⚓ William was born under the richer parts of the country, his father a first mate for the Queen Elizabeth, where his mother was a simple housewife. Little William always had a passion for the sea, just like his father, and often would slip away at night and run down to the ocean in the darkness of the night. Plopping himself down in the cool sand, he'd watch the dark waters sweep into shore and then retreat right back out. Will would always narrpw his eyes to see if he could see the Queen Elizabeth from where he sat, but would never be able to see the black outline of the ship his father was out sailing on.

⚓ Will had always been a big dreamer from the start, and he believed that you had to work hard to achieve those dreams, so by the time William reached ten years-old he was already running around trying to make chump change, and gained experience while doing so. William had been the one doing the jobs no employee would want to do, moping the decks, emptying and cleaning the barrels and making short deliveries to places nearby. The money William earned was put into an old jar that was filled with nothing more than a few coins he was given for his work.

⚓ When Will turned thirteen he had gotten the news that his father had died at sea, and after that his mother had lost it, she wasn't there anymore, she had one night visited the sea and the sea had swallowed William's mother, leaving him wothout parents. William continued to work, doing more and more to prevent being sent to an orphanage, and so he could also make money. When he turned fifteen he began to work for fisherman, going out to sea and catching fish for people back at the port, and continue to be a fisherman, until he turned seventeen, and got accepted to be apart of the crew on the Queen Elizabeth.

⚓ William was easily recognized as the former first mate's son, leaving Will with a good name, making him bump up to first mate within a year and a half, and by the time William turned twenty he had achieved his biggest dream, to be the captian of the Queen Elizabeth. Today Will can imagine his father working on the same ship with him, under Will's rule. Will's life had began to start off the way he wanted the insadent with his mother, however William never talks about it, he tends to avoid the topic about his parents, his father because he hardly knew his father, and the sea had stolen his mother, and that was one thing that hit Will right in the gut, creating a soft spot for him, which also solidified his personality and attitude to the core of him. There isn't anything particularly special about William, besides that it takes an awful lot to get to know the truth about William.
