valentin, pronounced vahlyenteen, yulee is a twenty nine year old shield agent
from novosibirsk, russia known as simply "handgun" to his fellow secret agents.
he was approached by the organization after tensions between shield and hyrda
grew to an all time high in his country. they were in search of youthful, native
individuals who would seamlessly blend in for undercover and tactical missions.
valentin, seventeen at the time, had had his fair run ins with the law. meeting
his first shield representative had been inside of an interrogation room while he
was awaiting penalty for obstruction of justice in a federal arms dealers case.
it was that fierce, unwavering loyalty to his gang that almost got him thrown in
jail. and what earned him recognition by shield. they offered him a way out. he
could either go to prison or join shield. naturally valen chose the latter option.
