----Emmaline Roe Milling. Not many have ever met her, and not many want to. Looks can be intimidating you
see. Standing stark at 5' 10", with thin bony outlines and pale skin, it is very easy for her to come across as
someone who could beat you up and steal your boyfriend. And she very well might. Roe isn't the very best with
emotions. She is cold, and it doesn't take much to get her to snap. However, she has a problem with anxiety,
but this only adds to her cold stares and silence.
----Roe believes that you shouldn't speak unless you have something valuable to say. Words have a price.
Growing up as the youngest family with 6 brothers and one sister, Roe learned that she was never really heard
in the first place. So, she taught herself to stay quiet unless she had something of true value to say. Her
unearthly loud family would normally listen, because they knew how little she talked. As a student, this shyness
caused her to quickly become cold toward others.
---- Being the youngest at 17, Roe woke one morning to find the rest of her family...gone.

Scarlet fiddled with her rings as she looked out of the dusty window of the car. She had picked up a lot of nervous habits lately; she'd have to work on that. She pushed her hand through her hair and tossed a disdainful glance at Drew, sitting at her side, and then Amanda. The couple had begun to grind on her nerves, especially since, if she knew Drew, it was mostly for show. They were dealing with an apocalyptic situation, literally. It was irritating. She looked up again, pulled her hair out of its braid and started threading her fingers through it before tying it back up. Her hands were constantly moving, she noted to herself. Another habit she'd have to work on; it made her seem weak. She cleared her throat as the car stopped and stepped gracefully out, letting the door close behind her, hopefully in Drew or Amanda's face. She didn't think either of them could get any more annoying, but then they decided to play happy families. During the month that had passed she'd built up a small underworld in trading of food and other necessary products in Coates, and she'd managed to even get a weapon for herself, a small dagger carefully concealed in her sleeve. She couldn't, like, actually use it effectively, but she was sure she'd figure it out. She came to a stop just outside the car, managed to listen to Drew's endless bravado and confidence for about thirty seconds, and then made a snarky comment under her breath and walked off. Partly to find Mars, who'd disappeared a while back and she wanted to know what he was doing, and partly to see if the town had changed in the past month. It was looking battered, the small houses unkempt and untidy, but other than that, things seemed to be working. Unlike Coates. When Drew wasn't in the direct vicinity, there was constant fights for food, weapons, whatever. It was getting old, and if the padlock on Scarlet's door got broken one more time she'd scream. She looked around, turning in slow circles on the grassy incline she was on, and then span on her heel and examined the small crew of ragtag teenagers that formed Coates' side. Oh, how sad were they.

The Plymouth Road Runner glided to the side of the road before coming to a complete halt. Mars climbed out, his brown eyes gleaming as he watched the small crowd of Coates kids, surrounding their leader. Drew was proud to have all of the things he had, enveloped in an ego that was too large to understand the coming danger. Hmm. Mars smirked, feeling the heavy gun hidden on him. Things always changed for the better. He shut the door and tossed the car keys in an arc and agilely caught them through the even intervals of the swift strides he took.
Upon catching sight of Scarlet with her shimmering red braid and desiring to chit-chat, he ambled over. “Oh, look,” he observed. A tinge of reprisal rushed through his bones. “A familiar face. It’s sort of funny, nowadays: outdated people, being tossed to the side as if they were nothing more than dirt, in exchange for the new. It’s tragic, really. That something with such a broad belief in their importance finally realizes the truth to their situation.” He smiled and went ahead to establish his hospitality by a precise, “Hello, Scarlet,” after his broad and clearly prodding statement. Mars raised an eyebrow at the dolled get-up: the constant clicking high heels, the overdramatic make up. Perhaps it was the makeup or maybe it was the rejection she had been forced to see for the past month: that Scarlet Hewett, for the very first time, wasn’t the charmer she thought she was. Whatever the reason, Mars could not detect some sort of tiredness in her demeanor; a darkness flaring within would begin sucking her mind into a mist of late night terrors.
“You know something, Scarley? You and I have the same intellect: she is definitely no good for him.” He gazed at Drew and Amanda thoughtfully. The love birds had been making nests for the last month and Mars hadn’t seen a single moment in which Amanda wasn’t twisting her skirts and begging for Drew’s conditional affection.
His lips twitched into a smirk. “But of course, you’ve always wanted Drew to grow up, right? Make a man out of the clear, decisive verbal gift he is today.” He let that roll around in her mind a moment before going on with another matter. The real reason he was going out of his way to find her in the moment of distraction from Drew’s peering eyes. Mars’s fingers somehow managed to find the silver dollar and he begun spinning it, back and forth, back and forth. “I’m sure if you have a brain, you’ve already picked up: About the selected individual Drew has Marjorie guarding?” Mars took a breath and sighed. “I’d like to know who that particular being is, Scarlet."

Cassie studied Karsten for a moment. The honesty and friendship she believed she felt coming from him was enough to let him inside her own life for a moment, allowing him to understand what she saw in the world. She decided to open that bitter heart for once in her life: “I also like Yo Yo Ma.” Then she smirked, a little sheepishly. “But I play flute. Well, I haven’t had a single lesson… but I own one, you know, a fluete. I make up the talent with intensity.” She shrugged carelessly. Life was so easy for a Youtuber. “Oh? So you’re a Christian?”
Kotka pushed his paws off of the counter and came around to circle Karsten, his left ear twitching. “Oh no.” Cassie said. “That’s not a very good sign. It means he’s about to attack.” But apparently the three-year-old dog was too tired for that, or he realized that he’d have another chance to bite Karsten on the butt, because he gave a long doggie sigh and went to curl up on the wood floor. The blonde continued to scrub and rinse the dishes. “No,” she muttered, adopting a mimic of his accent. “I don’t has any relatives.” The longing for family stirred up something in her heart, a memory of her, Mack and Tiffy in Oklahoma City. It was the only place she had really ever felt that the family had gotten together. With Tiffy being an all-time lawyer and gone in North Carolina – where Cassie was from – for most of the month and Mack, although always there and home-schooling her, very distant. He was always down in that basement. That basement that she, until the day she was attacked by those mangy coyotes, hadn’t known was full of military equipment. Another memory, of her and Wilkins sitting on her bed and looking up at the room full of colorful, paper cranes, came vaguely and she tried to shake it off.
“’70’s music, eh? So we has something in common. What about family?” She cocked her head to one side, looking up at Karsten. “Do you has any siblings?”

Hannah-Nora glared up at the fat mama. Or, if that isn’t very specific for you, the Jamaican girl squinted up at Kevon, with his newly waxed and shiny legs. She was relieved to witness this miracle after having coated Kevon in the middle of the night with a gallon-bucket of wax, some tweezers, a whole lot of peanut butter to ensure he didn’t get too hungry while under her care, and dog urine. What the dog urine was for, she had apparently forgot – but when attempting to sip this down Kevon’s throat, he had immediately tried to shock her and she had stopped. Not because she was afraid for herself, fear not! But, alas, for his own safety. What would happen if the Town found out that Kevon had murdered an innocent kid for trying to butter up his looks? Sheesh, no harm done.
Just as she was about to open her mouth to snap at him, the strange boy she had met a few weeks ago wandered up. She paused. Clearly she wasn’t used to normal conversations, or even normal people, because she held up a hand as if to say, “give me a moment,” before grunting, picking up a rock from the road and put it in Kyle’s hands. “Do ya see dat, my fend? Dat rock represents my hate fa Drew. It’s dat heavy. Which means, with my expertise, I’m gonna try and kill dis fool. I am gonna raise an army and I decided ya gonna be in it. Ya gonna be da side kick, okay? Okay, my broda!” She thumped her chest with courage, tears suddenly glistening in her eyes for the pride she felt. “And I just wanted to say… dat I am so proud dat I am here and dat I can do someting to help ya miserable American idiots.” She wiped her eyes. “God bless Jamaica. Now!” Her jaw clenched with sterness and she whirled back on Kevon’s undisciplined attitude toward her. Back to some seriousness! I—“ But as soon as she began speaking, debating why it was wrong to diss your respecting officer when she was the one who decided your fate, Jessi and Adam rolled up. Hannah-Nora’s nose flared. Adam was still very much an enemy. Her lip curled in disgust. “I suppose dere ain’t no more pizza pops, Adam? You sinner! You gonna go to Hell ‘cause you dent share dat day!”
Upon sticking out her pink tongue in defiance, she glanced over to Jessi. Now Jessi? Jessi wasn’t too bad. At least she wasn’t stuck up, as some girls—cough cough, ahem, Adam—were.
The instant she caught wind of excitement, perhaps guns and certain danger, she raced her short legs into town hall and into the office she had claimed for her own. She quickly strapped a marshmallow gun to her side, slung Lucy the snake – having been disciplined to sleep by the mini-marshmallows stuck in her nostrils and hung on a coat rack for the time being – around her waist, grabbed her chunky sunglasses and smashed them to her face, before getting muscle milk and, throwing back her head, chugged it. After a moment, she came up and wiped the milk mustache she had crawling down her face. Throwing it carelessly to Kyle – now having dubbed him the Muscle Milk Man – smiled at the distant horizon. “Tell Drew, ‘let’s tango.’”

The luggage in his left hand was beginning to strain the tendons. Wes sighed, dropping the large bag by his sneakers. The heat was blazing down on his back, causing a sheet of sweat to soak his shirt. He grabbed a fistful of Coates Academy fabric, a dark material that easily absorbed the running fluid, and attempted to wave it across his skin to air his shirt out. It was getting so hot…
He scratched his nose awkwardly and looked down the road. A surprising sight caught his attention: a girl, roughly his age, who stood admiring the awesome sight of the big, pink Barbie house. All he wanted to do was crawl into it and hide from the world. But now, she was looking at him. Wes’s jaw went slack.
Faint memories drifted through his mind of listening to his parents, deep in the night, arguing whether or not Wes would ever look up to his older brother’s expectations, being a model; another recollection of the routinely Coates kids poking him, tripping him, even going far enough to steal his clothes after getting out of a shower. All to amuse themselves. And if tried to say something, what exactly could he do? He was 13 years old and on several occasions took the matter to the principal’s, but they looked tiredly over the matter and just told him in order to win respect, you have to prove your independence. Which, in that school, meant to fight… and Wes didn’t fight. As miserable as he felt, day after day after day after day, of everyone ignoring him, he couldn’t fight back. He knew he wasn’t that strong.
Yet here was this girl actually smiling at him. He looked over his shoulder. Yes. Yes, she was smiling at him. He turned back and crossed his chubby arms reclusively. Then, he flushing furiously, he nodded a little at her polite wave.

-----Roe shuffled around her barren apartment. A few streaks of sunlight shone through the air, but the overall appearance was very dark and musty. Blankets covered each of the windows, to attempt privacy and keep people from thinking anybody lived there. It was an odd change from her huge house, which seemed to be constantly filled with people. She sighed lightly, and grabbed her pack. She only kept necessary things inside, such as granola bars, water bottles, her knife, and anything else she thought she might need. All of her valuables were stored behind a painting, in the drywall.
-----Roe shouldered her backpack and stepped out of her apartment, locking it, then walked down to the first floor. She moved around to the back exit, however, to minimize the chance of being seen. The building with her apartment was only a few blocks from town, but it seemed that nobody ever really went down the road. Before the accident, this area was mostly older residents, grandparents, living out the rest of their days. Which explained why the apartment's were so small.
-----It only took her a few minutes to reach the center of town, where she could see a few people milling about. She eyed them all warily, although none of them yet seemed to notice her there.

a girl found herself running down the empty streets, she had no reason to run, it all seemed to be in her head. the past few months, remmi-lee had found herself running from every problem she had, she wouldnt stop for no one, not even the small groups of people whom seemed to want her attention. the sixteen year old would just run straight past them as if they did not exist. at this moment she had no reason to run, her instincts were just telling her to go, get far away from everything which were really nothing. remmi would always have a moment where her mind would trick her to think something was going on, it was all to do with the source of mnemokinesis she developed. mnemokinesis was basically just a form of manipulation used to change or even remove ones memories, the power could be used to make someone believe and event had happened, it could change someones life. but there was the bad affect. somewhere inbetween her mind games the girl had led herself to believe that she were always on the run.
running wasnt an odd thing for remmi-lee. the girl had no sense of resolution, if there were a problem, she wouldnt be the one sticking around to sort it out. remmi would hit the road in a blink of an eye, she wasnt the fastest person, but not many chased after her. some people would just use it as a way to point figures at her, saying that it were her fault for all the problem, and that were true. remmi-lee would hop from one place to the next, unwrapping drama and then erasing it if she got a chance. the mind was a delicate place to work in, although remmi seemed to make it look easy. she made it look as if you could glare into someones eyes and change their whole life, take away and replace memories. anything seemed possible, you could make someones view change with a tinker of the mind. but inside the head was a web full of threads, the unraveling wasnt so easy, it took full concentration. patience.
the girl turned her head for just a moment to watch the background fade in her sight, within a second she found herself tumbling down, dragging someone along for the ride. with a slight oof and a moment of confusion, remmi-lee found herself on the cold ground, her jeans tearing at the knees. she stood fast in shame dusting off the small specks of dirt from her pants, looking down with a slight sorrow creeping up her. this was until she saw the face of her victim. she noticed him straight away, "dylan french," she spoke, identifying the boy as she held a hand out to help him from the ground. she had hang around the boy a few weeks back, ended up leaving not expecting to see him again, yet here he was. "what a pleasure," she said in a daunting tone as she rolled her eyes.

For the next few minutes things seemed to blur together as Jessi rushed about grabbing various items and my vision tunnelled out again. I was glad to be sitting on the couch, certain that had I been standing I would have collapsed on the spot, or at the very least stumbled and swayed like a drunkard. Her voice cut the air again, but my mind didn’t register what she spoke so I simply nodded as though I’d heard, even though it was obvious I hadn’t in my vacant eyes. I forced my vision to come back to me as Jessi came to a stop in front of me, string for a few minutes and making me crawl in my skin before she said we needed to go find Hannah-Nora.
I hadn’t seen much of the little girl, I had been trying my hardest to avoid her. Especially after her trying to challenge me and acting like a rabid bull. I had no idea how Kevin could put up with her, but he was doing it. I shook my head and forced a small half-hearted smirk on my face. “Oh joy.” I spoke as she ruffled my hair, and I was painfully aware of the fact that she was extra careful not to brush my scalp and I cringed a little on the inside. Nobody touched me, and it had become a painful fact. I had never desired human contact, but in the last few weeks I had begun to feel the extreme isolation that went along with my power and knowing that I would never again be able to touch somebody without killing them had crushed a tiny fragment of myself.
Jessi was already gone when I pulled myself back out of my thoughts and dragged myself to my feet and followed after her, trailing like a lost puppy. It took me several minutes to catch up with my slow pace and when I did she had questions for me. Before I knew it she was asking me if I was alright, telling me the things I already knew, and I cringed a little. Had it become that painfully obvious? For a moment I considered making a joke, but that was uncharacteristic of me and it would be as transparent as glass if I did. I dropped my eyes from hers to the ground, wondering just what had become of me. Kevin seemed to be having the time of his life in this FAYZ, but it had broken me down completely. Here I had always thought I was the stronger of us, even though I was younger by three minutes. But no, it was Kevin. He had even seemed to get his anxiety under control.
“Worried?” I echoed vacantly. “Why worry about me?” Maybe my voice was a little cold, but I didn’t want her to worry. I didn’t need anyone to worry about me. It wasn’t as though anybody could help me anyways. There wasn’t exactly a cure out there for nightmares and a disease labelled ‘nobody can touch me without dying’. But I had to say no more because at that moment we bumped into Hannah-Nora with another young boy and my brother. I stopped dead in my tracks, Jessi stumbled backwards, nearly tripping and grabbing my shoulder for support. I was as painfully aware of the touch as she must’ve been, knowing only a few layers of clothes had prevented her heart from stopping. Good think I’d taken to wearing clothes that covered most of my body save my neck and face.
“Drew is back in town.” Oh, so that’s what it was. The only response we got from the little girl though was an accusation about pizza pops, clearly she hadn’t forgiven me for that. Oh well, she was a little kid, she would hold on to the grudge for the next three years probably. After that she was off running to town hall with her new little friend in tow. I arched and eyebrow questioningly a Kevin. He was already looking at me, his face furrowed into a frown with that knowing look in his eyes. “We don’t know anything about it, well I don’t think so anyways. All I know is that we were walking. I saw them near the center of town, I don’t think anyone else did. But Drew seemed to have that little girlfriend of his heading towards the police station. I don’t know what she expects to find there, I’m pretty sure that little justice-punk, Salem has turned that place into her own little twilight zone since discovering her power. Wild card that one is. I don’t even want to mess with her, no idea how Jared puts up with her.” I gave him an incredulous look, rolling my eyes and pointing in the direction Hannah-Nora had taken off in. “You’re one to talk.” “Shut up.”
With that being said he started off in the direction of his team of tiny, deranged minions. Although he paused for a moment as he brushed past me, whispering in my ear. “Adam, I know you don’t want to, but get some sleep. You need it; it’s obvious there’s something wrong with you.” And like that he was gone again. I cringed a little and turned to Jessi. “Well, I guess we should go deal with Drew?”█

During the past month of this phenomenon everyone had begun calling the “FAYZ” Hannah-Nora had basically become the bane of my existence. The tiny demoness had gone out of her way to make my life a living hell, from atrocious pranks, plots for world domination and now her latest fiasco, waxing my legs. It was a nightmare. Granted I had been just as devious when I was her age and even now most of the time I participated in her pranks and joked with her about taking over the world. But the last one had crossed a certain boundary.
It had been the middle of the night, maybe a week ago that she had snuck into my room whilst I was asleep. I had awoken to a strange feeling on my legs, and there had been little Hannah-Nora pouring a bucket of wax over my legs and trying to pluck out hair with tweezers. Needless to say, I had freaked out and nearly electrocuted the girl in the process, instead direction the charge through the walls of the house but quickly darting out my hand. The power in the house had surged to life for a moment before dying down again. The little girl had fled the room and I was left with no other choice but to go through the painful process of peeling the wax off of my legs. I couldn’t even fathom why girls subjected themselves to such pain. But ever since that night Hannah-Nora had been permanently bared from the room, making sure to push whatever I could in front of it so she wouldn’t be able to sneak in again.
Although Hannah-Nora, myself and Quinn(?) had all been staying in the same house together, it hadn’t been my house. Upon talking with my brother and having him reveal to me everything that was going on with him I had simply nodded and relocated our small squad to a house about a block away. Far enough away that we wouldn’t hear his screaming in the night, but close enough that we could easily go back and forth to each other. I was concerned for my brother, he wasn’t himself anymore. He’d always been a rebellious sort, always getting into fights on the street. But now he hardly functioned, underneath the layers of dark clothes he always wore he had become thin and bony, even his face had become somewhat gaunt and there was a haunted look in his eyes every time he looked at me, as though he were talking to a ghost.
And seeing him now, after not having seen him for nearly a week, he seemed to have degraded even more. The slight purplish bruises he’d always had under his eyes had become more pronounced, and his eyes themselves had become lifeless and dull. Jessi too looked a little run-down but that could be expected seeing as she had people running to her all day long to tend to their wounds. I hadn’t bothered her once, nor did I ever intend to. My wounds would eventually heal anyways. I traced my finger along the new silvery-pink scar that ran along the top of my cheekbone absently, a bad habit I had picked up on. I informed the two of what I knew and then started off towards town hall.
I jogged to catch up with the two little wretches, reaching town hall in no time. I had to marvel about how differently everybody’s powers seemed to affect them, mine had given me almost too much energy to contain and my ADHD level had spiked through the roof. Whereas Adam’s had sucked the life out of him. The strange girl Salem had taken to creating little pockets of space in town where rules of reality didn’t apply, and certain buildings in town had become confusing death traps that even I with my taste for adventure had stayed away from.
To me the FAYZ was almost like a dream come true, after spending so much of my life playing video games, this was almost like one come to life. I revelled in it, exploring and scavenging, and just doing whatever I could. The entirety of the FAYZ had become as well known to me as the back of my hand and I knew just how the boundaries went and all the things in between. Other than Salem’s little death traps and Coates, no place was off limits to me. Although I had tried my hardest to keep my power to myself, mostly out of fear of become the town’s energy supply, and I didn’t fancy charging ipod and batteries all day long, the way Jessi patched people up and Adam went about helping people with trivial problems. No sir, that was not for me.
Inside the town office I found Hannah-Nora preparing the go to war, snake slung around her waist like an ammunition belt, a toy gun at her side, and shoving too-big sunglasses on her face. I laughed at her as I entered the room. “Let’s tango?” I howled, doubling over at the sight of her. “You’re joking right? He will tear you apart!” My tone although still joking, had a little bit of a serious edge to it. “You girl, need to plan better than just barrelling in, marshmallows loaded. You aren’t going to take him down that way, he’ll see you coming a mile away and then just pick you up and toss you aside like a piece of trash. No, I say we sneak into that school of theirs a sabotage it. I’m pretty sure they still have power up there, but I can see to it that they don’t.” I wiggled my eyebrows playfully. “Plus, I can fry the batteries of those precious SUV’s they seem to favour. And if we take witch-girl, Salem with us, she can turn that school into another one of her little warp-zone playgrounds.” █

Life was good, that was all I had to say on the matter. I hadn’t become involved with either side or their plots; instead I had been my own one-man force of anti-rules. Since the beginning I had lost my obsession with bringing culprits to justice and had instead been playing with my power. I had yet to grow tired of it, and over the past month people had begun avoid me like the plague. There were whispers and hushed tones, calling me the ‘witch girl’ and claiming that anyone who came near me would become cursed. I found the accusations both preposterous, and ironic. We now lived in a world full of people with superpowers, and they were afraid of me because I could bend reality?
The town had become a playground for my experiments; the hospital now appeared to not exist, although I had only made the exterior of the building invisible. A previous impossibility made possible by my powers. To most people the building no longer existed and nobody could find the entrance, although the occasional kid would run into the invisible walls and become stumped. Along with the hospital, a grocery store downtown had all but melted, the walls having been liquefied and warped all that remained of the building was a solid, yet gooey-looking pile of, well, everything all fused together. There were numerous other buildings around town filled with invisible walls, liquid stone floors, flaming rain and all sorts of things my mind could conjure. The latest of my toys had become the local police station.
I had been here for about three days now, tampering with the building. The front door, was now a steel sponge, soft, and bouncy, yet impervious to damage. The hallway upon entering now had glass floor that revealed a pit of swirling lava underneath, though the lava was nothing more than an illusion in the glass. Most of the walls had a melting appearance and there were more than a few tricks doors that opened to walls, and real doors that appeared as water or blood running down the walls. The entire building had become a maze of unrealistic things that would test anyone’s sanity. What good fun it was. Even now I was in the main office, leaning back in a chair made of stormy, swirling clouds, and my feet were propped on a normal looking desk.
Yes the police station was so far my proudest masterpiece, although it could be argued by many whether or not my sanity had stayed in tact over the past month. But yes, I was still very much sane and functional, I was simply bored and playing with my power gave me something to do. How Jared had stuck with me for so long I had no idea, even now he was across the room from me, doing his own thing. But there he was, and I was grateful for his company, glad that at least one person had stuck around with me throughout the past month and my crazy antics. He had definitely grown on me, and I hoped he would be by my side for a long time.

My name is Imran Ebbe Hauer, and I'm from Düsseldorf, Germany. My great aunt always scolded me on my temper. That's one huge flaw, I suppose. But nevermind that. I'm fifteen years of age, and moved to this rundown town a few years back, before the accident. I still have my accent. I still slip up and use German. I still miss home. But I guess this was now my new home. My great aunt dumped me here and left just as quickly, desperate to get back to her precious books. My mother left me shortly after I was born. My father was close after. So I'd been dumped with an old crotchety bookworm. My mum's aunt. She hated kids. I hated books. We were polar opposites. Everyone told me I'd get over it, but I never did. Never bothered to. But, I liked it better when she didn't look at me. I was somewhat relieved when she'd disappeared. The only attention I earned out of her was food, which will continue to be the one thing I miss. I'm pretty nosy. But for better connotation I'll put "curious" down. Curiosity always tugged me into trouble, and my mouth and temper didn't help me out of it. I don't really care what most people think, only my own opinions. Sometimes if I'm feeling generous or charitable will I listen. But most of the time? Heh, yeah, no, don't count on it. Temperaments and constant slip ups. My thick German accent. Someone say recipe for disaster ten times fast. And my whole psychometry thing I have? Yeah, it doesn't really make fitting in any easier.

THE PRIVILEGE OF A LIFETIME IS BEING WHO YOU ARE.
xoxoxo Bucky took a deep breath, exhaling slowly with his nose flaring. Drew was a bit shifted but, he just assumed he had to take the chance. "I guess I'll join you and your "crew", He raised his fingers up into quotation marks. "Augmentation; that's my power. I haven't really gotten the hang of it yet. His voice totally changed from hostile to friendly as he formed his unsure frown into a giddy grin. Happy-go-lucky, and that he was. "Could I get everyone's name? I would like to get to know everyone before I trust them. Bucky kind of took a leap of faith here but, who cares. He is sort of bipolar... Anyways he took note of everyone's facial features and smiled at each and every one of them. For some reason he instantly trusted Drew now. Maybe its a bad decision. (sorry, wb)

ared sat quietly in the corner, winning a sudoku puzzle worthy of champions. His focus was on the game, but subconscious mind thought about his what his life had become since the disappearance, but more specifically, what it and he had become in the last month.
wingswashereHe was now in complete control of his matter phasing ability. If he wanted to, he could have sunk down to the center of the earth just then. The emotions threw him off a bit though. Feeling fear or anger sent him sinking through cement faster and faster each time. Whatever Cassie's parents did to him, it linked directly with those emotional states.
wingswashereAnd then there was the matter of the Youtubers themselves. Jared hadn't seen Jessi or Cassie in nearly two weeks. He had no idea where they were or what they were doing. Actually, that wasn't true. He knew Cassie was getting close to Karsten. Jessi had teamed up with Adam Darko to fight some rebellion against Drew and the Coates kids. The secrets of Jessi Petrova he still didn't fully know. All he knew was that those secrets had drawn a line between them; Cassie and him on one side and Jessi on the other. Karsten probably hadn't drawn another line between him and Cassie, but he found it better to believe that he had. Maybe Cassie had done it, either to protect Karsten from Jared or to protect herself from Danny. Maybe Jared himself had done it. The truth was, he didn't know. All he knew is that he wished he could build bridges over those Hell-reaching trenches.
wingswashereHe took a glance up at Danny as he filled in the last number of the puzzle. Jared was a brain, he wouldn't deny that. He was the top of nearly all his classes, and an Einstein of all sorts of computers. His plans after high school ranged from founder of a massive technological company or super-hacker for the government. Both were actually within realistic means. But, for all of his genius, he still hadn't figured out how he had gotten Danny to, A) talk to him, or B) stick with him. What really scared him, other than her ability to probably kick his butt to the ground in two seconds, was that she was all he really had now. Cassie and Jessi both had seemed to have pushed him away for reasons unknown. Danny was all he had, and that was the truth. The question that plagued him, the one that popped into his mind just before he fell asleep each night, was what he would do if she decided to leave him too.
wingswashereNo. No no no no no. Not again. He wasn't going to let his mind go there. He had to refocus, had to forget. "What building are we going to melt next?" he asked. "I'd like to have private access to the computer store up the road."

xxxxxxxxxAs the numbers swarmed around in his head, things in the outside world began happening. He could make out the patter of feet hitting cement hard, as if they were running. He couldn't snap out of his daze though to realize that there was someone about to ram into him head on. His eyes focused more on the ground than anything, and so when the person ran into him, he found the ground rising up to him. Pain surged through his chest and his eyes flashed up quickly before there was a loud thud as his butt collided with cement.
xxxxxxxxx"What the.." he tried catching his breath that was knocked out of him. The numbers in his mind scrambled and disappeared. Slowly he pushed his glasses back into place and glared at the figure that now stood above him. The familiar features of this lady struck him. Where had he seen her before? Suddenly the memory struck him. She was with him for sometime in a small group, strolling along the streets, before ditching. His eyes narrowed at the sight of her, but he took the offered hand.
xxxxxxxxx"Hello...Remmi - Lee." he spoke in a sort of growl. "What a pleasure it is to see you too. It has been a long time, seems that you knocked me right off my feet!" a disgusting smirk grew on his lips after her spoke. He found himself quite funny that time. "Getting into trouble, are we? Is that why you were running?"
xxxxxxxxxSlowly his hand moved down to his pants and he began wiping off the dirt that had appeared on them. That it when he noticed the gaping hole in the back of his shirt. A grunt escaped from him as he pushed a finger through the hole. Great...my favorite shirt too! he thought angrily.
