Tyler walked over to the buffet, "Right? It's pretty cool," he said "now let's see what we have to eat today." He lifted the lid off of one of the trays to find delicious breaded shrimp inside. Tyler picked one up with his fingers and popped in his mouth, appreciating its taste. He opened some of the other lids, finding some vegetables and other seafood. He looked over at Charlie, another shrimp in his mouth, "Look, it's seafood night!" He exclaimed happily. He began purring, another idiosyncrasy that came with his Eknos form. Seafood and cats were kind of a given formula. Tyler, unable to control himself, let his panther ears and tail pop out. He grabbed a bit of fish and chewed on it, "This is really delicious Charlie."

"Sure is" she agreed and walked toward the buffet, grabbing a plate she walked down the side lifting various tops and piling her plate with fish, breaded shrimp, and hush puppies. She thought she could hear a low rumble coming from somewhere she listened carefully and pinpointed the noise coming from Tyler. " Are you..purring?" She asked with an amused look as she continued down the line. When he said her name she only glanced up, but it soon became a stare as she noticed black cat ears poking out of his wavy dark hair. Shook her head she couldn't help but laugh realizing of course why he was so excited for the seafood "I was right, he is part of the feline family but what animal?" She wondered and continued on. Towards the end she lifted a tray crab legs appeared claws and all reaching towards her. She smiled looking up "Look, Crab legs!" She said taking a few and placing them on her plate. Satisfied she stepped away and walked to one of the tables and sat down, looking to him still up there still she noticed his tail poking out behind him and laughed softly.

Tyler piled a bunch of seafood on his plate and sat across from Charlie, "Panther." he said, answering her unspoken question. He delved into his food snatching a crab leg from Charlie's plate. Tyler's tail flicked back and forth, showing his happiness. The food was unusually good today, or maybe his mood was affecting the taste. He watched Charlie carefully, observing her with his panther senses. She was very pretty and her skin was flawless, and her hair was really nice and long and curly. "You should let my brother do your hair sometime, for some reason he's really good at it." Tyler told her, waving a crab leg around in a circle. He wished he was back in the real world, away from this place. He would show Charlie a right fun time, buy her a pretty dress with diamonds on it, take her out dancing. But that life was gone, Tyler still had his money, but no way to access it.

She had just popped a piece of shrimp into her mouth when he said 'Panther' confused for a second she gave him and strange look before she remembered what she had thought just moments ago "How did you?..." she asked. But the delicious taste of the shrimp flooding her mouth soon made her forget the question. As she was grabbing another one she gently smacked his hand as he stole her crab leg, "Really? I told you where they were!" she said tossing a piece of shrimp playfully at him. She noticed him watching her and squirmed under his gaze, she wanted to look away away but instead she boldly returned his gaze with an arched brow. But a second later she was laughing "My hair?" she asked picking up a messy strand of her dirty blonde hair. She ususally kept it safely contained beneath her beanie letting it tumble down her shoulders and back. "Well if he wants to he can I've got nothing here to do it myself so why not?" she said shrugging. Looking around the room she noticed all the empty tables, she wondered where all the other people are in this place "Perhaps they're being tested...or like James suffering from it" she thought sadly and turned back giving her attention back to Tyler.

Tyler caught the shrimp he tossed at him in his mouth. Charlie seemed a little shocked about his answer, and then suddenly remembered his power. "Oh, um, I have this weird power where I can read anyone's mind, but only when they're thinking about me." he said. He took on a distant look, his eyes growing dark, remembering how that had came about. The Whitecoats, after they had transformed him, turning him into half of a beats, had started their tests again. The needle they has used was large, sharp, and scary. He remembered being strapped down to a cold, metal table, the leather restraints digging into his skin. They had injected him with something metallic, in the base of his neck. He had a scar there. When Tyler had found out about his power, he freaked. Eventually he learned to live with it, and found it to be a useful way to communicate with James.

"Wow that's pretty awesome..I'll have to watch my thoughts" she said picking up a crab leg and breaking the rough shell after a short struggle to get to the meat inside. Using a fork she carefully picked it out and popped it into her mouth, savouring the tatse and swallowed. "Does your brother have the same power?" she asked curiously.

{{Sorry for such a short post. I was thinking that Charlie doesn't have her power right now and whitecoats are about to come in and take her to inject her with it. What do you think?}}

Will stopped suddenly, growling quietly to himself. He often kept his animal traits present while on the run, seeing as how they would often help him. His wolf ears were much more sensitive than his human ears, and that fact had often saved him from attacks. His tail sometimes helped him balance, but not that much. Lastly, his teeth served many purposes. Though he was still a human, he had grown accustomed to being rather... feral. He would always try to cook his meat, but sometimes had to eat it raw. He slept anywhere and everywhere. His senses were sharpened by all this, and right now they were on high alert. Thus, he headed towards a large tree and started climbed. Just as he cleared the bottom row of branches and hid himself amongst the leaves, a predator walked below him. Will remained silent and motionless, and it passed by. Now, of course, he would have to be severely careful so he wouldn't get discovered again.

{ That's a good idea, having Charlie taken away. Then Will could burst in, him and Tyler could go after Charlie, and then James could either get left behind, or stumble his way out. What do you guys think of that? }
