably good for us to stick together," She said, squinting at the mountains in the distance. She could barely see them, but it probably was their best chance of finding shelter and food and water. Important stuff. "Yeah that looks like a good place to head towards, we might be able to find some other hybrids there too. We're probably not the only ones headed that way." Cesta stared off thoughtfully. There would obviously be other dome hybrids looking for the same thing they were. Hopefully there was enough to go around, she wasn't really into fighting for what she needed. But on the other hand, this was cool-- was she making a friend? She hoped she was, Dorak seemed nice enough, and was smart enough to be looking for shelter and food. It'd be good for her to stick with him for now.

I lay silent as the scientists left and groaned as I realised there were some straps attached to my back legs. Well aren't they organised I thought angrily slight tremors running over me like toy cars on a track as I pulled my legs with no result. I looked my hooves and sighed, waiting for the other person in the room to address me first before I spoke.

I watched at the side as scientists finally rolled her over onto a medical bed, wider than the others specially reserved for our more ..... big hybrids. I nodded to Bae and turned on my heel, all the other scientists bustling after me. I watched as they directed themselves back to their chairs and I left for my office. Passing the chief scientist's office I smirked silently as I say L in there. I continued on my way, reaching my computer and typing up the flower. My eyes lit up as I soaked in the information clouding from google.

Zach sat there, twiddling his thumbs while he watched his female companion. The early hours of the morning were nice - it seemed far more peaceful than night and definitely more tranquil than the blazing lights of day. The remaining slight crispness of the air was soothing to the male hybrid, for it seemed unlikely to him that those who had put them here, presumably people like the winged being he'd seen the previous day, would come to collect them during the dark.

He glanced down at his hands and then back at the girl. It's rude to stare. The boy silently reminded himself of what good manners were, knowing that he didn't want to seem shady when he himself was simply trying to gain trust, and to trust others. Seeing her nod, he relaxed a little, not realising he had tensed in the first place. Zach remained seated for a moment or two, waiting until Anna was ready to set off since he had just suggested today's plan, and also because she had just awoke. Taking the offered hand, the boy hauled himself up, cringing at the sound of his leg joint popping. "We set? Like, are we ready to walk for god knows how many miles for perhaps just a drop of water and a morsel of food" Zach asked with a nervous giggle, snatching up his jacket like it was going to grow legs and sprint away from him. After shaking sand from it, he slipped back round his wait, tying it a the front. It's true though... We might not eat or drink for days... Weeks... And even then there might not be enough for us both...


(Sorry it took so long - my family took me on a surprise holiday and there wasn't a stable wifi source so I couldn't tell y'all...)

" Alysha crossed her arms and looked down at the hybrid at her feet. She really preferred not to hurt the girl, but if she did resist or run she might have too. She also had Justin here to help her if she needed it, although the girl looked like she was in a pretty rough state and looked like she couldn't fight them. The smart thing would be for her just agree, let her go in unharmed and get healthy and stable in the medical ward. Most hybrids were taking this change very badly, so chances were other hybrids would be in the medical ward as well. So she won't be lonely

Bae headed back over to the medical ward, walking steadily and slow to prevent himself from hurting his stomach any further. As he was walking away the horse hybrid was being hauled off to the medical ward herself, before him as the scientists quickly rushed her there. He soon made it to the ward, watching as Alexis was getting treated, hopefully she would be okay. It looked as if the scientists were a little confused at how to fix this poising, but it looked promising He shuffled quietly past them all to get to the cot he was on before he left. sitting on the edge he lifted his shirt and unwrapped the gauze around himself then examined the stitches to make sure they were holding up. They seemed okay, and there was always the morning to get them fixed by the nurse. So he moved to lay down on his back where he shut his eyes. He tried his best to try and doze off with the bright lights still on in the room, due to Alexis. But soon enough he was out, sleeping the night away.

Alex watched as another hybrid walked over, he looked him over before looking back to the female who had approached them first. He needed to take off running, and if he got caught or stopped he needed to fight his way out. There wasn't much he could do with his arm in the cast, which would take up some time any way because he needed to get it off and go through things to get it back to the way it was before I was broken in the first place.

He turned his head to look at Ash then turned on his heels and took off running from the three of them. Thankfully the bobcat in him kept going and allowed him to run faster than a normally human. But the female had wings, she could easily catch up, tackle him from above. He wished the owl in him gave him beautiful wings like some of the other hybrids, but instead he is a mix of a few hybrids with just a little here and there

Ari's eyes it up when she offered to take them to the river, nodding happily. She looked over at the male when he asked what the others dna was. And Ari was interested herself. She looked over at her to see what her answer was. So a serpent, that must be why she found water so easily. And ari was thankful to meet her, and she was sure the other male was too.

She began to follow her, the ice still in her mouth. She moved it for a second to ask "What are your guises names?" She put the ice back in her mouth as she waited for an answer from them both. Thankfully they both were nice and hopefully they can stick together for a little longer and help each other out. Surely they each had heir own abilities that would help one other that the other neglected to haven.

Anna nodded in response to Zach's question. While she wasn't looking forward to walking all day trying to find food and water, she knew that the sooner they started, the better. She hoped water wasn't too far away. The hybrid felt slightly nervous about what they might find in the desert. Hopefully they wouldn't encounter anything dangerous.

Anna looked around for a second, looking to see if there was anything she could see off in the distance. She wasn't expecting to see anything, so the sight of nothing but the desert sand didn't surprise her. Her gaze returned to Zach and she shifted her wings slightly so they were in a more comfortable position. From the looks of the desert, it didn't matter which way they went first at the moment. All she could see was the empty desert; not even a plant nearby. They needed to start somewhere though. "How about we head that way first?" Anna suggested, pointing in a direction slightly to her right.

Rei paused, giving they pair wearily looks. Of course, if they were going to attack they wold have done so already. She smiled. "My name is Rei. I don't really go by anything else..." She trailed off slowly, running a shaky hand though her hair as she let out a long breath of cold steam. She lad them on, from that. Closer they got, closer and closer. The water was a head soon enough, nice and blue. Her blue feathery wings burst from her back and she started running, bare feet kicking up sand.

Itona nodded, grunting slightly as his yellow, reptilian like eyes glanced outside. That was smarter actually, since they would be sweaty from hunting. He opened his wings, shaking the out before walking over to his storage, grabbing a matchbox and putting it in his pocket before walking outside. It was cool and was yet to become hot for some time.
