Cαѕтιєℓ ✞ мαℓє -|- αиgєℓ -|- αgє υикиσωи -|- ѕιиgℓє Pain. The only thing that somewhat transcended through to human words that dully explained the state in which Castiel was feeling. The remorse, the guilt the agony of seeing thousands upon thousands of his brothers and sisters pouring down from Heaven in beams of fire. He almost felt nothing, numbed by the terrific turn of events but also felt everything. He looked to his hands, covered in dirt and fragments of pebbles embedded into his palms. He brushed them off and slowly picked himself up. He was in a small section of trees, so he took several steps out to the small lot in front of the decrepit chapel to see it. The fireballs lighting the night sky as angels lost their wings and were sent banished to Earth- a place many were foreign to. The worst part was that it was his fault. Of course it was truly due at the hands of Metatron, however those were but small details. Castiel was used as a tool to deconstruct Heaven and lay waste to the surviving few angels.
He slowly diverted his eyes in shame and remorse and trudged along the road, away from the church and the Winchesters. Though no matter how far he walked he could never outrun the sky- scorched in fire of his falling family. Castiel was not like the rest however, though weak and without his wings, he also was stripped of his grace- his very power as an angel. He was for the first time, completely human but he discarded these thoughts for the time being. He continued to trudge the road, which swerved into a semi-abanonded highway- winding around the quiet forest that seemed not to understand the severity of the falling sky.

The townspeople were up screaming their heads off about a meteor shower. Reagan was roused and stumbled from her motel room as some started praying and others excitedly taking pictures. The disgruntled hunter pushed past them all, staring up at the sky in disbelief and slight horror. The angels are falling. She had never actually come into contact with an angel before, but lord knows how many times she had heard about the one that befriended a pair of hunters. Grabbing her duffel from the run-down room, Reagan heads past the lingering crowd and heads down the road towards the plummeting balls of light. Reagan remembers vaguely how her mother used to say the angels watched over them, especially when her brothers got involved in hunting. Now, she's not so sure they can do that any more. An angel slamming to the earth maybe half a mile ahead of her prompts the red-headed hunter to break into a run, coming up breathless and panting to a pair of wings scorched into the earth. Looking around her, nothing else seems to be stirring. The strange phenomena above her causes Reagan to question her next move. Thousands are dying for no apparent reason, but yet the hunter doubts she can ever find out why the angels are falling to earth.

Of all demonic things, there will be light.
Kacey was silent, she was strolling down the street it town. She was busy thinking about how much she didn't like people.
Kacey was dressed in a black strapless dress and a black cardigan over it, she was silent. Her dark brown hair was pulled
up in a messy but cute sock bun, she was wearing black ballet flats on her small, size four in women's feet. Kacey wasn't
feeling well today, which was strange because she never got sock. Because of this Kacey was not wearing and makeup.
Kacey walked inside a coffee shop, ordering herself a black coffee. Kacey was sitting at the bar of the coffee shop sipping
away at the coffee when an older man leaned over to her, asking her if she was excited for the meteor shower. Kacey was
confused, things like that didn't just happen in summer. She stood up, without responding to him, Kacey took her coffee,
standing on the side of the curb, which would stare out at the intersection there meek road and the highway shared. Kacey
watched the sky silently, watching for someone falling. She knew what was going on. Kacey watched as a speck fell from
the sky, she was reluctant to move, before she set the coffee down and set out along the side of the deserted hallway to
find what ever it was. Kacey stopped after a good one hundred yard jog, staring at the figure who was headed in a direction
away from her. Kacey just stopped and watched. She did not speak, she was to amazed. Could that be an angel? Kacey
wrapped her cardigan around her frail body one more time, her hands grazing her highly defined ribs. She was not an average
weight human at all. If this was an Angel that would probably mean the figure would end up killing her or something, Kacey
had never actually been this close to an angel before. As that person continued, Kacey fallowed.

Nadira was startled awake by a brilliant flash of light. She straightened up and remembered where she was after smacking her arm on a steering wheel. She'd been low on money and, rather than pickpocketing, decided to pull over and sleep in her car for the night. With half-shut eyes, she squinted out the window of the car. Her view of the sky was slightly obscured by trees, but there appeared to be...meteors?
Curiosity getting the better of her, Nadira decided to clamber out of her car and take a closer look. She padded softly to the side of the road and cast her eyes upwards. She had only ever seen one meteor shower in her life, and it sure didn't look anything like this. This was something different, something more dangerous. After all, she knew the Winchester's were in town - and God only knows what followed them here.
Nadira contemplated grabbing her backpack - a scrappy old thing that had been tied together with rope - but decided against it. Instead, she holstered her pistol under her hoodie and made sure her handy switchblade was in her pocket. She then left her car safely in the dark of the trees and began walking down the side of the road to investigate.

A suddenly, but quick, tremble of the earth below gave me curious thought's of what was going on. I tried hard not to force myself to find out, but after several minutes of irritating scrambling and blurred shouts and screams I got up off the motels sofa and opened the door which stood next to the small "kitchens" sink which was dirty and unused. Outside the door there was a long and narrow carpeted passage which lead to a set of stairs. As I stepped out the door it appeared that no one was in there rooms. I followed the passage until I got to the small stair case. There where to sets of stairs which led upwards and downwards. I decided to walk up the stairs since most of the racket came from that direction. The further I tracked up the endless column of stairs the louder it become. There was a small girl sitting on the top of the stairs, behind her there was a large group of elder people gazing up at the sky through the open patio. "What's going on" I asked the girl impatiently. She looked at me holing on tight to the end of her skirt. "The stars are falling” she replied softly.

Reagan continues on through the forest, moving as quietly but as quickly as she dares. Of course, the one town she thought she could get away in happens to be too close to the town those Winchesters must be in. The redhead lets her hand dangle against the holster on her thigh, fingers idly tracing the smooth bone grip of the revolver. Nothing special, but a family antique. Lord knows how much a Colt could be useful right now, though the angel blade tucked in the inside pocket of her jacket may come in handy. Reagan pivots on her heel as the trees begin to thin and figures appear on the crumbling highway. Adjusting her backpack, she watches as they move down the road. The smaller of the two she can see seems to be a child, or an incredibly small adult. Reagan hesitates, letting the others get farther down the road before setting out after them. Maybe not the best plan, but she knows she has to start somewhere.

Nadira could see others moving the same way as her, and hoped there wouldn't be a fight or anything that could be dangerous to unarmed humans. She briefly wondered if there were other hunters nearby - maybe she could grab some information from them? - but shook the thought out of her head.
She could see a figure in the distance, someone who was too far away to cause trouble just yet. In the dim light, Nadira made out a feminine shape and red hair. The figure was moving fast, but it appeared as though she was trying to keep out of sight. Nadira, however, stopped herself in her tracks.
It had occurred to her that she had no idea where she was going; no plan, no background information, no backup...hell, she didn't even know exactly what was falling from the sky.
"Perhaps I should find someone and ask them," she murmured to herself.

fc; Nathan Fillion
basic info ⇢
name; Nurielvessel name; Keith Ericksonvessel age; 41vessel height; 6' 2"gender; Male species; Angelrank; Seraphimweapons; Angel Bladepersonality traits; Loyal,
determined, serious,
loving, very curious.
"Some day we will get to go
home. Until then, can we not
do a little good down here?
Or can we only help ourselves?"

"I try to be the best, but even angels have flaws."
personality ⇢ Nuriel is known among angels as a strong, leader type personality. A superior ranking angel, it came in good use to have a confident and determined demeanor. He tends to have an answer, as he is accustomed to having lower angels look to him for guidance on their orders and mission. Of course in the past these answers came from even greater angels and the orders and mission given to him. His loyalty has always been, and he is determined will always be to Heaven, his father, and his brothers. Although very tough and strict on the mission Nuriel has always seemed unwilling to sacrifice any of those around him unless directly told. He has a strong love for his family. Along with expecting respect from other angels, he also gives it. Leaving him with a very fair and trustworthy reputation. The angel has a great respect for humanity as well, and isn't so quick to sacrifice a human for his means either. Although he is a firm believer in "playing your part" in the issue at hand. He's a bit of a stubborn individual as well. Nuriel is liable to easily be misled for the good of the "mission", and doesn't really seem to notice lies all too well. Nor does he lie well himself.
Despite being unaccustomed to life on earth, Nuriel has a fascination with humans and their lives. Previously having stayed in Heaven as much as possible his contact was limited. But in recent times the seraph has found an interest in the beings that inhabit the world. The humans and all their features, the good, the bad, and some of the odd parts of the world. Still focused on his own kind and their greater good, he also finds himself time with other people. Actively attempting to learn a bit. If even just to use in later issues involving interaction with humanity. Though he is hardly near human, being very serious and very rough at times in how he treats people. Brutal honesty, ordering and expecting to be followed, questioning everything as if it were wrong. Nuriel is not all that popular with the humans around him despite his personal interest in them. Like many angels, humor and sarcasm go right over his head. Popular references? He won't get it. The angel doesn't understand the idea of fun and enjoyment while there is work to be done. He is willing to help those who need it, and deviate from the greater mission for short times. But for a break or enjoyment, not so much. Sometimes it just seems like he tries too hard. Nuriel naturally seems to attempt to be the leader, even where he doesn't really know what he's doing.
"I have not spent much time on earth, but now I cannot leave. I may regret not visiting sooner."
angel background ⇢ Nuriel is typical of angels. Created by God a long indeterminate time ago. His exact age is unknown, but predates humanity. Created to be superior to other angels, he always had a leadership role among other angels. Although obviously always below the Archangels in ever way, he took the orders from them to the lower and he was pleased in his role. Nuriel was always loyal and never considered doing anything but his job. It was how he was made, to do his job for his Father, Heaven, and the higher angels. He always had an interest in earth and humanity, but he rarely visited. And for many years the angels remained in Heaven as observers, Nuriel included. When the Apocalypse came and went, Nuriel's focus was to prevent Lucifer's escape. As he found that wasn't the intention of the other high ranking angels he took a hands off approach in the presumed safety of Heaven. Without much success, except for remaining generally unnoticed and losing fewer of his subordinates. With the division of Heaven, Nuriel wanted to take a peaceful approach. Not wanting to deal with loss of his brothers' lives, he tried to keep from involvement. Instead the seraph attempted to focus on his original orders in watching over humanity. He alienated himself from some of his brothers, as he refused to join their side of the issue. He refused to pick sides, wishing for the ways it used to be. He was lucky to remain on a whole unnoticed.
But even Heaven wasn't entirely safe. Nuriel, in protection of his life as well as avoidance of taking sides between beloved brothers, left for Earth. He found a suitable vessel, and kept track of activities going on between his family, but attempted to remain out of it and out of sight. Although not normally a fearful individual, the concept of war between angels, war of many factions of angels clashing for control, it wasn't something he could handle being present for. The many splits in the family saddened him, and he just didn't want to be involved. Somewhat he tried to fit with the humans, taking over his vessel's occupation for a while and really attempting, his attention was constantly on his worry for the other angels. And it seems the worries weren't unfounded, as the worst outcome he could think of has occurred.
"He gave up on life, and I gave him a new purpose."
vessel background ⇢ Nuriel's vessel was a 41 year old law enforcement officer named Keith. The officer had a generally happy life for the majority of his years. Pleased in his work and proud of it. With a wonderful family, a wife and children, who he loved more than anything. He was well adjusted, happy, with his life set just how he wanted it. At a point where it seemed that nothing could ruin that. It was, well, perfect. So when the unthinkable happened, when the worst thing possible occurred to the poor man, it all crumbled into a pile of memories and a dark empty future. The loss of his wife and children in a vehicle accident shattered his hopes, his dreams, and all of his happiness in one. All of them, all at once. He was desperate, begging for some answer as to why. Why it happened, why to him, what his purpose was if he was not meant to remain happy. Angry at the world, and even God, he was just broken down. So when Nuriel entered his dreams and offered him a higher purpose, bigger things to do, the broken down man agreed to Nuriel. He allowed him in, as Nuriel promised he would surely one day see his family again. Keith would do anything to see them, and trusted Nuriel who had taken a familiar face to meet with him. Keith put his trust in Nuriel, and the angel intended to do him justice and continued his work as best he could while 'hiding out' from his angel brothers.
weaknesses ⇢Angel Blades are both painful and deadly to him
like all angels. He will avoid fights including
these at all costs, although that is becoming
more and more difficult. He is fearful of
potential death.
Holy Fire another common one between angels,
and he particularly hates being trapped.
Some personality traits of his can cause him
many problems. His strong love for most
all angels, as well as humanity, can cause
him to do a lot for them. Potentially more
than they would do for him. Nuriel's desire to
constantly work toward their mission, and do
most anything for it can make him also
easier to mislead than some others. His
traits being so strong and being so stubborn
causes him problems particularly on earth.
All Common Angel Weaknesses are
issues for Nuriel, he shares the same
weaknesses as all of his fellow angels. He
is very well aware of these.
"My brothers, why can we not just get along?
He did not create us for war with each other, what are
we doing anymore? We have lost our way."

abilities ⇢Imbued Powers, as a Seraph Nuriel's powers operate and work
independently of heaven. Although he may become weaker
with using heavier powers where he normally could
without an issue when connected to heaven, he can still
use all of his abilities. This is beneficial with the Fall
that has occurred and he is very thankful of this.
All Standard Angel Powers are things that Nuriel can
do, although he definitely does not use them all. Some
abilities he can actually do better or easier.
Teleportation, due to his status as a Seraph and independent
powers, he can still do this. He also didn't actually fall, so
he still has his wings.
Healing of both himself and those around him.
Nuriel can do this well, and heal himself very quickly from
most injuries, although he can't heal as quickly from injuries
by Angel Blades and other heavenly weapons. These will effect
him longer. He is like all angels not vulnerable to diseases
or to die by conventional earth means.
Dream Walking is what he used to meet with Keith
and get his permission to occupy his body. Nuriel can do
this well, and can use it to communicate when fearing being
listened to.
Reality Warping and Mental Manipulation are some things
Nuriel has recently found useful. Whether to fix a person's
memory of a mistake he made, or to fix, break, or move
items within a room without having to actually touch them.
He's found it to be a nice touch and save time, although
has recently found interest in the challenge of not using this
and doing things by hand like fixing or putting items together.

Cαѕтιєℓ ✞ мαℓє -|- αиgєℓ -|- αgє υикиσωи -|- ѕιиgℓє Castiel trudged onward, winding slowly through the night until a hazy sunrise gave way over the treetops. The angels were all fallen, most of which were without vessels. Their voices echoed panicingly inside his head, swarming in circles in a confused chaos. Everything was in ruins; Heaven, Earth, and the mask of confusion only would lead to something or someone worse. Then unknowing to Castiel, a sharp pain reverberated from his abdomen area. A low gargled grumble moaned from his stomach. Confused, Castiel tried to keep walking but only then felt a weak sensation over him. I am hungry? Aches and pains forwarded in his semi-conscious state as he realized he had been walking for miles all night. Normally such occasions would have no physical affect- after all he was an angel. Or was he? He glanced down at his legs, the pants slightly dirtied from falling and his shirt caked in dried blood from having his grace sliced out of him. "Graciously" Metatron healed his wounds, but Castiel felt awful none-the-less.
After another arduous hour later, he came upon a mile-marker sign which said Shell Gas station: .5 mi. He followed the road until he found the foretold rest stop and immediately went over to the payphone. Unfortunately it was occupied so Castiel went up and said, "Excuse me, I need to use that, it's urgent." With a blood curdling glare the motor-cyclist gave him a side ways glance as if to say: 'I don't care wise-guy' and continued his call. Castiel then touched his two fingers to his forehead, assuming that it would instantly put the man to a restful sleep, when in fact he was only met with a series of annoyed and confused stares. Before long the man whacked Castiel in the face with a full force fist before dropping the payphone and walking off. In pain, Castiel touched his face to reveal a trickle of blood coming from his left cheek. He brushed off his hand and legs and stepped up to the payphone. He dialed Dean and waited, hoping that he would receive some sort of response.

Of all demonic things, there will be light.
Kacey was stopped following the angel after a while. She walked back to the coffee shop, picking up her coffee once more.
She climber into her silver Saturn car, turning it on from halfway in the drivers seat. Kacey closed the door, rolling down the
window. She made a very annoyed looking face at the gas meter, which was a millimetre of an eighth of an inch away from a
red line, which indicated it was empty and suggested she only had a twenty minute drive, which she would make heading to
the nearest gas station. Kacey stared over at the coffee shop, finishing the last sip of her coffee. Kacey drove down the street
taking a short cut to the Shell gas station. In the car she had completely forgot about the person who had walked off into the
darkness. Kacey sighed a sigh, her elbow resting on the bottom of the window, her hand resting on the roof of the car. Kacey
was silent as she drove with her right wrist. The radio was turned onto one hundred point three, listening to Sweet Home
Alabama play in the background. Kacey was silent. Kacey pulled up to the gas pump, she filled her gas tank herself, watching
two men converse at a payphone. Kacey watched one of the men, in a trench cote poke the biker, then the biker upper cut the
man. Kacey didn't do anything at first, until she was sure the biker had gone. Kacey approached the man who had been punched
meekly. "Are you okay?" she asked Castiel, her Spanish accent thick in her voice.
