Silver Shadows:
He nodded at Virvas words and he wholeheartedly agreeded with her. What was the point in having a guild if you weren't prepared to defend your people? His whole guild was built on protecting his people from the dragons that often attacked. This is what his members were made for. If he turned away from this he knew he would never be able to stand before them again. "The Order will assist as well." He said, nodding to virva.

Kyo gave a warm smile, the first of his all day. "Thank you." he mumbled, cheeks flushing a bit. He always tended to do that at the slightest compliment, an embarrassing habit. When he heard Virva speak, he saw everyone who didn't wish to go on the quest clear out, much to his amusement. The young man stayed put, knowing that he wanted to go. Besides, he knew he'd be useful, and he yearned for some action in his new life in Elder Tale. The brunette nodded to Espella, and then to Virva respectfully before taking a step foward, thrusting himself out a bit. "I shall go, if needed." he said in a confident tone, although he was quite nervous inside his eyes did not show it.

Kuro watched as the scenes unfolded in front him. Mostly people with no courage what so ever were being called out on their cowardliness and they left. "If they could not face up to the challenge why did they even so up in the first place?" Thorne whispered into Kuro's ear. Kuro just shrugged and continued to listen to some of the people who were taking charge. Any guild that doesn't wish to participate in any way whatsoever has no reason to stay, anyone whose interested please come forward." A girl spoke, obviously a guild leader and she did not seem happy.' Well who would be happy in this situation?' Thorne thought to himself then he looked down at Kuro who was slightly smiling. 'Of course Kuro would find this funny or something!' Thorne rolled his eyes at his thought. However Thorne started to almost turn around and go. He knew that Kuro probably wouldn't want to join in this fight, but to Thorne's surprise Kuro stayed in his spot. He even took a few steps forward to join some of the people who were staying. Thorne's jaw practically dropped. His brother the most anit-social, cold hearted person (on the outside) was willing to join people and help protect other people. Thorne just couldn't believe it and of course he followed after his brother and stood next to him. Thorne watch Kuro in the corner of his eye as he changed into his full raid party outfit. Now Kuro was wearing his almost elegant looking white robe that had a golden belt on his hips. The belt hooked to a golden fabric that fell from his hips. His robe also had long sleeves that got wider the closer it got to his hands. The robe also had a white hood which he normally put up over his head. He had relatively no armor what so ever, but he did have his wooden staff. Which just put the whole outfit together. Now Thorne could see why Kuro was in such demand. It was because he was needed. A healer is always great to have on the battlefield. Kuro looked up to Thorne and gave a nod to him. Which Thorne understand as 'We're joining this raid.' and Thorne nodded back to his brother. From there they waited to see what the guild leaders would say next. Thorne would've changed to his raid gear, but he was actually already wearing it.

Re: tsukiyo + hikari 001

Postby starrine » Mon Sep 21, 2015 8:50 am

        ♕ tsukiyo
      male -- 18 yrs -- lvl 91 -- human -- swashbuckler -- location: ylisse
Tsukiyo's masked gaze flickered over the crowd as the meeting rolled along, now sitting in the shadows once more. He didn't dare step out and volunteer himself, but he definitely wanted to tag along and at least watch the raid; if something happened, he had to be there to see it; he was a supplier of a few particular information brokers, of course. Lifting his head as the werecat he'd spotted earlier stepped forward, the edges of his lips twitched upwards. Interest. The action immediately took place, and he sat up, brows raised. Of course, he still made expressions, even if no one could see them. The tall, dark-clothed boy shifted a bit in the shade of a few trees, almost impressed with the girl.

He stood up, and wandered around a bit, narrowed eyes peering this way and that. A few more uninteresting-looking people joined the raid, including a druid that looked way too low a level to fight. He rested his hands on the handles of his obsidian-bladed swords, and felt at the familiar hilt. It was almost comforting, in a way; as long as he had these dual blades, he was safe. Mostly, safe. His thoughts were cut off once more as the pink-haired guild leader announced once more to step forward if anyone was interested. He watched as more of the crowd faded off, resisting the urge to make a sarcastic remark. Walking along the sidelines still, he almost hoped that someone would approach him and ask to join.
It was too boring to tag along with no one to keep an eye on him.

        ♔ hikari
      female -- 16 yrs -- lvl 43 -- elf -- druid -- location: yliss
A young blue-haired elf watched as the meeting started. Chaos seemed to break out at first, which then smoothed into a speech by a guild leader. After that, the crowd dissipated, and she watched, as what looked like more than half of the players left the area, not willing to bother with the goblin king. She, herself was on the edge, unsure if she should go or not. Everyone who looked like they were going had pretty high levels.. And she was still only level 43; it was a bit troublesome to level up by fighting monsters when your main class was healing. The girl took a deep breath, thinking on it. She had her pearl staff, which almost tripled her attack power, but.. That was still a bit far off from the level 90 players. If she actually wore her armor for the fight, that would give her quite the boost in defense, but..

She pulled open her menu, quickly equipped all of her armor, and thought it over one more time. With a half-dizzy, hurried breath in, Hikari took a step forward, hestitated, and then took another. "I.. I v-volunteer," she stuttered hastily, lifting her pearl staff, and trying to ignore the fact that her heart was exploding out of her chest. "I'm a druid, I can provide healing support." She was only there to provide healing support, right? She wouldn't be a burden if she wasn't on the battlefield, so.. Why did she still get the feeling that something bad was going to happen?

With the overwhelming amount of bodies now mostly dissipated, Espella could rate the overall morale of the crowd and those who volunteered with a higher degree of certainty. There was fear coursing through the entire meeting area. In fact, fear was an understatement. The more certain it seemed that a party of players was actually going to challenge the coronation, the more fear coalesced into a sense of terror. It was nearly tangible; the air thick and heavy. Despite all of this uneasiness however, Kyo still volunteered. It would be good to have several healing class adventurers along on a raid of this size. Through all the commotion of the cowardly leaders leaving, Espella caught sight of someone beneath the shade of a grove of trees just outside the square. "Hey Kyo, do you know that player?" Espella kept her voice low and her body language neutral so as not to alert the stranger that she was paying attention to them. Whether he was friend or foe, Espella couldn't judge from this distance. Their bodily appearance eliminated the possible animal races such as wolf fang, fox tail and werecat. As well as the lack of markings meant they couldn't be one of the race of rituals. From this distance it was hard to tell if they were an elf, a human or a half-alv, but those were the only three options left. Their class was another difficult thing to discern. Though their clothing wasn't indicative of their class, the dual blades did suggest they were either an assassin of the sword dancer class like her, or a swashbuckler. Even with the space separating Espella and the mysterious adventurer she could still see the strange mask that covered their face. That meant if they were a half-alv she would never know unless they took their mask off.

Kyo's eyes darted to Espella when she said something very quietly to him. He scanned the area until his focus fell on a well hidden figure, which he was certain she was speaking of. Sure, he was knowledgeable of politics and most of the guild leaders as well as their second in command, but he knew not of that player. You could practically see the gears turning in his head as he narrowed down possibilities from appearance alone. The 15-year-old tugged subconsciously at his robe before blinking, allowing his gaze to fall back on Espella. "No." he kept his response almost inaudible and as terse as possible. The kannagi took a few steps back as if it were natural, considering he had stepped forward only a few moments ago. His eyes were now on Virva, half listening just incase the Valkyrie guild leader spoke again. "My guess would be a spy. Probably guildless, or doing some form of work." This time when he spoke, he replaced the S in the words he said with TH to avoid making the high pitched hissing noise when he whispered.

As the town square slowly emptied of cowards (good riddance in Virva's opinion) more people began to step forward to volunteer on this quest. With each volunteer Virva felt more of a smile begin to appear on her face, perhaps there was still some spines left in Yliss after all, though they certainly didn't come from many guilds. So far there was a good balance of high and low level adventurers who volunteered and from what she could see there was at least three healers among them putting Virva a little more at ease. So far there were seven people who wanted to participate (including herself) but they'd probably need at least one or two more before they set out towards The Forest of the Lost. Bitting her bottom lip in thought Virva decided on a plan of action, looking towards her second in command Virva smiled "Espella, do you mind taking all volunteers back to the guild hall? It'll be easier to discuss any plans there." she said adding on the last bit as a small explanation, "I think I want to stay and see if anyone else wants to join." she added knowing that her friend may have a few words to say about that particular plan. Really though Virva didn't see any danger in staying be herself, not only was it mid-morning in a crowded town square, but if anyone did try to attack her the royal guard would be on them before they could even blink. Looking at Silver Virva smiled hoping that he would agree to her plan, not that they had many other options with a large party forming.

Friday Lupine: Female: Age; 15 : Fox-tail : Summoner: Guildless : Crushless:Theme Song

"It never dawned on us that life is unpredictable, that one day, one of us could suddenly cease to exist and what then? What would be the joy in having left so much unsaid? With what memories would we fill the empty silence?"

Not wishing to join the quest, as it would distract her from her current one, she sighed as she exited into the outskirts. She may have been exhausted earlier but her frustration at her current predicament seemed to change that. Pulling out the whip she kept looped into her belt she looked around for some low level monsters to vent on. Icarus took flight and scanned the area in search of said creaturea and his eyes saw a brier weasel. Squaking/ roaring the Griffin pointed it out to friday who swiftly used Icarus' s attack. A golden gem, once hidden on his neck began to glow and, flying evenly, he used it to shook a laser at the beast. Watching as it's hp fell to zero she smiled at Icarus as It broke apart into pixels. "Good job buddy." She said, petting his head.

Riley Lupine: Male: Age; 17 : Fox-tail : Assasin : Guildless : Crushless:Theme Song

"Memory is all we are. Moments and feelings, captured in amber, strung on filaments of reason. Take a man’s memories and you take all of him. Chip away a memory at a time and you destroy him as surely as if you hammered nail after nail through his skull."

He didn't know anything. He didn't know why he kept coming back to this place. He didn't know why he looked like he did, heck. He didn't know where this place even was! Yet everytime he tried to leave, something kept drawing him back. Feeling his anger build up he lashed out at a nearby tree, slicing it in two and watching angrily as it broke apart. Not feeling satisfied he snarled. Lashing out at the next tree he watched again as this one fell as well. Still he was not satisfied. He continued this cycle until a clearing had been made from his destruction. Scowling, he went and sat in the middle, anger still present but not taking over as it had before.

Moonlight Echoe: Female: Age; 20 : Werecat : Kanagi: Guild; The Valkyries : Crushless:Theme Song

"There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends. I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature."

She stayed back in the Valkyrie guild hall after espella and virva had left. She had no doubt that her guild would be fighting in it so she had prepared arrows for herself and some food to keep the others hunger bar from going low. Sighing she rubbed har hands together, entertaining herself as the fur came off of them. She was completely bored. She had pickedbup everything she though she would need and got some stuff for the others as well. She had polished her armor and sharpened arrows. Now all she could do was wait. (Open)

Silver Shadows: Male: Age; 18 : Human : Warrior : The Order Of The Guardians : Crushless:Theme Song

"A man can only lead when others accept him as their leader, and he has only as much authority as his subjects give to him. All of the brilliant ideas in the world cannot save your kingdom if no one will listen to them.."

He smiled to himself as he watched others volunteer. He wished more would offer to come but he certainly wasn't going to force it upon anybody. Listening as virva spoke he quickly nodded in agreement. "Yes. I think that is a wonderful plan." He said calmly walking to where espella was standing. As much as he wished to stay with virva, he knew his place was representing his guild. He also felt that he might be needed, seeing his skills in strategy had saved himself and his guild members from dragons often back home.

The actions of those less cowardly players as well as the words her leader spoke above the crowd's chatter brought a smile to Espella's lips. It was comforting to know that not all the adventurers were egotistical cowards who simply preened themselves, too scared to take any action to help others. This was a good mission for the lower level adventurers to experience a large-scale raid and get XP while the higher levels help them out. "Of course, Virva." When she was speaking with Virva in public settings, Espella was always careful to use the proper respectful tone of voice. She never betrayed their friendship to strangers and was careful to keep Virva's image as leader as clear as possible so the others knew who was in charge. However, when she addressed the whole group of volunteers, Espella adjusted the volume and tone so that everyone could hear and no one would argue with her. "If everyone would follow me, we're going to the guild building. It's not very far for those who have traveled from outside Yliss." She walked to the front of what was a soon-to-be raid party and headed off towards the Valkyries' guild hall.

Once inside, the atmosphere was busier and more crowded than Espella was used to. The second-in-command flicked her ears back and forth, trying to adjust to such a large group of strangers in what was essentially her and Virva's territory. It was hard to say when the guild leader would be back and that made Espella worry about some of their recruits getting impatient and leaving. Now the nervousness had become too much for her ears to handle alone. She began pacing around the guild hall, back and forth and back and forth, until she bumped into one of the guild's own members, Moonlight Echoe, or as their friends liked to call her, Mooney. "Oh, hi. How are you doing?" None of the members within the guild were strangers to Espella. She may not speak with all of them on a regular basis, but she at least knows all their names and classes/builds. However, Mooney was one of the members that Espella knew fairly well. They had spoken on several occasions in the past, and as such Espella knew that this large gathering was probably strange for the archer as well.

Nere tags Liin

Nere was walking in a forest just outside of Yliss, blue hair trailing in the breeze. Nere liked walking in almost soundless low level forests like this one. as she was walking she heard a slight rustling noise, and following her curiosity she came to a tree with a person climbing it. they were about to put their foot on a slippery knot when Nere taking a few rushing steps forward, called out,"h-hey you're going to fall!"
