"Yes, Dad. Got it. Okay. Okay. No, I will not forget to get the eggs! Milk, eggs, and bread. That is what you asked me to get, is it not? Three items. I think I can handle it. I'll drop them off in thirty minutes. Have Johnathan leave the door unlocked... Love you." Evelyn then ended the call quickly, sliding the phone into her back pocket. The doors before her slid open as she approached them, exposing her to a short breath of warm air from the vent above which shook off the chill of December. The store was fairly populated, but not bad. Which meant she hopefully wouldn't have to squeeze between people just to get three items for her father, who had somehow managed to break his knee after falling off a ladder while trying to change a light bulb. So now he was supposed to be resting for a few days before trying to move it. She'd moved out months ago, but since her brother was getting ready for some date with a girl she didn't know, the responsibility of getting a couple necessities was placed on Evie's shoulders today. Why they'd asked for the most typical, cheesy items, she didn't know. But they were paying her back, for the gas, food, and favor, so she was all for it. It's not like she'd been doing anything, anyway, except flipping through a newspaper to look for some kind of job. She was currently unemployed, and her father kept bugging her. To get him to shut up, she was at least trying. And, plus, she needed food. Badly. Her 'pantry' was 'full' of three packages of Ramon and a half-empty box of stale cereal. So, yeah, she needed a job.

Grabbing a small basket from the stack beside the door, she tipped her chin up to look at the signs above. Milk and eggs would be in the dairy section, but the bread area was on the bakery side. The two were on opposite sides of the store, cleverly placed. And between the two would be a bunch of stuff that Evelyn would look at and be unable to have, but would drool over it, anyway. Maybe if she was lucky, she could snag a banana or something and slip out without anyone noticing. It was just a banana. Nobody was gonna miss it. And she was pretty much starving. Her stomach was already starting to vocalize itself. With a frustrated sigh, mixed with a bit of a grumble, she started forwards towards the bakery section of the store, otherwise known as her favorite section. Fresh baked bread smelled amazing, and her stomach thought so, as well. She was a bit reluctant to go there, since the temptation to tear open something and eat it would be difficult to ignore. But, if she was lucky, she might be able to just snag a piece of the bread before she gave it to her father.

Evie was quick. She rushed to where the sandwich bread was layered on the shelves. She'd done this way too many times. Her father was rarely home when she was growing up, which meant she and her brother were in charge of the groceries for the most part. And she'd quickly learned that wasting money on candy and sweets was a terrible idea. It'd been a while since she'd treated herself at all to anything of that nature. Already knowing exactly where the whole grain bread was (her father would constantly encourage them to make the healthiest choices they could), she poked at a few loaves before pulling one out and setting it down in the basket. There. One down, two more to go.

Roughly ten minutes later, she was at the self-checkout, sliding items across the scanner until she heard the rewarding little beeping pop sound. Evie always preferred the self-checkout so she didn't have to risk possibly recognizing someone. While Evelyn could be social, she treated a grocery run like an important mission. No distractions. Conversing with someone would be a distraction. She didn't want to be here any longer than she had to. With a few presses on the screen, the receipt printed out for her to take, and her three items were in a plastic sack. Ready to leave, she took the bag and started to walk away, only to be confronted by a figure. She paused and looked up with a brow raised, only to see a tall, broad-shouldered man in a suit standing before her. Blinking, Evie took a step back to distance herself.

"Excuse me, Miss, do you happen to be Evelyn Grey?"
"No," she answered, lying easily. If she had any sort of common sense, it was working right now.
"Do you know a woman by that name?"
    "Sounds familiar... Why?"
    "We're looking for her."
    "No kidding. Why?"
The man frowned, grunting quietly. "You're the ex of Richard Brown, yes?"
Evelyn was not thrilled with where this conversation was going, but continued to wear an apathetic face to try and hide her nerves. "That's right."
"Then surely you know his house was lit aflame by one of his girlfriends. I'm sure you're aware of that situation, but the woman's name who did it is Evelyn Grey. We found a picture of you both in his phone, and since he hasn't been able to give us a straight answer of who is who, we're trying to find the two of you."
"Well, unfortunately for you, I am Sydney Meyer; the other one. I don't know where that other chick is. Don't really care, honestly."
"I see. I apologize for the mistake, ma'am. Have a good day." The man bobbed his head, and then left. Once he was out of sight, the breath she'd been holding tight in her chest was released. Shaking her head and briefly licking her lips, she carried on, purposely walking just a notch faster.

No, she was not Sydney Meyer. That was the other girl. But Evie was more than happy to take on the other girl's name. Fortunately for her, Richard had been injured in the fire, though it was technically an accident. Evie had thought he was out when she'd marched over to his house, and so she thought she was igniting a vacant building. Imagine her surprise when it wasn't. He hadn't been killed, but had received a head injury from a falling beam that had managed to hit him. It'd knocked some of his memory out, and, thus, couldn't match a name to a face. He had pictures of both girls in his phone, but no idea who was who. He also had pictures of exes, as well, so that only added to the confusion. His parents didn't know anything, and couldn't contribute. So, for now, they were looking for the right girl, but didn't know which girl to find. How did they know it was a girl named Evelyn Grey? Well, for starters, she'd carved her name into the side of his car. That was probably a big clue. A stupid move, definitely, but it wasn't the first time she'd screwed up. So, for now, she insisted to her family that they had the name wrong, and she had been framed by the other girl. They hadn't said anything about it, and she wasn't bringing it up, so she figured they'd accepted it. Which worked just fine for her.

Departing from the grocery store, she crossed the parking lot to where her motorcycle was parked in a spot. Frankly, she would have preferred an actual car, considering the winters here were not exactly gentle, but she couldn't afford a car and still be able to pay for gas. This bike had originally been her dad's, actually, but he'd given it to her once he had saved up enough to buy a car. She was in charge of gas and insurance. It seemed like every time I managed to find some money, it was ripped out of her hands. Had the been able to hold a good job, this might have been avoided. But, alas, she had been fired after cussing out a customer. But she had her reasons. That guy was getting too close for just someone who wanted to order a coffee, and she wasn't having it. But, apparently, her boss wasn't too thrilled about her behavior - for this wasn't the first time she'd caused troubles with the customers - and finally gave up on her. That was only two months ago, but she was already starting to run out of cash.

Swinging a leg over the seat, she plugged the key into the ignition and twisted it,the bike purring to life once more. She shuddered, cupping her hands around her mouth and breathing a harsh breath into them to try and warm up her fingers. It didn't do much, and the feeling lasted for all of a couple seconds, but there wasn't much she could do about that. Tugging the helmet over her head, which was old, scratched up, and a bit too loose for her head, she pulled out of the parking lot and drove off to where her old house was only a few miles away from here.

- Tyler Creed - 19 Years Old - Werewolf - In the forest - Currently alone -

Tyler awoke to the sound of scurrying chipmunks in front of him. He lifted his large white face from the ground and propped his ears forward as he stirred and woke up fully. He had forgotten he had stayed out and in his wolf form all night. He had spent a long night hunting meals, getting used to the whole area of the new pack house territory and just being a wolf. He stood up on all fours and gave a massive shake, sending water and snow in all directions. It was a chilly December day and it clearly snowed while he was in slumber.

Tyler pressed his nose to the ground and walked out of the thick bushes he had himself hidden in, His light white coat and deep gold eyes were no match for the dead browns and greens of the forest, but would be overall thankful for the winters snow when it came in bucket fulls.
Tyler made his way forward without any fears of being caught, it was one of the thickest and secluded parts of the forest ever and you would rarely see a human enter. There was one trail, but was almost fully overgrown by thorn bushes and grasses that stood at knee high.

"I suppose I'll go back to the pack house before they think I bailed on this whole thing" He thought nervously. He knew he was only here because he would get killed otherwise. Tyler had exposed himself to the public at age 17 while riding public transit. Someone was calling him out due to race and getting him worked up, He had transformed into his wolf form and caused serious harm to the boy, along with showing 32 other people his true self. He had to leave and live in the forest presently. He took on this mission of protection to save his life, and maybe- just maybe make a friend.

Tyler padded off to the small stream just a few feet away from him to lap up some freezing cold fresh water before heading back, until he heard the sound of a cracking twig off in the distance. His body froze still and his head shot up straight, his nose high and ears forward listing to see what it would be. He let out a soft growl from his closed mouth and remained in a defensive posture. Was it a animal? A human? He had no idea what to expect until the figure got closer so he could pick up a scent.

Gender Girl | Age 18 | Relationship Status Single | Protector Tyler Creed | Place Woods | Tagged Tyler Creed

The hooded figure moved through the trees, keeping itself hidden as she lurked in the shadows. The more she went on the more old memories tugged and pulled away at her. One stood out prominently, her journey through the woods making it stand out more than the rest. It nudged and pushed herein until she gave in to it, letting it take over.
She watched as a little girl, probably only about five or six years of age, but she looked much younger from malnourishment, ran through the trees. Her call was distant and sounded like something in between a cry and a laugh. Seconds later an older boy's head popped out from behind a tree and was followed by the rest of his small, malnourished frame. He was ten to twelve years of age, but looked much younger with his weight and size. His smile was as wide as a crescent moon stretching across his face and as bright as the rays of the sun shining down on them. The little girl on the ground, stumbled back a few paces before falling on her rump and bursting out in tears from the fear that shook her as the older boy had popped out to scare her. The older boy ran up to her and apologized while trying to sooth her. He took a seat on the ground and placed the girl in his lap. He began to hum a song he had made up a bit ago. It took a few minutes, but the young child was hushed and soon had a smile on her face as well. They both stood up and the boy spoke. "Come on. Let's play a game. A wolf game? How does that sound?" the little girl nodded her head dramatically for she loved wolves.
"Okay," the boy continued, we'll both be wolves running in the woods where our home is. So what's a few things we need to survive as wolves." the girl pondered for a moment before coming up with an answer that was like a dagger in the gut of her brother. "A home, all warm and cozy. Oh and a family too. Only lone wolves can't survive because they have no one to keep them warm in the cold night and hunt for them when they are too sick." her elaborate thought was far greater than thee words she put it in. When the boy heard it, his dark brown optics grew soft and kind and a bit longing. His smile felt the same. "Good, what else?" The girl thought again. She would have said food, but her thirst seemed to be far greater so she burst out the word "water". "Great! Let's go find the creek." the two took off down the woods path and headed for the water, the little girl growling on occasion, pretending to be her favorite creature.
The hooded figure watched as the lingering figures came from her memory, moving about like apparitions with voices that were so soft and muffled, they were nearly carried away on the wind. As they began to move out of sight and there presence soon to slowly dissipate, the girl picked up her pace in an attempt to follow them. She peered beneath the rim of her hood as she began to push through the plants covering her path and make her way closer, chasing down the memory. But it vanished too quickly and she wasn't able to stop her feet as they carried her to a steep slope. She skidded down it at first, maintaining her balance, but her angle shifted and she tumbled the rest of the way down.
The moment she reached the bottom, she sat up, gritting her teeth when she felt a sting of pain from her ankle. She didn't dare look at it or even imagine what it looked like for that would only make it worse. She looked up from beneath the rim of her hood which miraculously stayed on her head, and over at the water. As her vision cleared, her hazel optics widened at the magnificent sight of the white creature before her. A large thick pelted creature with a pure white pigment. It seemed to be looking straight at her. The more she concentrated on it, she discovered that it was. She grew ever more afraid, but tried to hide it as best she could knowing the wolf could scent it out and with a weakness now, she was in far greater danger.

- Tyler Reed - 19 Years Old - Werewolf - W. Andrew - Forest -

Tyler watched her fall from the top of the steep, lightly iced slope and flinched when she hit the cold frozen ground with a thud. His ears went forward and his defensive posture turned more relaxed as he realized there was no real threat to him- at least from the distance. To his surprise, it was a human. A small, tiny wasted, long haired girl that only looked to be no older than 16 or 17.

"Ouch.. that was a hard fall..I hope she's okay..."

He thought to himself as he kept an eye on her- noticing that she can see him and was watching him very consciously. He could tell she was scared, and of course he understood- Why would she not be. The talk of wolves in the town, and the stories about the werewolves that were around would have any human cold with fear. But of course, he was not going to cause any harm to the young girl. Even from the distance he could feel her heart racing, her fast pace breathing and her silent panics. He tilted his head to the side to get a better look of her face. She looked tired, uneasy and overall broken- Like there was something bothering her to the core. He felt a wash of sorrow rush over him for her.

"I just want to show her I wont hurt her, that I am not a threat" he told himself a few times in his mind. "But she'll probably scream.. or run.. or try to fight me.." he second guessed in his head, But ignored it.

Tyler stepped forward, walking slowly across the freezing cold water of the small stream that was only a few feet wide, keeping his head low letting the water splash up on his nose and muzzle, It was refreshing. He stepped out of the water and stood about ten or twelve feet away from the girl who was sitting on the dirty ground, looking at him with a look of pain, fear but with a small touch of amazement with visible injury to her ankle, he could see a little blood on her lower pants leg. He kept his posture loose and relaxed so there was no sign of him attacking or becoming aggressive and hung his head low and bobbed it a few times like a horse would do when looking for another sugar cube. his big gold eyes burning into hers as he was inviting her, or even welcoming her to something that she could never imagine.

JAGGER
TRENCH
| 19 years old | male | Species - Werewolf | tags;; |
"we are just creatures, who were born to carry on."
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Jagger's annoyance was beyond evident on his features as he strode through the city. His hands shoved in his pockets and his green eyes skimming the people that walked by. He forced his way past the crowed streets, wishing desperately to simply get back to the new place he was calling home. Home, what a funny thing to call it. Some massive looking manor that was just barely on the edge of city limits, shrouded in the wooded area walling off civilization from nature, hardly anyone knew where it was. Honestly, Jagger didn't mind, he had been informed he would not be the only one residing in the building, which was off putting, but still he thought that the new start was welcomed.

Not for the first time Jagger's mind reeled over his past few days, the deal he had made to protect the human girl. This should have been easy for him, really, but he had no fondness towards humans, and given the fact the girl he was assigned... This Evelyn girl, from what the file read... was convicted of some kind of terrible crime where she needed Jagger, however it had not specified on what that crime had been. Jagger gave an almost reluctant sigh as he ran a hand through his hair, preparing for something he wasn't willing to do. Now, Jagger was lazy in many ways, his temper was short and so was his attention span, so given the fact he hadn't but glanced at the girl's file he was a little at odds with the world.

Yawning a little in boredom Jagger felt a familiar tugging in his chest as he pasted place after place. This city was rather similar to the one Jagger had recently been kicked out of. Well, banished really, Jagger had killed seven people in that city within a few weeks and he had to run off before any hunters caught wind. But that wasn't the point. The city felt familiar in a comforting way, but Jagger knew no one in this hell, he hadn't met the wolves he would be sharing a roof with on purpose, Jagger hated to socialize, let alone deal with other wolves.

His skin was itching for some action, he wanted to find this girl, half wondering if she would put up a fight. That would be fun, Jagger had never kidnapped a girl before, if she did somehow catch on he would have a rather pleasant experience trying to outsmart her, Jagger lived in all ways for the thrill of the chase after all. He only partially could bring the girl he was guarding to mind in image, she was rather lovely for a human. But that was the problem. Human. The thought made Jagger's skin crawl when he thought about the fact he would have to deal with a human for god knows how long. Even passing by so many humans made Jagger feel irritation clawing at his chest, something of anger snarling in him, but he pushed it down.

Jagger's white hair was rather beacon in the massive crowds, though, to be honest, he rather liked the attention. Jagger loved when people looked at him, he loved the attention from strangers but hated getting close. His dark manner, charming physique, and rather stunning personality people found it hard to ignore Jagger unless he wanted them too. The feeling was of power really, he couldn't control someone's gaze, could bend people around his finger with the right manners. But now he was a bit of a overgrown lost puppy, looking for a girl who's picture he had hardly looked at.

It wasn't hard for Jagger to dig up some information on the girl. While it was hard to find her by her name, she was recognisable when he showed people a picture. However, a annoyed sigh laced his breath as he soon began to realize that it seemed he would be making a house call for the girl if he wanted to get to her today. Jagger was very impatient man, to be honest he couldn't even sit still, so his boredom of letting the day dwindle by sounded awful. It was the tricky part trying to find this girl's actual home.

ELIZABETH
WILDE
| 18 years old | female | Species - Human | tags;; |
" give your immortality to me; i'll set you up against the stars "
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Elizabeth's eyes skimmed the skies as she stepped off the bus, the deep chestnut colour reflecting the clear blue. She was tired, exhausted really, but she was still on full guard as she slipped past the other passengers, ignoring the calls of family meeting family, people rejoicing to see loved ones once more. Ellie had been on the bus for what seemed like ages, she rolled her shoulders, her muscles were aching as she thought over staying in this city for a few days. It was the first massive city she had come across in a while, and it seemed a safe place to reside for a few nights, but the opinion could change, all she knew was for now she had to keep moving, still weary of her fellow travelers. She liked the looks of the place though, the massive sign of humanity was bordered by a forest on the far city limit, making Ellie feel a small comfort.

Ellie fell into a calm walk away from the station and merged into the crowds rushing their ways back and forth in the city. That was one of many things Ellie hated, city buses. However, in general, she loved the city, the sites, sounds, the chaos, she adored it, it gave her a rush. Her bag, an ill packed light gray backpack, was almost weightless on her shoulders, it had very few things, some clothes, some food, some basic things that she needed. Yet, being as lovely, and generally kind looking as she was, Ellie had dealt with people trying to steal her things for weeks straight. Something about the fact she was a cute sweet, smiley girl seemed to draw people toward her that had negative intentions. It was interesting, but sometimes it was extremely annoying.

Elizabeth's mind was overthrown with concern as she let her gaze lock on the path before her, she refused to make eye contact with anyone passing by, positioning her pace carefully behind people as not to be shoved and pushed as much, one of the only things she hated was the audacity of some city people. It was a small blessing she was able to blend in well, her appearance was specifically rather plain when she was on the run. Her common plain shirt, jeans, simple straight hair and eyes. While she was quiet extravagant in appearance Ellie was very capable of manipulating not only others but herself to do what she wanted, be it appearance or not.

Something inside Ellie didn't feel right as she glanced around, she was pretty lost, granted, but she tried not to look it as she crossed a street, glancing at the street names. That was Ellie's biggest flaw. She was a skilled gambler with millions on her head dead or alive, she was sneaky and smart and fast and knew how to use a gun, but she could get lost almost anywhere, she was a terrible navigator. Her best issue was probably just trying to find someone to tell her directions to the nearest hotel or something, heaven knew Ellie still had enough cash to afford at least that, but her nerves were wired, she didn't want to even open her mouth, last time she got lost she had almost gotten discovered and killed, she had been running for so long she wondered if it was even an option for her to stay a few nights in a city. And, on top of all those rather good reasons, people were just flat out rude. She would be safe for just a few days, if she used false names and played her cards right she would be fine.

Biting her bottom lip Elizabeth shook her head, looking around with a more confused appearance as she tried to find a map or something, feeling stupid for not getting one at the bus station.

An exasperated sigh escaped Jerome's lips as he pushed through the passengers on the bus. He was incredibly sick of being around all these humans. Every thing about them drove him insane; the way the walked, the way they talked, even the way they looked at him was almost enough to push him over the edge. Not only did he have to be around these people for extensive periods of time, he had to stay in small, enclosed areas with them.
The young man stepped of the bus, relieved to finally be in a larger city. He paused in the swarm of people, combing through the crowds with his eyes, searching for her. She wasn't hard to find. The last few days had really allowed him to memorize every little detail about her appearance, allowing to pick her out in a crowd with ease. Jerome adjusted his navy blue jacket and straightened his tie before he began working his way through the wave of people, his eyes never leaving her.
Jerome was angry. He found this whole punishment completely ridiculous. What good was it to protect a human being? What was so special about this girl? What made her so important that she was deserving of protection, especially from himself. The young man could think of a million things to better utilize his time, but unfortunately for him, their were werewolves above him, ones he had to obey. His life depended on it, and if there was anything that Jerome valued, it was his own life.
It was ironic, really. Jerome's punishment for killing human beings was to protect one. He would say that he hadn't meant to kill those girls... but that would be a lie. They were completely and utterly deserving of what he did with. They kept droning on and on, so insistently begging for his attention. Well, in a way, they did. Jerome had never been able to keep his temper and his was especially irritable that night after dealing with his parents. They were such a pain, who wouldn't want to kill someone after dealing with them?
Jerome followed the young woman with the hope she would finally settle down for a couple of days. He was sick of having to follow her around and dealing with all these repulsive people. He was struggling keeping his temper unwraps having to be around all these people, many of which were quite rude. As if right on que, a man bumped into Jerome. "Watch where the hell you are going!" He growled at the man, using all his might to not snap right then and there. He didn't need more blood on his hands, not if he wanted to continue living himself.
At this point, the young man had caught up to Elizabeth, the girl whom he was protecting. Jerome trailed closely behind her, staying within a few feet of her. He knew quite a lot about this girl. She was a bad apple from a good tree. While all her brothers went on to do good with their life, Elizabeth turned to gambling and a whole web of trouble. She got pulled in too deep, too deep to get out. That's what he was for now. He was here to protect her, whether he liked it or not.

Evelyn Grey | Tagged; Open

Postby exixst » Sun Dec 28, 2014 7:35 pm

"Did I not say to leave the door open? Could have sworn I'd mentioned something about leaving the door open..." Evelyn grumbled to herself, repeatedly trying the door handle, despite the fact that it didn't budge any more than it had the first time. The damn thing was locked. Johnathan was probably already gone, off of his date, and her father wasn't going to get his butt out of the chair to open it up. And the garage door was broken, like it had been for eight years. She also didn't have a key to the house. She'd lost it months ago, and hadn't bothered to get a new one made. It's not like she stopped over here very often, anyway. And when she did, the door was usually left open.

With a roll of her eyes, she left the bag of three items on the porch and marched over to the fence. Stopping before it, she sized it up briefly, looking for a place to put her foot. Reaching up to grip the rough boards, she planted her toe in a small hole, and then hoisted herself up. Swinging her legs over one at a time, Evie then jumped down from the fence, landed on her feet, careened forwards a short distance, but eventually came to a successful stop. It wasn't the first time she'd been locked out. Wouldn't be the last, either. But the backdoor was usually left unlocked. And, if not, then she'd just have to scramble in through a window or pick a lock. She wasn't really a fan of the idea of breaking into her own house, though. The neighbors might call the police, and then she'd just be in more trouble than she needed to be.

Taking a breath, she wandered over to where the backdoor was, attached to the house by two of the three hinges. The top one was broken, and the door itself could probably be kicked down by a goose. But it worked. It's not like anyone was really going to break into this place, anyway. And, if they did, they weren't gonna find much. There were plenty of richer houses around. Gently swinging open the back door without bothering to knock, Evie slipped inside, planning to cross over to the front door to grab the groceries she'd left on the porch. But as she stepped in and turned, she saw an object flying at her head. Ducking immediately with a short, yelping scream, something shattered above when it hit the wall. Pieces of pottery rained down, a couple scratching her skin, two actually cutting through and bringing up a couple drops of blood. Heart racing from surprise, she scrambled away from the mess of sharp pieces, scooting across the floor clumsily as her legs refused to fully cooperate.

Her face flushing with anger, she heaved herself to her feet with the help of the counter, using it as leverage for her lack of stability. "What the hell was that?!" She snapped, looking at her father for a moment before flicking her eyes to the floor where the mess was. "Did you throw a vase at me?"
"I thought you were a burglar." Her father answered, though didn't seem too sorry about it.
"Well, I'm not. I'm your daughter. First born child, in fact." With a huff, she swept a hand across her cheek that stung just a bit, a subtle stain of blood on the back of her palm.
"Well, in that case, if it wouldn't be that big of a bother to you, could you clean that mess up?"
Evie was busy brushing pieces of pottery off of her clothes when he'd said that, but she simply looked up when he did, wearing quite the face. Straightening up, as she had been bent forwards to clean off her shins, she forced a sarcastic smile. "Sure thing, Dad."
"Where's the stuff I told you to get?"
"On the porch," she replied. "I left them there so I didn't smash any eggs when I climbed over the fence. Did Johnathan not leave the door unlocked, or something?" As she spoke, she left the pile of mess to get said items off of said porch. Twisting open the lock and jerking the old door open, she snatched the bag up, and then shut the door behind her.
"He was already gone by the time you mentioned it."
"Thanks for the notice," she said dryly. Going back to the kitchen, where she'd entered, she set the bag down and went to find the dustpan, which was somewhere in the pantry, she knew that, but when she opened it up, the thing was fuller than she remembered it being. So she had to do some digging.
"Oh, and, one more thing; could you cook me some eggs?"
"You're kidding me..." She grumbled quietly, but simply licked her lips and hid her irritated expression behind the door. Wrestling around with some cans of whatever, she eventually got her hands on the dustpan. "Sure thing, Dad. I'd be happy to."

Shutting the pantry door behind her, she set the dustpan down, and then dragged out a frying pan from the cabinet. Well, now it made sense why he'd asked for those cheesy items. He needed them to make some eggs. Or, rather, so she could make the eggs. Who typically did the cooking when growing up. This chick. Her brother was to focus more on school, and when he could, get a job and focus on that. So, pretty much, she'd grown to believe that her father was sexist, when, in reality, Evie just wasn't as intelligent as Johnathan was. Her potential did not involve anything with school. Her father had known that, but she refused to accept it. She blamed it on lack of desire to attend school, or when she did, she wouldn't often pay attention. Still, Evelyn didn't care for the man with the broken leg, and right now, he was only digging his hole deeper. Despite this, she cracked open the couple of eggs in the pan after twisting on the heat, discarded the shells in the trash, and then got to work on sweeping up the broken vase.

A short while later, she delivered the plate to her father, and had already put away the dust pan. And while she'd been 'tending' to these eggs she'd been making, she'd managed to inhale some food from the pantry, which relieved her stomach of its lonesome emptiness. Not being hungry, she was as crabby, but Evie was never in a delightful mood. She wasn't the kind of person you'd put in a yellow sundress and put on an allergy pill commercial. With such a smug attitude, Evie really wasn't all that great of company unless you had a very strong sense of humor.

"You said you'd pay me back?" Evie hinted, raising a single brow in question.
    "I did, didn't I?"
    "I do believe so."
He stuffed his face with a forkful of eggs, and then immediately after, took a bite of bread. It wasn't that he was starving or anything. He was just stalling. After swallowing his bite, he cleared his throat. "Well... I gave all of my cash to Johnathan before he left..."
Her expression was the opposite of thrilled. It was more of a restrained anger. "Please tell me this is one of your crappy jokes."
"Sweetie, listen, I'll pay you back once I can, and-"
"Forget it." She shook her head, rolling her eyes in irritation before turning on a heel and heading towards the door.
"I'll have Johnathan pay you back. He'll have some money left over, I'm sure."
"Yeah, I'm sure he will," she replied with a venomous tone to her words, sliding a glare to a man as she gripped the door. She tried to twist the lock, but even though she was doing everything she could, it wouldn't completely unlock. Cussing under her breath, she jostled it a few times, but it didn't give. Frustrated by many things at the time, she gave the door a firm kick to the base, but, fortunately, it didn't smash open from her foot. Evie was no superhuman. She was just a girl who was quite crabby. She wouldn't have been so upset had she not known the man was lying about not having money. He had money. Or, at least, used to. Not anymore. It was in her pocket, now. Someone had left a good thirty dollars cash sitting out on the counter. Nobody had put a note saying "DO NOT TAKE" or "EVIE DO NOT TOUCH", so she'd swiped it off the counter and pocketed it. No big deal. She needed it more than they did, for sure. But, still, despite the fact that she had the money, anyway, it was the white lie her father had spat out at her, which she'd caught with ease. But she didn't call him out on it, because then she'd probably get in trouble for taking the money in the first place. So, decided that it was better to take what she had, she kept her mouth shut, and then stormed out through the backdoor once again.

Evie, honestly, had no idea that there was a white-haired Werewolf searching for her, as well. She knew about the police, but not the Supernatural. She didn't even realize there was someone else with a fully functioning brain out there that knew of the situation. The cops didn't have all the facts, her family had hopefully believed her lie, and Richard was still out of it. She figured she and her secret were safe inside of her own head, as long as they didn't find that other chick and get the truth out of her. When that happened, then she'd certainly be making a run for it. There was no way she was going to let herself get caught. She didn't know how, exactly, she planned to avoid the law, but she would do it. She had a bike, the clothing on her back, and probably fifty dollars total. Yep. She was all set.

Still boiling from her father's lie, Evie started to throw herself over the fence once again, not even thinking about the fact that the thing opened from the inside and she could have just gone out that way. Her mind was too focused on the events that had happened inside; everything from the vase, to the eggs, to the money. But she wasn't focusing on climbing the fence, and as she moved to swing over to the other side, the toe of her shoe didn't quite make it over, and she didn't realize it. When she moved to jump down, she was caught. Her weight tumbled forwards clumsily, and she managed to let out another noise of surprise. Her toe freed itself, but only a moment later, her back hit the ground with a blunt thud, and the breath was knocked out of her completely. A certain discomfort shot through her stomach and chest, but nothing out of the ordinary. Coughing harshly, she forced herself to sit up, and then immediately sucked oxygen into her lungs. Once she had some kind of breath, she let herself slide back down to the grass, just a shaken by the fall. Not my day... She thought to herself, glaring up at the sky above her. A couple minutes later, she managed to convince herself to stand back up on her feet, considering the grass was starting to tickle and she didn't like it. With a hand, she ruffled her own hair scattering a couple blades of grass that had gotten caught in the strands. Once again, she wiped her cheek like before, the small open wound still bleeding ever so slightly and slowly. Tired and already looking forwards to a nap, she started towards the front yard to where her bike was parked, ready to just go back to her apartment. It wasn't that far away from here. Their house was planted inside the city with some other older ones that the city had been built around, which was perfect for her father, who worked in the city. He didn't have to travel too far to get there, though getting to school was always scary. She'd almost been hit by cars many times, though had yet for it to actually happen. Her apartment was a couple miles from here. Within reasonable walking distance, as long as you weren't in heels. Still, Evie wasn't leaving her bike here for her brother to use up the gas, so she was already reaching into her pocket to find the keys.

Andrew watched the creature from afar, hoping the distance would remain or extend. Although the wolf was a magnificent pure white and large in size and from afar was the most beautiful being one could imagine, up close it was almost never as pleasent. As she continued to watch the figure, a strange feeling came over her, one that uneased her. For some reason, she had a strange thought that maybe, just maybe, the wolf before her was-
Drew shook the thought from her mind. There was nothing one could trust full heartedly, so It wasn't possible. Or was it?
She watched as the white wolf began to step closer. This caused her already tensed muscles, became even more so the closer he got. She placed her right hand on the ground beside her and began to ruffle it through the leaves and dirt in search of an item she could use as a weapon. Not finding anything, she reaxhed for her pocket.
There was another weapon concealed on her person, one that may work better but hurt her more than help her in the end result. She couldn't bring it out in the open. She had to hide. She had to finish her journey before pulling it out and tossing it away forever.
The hooded figure once lurking in the shadows, not sat Ingured and on the ground, inches from a large predator; had possibly stranger and more death defying occurances in her life. But there were only enough to hold up on one hand. She pulled her hand out of her jeans pocket and a shiny item along with it. Switching the blade, she held it beside her, waiting for the wolf to come any closer. But she became buffudled as the wolf stopped and bobbed it's head a few times. She narrowed her hazel optics, not sure what to do but not becoming any less tense. The whole ordeal going on before her was causing her to nearly forget about her fall and her injuries she had sustained.

- Tyler Creed - 19 Years old - Werewolf - With Andrew -

Tyler watched her with his gold optics but jerked his head up when she pulled the shiny blade from her pocket, He stepped back a few feet slowly, whimpering softly almost like a puppy after it's been scolded. He felt uneasy, like she would get up and attack him. "But would she really come at an animal with such a dangerous background" he thought to himself as he shifted his weight with ears forward. Tyler was your typical "good kinda guy" who usually went out of his way for others, despite their backgrounds, histories or even if he knew them or not. He wanted to help this girl, but of course not with a blade in her hand.

He examined her facial expressions closely as they bounced around from fear, to uneasy, amazement, back to fear- all masked with that broken look he'd noticed earlier- And then one came across that he'd recognized well- Realizing- Recognizing. He knew that look too well- He had a flash back;

Tyler held the rack of inside the crammed metrobus of DC, people were overflowing off their seats and fighting for places to stand, babies crying and terrible smells. He was having a bad day in general with people and himself and his mood was low. A boy then proceeded to toss paper balls at the back of his head, kick his seat and slander his race- Tyler was part native American from his mothers side, and part American from his fathers side. He had a darker tanned skin, large golden eyes and dark hair that swept over his brow. He was considered attractive at his schools- Tyler sat through most of it until he mentioned slander about his mother who passed away, at that moment he was fed up and turned around and screamed at the boy- who punched him directly in the face full force. Tyler burst into his wolf form in the crammed bus and grabbed the boy by the arm throwing him to the back of the bus. The bus grinded to a hault and people started screaming and fleeing the bus, some crying and others calling the police. He snarled in anger and looked to his side, seeing all the same looks at the girl was giving him now-

Tyler shook his head pulling himself out of his terrible past. His eyes still trained on her, he realized that this was the girl he was going to protect, he could tell just from looking at her, he had been looking for her for a little while now. He stepped back a few steps and lifted his head, morphing back into his human form- From the spot that there was a majestic white wolf now stood a boy, about 19 years old wearing just a pair of tan khaki shorts, he had a tee-shirt balled up in his pocket. He was very lean with some muscles but nothing overdone. His skin was a beautiful olive tanned tone, his black hair was a little long and stopped below his brows. He looked at her with the same exact golden eyes that the wolf had watched her with before.

"Hey now.." He spoke in a calm, low tone. He spoke clear English, but his voice had a very small native accent to it that was easy to hear lingering only on certain words. "Lets take things slow, okay.." he lifted his hands from his sides and held them up flat infront of his body, he had a small tribal paw print tattooed in black on his wrist just under his hand, only about the size of a coin. He nodded a few times. "Please put down the knife.."

"You're safe now..."
