Monroe sighed, and nodded, grasping his hand and getting up. The Founders Tournament came into her mind, which made her sigh. She was going to ask Antonio to go with her, but what if he said no? She shook off the feeling and sprinted to the Hufflepuff locker room and changed, before exiting. She decided maybe to go to the Forest, it was a place she liked. Monroe started off, shoving her hands in her pocket.

Monroe soon saw the figure of a girl. She squinted her eyes and the noticed it was a Gryffindor girl who she knew as Rowan Clark. It was weird, she was just with Rowan King, and now Rowan Clark. The HUfflepuff sprinted to catch up with the girl, until she stopped, panting slightly. "Hi Rowan." she said to her, a small smile on her face. She wasn't good around people, but hey, why not give it a chance?

Rowan nodded at her question for the Founder's Tournament. He couldn't help but let out a small and weak laugh as she spoke, and as she waited for his answer he hadn't realized he'd been holding tightly onto the edges of his robes, before she did say something. His eyes flashed open and he looked up at her, the corners of his lips lifting into a smile as his breathing quickened a bit. "That's.. that's- amazing!" He breathed out before laughing a bit again, also wanting to hug her but restraining himself before clearing his throat and nodding maturely. "I mean.. of course, m'lady." He laughed a bit, his heart fluttering in his chest before he looked over, not hungry at the moment and only wishing the ball would come by sooner. Eating his meal while talking to her for a moment, he felt something shake against his foot. Looking over, he saw his wand, watching as the tip had a lumos spell locked onto it still. He murmured something to turn it off, but ignored it anyways. Standing up slowly, he offered her hand before helping her up as well, holding it in his before walking outside, the wind blowing against his black hair before they walked along in silence. It was night now, and his eyelids had soon gone heavy. Turning to look at Pepper, her face illuminated in the night sky, he bent over and kissed her cheek gently, before releasing and smiling softly at her. He'd always wanted to do that. All traces of nervousness had long gone left him as he watched her move gracefully before whispering something. "I've always thought you were beautiful. I guess snakes do have feelings to... strange." He smiled at her, his eyes glinting a bit as he held her hand tightly.

Pepper giggled at Rowan's first response and then his second. It seemed they were somewhat similar in that sense. she blushed when he said 'mlady' as shed never been called that before. She took a swig of pumpkin juice before pushing her full plate away. Shed only had a small amount to eat as she was never one to eat loads. Noticing his hand held out to her, Pepper gladly took it and got up from the table. She happily walked beside him as they headed outside. The silence was magical but she enjoyed every moment of it. They soon got outside and she glanced up at the night sky. She gave a soft sigh as she watched the stars. This reminded her so much of home. Returning her attention to Rowan, she was a bit surprised when he kissed her cheek and as always she blushed deeply and looked away a tad shy. Seriously? What was with her today? Shed never felt this shy or nervous before. Maybe it was just because this year she could enter the Tournament and finally go to the ball with the one person she wanted to. Or maybe after this long she was finally beginning to show her feelings for Rowan. His compliant caught her once again by surprise. Now though shed know him a while, she truly never expected to hear that from him but now she had it was almost like a dream. She smiled as she glanced at her hand in his. "Yes, its cruel how all snakes are stereotyped as one thing." She replied softly. This was true all Slytherins were classed as heartless and cold. Which was why Pepper never seemed to fit in to the house shed been placed in because she was the complete opposite.

Timothy walked past the corridor that lead to where he'd seen Rowan though now he saw Monroe with her. His grip on the broom tightened slightly and he let out a slow sigh. Iris was fine, there wasn't any reason to keep any angry feelings for the girl. He kept walking, maybe moving a bit more briskly and he made it to the Hufflepuff commonroom, walking up to the boys dorms and stuffing his broom beneath his bed before straightening out. He looked down at his Quidditch uniforms and he figured he might as well wear them, they were his favorite anyways. He sighed softly to himself yet again and he made his way towards the Great Hall, he looked towards the line for the Founders Tournament and he looked away almost instantly. He wouldn't be any good at it and would probably just end up embarrassing himself. He surely seemed to do enough of that. He slumped slightly and decided he didn't really want to be in the Great Hall, more wanting to be alone, or at least with just one person. He walked slowly through the back corridors, ending up in the back of the castle. He sat down on one of the steps and looked over at the Whomping Willow, the tree being fairly still at the moment.

Atticus had at first thought the girl decided to leave when she dropped back behind him though she caught up to him again. He looked over at her and folded his arms across his chest, the Hufflepuff's company was surely better than nobody's and he hummed in the back of his throat. "I was considering it." he shrugged after a moment. "A lot of the Slytherins have been telling me I'd be one of the better choices so I might just do it." he looked towards the Great Hall, knowing there'd be a bit more time before he had to have his name in the cup. He looked towards the room before looking over towards the library. It wasn't entirely silent but the charms they used on the tables were perfect for nice chats without mindless talking in the background. he considered it a moment before he turned left for the Great Hall. "You going to join?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. He stood aside, not wanting to get in line just yet though he didn't want to sit down since that would end his conversation with the girl. He lingered closer to the door, this way conversation would still be easily held.

such a pretty girl with a low self-esteem - what a sad sight. he sighed contently, turning around to view skylar from where he stood. it sucked she didn't have confidence in herself and totally degraded everything she did. "you thought of bringing their stuff up right? that's sweet. see, you're not useless. useless means to have no use, and you make yourself pretty useful. plus, it's not like our names are going to be called; it's just for fun." the ravenclaw pointed out with the charming smile he always wore. maybe this was to ensure he would get his way? if his words weren't doing the mission, then maybe his smile could help.

heyden was a guy; he never worried about what people thought of him or being the best. with all honesty, he felt he could mess up a million times and no one would care. talking to a girl brought in a new perspective regarding the tournament. for him, he felt he needn't put his name in. after all, the disappointment would be worse than never putting your name in. you got your hopes up and they were crushed. truth be told, he wasn't sure what he could say to boost shaylene's spirits up. he could tell her to put her name in, or not to put her name in. "well, if you completely lose you'll look like an idiot. i say to stay out of it and just watch. it's more entertaining that way. it's also a good way to make enemies and that's going to be exhausting." he pointed out with a shrug, leaning back in the chair and folding his arms behind his head. date? the blond laughed loudly, nearly spewing tears. that was nice - highly funny. once he composed himself, heyden shook his head. "you're making it sound like i'm putting girls names in a hat, then pulling them out. plus a lot of them really crank my style. i don't want a boring date, you following me? i want someone fun not 'i'm ugly gee, why did you pick me? pay more attention to me.' like, they should bring a cat if they feel so low about themselves. nah, i haven't thought about asking anyone. what about you? got anyone in mind, shay?"

Iris felt her cheeks get even hotter. No one had called her those words before. Did he maybe fancy her too? Iris felt herself start to get tired so she leaned more onto Lincoln and started to slow a bit. "No ones ever called me that before." She said softly looking up at him with big blue eyes. Ian smiled and looked at her, and then a scene from a movie popped into his head so he decided to try it. He reached out and tucked a piece of her dark hair behind her hair and gave a cute smile. "Its gorgeous." He said softly brown eyes soft and warm. His stomach was assaulted by butterflies. This could go 2 ways. She could blush, smile, and think he was being cute. Or she could get up and think he was being a prick or a douche. He really really hoped she thought of the former because he fancied her quite a bit.

Skylar looked into his eyes and then gave a soft sigh. She hated saying no, she felt like she was letting them down. "Ok... Ill do it." She said softly letting her gaze drop again. She started to chew on her lower lip, a habit she had started when she got nervous. "Its just for fun...it will be ok." She said softly to herself. With a breath the girl stood and looked up at the charming dark haired boy. "You lead the way." Her blue eyes had hardened a bit and she was putting on her best game face.

Lincoln grimaced happily. "Its 100% the truth. I'm very surprised that someone like you could be in Slytherin but as I said to me it doesn't matter what your house it." He spoke softly. As she stopped he did too and he felt her lean closer. Being silent for a moment, the gryffindor prefect put an arm around her and taking her hand in his free one. Should he ask her now? Maybe it would be better to do it later? He wasn't quite sure so stayed quiet as he thought. The ball wasn't for a while so maybe hed have plenty of time to pop the question or maybe it would be too late? All these questions circled his mind as he struggled to figure out when to ask one simple little question. "Will you go to the ball with me?" He murmmered not realizing that hed said it aloud. He froze and looked down at her hoping she hadn't heard that lame technique to asking. He quickly cleared his throught to cover up what hed said by accident.

Rowan, being as keen as she was, heard someone coming up from behind. She was just about to set in the forest too. Boy, now I'm in trouble, she thought, whipping around and expected to see one of Hogwarts professors chasing her down. It turned out to be no one but Monroe, however, and her expression changed from one of hostility to questioning.

"Oh, hello, Monroe," she replied, drawing her hand away from her wand which she had stowed away in her back pocket. "What are you doing out here?" she asked after a quick moment, not really waiting for her to reply to her greeting. Monroe, like herself, was a prefect, and could get her into trouble if she had figured out that she was going into the forest. Maybe she wasn't as up tight with the rules as Rowan thought many prefects to be, though. Perhaps she was like herself and enjoyed a bit of a thrill.-

Monroe looked at her. She could see the look on her face that looked like she thought that she was going to get her in trouble. "Oh- I was going to the- uh- forest." she muttered, looking at her, a small smile on her face. She knew that Rowan wouldn't tell on her, but if she did, Monroe would probably deserve it after what she did to Iris. "Care to come with me?" she asked with a small smile
