Rikimaru left the shelter module slowly and silently, not remembering to wake up Monty. They closed the screen door to the rv-like structure and sat down on the ground, back laid against the metal walls of the shelter module. They closed their eyes and tried to think about anything except what had just happened.
But when you try not to think about something it becomes all you can think about.
They kept feeling his mouth against theirs, kept feeling his hand on their cheek and smelling his breath.
But worst of all, they kept feeling a fluttering in their chest that wouldn't go away. They felt light, like the gravity on this planet all but went away. They grabbed a handful of purple grass to root themself and braced themself against the shelter module to try to keep their head from spinning. They pressed their lips together, remembering the kiss. They had no idea what this rush of emotion was, and logically concluded their head wound was worse than previously thought. They brushed off the thought that they were in any danger and closed their eyes.
And all they could see were Reinen's.
Opening their eyes again, they decided their head wound was definitely severe. They wouldn't be thinking like this in their right mind. Let alone want to go back in time and feel his hand on their cheek again. They definitely wouldn't be thinking about his goofy smile, his beautiful eyes, and the sweet taste of his breath as they leaned into him...
They snapped themself from these thoughts sharply. "Stop that." they mumbled to themself.
He was hurt, he had a concussion. He didn't know what he was doing. So there was no reason for this to ever happen again.
Why did the prospect upset then?
They thought about their parents. When they were a little child their parents could be seen snuggling on the couch together. They looked so happy. And now Riki was wanting to do the same thing; to lay down with Reinen and hold him tight.
But... why?
They were sick. That's all there was to it. They huffed and stood up, walking over to Icarus. "Excuse me, but I believe I've sustained a grievous head wound. Could you take a look?"

P.I.X.A.L. nodded to Wesley "If you would come with me, you can help me locate the parts required." she turned back to Theo, and gave a sort of half bow "Excuse me captain" before turning, and walking back towards Libra, still going through the data-base, and locating the more essential android pieces as she walked. Not even noticing if Wesley was following or not as she made her way outside, and towards the Zodiac.

ALEC

Ah yes, the tunnels. Great tourist spot. Alec wasn't exactly overjoyed to be going back to where he'd learned an important lesson on gravity, but it wasn't like he had anything else to do, and at least this time he'd have company.
“Sounds fun. I am kinda fond of that ship thing, ya know, considering I was built for it. Real shame if we had to sacrifice it to the robot gods.” He backtracked to the shelter's opening, pushing the entryway open just enough for his hologram to intrude. “Hey, lifeforms, me and Minerva're gonna check out a maybe-danger zone. Seeya in a bit.”
Alec turned back towards Minerva, plotting a course towards the less vertical tunnel entrance. The previously-gathered plants caught his eye, and the AI purposefully took the long way around them as he set off on their journey....AIndiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Kale, eh? A hat not unlike the one used in certain adventure movies appeared on his head, and his legs dissolved a few inches to allow for the size difference. Much better.

"We can do that in the morning," Wesley said, still looking out at the sky. "I don't wanna go over there in the dark, god only knows what starts walking around here at night." It was strange, she reflected, night had clearly fallen, and yet she didn't feel the least bit tired. Maybe this planet rotated faster than Earth. Or maybe she was just hyper jet-lagged. "Say, captain?" She asked, looking over at Theo, "what do you think the people back home are doing right now? Do you think they'll notice if we don't come back?

Minerva raised a quizzical eyebrow at Alec's change of attire. "Really?" She asked, looking him up and down. "You're really going there?" She knew they were exploring a cave, but still, wasn't that a bit cliche? Well, two could play at that game. Not only that, she could do him one better. Minerva had never tried putting on clothes before, she hadn't exactly seen the need, but now that she tried it she found that it wasn't all that hard. Her form shimmered, and short shorts, a tank top, and combat boots materialized over her digital blue skin. They were blue as well, of course, she couldn't do colors, but the resemblance to a certain retro video game character Wesley had shown her was clear. Especially given her...physical readjustments. If they were doing this, she was going all the way. "Alright then, junkyard, Minerva said, flashlight beams shining forth from the front of the Owl, "let's get exploring."

Icarus turned to Rikimaru, lowering his violin to listen to the second in command before nodding, and quickly returning the instrument to its case. Icarus retrieved a medical scanner from his medical kit, turning back to Rikimaru. Activating the device, the doctor held it up to the back of Rikimaru's head, slowly waving it to each side. When this scan turned up no results, Icarus took Rikimaru's wrist in his free hand, quickly finding his pulse. Finding nothing irregular there, Icarus looked back to the officer.
"There doesn't seem to be anything wrong, and if there is, it's too minor for my scanners to pick up. You are likely just experiencing some form of shock," Icarus explained.

"O...okay." They weren't very reassured. If they were fine, why were they acting like... acting strangely? They put their hat back on and spoke "thank you. How is everyone out here?" Hopefully he wouldn't ask about Reinen.

"Everyone seems to be in a fairly stable condition at the moment," Icarus replied, glancing around their makeshift camp. As Icarus spoke again, it became apparent that luck was not on Rikimaru's side, "How's Reinen doing? Has he woken up recently?"

Rikimaru turned slightly pink, and their cheeks grew hot. The symptoms were back again, but why? They decided checking their watch was a good idea, allowing them to avoid eye contact. "Br-briefly, yes." They refused to elaborate.

Icarus gave a nod of acknowledgement, considering this for a moment before speaking again.
"You should stay with him when you can, to keep an eye on him. If his condition ever changes, come get me."

"He's asleep now. I suppose I could return later..." They nearly winced at the thought of seeing him again. He was going to be furious for sure.
