Shaylene smiled as he plopped back in the seat beside her and her attention was suddenly pulled to the side as the Head Master began to list off different names. She looked around a moment. It was strange because almost none of the people who were called were currently in the room. She hummed softly. "Where's everybody at?" she mumbled softly, having settled down a bit, her cheeks returned to their normal color, maybe just the slightest bit pink. She couldn't help but smile to herself a bit. She had a date. With a cute and nice boy too. She looked over as Ravenclaws were called and she noticed Skylar looked as if she were going to faint. She bit her lip, half wanting to run up there and help support the girl. She bit her lip, watching with a bit of anxiety coiling in her stomach at the thought of the girl falling or fainting or anything of the sort. She knew the girl was shy and this was a lot to take in.

Atticus hadn't gotten very far when he heard his name announced. He took in a deep breath and he walked back into the Great Hall, ducking his head a bit as he began walking towards the front where the other competitors were lining up. As they called Antonio's name he felt a fire burn hot in his stomach. He had to win now. He lifted his head up a bit more confidently, casting a quick glare in his direction before Skylar's name was called. He felt his stomach flip and he licked his lips softly, noticing the girl was trembling like a leaf. He had been right behind her and he put a gentle hand on the back of her elbow, leaning closer to her so he could speak in her ear. "Come on, don't be afraid, just walk up here and smile." he murmured, helping her up the stairs and he stood next to the other Slytherins as well as beside the Ravenclaws.

Rowan chuckled a bit. She herself was a bit dirty in ash, but mainly on her favorite converse. There was also a bit on her t-shirt and jeans. "Guess we should," she replied before following him. Sighing a bit, she crossed her arms, watching him to make sure he didn't fall over.

"You speak Russian?" she asked, suddenly curious. Seeing that he probably needed some help even reaching the entrance to the Great Hall, she walked over to him, putting an arm around his waist and up to the shoulder opposite of her. ""There, maybe we'll actually make it to the Great Hall in time to get the left overs," she teased, smirking a bit as she did so.


(Sucky post.. Should have no more of those for the rest of tonight from now on hopefully. AND AGH SO FAR BEHIND. Rowan's next post will acknowledge what the headmistress said and I'll just pretend she had already put her name in it xP)

Rowan looked over at Pepper as she woke up, and immediately a sense of relief overwhelmed him as he sighed and drank his pumpkin juice, allowing the cool liquid to flow down his throat. When Clark walked in, he nodded a slight welcome before resting his head back again, letting the tick of a nearby clock lull him a bit before some burst through the room, asking for Pepper to go to the Dining Hall. He calmed down a bit, probably thinking they were only going to take her down to get something to eat. Then, immediately his face became serious. They were announcing the winners for the Founders Tournament, weren't they? His heart literally skipped a beat then, and when he tried to stand up he felt the pillow calling back to him, but he ignored his head. "Pepper!" He called out, his voice filled with worry for her as he stood up and wrapped her in his arms, pulling her head against his chest and trying not to hurt her as he held her close. He bit his lip as he held her close, and he breathed out heavily, his heart thumping in his chest at the thought of worry for her getting hurt in the Tournament. But sooner or later he was forced to let go, and to let her walk out of the infirmary, leaving him in shock in his bed with Monroe and Clark.

Skylar almost jumped out of her skin when Atticus grabbed her elbow. She let him lead her thankful she didnt have to think. She bit her lower lip trying her hardest not to cry. Her big blue eyes looked at him, swimming in tears she refused to let go of. "I...I..i didnt want to sign up." She croaked softly her bottom lip trembling. There was no backing out now, but she wasnt brave, this wasnt what she did. Fear closed her throat and she couldnt handle it anymore. She let out a small whimper and then raced down the row between the the tables and out the doors of the Dinning Hall, silence watching her as she went. Tears now streamed freely down her cheeks. She hadnt wanted to sign up! It was all Antonio's fault she had let his charm get to her and now she was in a Tournament. After dinner she would see if she could drop out, they could say she was ill. Anything but she couldnt do this.

Monroe watched as the professor got into her face. Her face went pale when she mentioned Potter, the Minister of Magic who could easily break her wand. If that did happen, Monroe would make sure to break Rowan's wand and she would break every one he got. She then looked over at Clark. "Yeah I think we're all okay." she muttered, and lied down. She felt slightly dizzy, and her wounds where throbbing.

Monroe watched Clark and then Madam Promfey walked to her. She just tried to ignore her, looking at her burnt arm, ankle, and skin. It was black, which made her cringe at the look. Monroe then turned to Clark. "Its fine.. whatever. The centaurs are nice.. but then again we killed one of their own. 200 points lost? Oh, its all fine its not like our houses will murder us, after all, I did burn down the forest so thats more to put on the Slytherins about Iris. And then we have detention every day for the rest of the year with magical creatures." she said, and did a laugh. She didn't know if it was real or forced, but it came out naturally. "Oh, everythings dandy." she said sarcastically. Monroe looked at Pepper, and sighed. Nobody had asked her to the dance, looks like she would be going alone.

when the head mistress came out, heyden whistled and grinned. "i love you, head mistress!" he called, giving her a thumbs up. the names being called off ringed some memories. for example, he knew of atticus's existence. since heyden had no enemies (or so he thought) he considered everyone a friend. so when atticus's name was called, the blond clapped frantically. then awkwardly stopped when he noticed the guy wasn't there. he set his hands down, waiting and waiting. hufflepuff was called. hey, that was pretty nice! they got two of their best people! he made a mental note to congratulate them. once antonio's name was called, he started whistling. "atta'boy! yeah, prefects! love you too, tony!" he cheered, sure the ravenclaw heard him. so nice. everything was so nice. he had a date. all his friends were being called. this was going terrific. then atticus walked in, causing heyden to break the whispers and awkward tension by yelling out once again. "atticus! i love you!" he shouted out, whistling near the end. seriously...why not be excited? he had a feeling this would be the best thing to ever experience in hogwarts. then skylar started crying. should he go see what was wrong? maybe atticus would do that? what just happened? he turned back in his seat to watch the ravenclaw girl leave the hall, his eyebrow raising. "wow, i think skylar's sad." he informed shay as he sat back around.

Pepper suddenly felt Rowan. Pulling her towards him. What had happened? Wait the competitors had been called....and shed been picked? Wow this was unbelievable! Her heart was pounding double time and a smile spread across her face as it sank in. "I-Im in the Tournament?" She said slowly getting up. She wobbled a bit before steading herself. She looked at King. "I-I actually got picked? This is amazing." She mumbled before looking at Monroe. She smiled softly putting her good hand on hers. "Hope you feel better." She said before looking at Rowan K. She walked over to him and kissed his cheek. "See you later?" She asked and then made her way to the great hall.

why was she crying? did she die? was she dying? was it the end of the wizarding world? no. then why the tears? it absolutely wasn't awful to get picked to beat the living crap out of atticus - oh, the other teams. plus it wasn't like you had to win to show some honor. now, in his heritage...winning was important. show no tears, keep your head up, and go with the flow. he sighed deeply, leaving the side of the head mistress and glaring at atticus. "way to go, big guy. skylar doesn't particularly enjoy being touched by...you." he continued to glare before walking off, his intention to see if skylar was fine, however, another ravenclaw intercepted him and informed him of the forest and where monroe was hiding out. monroe or skylar? hm. who was more hurt? right, the person with the reason to cry.

he walked to the infirmary, entering without giving much cause. he caught sight of monroe and grinned brightly, raising his eyebrows as if to say 'really?' he stood beside her bed and shook his head, quite amused by what he was looking at. "forbidden forest? nice. think you'll be able to dance?" it was a casual question. he wasn't asking her, he was simply wondering.

Iris felt his lips meet hers and her whole world went up in fireworks. She leaned against him a bit more enjoying the contact. Of course this wasnt her first kiss, she had had her fair share of snogs, but this had to be the best. Reluctantly she pulled away and looked up at him with a huge smile on her face. The silence between them wasnt awkward or nervous it was just nothing needed to be said. Iris laid her head in the crook of his neck and closed her eyes. It was nice to just be held, to have someone be soft and care for her. Iris lived her life with either her sweet persona on or her true thieving self which no one wanted to get close to. She had always seen the couples in the hall and envied them. She wanted to be held, she was lonely.

felicity ate her meal quietly, feeling worn out by the passing day. she was nearly finished with her food when the names of the competitors were to be announced, and she looked up eagerly, excited to know who would be chosen. first called was the slytherin house, to which she applauded quietly, but she didn't really know the students from the other house. next came gryffindor, and by then her hands were shaking. "felicity meyers" the head mistriss called, and her eyes went wide with shock. as she walked to the front of the great hall, her mind buzzed with numerous thoughts, but mainly 'how could it be me?'
