OOC: FINALLY THEYRE UP! A V E R Y
Sudden guilt trickled over the girl's angelic face. Avery had an interesting look to her. Though she was hardened by the harsh life style, when caught off guard, it was almost like looking at a whole new person. Skin as pale as the snow that fell in winter, soft and smooth like the cascading hills the surrounded the town, dark red lips from the cold forcing her blood to rush to the surface and evergreen eyes as deep as the forest. She didn't look like she belonged in high school- most likely because she didn't belong... stress hadn't plagued the girl like most students, her concerns were on the wolves. Anxiously, Avery stepped closer to Chloe as a girl entered the office and begun to speak to the other receptionist, making her uneasy with what she hadn't known about the new student in the room. Eyes flicked over and searched the face of the receptionist as Chloe tried to talk their way out of trouble, but before the woman could reply to her new red-headed friend, Avery, once again grabbed her wrist and stepped in front of her. "No- we wouldn't have gotten lost if my little sister didn't wander off... it was my fault-" she insisted. The receptionist looked at the girls, wondering who was lying and who was telling the truth and as Avery awaited her fate, she was relieved with a wave of the elderly woman's hands.
"Whatever, just get to class,"
Releasing a breath, and Chloe's wrist, Avery sighed and adjusted her bag on her shoulder before turning and walking out. The girl proceeded down the hall until she rounded a corner, not bothering to wait for Chloe until then. She needed to keep that girl close, there were too many dangers and she was too curious- Avery also had to apologize, for her snide comments and brutal behavior, it really wasn't like her but the first day of school- always had her on edge.

"Aren't you cute-" she chimed, adjusting herself in the uncomfortable metal seat that had been so stuffily attached to the surface the school liked to call a desk. Sylvia tilted her head, wolf like, eyes a little lit from the entertainment of the idea to sleep in. Giving a soft laugh, the girl addressed the top corner of her paper with her name and the date- an old habit she had kept since grade one, as she heard the instructor's clunky shoes making their way down the hall. "I know the feeling- i wish i could sleep in... uneasy nerves have me a little wrecked this week," she admitted all to honestly. Caching herself, her eyes widened in embarrassment, weakling... her conscious stabbed her for revealing such information. He doesn't care OR need to know that- knock it off! her inner thoughts scolded her. Her smile weakened slightly as she realized how true this could be- Sylvia often found it hard to get close to others, her wolf's instincts always butted in, scolding her to not be so human. "I'm fine though, really... just dreading being stuck around the normies... " she added in, whispering around the last word. What she really meant, was human. Her parents always made her shy away from any contact with the humans... she was supposed to be the best of the best, she was supposed to make her parents proud and find a mate who was of a pure blood line and continue the prestige of high standards that was placed on her. How she wished, more then anything to be anyone else... How cute... she thought to herself, admiring the idea of Demetri.
Hearing the clatter of books falling onto the desk beside her, Sylvia jumped slightly, and let out a light laugh as she noticed the groggy being beside her. Christopher. "Look who it is," she snickered to Demetri, as she motioned to Christopher with her well manicured finger. "Another lazy bum, straggling out of bed!" she cheered, her old-English accent coming out a bit thicker then normal as with a small motion, the girl reached over and gently pinched Christopher's cheek. They had been long-time acquaintances, so she liked to tease him when she could. "Why so grouchy?" she asked, a slight babied tone coming from her glossed lips.
