Aeron chuckled a bit as Keira shook her head to his roaring idea. He didn't think it was a good option either. The scary part about that idea was if the other riders did find them because of the roar, all four of them would be in jeopardy of being caught by the king. That was something he would not risk, even if it did speed up their search. "Yeah, I guess the roaring would be a bit too risky. It was just a thought. But honestly, even if we did think it out, the only real option is to search and hope we find them. Everything else is just risky." he said as he turned to look at her at Scylla.

The dragon was doing a bit better, but Keira looked like she was tiring a bit. He did blame her though. Flying was a bit tiring considering the riders weren't really doing much but holding on to their dragons. "Sure, in fact I'm getting a bit hungry and if I'm hungry, Balerion must be getting there as well. We can fly for a bit longer, take a small break and then continue on foot." he said at her suggestion.

Aeron knew Balerion wasn't tired, but the dragon had a tendency to get grumpy when he was hungry, which was something Aeron hated dealing with. They flew for a little bit, but this time Aeron was looking for a decent spot to land. It wasn't too long before a small clearing came into sight, a perfect place to land at least, and from there they could continue into the forest for cover. "How about there?" he asked, pointing to the clearing.

.....Darien had suppress a laugh when the rider's dragon, Sirath, tossed her head, making the rider, Belegeth's, hand slip a little. She was very friendly so far, which was desirable. Fangol was back to his usual self, calm and collected, unlike his tenseness just a minute earlier. He listened as she greeted him and asked him if he had found the other riders. He would put away pride and answer truthfully.

....."Unfortunately, you are the first rider I have encountered. However, with both of us looking, it will be a little easier to find the others, especially if they have met each other." Darien stated in reply. It was logical that the other two riders could have met up considering how easily Darien and Fangol had found Belegeth and Sirath. But what if neither of them had begun looking? Then finding them could prove very difficult. What if the riders had attacked each other? That would be disastrous. But if their encounter was anything like theirs, it went well. They might not have met each other yet, though. You're going too far into thought. Come back to the real world. he had to force himself out of his daze. Fangol gave a snort, his equivalent of a laugh. He seemed to know everything Darien was thinking."Do you want to look for them in the air, or do you want to look on land? Fangol is going to get tired of flying with this huge chunk of weight riding him." he laughed. Fangol gave him a look.

Nodding her head, Keira agreed to the idea. However, she didn't know what they would be eating. Food suddenly took up a great chunk in her mind, and she didn't remember seeing some sort of pack or bag on Aeron. Perhaps on Balerion, like Keira had hers on Scylla? Looseining her hold on the dragon's neck, she allowed enough space to turn her torso to the left, letting her eyes scan the dragon from head to torso to rider to tail. She still didn't see anything, but then again, the pack might be black.
Returning to her previous position, Keira looked to the earth. She caught the clearing Aeron was talking about and nodded again "That looks like a good spot. Scylla, go land-" Her final word got stuck in her throat as Scylla tucked her wings in and began to descend. It was a fast descend or a steep one, but the feeling made Keira want to hurl. Taking a deep breath, she buried her head in her dragon's scaly neck, probably scraping her cheeks and forehead. Calling out to make sure he heard her, Keira said "Yes, it looks like a good spot! I'll meet you there!" She hoped he would hear the strain in her voice and not attempt to continue talking to her. Gods, this was horrible.
The ride took much too long, and the wind lashing at her warm body wasn't doing anything to cool it. Deep breaths seemed the way to go. She felt a sudden halt and opened her eyes enough to see golden wings snapping open, flaring out with wind resistance. There was another yank and a few trots and Scylla huffed out a breath, a tremor racking her body. Keira also let go of her breath and unwound her arms. They shook with strain and were raw on their undersides. She tried to shimmy her way to the dragon's mid-back and found that her thighs and bum were equally sore. The only way she was going to get off Scylla was if she fell or if someone helped her. And she wasn't about to ask Aeron for help. Taking a deep breath, she hauled her left leg over Scylla's back and pushed off, glad that Scylla noticed what she was doing and lowered herself to her belly. Keira landed with a soft thud that nevertheless knocked the breath out of her. She looked for Aeron and Balerion.

Aeron had Balerion start to circle the clearing as Keira nodded at his spot. He wanted to let her and Scylla land first since they had the least experience flying together. Of course, Balerion didn't like the idea of letting them go first, so his turns were tight, tilting his wings in such a way that in some spots they were nearly in a vertical line. Aeron was able to hold on, barely, mumbling to Balerion to calm down. He watched as the other dragon dove down into the clearing, hearing Keira yell back up at him that it was a good spot, but he heard that her voice was strained. He himself hated when Balerion dove straight down, but it was something that he did, so Aeron just held on.

As soon as Scylla was touched the ground, Balerion dove as well, without waiting for Aeron's command. Aeron, again, held on tight until he felt his crazy dragon pull up followed by the small thud that meant they landed. He slid off Balerion's neck, and looked over to Keira. He had missed the whole scene of her struggling to get off, but he did see her on the ground, breathing heavily. A smile formed on his lips as he walked over to her and offered his hand to help her up. "Didn't enjoy the landing too much, huh? I still don't like the way Balerion lands either, but I can't really control him too much." he said with an attempt to comfort the younger rider.

"So you hungry? I don't really carry food per-say, but I used to hunt for a living. This area is rich in game. It should take no time at all to catch a decent meal. Balerion normally hunts for himself, but I can have him stay here while I hunt, you know, so you know I'll come back and as an extra safety measure." he said glancing over at his dragon, who was giving him a hard glare. Aeron returned the glare back at his dragon, and Balerion soon reluctantly laid down, resting his head on his forelegs. "I insist you rest, because there is no way you can continue on foot like this, and much less after a hunt. I can also harvest some berries if you'd like as well. There are some wild berries that grow here. Just say the word."

{{forgive me for this ugly post, I am doing it quickly since I have a butt load of homework. :c

A sigh of annoyance and exhaustion escaped her lips. Slowly her hand extended up to her head and her fingers moved through her long, blonde hair. She began to think to herself for a long moment. This man hadn't found the others either, and she was the first of them to be found. This means the others are still out there, risking to be found by the king himself. Without the others the kingdom my fall apart. But as he spoke the finally bit, her ears perked up, as well as Siraths. She seemed to understand most English, and most of what people said to her. Very smart dragon she is indeed. But some of it takes her a while to comprehend.

"So there is a chance." she smiled happily looking over at Darien. She rubbed her arms lightly and gave a small smile. "Then we shall look for them now." she nodded before looking down at the ground. Her legs were stiff and soar. She could feel the warm sensation trickle down her legs. She let out a small sigh and gave a smile. "Land is a better option." she then moved her arms around Siraths neck and guided her towards the ground.

Sirath opened her wings and landed on the ground with a loud thump. After she had landed, Bell slid off. Her legs began to ache from the hard riding. She could feel the blisters that had popped, and the scabs that had reopened. She could feel the small trickles of blood rolling down her leg. But that didn't matter now. And she wasn't going to care about that at the moment. She was going to find the others with Darien, that was more important.

"Stay near, but out od sight of others." she whispered to Sirath and watched as she sighed and took off. "Let's go." she said turning to Darien.

He still hasn't landed, Keira gratefully thought to herself. She felt embarrassed and more than a little flustered at Scylla's lack of control. No doubt would her cheeks turn even redder at the sight of the male rider looking her over and shaking his head. Taking hold of the cooled golden scales of Scylla's stomach, Keira attempted to pull herself up. Of course she'd forgotten the whole ride and the strain it had placed on her arms, so all her pulling and tugging did absolutely nothing. Letting out her breath, she considered asking her moody dragon for help before she heard Aeron's voice. Snapping her head in that direction, she noticed he was standing over her, his dragon a few yards behind him staring coolly at them. When had they landed?!
Attempting to look semi-presentable, Keira gently rolled her shoulders and replied "It wasn't all I thought it would be, yes. And thank you," Keira takes Aeron's offered hand and pulls herself up painfully, wobbling dangerously on her sore legs before leaning on Scylla's side, "for your help. I greatly appreciate it."
She nodded as he spoke about food. Her stomach rumbled at the thought of being filled, but she got a bit wary at the thought of letting him go by himself (and leaving his beast with them without his supervision). "That sounds good, except for one bit. Is it safe to let you just go by yourself? I definitely can't accompany you, but is there any other way? I think I'd even prefer it if you went with Balerion, or if Scylla and I followed behind you, although that might make it harder for you to hunt. We could stay at a distance, Scylla would still be able to follow you and remain quiet. We could even hunt with you! I'd ride her and your dragon could come with us." It was a far-fetched idea, but she really did not wish to be separated from one of the few people on the planet that was like her, not after all the time she spent by herself.

Aeron nodded as he helped Keira up, but he could see that she was still not strong enough to stand on her own. He supported her weight until she was leaning on her dragon. "You're welcome. You'll get used to eventually. It takes time." he said with a smile. Even after his suggestion of her and Scylla resting with Balerion watching over them while he hunted, he wasn't so sure it was the best idea. Sure, she needed to regain her energy, but he did not entirely trust Balerion not to just run off, or worse get in a fight with Scylla. So, when Keira came up with a different suggestion, he nodded, glad he didn't have to correct himself.

"Okay, if you insist. After I've caught enough, we'll stop and rest." he said as he walked over to Balerion. All his weapons were hidden away on his dragon, in a black bag tied to one of his spikes. He retrieved his bow and and quiver full of arrows. Strapping on the quiver, he looked over at Keira. "You need help up? When you follow, try to be as quiet as you can okay?" he asked and instructed. He turned back to Balerion, and nodded at the dragon. Without a second to spare, the black dragon took off to go hunt on his own. He already knew the drill and Aeron knew he'd stay close.

She was surprised when Aeron agreed so easily; he didn't really seem like the kind to make a plan, hear another, and then agree with it rather than deny it and go with his own, regardless of what others thought. Then again, Keira didn't know him that well and perhaps he wasn't that mean or inconsiderate. Nodding, she agreed with his addition to their plans and said "That sounds fine. I don't carry any weaponry with me, so I cannot help you catch our meal. But I'll look out for fruits and herbs."
He walked back to his dragon, and Keira finally noticed where he must keep his belongings; she originally couldn't pinpoint the location of the black back due to the uncanny camouflage the dragon's spikes seemed to provide. Aeron produced a bow and some arrows, and a small shiver went down Keira's back. She seen weapons before, of course, and her uncle had shown her his kills more times than she could possibly wish for, but any sign of violence still bothered her. And yet, I'm riding a fire-breathing, sharp-toothed, man-killing flying beast without a second thought. Keira looked up at Scylla, no longer as interested in maintaining her stiff posture in front of the black dragon and preferring to look around, and smiled. The dragon, as if sensing her rider's changing emotions, looked down and flicked her dark-red tongue out. It seemed almost... confused. The look on her face was priceless, and Keira chuckled a bit before stepping away, trying out her legs. She confirmed it, they were still sore.
Not wanting to receive more help but knowing it was necessary, Keria mumbled "Aeron... I-I think I do need help." She hoped their current situation would prove her dilemma self-explanatory, but she wobbled back to her dragon and placed her hands up on Scylla's back nonetheless, looking down and trying to ignore the blood slowly rushing to her neck.

Aeron watched as his black dragon flew away to go hunt on his own. It took almost no time for Balerion to disappear from sight. Hopefully the dragon knew by now not to get into any trouble. Who knew? Maybe Balerion would find the other riders before the rest of them did. None the less, he turned his attention back to Keira, watching her chuckle to her dragon. Her relationship with her dragon was similar to his with Balerion. As she stepped away from her golden beast, he could tell her legs were still bothering her, so when she asked for help, it didn't surprise him as much as he thought it would. Keira didn't look like one who liked asking for help.

He walked over to her slowly, watching her dragon just in case. This was the closest he has gotten to Scylla yet, and he didn't know how'd she'd react to him. Balerion certaintly wouldn't let a stranger walk up to him. The dragon would roast anyone besides Aeron who tried. He wanted to help her up, but was unsure how to without being awkward. He didn't think she would have the strength for a leg up, which meant he'd have to pick her up. "So, uh, I'll grab your waist, and lift you up. You okay with that?"
