Tyler shrugged, "After I get James the rag, I really don't have much to do." Usually Tyler wasn't this uncomfortable around women, but it had been months since he had been near anyone really, "Um... Would you mind coming with me? I'll be quick and maybe we could get something to eat." He suggested. Tyler leaned against the door frame, noticing that Charlie was tapping her fingers against her leg. He wondered what kind of clothes the Whitecoats would give her. Tyler looked once around the room again. The Whitecoats had given this room a nice, mahogany wood full-size bed. It looked very comfortable compared to the two twin sized beds he and his brother slept in. They would have moved to a different room, but they didn't want to move all of their stuff. Plus, they were big boys now, and sleeping in the same bed would be more uncomfortable than awkward.

She smiled as he invited her to tag along once more with him, she wanted to stay in his company awhile longer the food was just an added bonus. "Sure, I could go for something to eat I'm actually quite hungry" she admitted patting her flat stomach, it softly rumbled against her hand causing a nervous laugh. She stepped forward to step out of the room but he was leaning against the door, looking up to him she arched a eyebrow and focused her hazel gaze on him "You know you'll have to move so we can go" she said good naturedly, she wasn't mad or anything that he was blocking the way but if they wanted to get a move on he would have to move.She noticed him searching the room, his eyes landing on the bed she looked over her hsoulder just noticing the large inviting bed. She remembered the small twin beds that had been in his room "Uh ah that's for me, don't get any ideas about switching beds" she said playfully turning her attention back to him with a grin.

Tyler laughed, "Take it? Nah." He let his panther claws slide out, they were cream colored and slightly dull, "I was just thinking about using it as a scratching post." He teased her. Transforming into this half-beast business was fun: the fluffy ears, the tail, claws, dark colored eyes, and oh, especially the growling/purring. Tyler smiled at himself mentally, it had been a while since he had had some fun. Back when he still lived in the city, Tyler went to a lot of party's. Sure they were fun, but in hindsight, he hadn't realized much they weren't fun then. Every night he went through the same ordeal; flirt with a girl, take her home, date her for a week, then get bored and find someone else. It wasn't exactly the best behavior or idea, but he was young then. Young and free. "The mess hall is that way somewhere." Tyler told Charlie, gently poking her in her belly and gesturing vaguely behind him with his thumb.

She gasped in surprie as once unknown claws sprouted fom his hands, grasping his hand she ran he fingers over the claws feeling the smooth texture. She ran a finger just under the curve, it left a red mark but didn't draw blood "You could use it, your claws are quite dull" she commented with a small smile. Suddenly realizing what she was doing she dropped his hand, her cheeks brightly aflame with a rosy blush of embarrassment. She took a step back "Sorry haha I like cats. I mean if you are part of the feline family every animal has claws I just assumed..." She said trailing off with a small laugh before she embarrassed herself any further she cleared her throat. "There are plenty of walls and door frames and other beds for you to scratch up so don't lay a claw on mine" She said softly poking him in the chest with a finger. She giggled softly as he poked her stomach and batted his hand away and stood on her tip toes to see over his shoulder "And how exactly do you expect me to find it on my own? I'll get lost in this place" she said crossing her arms over her stomach to protect it from his ticklish claws.

Tyler smiled, "Don't worry, I'll show you the way. Just wait here while I get that rag for James." he said. He jogged out of the room and down the hall, opening the bathroom door. Inside, he found a closet of towels, and he grabbed one that seemed small enough. Wetting the rag with cool water, he rung it out a bit and folded it in half. Tyler then ran back to his room, and placed the rag on James' forehead. He checked his temperature again, and then closed the door behind him. He walked back to Charlie's room, "Are you ready to go?" He asked her. Tyler flexed his claws, feeling the dull tips, noticing the tiny read mark on Charlie's finger. He wondered how she would react if he showed her his tail and ears, but decided to save that for later. After lunch.

She smiled as he said he would show the way, but it faltered once he mentioned his brother James. She worried still But hopefully her rag idea would help control and even lower his burning temperature. She patiently as he went to get the rag, she could hear cabinets closing and opening as he searched for one, and then the water running as he finally found one. She watched him pass by her room again as he went back to his own she stepped forward and leaned against the wall and waited for him to return, as he came toward her she stepped into the hallway and closed the door behind her "I've been ready since you mentioned food" she said waiting for him to lead the way.

Tyler turned down the hall, chuckling at her remark. They left the commons room, passing by several locked doors covered in frosted glass, and went down another hall. Tyler whistled a bit, peering around corners and in cracked open doors, always on the alert for any Whitecoats. "The Whitecoats gave us a special eating area. They have the food set out in foil dishes and stuff." Tyler told Charlie, slowing down a bit so he could walk next to her. He rested his elbow on top of her head as they walked, more to tease her than to actually rest his arm. Charlie was several inches shorter than him, a midget in his eyes. "The food isn't that bad actually, they had crab once." he said. Tyler's stomach growled loudly at the thought of delicious seafood, his favorite. At the end of a hall was a small, but elegant dining area. There were several square shaped tables paired with elegant looking chairs. White tablecloths covered them, their edges scalloped with lace and silver thread. Candles and flowers sat on top of the tables, and the food was set against a wall in the back of the room.

As they walked down the halls she curiously looked into each room wanting see what was in each one, but most of the doors were closed. Narrowing her eyes she tried to see through the frosted windows, but could only make out shapes inside and couldn't really identify anything. She sighed giving up her attempts and let her mind roam as they walked, listening to Tyler whistle ahead of her. She listened as he mentioned how they had created a special place for them, "Oooh fancy" she said somewhat sarcastically. As he slowed down to walk next to her she matched her pace with him matching him step for step. She looked up at him with narrowed eyes with a playful smile as she felt him lay his elbowing her head while they walked."You know, you may be taller but that doesn't make me an arm rest" she said with a small laughing she made no attempt to move his arm. It didn't really bother her she liked being shorter than most people. As they walked he continued telling her about how the food wasn't to bad, and laughed as his stomach growled as he mentioned crab "Well maybe they'll have some just for you" she said poking a finger into his stomach. As they entered the room her eyes grew wide in amazement as she gazed around the elegant room "Okay I take back my sarcastic remark from earlier it really is fancy" she said gazing about the room.
