Mitch laughed at her joke, tilting his head back so he could look into the female's eyes. "You really think so?" He asked, glancing down at his chest where his heartbeat thrummed. It beat slowly, as if he were the calmest man on earth. Despite the real truth, with the butterflies fluttering in his stomach it was a surprise his heart didn't jump up into his throat.
He sighed in content, once again locking eyes with Lucy Ann. The corners of the male's lips drew upwards to form a pleased grin, showing his affection for his girlfriend. Mitch smiled shyly, his orbs darting from side to side as his glasses were removed. He never took them off because he'd always thought his eyes looked stupid, and tried to hide them the best he could. The fact she liked his eyes, made him feel good.
