having a nice day of many classes, lorelle had done well in all of them today. es-
pecially in her favorite classes. just kidding! she liked all the classes! being a ra-
venclaw, she was quite clever. though she didn't particularly love homework. b-
ut she did it well and that was that. now she was sitting in her dorm impatien-
tly. she wanted to be mostly alone before she got ready, or people would be co-
nfused as to why she was wearing a mask and such and going who-knows-wher-
e. but once most of the girls were gone, asleep or something, she readied in no
time with her mask, wand, and everything she needed. she really did wish she
knew who was in the group though. maybe eventually it wouldn't be anonymous.
shrugging silently to herself, she cautiously peeked out the door. no one was in
sight. quiet as a mouse, she tip-toed out and in the direction of the special roo-
m that would hopefully appear to her when she came to the area of where it was.
but indeed it did appear, and she was able to come inside to find a few other
masked people inside. feeling a bit uncomfortable with everyone staring at her,
lore sat down in an empty seat next to someone she might already know. and
possibly like. in a friend way or a crush. because, well, she did have a bit of a
crush; casper. and truthfully she didn't exactly know why. he was in her house
and certainly attractive, but he just seemed.. so nice somehow. although she
knew he smoked which she didn't exactly support. they were somewhat friends
but she didn't know what he thought of her at all. perhaps he thought the same..

jet smirked as shaylee gave him her nickname and ruffled his blonde hair. in re-
turn, he messed up hers. he felt a complaint of some sort coming on from her b-
ut said nothing as he nibbled on a miniature chocolate chip muffin because.. why
not? he smiled slightly as he was leaned on by the beautiful veela letting out a s-
mall tired sigh. oh, yes.. he had a crush. and he wished that he didn't but oh well.
he wondered if anyone he knew was in the bandits, and that reminded him of the
meeting later tonight and their failure. ugh, the failure. he had been supposed to
predict everything and then help with the things he could do. though, he hadn't p-
redicted failure until a few seconds later, they failed. at this he had been angry at
himself. why couldn't he have predicted it sooner and told everyone? that led to h-
is occasional emotional breakdowns. sometimes he hated being a seer. sometimes
he saw stuff he really really did not want to see, but he couldn't prevent it from h-
appening. many times when he was younger he had tried to stop it; it never work-
ed. and he wished and hoped he wouldn't see something to say he would never
end up with shaylee. shaking his head slightly to clear it, he heard her complain
and smiled. yep, he was correct. "go to bed earlier, then." he joked. but he knew that
wasn't the problem; she simply had trouble sleeping. he didn't usually, except for
nightmares every once and a while. his thoughts were interrupted by remember-
ing school would be soon and he'd have to be prepared. and that is what he did.

the school day had gone by in a blur and he now had his mask and everything, r-
eady to go. the only problem was that the coast was not clear. many students w-
ere talking, walking and wandering around outside the dorm and hanging around
the location for the ror or room of requirements for the meeting. he had a vision
of something bad happening earlier, which had made his stomach churn. jet still
had no idea what it was. about ten minutes later, no one was looking and most
hallways were deserted. so he slipped out and bolted in the direction and went t-
hrough everything he needed to before finding it appeared. good. he had ended
up being a bit late, as pretty much everyone it looked like was there. he recogn-
ized no one in no form and just sat down warily. what was going to happen?

the veela smiled slightly at jet's joking tone. it was always so.. calming, she
didn't know why. finishing her apple silently, she stared strait ahead. tonight
should be a fun one. the bandit meetings always made her feel so uncomfort-
able. she had to wear her hair up so nobody would see her snow white hair, t-
hat was give her away for sure. smiling at jet as she stood, shaylee was off t-
o her classes. this hufflepuff liked most of her classes, she made all a's, stud-
ying hard and long. she didn't want to be like her six brothers and just goof a-
round, sneaking around the castle and breaking the rules. she tried to be the
best student she could, which worked. as long as she wasn't mad.

--

the day was fast and foggy. she had been thinking about the meeting all day.
it was all she could think of. now she was sitting in the hufflepuff common r-
oom, chatting with a fellow hufflepuff. soon they where the only two in the c-
ommon room. shaylee was a bit antsy. she was waiting on him to end the c-
onversation so she could leave. as if on cue, he nodded and said good night b-
efore walking away. the veela smiled, waited a moment to make sure nobod-
y would come back out, and saw that nobody was coming. shaylee waved he-
r hand, and her mask appeared. smiling, she tucked it in her robes and wisp-
ed away. soon the hufflepuff was at the corridor where the room of requirem-
ent lie. she paced back and forth three times, thinking about the very speci-
fic place. then, the door appeared. smiling, shaylee bent over to pull up her
silky white hair in a messy bun, and then think up a spell. magic came easil-
y to her, she was very good at using it. touching her temples for a moment,
the white hair, very slowly, starting to turn blonde. and then she was a blond-
e. sticking on her mask, shaylee made sure that none of her face was showi-
ng. shaylee opened the door and walked in. there where three people there. s-
o she silently slipped into a seat, staring forward.

the day was fantastic. bennie was in an especially good mood today,
due to the bandits meeting. plus some kid had exploded his potion
in his face, which he found funny. but hey, the kid that had made i-
t explode was laughing at himself to, so it was all good. now he wa-
s looking in the mirror in his room. he made his hair shorter than n-
ormal, its color raven black. he made his eyes bright blue, different
from his normal color. bennie ran a hand through the black hair to
mess it up, and it held its messiness. making his mask invisible, t-
he slytherin held onto it lightly in his hand, and walked down the ha-
llway. taking out his wand he cast lumos, lighting the corridor up a-
round him. bennie then reached the room of requirement, pacing t-
hree times, and then slipping on his mask before entering. really h-
e could care less if he knew who it was, but after their failure, ben-
nie had taken a certain interest on who was in the bandits, so he c-
ould blame them. but really he was exaggerating, everybody had a p-

It had been an uneventful day for Cassidy.
After breakfast, she had hurried off to her classes. All went smoothly, save for Transfiguration. She had accidentally turned the teacher’s desk into a writing quill, which would've been quite a feat if they hadn't been assigned to turn the pincushion in front of them into a wastebasket. But everything else went well. The Bandit meeting was tonight, and even though she was sure that they were going to get yelled at for failing the last expedition, it was going to be worth it. The only part that she disliked was the anonymity of it all.
During Quidditch practice, Cassidy played lightly so that she could save her energy for tonight. Finally, after an agonizingly long dinner and an even longer time spent waiting for it to become dark, it was time to start preparing for the meeting.
With a quick flick of her wand and a muttered accio spell, her mask was pulled down over her face, disguising whatever features made her Cassidy Hawthorne and turning her into a member of the Bandits. She pulled her hair back into a loose braid and lifted her hood over it so that she wouldn't be recognized by her bright blonde curls. With footsteps lighter than cat’s paws, she ran down to the Room of Requirement.
I need to be admitted to the place where the meetings are. I need to be admitted to the place where the meetings are. I need to be admitted to the place where meetings are. After many attempts to think her way into the room, the door finally appeared to Cassidy. The familiarity of the room washed over her as she took a seat on the bench, ignoring the other members that were milling around. She didn't feel like socializing until the meetings actually got going, which wasn't yet.

Percy skipped classes that day.
It wasn't that they weren't interesting to him. They were. But today, the scent of blood just seemed to completely overwhelm him. Obviously, the blood pops and fake blood weren't doing the trick. He hated to admit it, but he needed to go on a hunting trip, and soon. Hopefully the bandits would be going out tonight.
Ugh. This is awful. Percy thought to himself, holding a hand to his itching, burning throat. He had three classes today with slytherins, and everyone knows that the majority of them are pure-blooded. Knowing that it would be pure hell, he used common sense and just hung out in the dormitory all day. Being alone for a long time gave him time to think, something that he loved to do on his own.
He thought about his friends (which didn't exist, apart from Wren and Bennie), his family (all vampires like him, with the same type of hunting appetite), and school (which sucked). But it was better than spending hours in a crowded classroom with the delicious smell of blood all around him.
But it was inevitable after a while- he had to leave his room to go to the Room of Requirement for the meeting. He was able to tell who most of the members are. Not their names, but their blood status and what house they were from. Wren was the only member who he could tell exactly who they were. Dark eyes gave it away. He clicked his mask into place and made his way down towards the room. The door had just been opened by a pure-blooded Gryffindor animagus female (Some sort of small mammal by the scent of it. Lynx? Cat? Bobcat?), so he caught it after she made her way in and slipped in behind her. Was there anyone that he knew here yet?

= Nova's day had been quiet. As usual. though.
She didn't have a lot of friends, nor had she made much an effort to talk to them. Today she
had her thoughts on planning; usually, she would try and put her input into bandits meetings.
she wasnt good at transfiguration or potions; but tragedy was something she was quite proud of.
she knew how people thought, what their moves were. she felt like a sleuth, tying to uncover
the secrets of different people. it was fun, exciting. something she never usually had. so, after
several hours of spilling precious viles and changing pin cushions ino butterflies; it was finally
Cassanova's time to be herself. Well, technically she wore a mask, but it wasnt like she needed
one. She watched herself in the mirror as her hair faded to a light blue, her eyes a deep lavender.
She placed on her black mask, smiled to herself, then off she went.
Adventure.

+casper honesty hadnt payed much attention to anything since
breakfast. other than the always ticking clock. it had gone by slow, agonizing. it was a very good thing that
he was smart; he flew through classes like a necessity. he hardly tried, everything came so simple to him.
potions, transfiguration, divination... child's play. what wasn't child's play to cas was socializing. he would
have to socialize soon, at the meeting. he was outside, already pretty much prepared as he took a drag of
his freshly lit cigarette. the dark was his favorite time of the day, crickets chirping loudly and the stars
glinting like diamonds over silk. it was calm, peaceful, almost alive. he licked his lips, then pulled on his
cloak and mask. it was way past time for him to be there, he knew. he went inside, cigarette hanging out
his mouth as he rushed to the room of requirement.

Lucien is a pure-blooded Gryffindor descended from a notorious Slytherin line which was thought to have perished sometime during the global wizarding war. He is closely related to the Black family, and is gifted (more like cursed, in Lucien's case) the ability to communicate in Parseltongue, and thus a direct descent of Salazar Slytherin.
Lucien was raised by a muggle-born witch and wizard (the Taylors) who both opposed blood purity, and decisively hid his family secrets from him until he was ready to attend Hogwarts.
In general, he is found to be an outgoing and lighthearted individual, eccentric in many ways but owning an excellent sense of humor. In fact, Lucien is "too intelligent for his own good" and channels his boredom in hyper-active wisecracking, to the point of being self-destructive. Lucien is laid-back by nature; unless the matter is dire, he can never stay serious for too long. He is also staunchly loyal to his loved ones and unafraid to stand up against what he thinks is wrong.
Despite his display of Gryffindor attributes, Lucien possesses a surprising amount of Slytherin qualities that are usually disguised under his lopsided grin. A few notable examples would be: his approval and love for scheming (sometimes even unfairly), achievement-oriented attitude, and resourcefulness.
Lucien is also conflict-averse, which is unusual of a Gryffindor (daring, fiery, impulsive, etc.), tending to avoid conflict whenever possible, and seeking creative solutions to avoid a fight. He would rather rely on his wits than his wand, and is much more likely to stop and review a situation before charging forward.
However, Lucien has a covetous desire for heroism which is evidenced by his somewhat unhealthy infatuation with Harry Potter, and this particular inclination influenced the Sorting Hat to ultimately place him in Gryffindor instead of Slytherin.
His scholastic performance is at best, average. The main reason for these mediocre grades would be because he hardly bothers to make an effort in any of the subjects (chiefly Potions and Herbology) he finds unexciting. In the areas he is actually interested in however (Transfiguration and Charms), he has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge which could have easily gotten him into Ravenclaw.

Your typical blue-blooded Slytherin.
Disdainful and proud, Sylvia comes from the ancient and wealthy House of Rosier. Sylvia Rosier is known to have a commanding presence that exudes gravitas and authority, able to silence most people with an icy glare. She is known to be a very private individual who views emotional displays as a sign of shameful weakness.
Sylvia makes it crystal clear that she doesn’t enjoy noisy social meetings such as parties, preferring a quiet dinner appointment in a fine restaurant. She is also absurdly meticulous over etiquette and manners, perhaps more than the ordinary pureblood.
Yet Sylvia is sarcastic and witty, and can actually be pleasurable to be with once she tolerates the other person’s company. And though she is Slytherin to the core, Sylvia owns some Gryffindor traits such as courage and bravery, while she does spite Gryffindors for their 'foolhardiness'.
She is one of the most neutral Slytherins in in terms of pure-blood supremacy, disliking the constant conflict and keeping away from it. As a matter of fact, she genuinely enjoys Muggle literature and obliges Lucien (her only Muggle-related friend) to buy novels for her.
Concerning her studies, the female Slytherin is close to being a workaholic, always carefully completing her assignments before each due date. She particularly excels in Potions and the DADA (the latter because of her knowledge of the Dark Arts), and focuses on anything related to studying.
Her pursuit of perfection goes as far to her boggart being a form of failure. This drive roots from her parents who paid much more attention to her brother (who was also academically gifted), thus her unconscious envy and despair led to perfectionism.

wren - post two

Postby breakingbasic » Wed Jul 23, 2014 4:32 am

      wrendeluca
      _sixteen - slytherin - vampire
_with bandits - at ror - anxious

wren skittered through classes. she was nervous and it was probably very obvious, but no one bothered asking the girl what was wrong with her. she hoped to talk to percy in their charms class, but he didn't attend. during instructions, she let her mind wander. she saw percy at breakfast looking quite uncomfortable and thought that he was probably thirsty. she had adapted well to the food at hogwarts, seeing as she was raised by a witch who consumed no blood. wren grew up on blood gelatin, rarely getting the chance to hunt. from what she had been told, percy had not. both of his parents were vampires, so he hadn't gotten used to the blood products. it's pretty much an acquired taste. nevertheless, she assumed percy would be at the bandits meeting. he was the only person she knew the identity of within the group, and that was simply because of his scent. she assumed everyone asked into the group was special, why else would they have been chosen? she was a vampire, which didn't give her much of an edge. aside from being able to drink their enemies, and like turning into a bat. which she did not like, not at all. she was brought back to class when she was asked to demonstrate the vinegar to wine spell. if she had enough blood running through her system, she would have blushed. she shakily tried the charm, causing her vinegar to freeze. there were a few chuckles and then wren ducked her head, she hated to be the point of attention.

the rest of the day was uneventful, thankfully and she hurried to her room after dinner. she busied herself with homework while she waited for her roommates to run off studying or something, wanting the whole room to herself. once she achieved solitude, wren slipped her robe on, dark fabric falling to the floor around her. she opened her trunk and picked up carefully folded sweaters, revealing a dark mask that she slid into the pockets of said robe. wren grabbed her wand, and exhaled. she hoped this would go smoothly. when she opened the door to the common room, there were only two people lounging around. she slipped out the door and into the nearly empty hallways. wren knew where she needed to be, in a sense. she was planning on the door simply being there, as she wanted to spend as little time as possible roaming alone. as she turned the corner she focused on the door being there. luck was on her side, as there it was. wren smiled to herself and pulled her mask out. she slid it onto her face, covering her nose and cheeks. her black eyes the only thing exposed. she loved the feeling of butterflies in her stomach as she opened the door.

the first thing she noticed was that it was tense. people were still upset about the failed robbery, no doubt, and this was expected. her eyes swept the room and they locked onto a familiar dark pair. she suppressed the previous smile that adorned her lips and began to cross the room, eyes following her as she went. it was silent and eerie. she placed herself next to the other vampire in an auto-pilot sort of way and everyone's eyes turned back to the door as someone else entered. wren exhaled and watched the door as well. she spoke under her breath, another attempt to keep eyes off of her. "do you think anyone even has a plan?" her eyes flitted up to percy's as she spoke, noting that there wasn't really any visible instructions yet.

When he felt Wren's presence enter the room, Percy was immediately put at ease. It was easier to control him inhuman urges around her, and to choose not to jump the nearest pure-blood. When she spoke, he scoffed. "I seriously doubt it." Percy shook his head at her. "Every mission that we've had so far has failed. How is this one going to be any different?" he scoffed, leaning his chin onto his hands. They'd been at this for almost the entire school year, and still, nothing had succeeded. They had made little to no progress at all, and it was all because of the stupid anonymity. They couldn't create a bond of friendship, or get to know each other's strengths and weaknesses. You were in a room full of strangers who were perceived as friends. "I don't know, I... I guess we're all just getting sick of not being able to move forward. It's almost as if we're doing so awfully, that we're starting to go backwards!" Percy growled, slamming his hand on the seat and causing several people in the immediate vicinity to jump in surprise at the sudden noise.
