spaceAs soon as Catherine walked into the building, her adrenaline shot through her like a dagger and she immediately felt like she could do anything. Her finger tips were almost twitching with energy, ready to pull down a cloud of darkness and shadow. If Catherine's sunglasses had been discarded, it would have shown her eyes slowly turn into a darker and darker blue, until turning completely black, signaling her powers were ready. Watching everyone else with their powers made her even more excited, as her eyes flitted back and forth from power to power. Ash's power had always intrigued her, how the girl just seemingly created ice out of thin air, similar to Catherine's powers of darkness. next was Audrey's, which wasn't very exciting, but it got the job done. of course, Alaska's was the most dramatized. Catherine rolled her eyes at the girls attempts to get the guard with horrible aim and awful precision. Luckily for Alaska, Catherine's power needed little to no aim, only some persistence.
spaceAs she heard the gun go off, she also dropped to the ground, but she managed to flick her wrist and the guards were in shadows. They were essentially blind, unable to see the girls, everything was pitch black. It was almost as if they had gone blind. To the girls, the men just looked like they had a little smog around them, so they could still take care of them. "I gotcha," she replied to Alaska, then added, "but seriously, can someone take all the guards out?" A voice in her head wondered how the heck they missed taking the guards out first. "You'd think that would be the first idea..." she thought, while slowly getting up from the ground. It was hard though and her legs started to shake from keeping her power "on" for so long. Catherine's powers were fairly strong, but they also took energy out of her already frail body. She could feel the blood dripping down from her nose and she knew it wasn't a good sign. She clenched her jaw and just ignored it, hoping that this heist would run smoothly from here on out.

Hannah fixed her hair once again so it wouldn't fall out of it's bun before entering the bank after the other girls. Her hands were sweating and she was getting much more nervous by the second. What if we fail? she thought and then shook her head. We won't. I know we won't. Hannah watched as the floor turned ice and the people watched, mouth gaped open. That's when the other girls started rolling in and using their powers. Audrey had already gotten a member of the bank to open up the safe and Alaska was busy shooting random stuff at the cops heads.

Hannah couldn't help but chuckle a little at the situation until a gun was fired. "Damn," she muttered and then dropped to the ground beside her friend. "I'll take care of the guards. Someone go after the guy," she said, pointing towards the man who was now heading towards the safe. Hannah concentrated on all her power as the room got darker, feeling the different types of blood in her brain and controlled them. She had the most creepiest power of them all since she could control blood. The thought made her shudder and she lost control, making another cop shoot towards her. She dropped to the ground once again and swore out loud, regretting it the moment she did. "Ash, it would be real nice for some more freezing. Keep them in one place so I can do something," she shouted towards the ice user and rolled towards Catherine. She didn't really like her since they always seemed to find a way to hate each other but the girl was in need of some adrenaline.

Hannah closed her eyes and willed the blood in Catherine's body to flow faster so she could feel some excitement. When she thought that the job was done, she did the opposite thing to two cops near them. The girl was hoping that nobody shot her while she could do the job and waited for Ashlyn to do her work. Hannah could probably do exactly what Catherine had just yelled a few seconds earlier but she was not that sure of her powers. She could probably take out a few but for all of them to be taken out at once would most likely kill her and she wasn't taking that big of a risk. Not unless one or two of them could help her. That's when another ear splitting shot was made in the air and Hannah flinched. "Guys! It would be nice for some help. I can control their blood but not all at once. Maybe two at a time!" she said and hoped that they wouldn't fail this mission.

--------------------

quotehearing the door close behind her, it took more than a few seconds to get everything going. there was one girl who hadn't taken them all that seriously. however, ash had put a stop to that. her power was making ice appear out of nowhere. even riley was surprised like the "hostages" in chase bank. though this feeling didn't last long - all six of the chicks had abilities (supernatural abilities). they had seen them multiple times when around each other; it shouldn't be anything special to riley but it still left her in complete awe. she watched as the other girls did their thing, deciding they all had a better power than her. riley could touch an object, read its history, and get information. however, she couldn't tell what the person was thinking or feeling whilst using the object. this is why she would have been a suitable choice for opening the bank safe - touching the vault screen and read the numbers. it was totally an efficient way of getting everything done in a split second. when she heard hannah shout about some guy, the black haired girl turned her head in the direction. oh, was it her time to do something? cool. after all, the dude was heading towards the safe - riley totally had this covered.

quoteshe weaved in between people, making sure not to disrupt the girls and their jobs. it was a miracle she hadn't got hit by the flying bullets. she thought it might have something to do with the mask she was wearing? despite walking in with the girls, riley could have been mistaken for robin the boy-wonder. this was okay with her, other than the fact she was wearing a purple beanie? like, why would a hero even wear that kind of hat? the bullets stopped shooting in her direction once she was in front of the bank counter. placing her hands on the counter palms down, she brought her legs over her body and landed softly on the ground next to it. ha, her dad had argued it wasn't too smart to focus on gymnastics when there was college to think about. one, you could look super cool while doing flips. secondly, flexibility was amazing in these situations. the girl who had laughed at them earlier was wearing a green scarf. "just gonna takes this..." she told the girl, removing the scarf from her neck before sprinting to the running guy. it hadn't taken too long to catch up with him. riley was young and he was old - age difference was definitely a factor in this. she caught her foot under his running feet, causing him to trip. taking about...a minute? to hog tie him. she turned away and longer faced him, walking to the vault herself. was that the same dude ordered to open it? either way, riley had beat him there. the only thing the touch screen offered was numbers. sweet, this was going to be easy. placing her hand on the outer metal part, she was brought back to the time they first installed it. conversations were happening around her, flying by. next came the people who used it long ago and even today. today. receiving the numbers, she tapped it in and was welcomed by a wonderful greeting beep. "got it!" she yelled at the other girls, hoping their jobs had finished. with all honesty, that was pretty easy...other than hog tying the dude up behind her. now the tricky part was to get the money out. obviously the six girls had come for that and to be seen on the news. publicity was everything.

Alaska felt her ears grow hot even though it was nearing freezing in the room. This was the first time the girls had used their powers in a large scale, but it still felt embarrassing when she missed the guard. She could almost feel Catherine rolling her eyes behind her back. "I'm sorry I'm not as good at this as your are." The nineteen year old girl mumbled. She didn't really like Catherine or her power, but her presence was tolerable to a point. When she looked up from her position on the floor, there was a rippling curtain of a dense darkness around the stumbling guards. It was a pretty amusing spectacle, she had to admit.

Alaska ducked back down again when Hannah joined her on the floor. There were more deafening cracks as bullets flew past them. She didn't notice the man sneaking toward the safe until Hannah pointed it out. She was good at that. "I'll take care of him." She said as her friend lapsed into a silence while using her power. "Or at least I'll try to." She whispered on a second thought. Her confidence at the start of it all had gotten her nowhere. Underestimating her opponents was a dangerous and deadly mistake.

Alaska crouched, trying to stay make herself a smaller target for the bullets whipping through the chaos of the bank. Then she started sprinting for the man. It might have been better to hide behind overturned couches, but there was no time to waste. The man had a good start on her already. Only a fraction of the way there, there were sirens from outside. More police. "Crap." This was far more than she had anticipated. Maybe even too much for the girls to handle. Their powers were unmatched, but they weren't trained to use them. So against hundreds of trained gunmen, their odds of carrying out the mission successfully plummeted to around zero. If they could open the safe and gather all the valuables and cash, they could make a run for it before things got even worse than it already was.

Alaska turned back. Her power was far better for large amounts of people. Less precision was needed if she was trying to hit a large group of people. It was a bit like stepping on ants. Anyway, she could tell that Riley was going after the man instead. That was a good idea. She could open the safe with ease too. Now, there were a few guards inside her range. One was raising his gun to her. She didn't waste her time raising her hands. Instead, she just pulled the gun toward herself with a single thought. The man, who had been holding pretty tightly to the gun, was dragged along for a few feet. He yelped in surprise before letting go of the pistol. The black weapon flew toward Alaska's open hand, but again it missed and just continued to be flung behind her. She sighed as she reversed the angle of the pull. The first thing she would do after this was target practice. If Catherine had been watching, Alaska knew that she would be laughing at her. But at least now the gun was in her hands, the cold black metal pressed against her palms, the weight reassuring but terrifying at the same time. She pointed it at the two guards who were advancing toward her. "Don't move unless you want to be shot. Which, I'm pretty sure, you wouldn't want to be." To be honest, the grey eyed girl didn't know a thing about shooting a gun. But she hoped the front she was putting up looked convincing enough. If worst came to worst, she could always pull the trigger and hope for the best. It looked easy enough in movies. But in movies, the bad guys never won either.

audrey's attention was snapped away from her chapped fingers at the sound of a gunshot.
instead of ducking, like most people would, she froze. her eye's scanned the situation, trying to
find the best solution. her eyes skipped from person to person, finally settling on riley. she watched,
calmly, as she took the man she sent to open the vault down. her surroundings, what was taking place,
receded to the back of audrey's mind. taking a deep breath, audrey turned away and headed towards the
crowded exit. anger had begun swelling in the pit of her stomach, making her reckless. they say that when
you're angry, your intelligence shrinks [or becomes clouded.] go figure someone would disrupt her
contribution to the plan, after she had put so much effort into it. they obviously didn't need her, so
she wasn't going to stick around. she hadn't wanted to do this stupid bank hold up, anyways. she snatched
the black, feathery mask off of her face savagely, almost snapping it in two. she tossed it into the
closest trashcan. she was done, she was leaving. she'd rather be alone than stick around and be useless.
pushing the entrance of the door open roughly, audrey stepped out of the bank. she barely made it two
steps before realizing the amount of police cars surrounding the building.. "ah, crap." she murmured.
she'd gotten straight a's in school, right? she was the one who was always complimented on how analytical
she was, correct? it sure wasn't showing.

ASHLYN HOLLAND
────────────ICE────────────
tagged all
████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
Hearing Hannah’s shout, Ash felt the first beginnings of doubt enter her mind. Her
version of freezing a person entailed encasing them in a layer of ice— not a problem
if she was going to touch each of the people individually, more so of one if she had
to do it on a mass scale and at a distance. Damn it, they hadn’t trained for so many
aspects of this… just look at Alaska; the girl’s aim, never the best, only worsened as
she grew visibly and audibly frustrated.

But, Ash thought, the gears in her mind whirring rapidly, perhaps there was a way to
dilute her power in a way that would be just effective enough for Hannah’s purposes.
Chewing on a corner of her lip, she willed the ice to creep over the feet of the
employees— similar to what she had done by going from the floor up to the walls, but
significantly harder to perform on living people than on inanimate objects. Nevertheless,
she pushed on doggedly, managing to work her ice halfway up the shins of the staff before
she had to stop. Noticing that her hands were still trembling from the exertion, she
clenched them harder than she’d meant to, hard enough to leave crescent-moon marks on
her palms afterward; until now she hadn’t realized that she was angry, angrier than she’d
been in a long time, but now it was an all-consuming fire of an emotion, lapping away at
the perpetual coldness that Ash and her power symbolized. The entire thing was turning
out to be a poorly-planned fiasco. Already sirens were wailing in the distance, growing
louder by the second; they’d taken care of everybody inside the bank, but the numerous
doors and windows had offered passerby a first-row view of the chaos going on; yet another
factor they’d failed to take into account. One of them must have called the police, and
none of the girls had even noticed.

At least Riley had gotten the safe open. “Come on, girls. We’re going to have to grab the
money and go,”
Ash called over her shoulder to the others, counting one, two, three, four
people to help her carry it… where was the fifth? Riley was by the safe. Audrey was… damn
it, Audrey
… outside and surrounded. Ash swore under her breath. Was their crime spree
over before it had truly begun? She shuddered to imagine what she and her friends would
undergo should they fall into the hands of the police. There would be questions for sure,
questions that she didn’t want answer… that she didn’t even know the answers to.

“Riley, take as much money as you can. Here, have my bag,” she said quickly, pitching her
voice loud enough so everybody could hear and tossing the aforementioned object to the
other girl. “Hannah, I’ve done the best that I can; just keep the workers subdued long enough
for Riley to work. The rest of you, come with me; Audrey’s in trouble.”

Shane receives a vision of the girls' hold-up before it gets onto the news and they start
making plans about how they're going to track them down] but they won't cross paths
with the girls until after the second break-in c:
