jasey let out a light laugh, tugging on the sleeves of her sweater. "i guess," she replied, smiling at the people she knew as she and calum walked through the halls. "what about you? you're friends with luke, so i assume you guys went to your fair share of parties together." jasey rae wasn't one to party with luke and his friends, since he knew that they messed around with girls quite a bit, but something about calum was different. in the ten minutes that she'd known him, she'd amassed that he was fairly kind and caring, unlike most of the guys at school. she really wanted to get to know him better.

Surprisingly, Calum forgot how the school looked a little bit. He kept trying to figure out directions in his head. "what about you? you're friends with luke, so i assume you guys went to your fair share of parties together." the girl asked. Calum laughed a little bit, rubbing the back of his neck. "God yeah. Being friends with Luke, you just have to party. Otherwise you don't fit in. Same with the other lads, I guess. I'm not much for parties to be honest, I'm always disappointed by the music choice. They like, never play Nirvana." he sighed, thinking of one of his favourite bands and wondering how it would be to meet Kurt. "Wait... do we turn left here? Oh my god, I forgot how this school looks on the inside." he groaned. He looked over at Jasey Rae a little bit, feeling like she could be different. Not that he has a crush on her, but he feels that if he ever did develop feelings for the blonde haired girl in front of him that the relationship might work out.

jasey giggled, seeing calum's confused expression. "come on," she said, taking his hand in her smaller, more feminine one. she gently pulled him in the opposite direction they'd been walking. "it's this way." she lead calum through the hallways until they had eventually reached the front office. she pulled open the door and headed inside, smiling at the woman behind the counter. "um, hello. i never received my class schedule. could i get a copy here?" "sure, honey. what's your name?" "jasey rae smith." "one minute." jasey gave the receptionist a nod, glancing downward to realize that she was still holding calum's hand. "o-oh," she stuttered softly, pulling away. "here you go, love." jasey rae turned to the counter once again, taking her schedule. "th-thanks."

The raven haired boy smiled at Jasey Rae's giggle, allowing her to take his big hands with her petite ones. Soon being dragged in the opposite way, they come to an abrupt stop. "I totally knew it was here." he said, chuckling a little bit. They walked into the office, Calum noticing she was still holding his hand. Blushing a little bit, he tried to cover it up with a smirk as Jasey let go. He slowly looked at the lady at the desk. They shared quick hellos and a happy new start of the school year before quickly moving to the side and looking at her schedule. "It seems like we have English together last period." he smiled slightly, as he showed her his schedule. "It also looks like you share a couple classes with Ash." he chuckled, knowing how much of a trouble maker Ash is in class.

jasey examined her schedule, smiling lightly as she was told that she and calum shared a period. "yeah," she said. "looks like it." after reading over her schedule again and comparing it to calum's, the blonde noticed that they shared another class: biology during third period. "hey, look. we have biology together." jasey pointed to calum's schedule, biting her lip a bit. she was looking forward to spending more time with her new friend. maybe they could even help each other with assignments. "i think that's it, though. the classes we share, i mean. and who's ash?"

Within an instant both Luke and Calum were gone, leaving Michael and himself
standing there. Ashton let out a sigh as he picked up his backpack and put it on, "Well Mikey,
it's just you and me. What's your first class anyway?" If Ashton remembered correctly, his first
class was literature. With that being said he knew he didn't have the first class with Calum, so
he hoped he had his first class with either Luke or Michael. It wasn't that he needed his friends
to be in his classes. It's just that it would make things so much more fun and entertaining. Plus it
would give him people to talk to and make jokes with. Pretty soon people were heading inside
meaning the bell to go to class would literally ring any second, "We should get going" he told
Michael before going up the steps and going inside the building, feeling the cool air hit his face
so far the hallways were getting crowded with people catching up or just acting a fool. Usually
that would be them, but both Calum and Luke had something else in mind for the first day.

Room 207. It was the class room for anatomy. She was pretty excited to have
anatomy first. Baylynne was sure it would wake her up. As she walked through the halls she
heard a familiar voice call her name. The sound of that voice was so familiar it sent a cold
chill down her spine, making her stop walking. It was Luke. Luke had never spoken to her
unless it was to make a sneer remark at her during class. Usually she would ignore him since
they would be in the middle of class, but right now it seemed like she didn't have a choice.
Before turning around to face Luke she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Clutching on
to her binder and opening her eyes Baylynne turned around to see the blonde boy running after
her. When he came to a good distance to her she spoke to him, "Yes?" It took all her willpower
to keep her voice sounding normal. It wasn't that he made her feel nervous and gittery like he
did to most girls. It was that she felt powerless next to him. She knew she was smart than him,
but she knew very well that Luke had a way with words. It was some what hypnotizing. Which
made sense. How else would he get a girl around here? Everyone knew what he did with girls.
Which would make you think that girls would be smarter and stay away from him. Yet it seemed
like the complete opposite. Baylynne couldn't help but wonder why Luke was even coming over
to her. Her of all people. Did he suddenly wake up with amnesia or something?

Calum kept looking in between his own schedule and Jasey Rae's. He was about to point out they also have biology together, but Jasey Rae pointed it out first. "Yeah, would you look at that. I just hope the teacher is different from last year." he chuckled a little bit, remembering all the harsh pranks he and Luke used to pull on him. "i think that's it, though. the classes we share, i mean. and who's ash?" she asked, Calum wondering if she should tell him who she is or not. It's not that Ash is bad, it's the rumours that go around about his little group of mates. They began to walk out the room while he thought of a way to describe one of his best friends. "Ash? It's Ashton Irwin. You know, guy with brown curly hair, kinda wild but tamed like a lions?" he laughed as he bumped into Baylynne and Luke. "Oh, hey guys!" He smiled warmingly, holding out his fist to fist bump Luke.

shy kept eating her gummy bears, going into the school and whipping out her phone to check her schedule, which she had momentarily changed to her lockscreen. she walked to her math class, inwardly sighing. this was her least favorite class. partly due to the subject, and partly due to the fact she hasn't passed a math class since elementary school. she was always pretty good in math, until they decided to throw the alphabet in. she stood outside a sophomore level math class and cringed, blushing in embarrassment. it was terrible for a senior to be in a underclassmen class. the sophomores looked her up and down and then went on with their conversations. she wondered why they were all waiting outside the classroom. she looked at the door and saw a laminated sign showing a signed note from the teacher that they would be 20 minutes late due to a doctor's appointment he had. a ginger girl tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open. it was locked. shy watched the ginger girl, wondering if she should talk to her or not. she seemed friendly enough. as the ginger girl went back to some friend shiloh slumped slightly. she sighed and went over to lean on a nearby locker, sinking down and hugging her knees to her chest. well, this would take a while.

he ran his hand through his hair when he finally
caught up to her, busting out a smile. "hey
bay, what's your first class?" he looked down at her
oxford flats. they were honestly adorable and suited her well.
he tried to keep the approach casual, and had his tongue
peeking out under his row of teeth slightly with the smile. as
he awaited her response, he saw calum and a blonde girl. jasey
rae. he had fooled around with one of her friends, and was on
his mental list in the near future. "hey calpal.
" he said with a chuckle as he bumped his fist against
calum's. he raised an eyebrow at jasey rae. "hey jasey rae."
he said with a little wave, trying to show baylynne that a
majority of his attention was on baylynne herself.

Calum scrunched his nose up at the nickname Calpal. He came up with it as a joke and they won't stop calling him it, but he's thankful the boys don't call him C-Dizzle anymore, that was even worse. "There is a rumour going round that there is a party going on this thursday at James' place. Feel like going?" He asked Luke and Jasey Rae at the same time, hoping they'll both say yes. It's Luke's job to ask Baylynne, since he's the main one talking to her. "I have math. Since these stupid numbers mess with my head, I'm stuck with the sophomores." he groaned, going red from the fact his math level was extremely low. "So I don't think our classes are actually close to each other, but I'm sure I'll bump into you on the way to second period. I'll definitely walk you to that class if you're up for the offer." he offered Jasey Rae, raising his eyebrows to see if she'll accept. "Ok, I've really gotta go to this class. Bye guys!" He chuckled, smiling and waving at the three. Calum carried on walking down the hallway, hoping to find the right classroom. He soon noticed a girl sitting down by the lockers seeming a bit annoyed. Noticing it was Shiloh, he decided to go sit next to her and give his back a break from the heavy bag. "You ok?" He asked her calmly. They haven't really spoken before. The only time they did was when Luke tried to get her a year ago, and even then it was just an awkward 'hello'.

jasey rae nodded slightly at calum's description of ashton. "i think i've seen him around," she mumbled, glancing over at luke and a girl she couldn't recall the name of as they approached. she gave them each a smile, though they seemed to be more interested in each other than anyone else. turning back to calum as he brought up a party, jasey let out a small sigh. "yeah, that sounds cool. i better get going. see you later, i guess." jasey fiddled with her backpack as she left the office, heading upstairs. calum had peaked her interest quite a bit, but he seemed to have been pretty close friends with luke, who was a bit of a jerk at times. jasey hoped that her new friend didn't take after the blonde who everyone knew for messing around with girls at parties.
