The rider, now identified as an Aeron Stark, bombarded Keira with questions. Unfortunately, she was still a tiny bit affected by recent events and could only stare at him dumbly, mouth unquestionably hanging open. The black dragon was intimidating; of course, he was a dragon, he was meant to be scary, but Keira had never felt the same way towards Scylla. It was very interesting.
At his accusations, Keira's brow furrowed. Now, it wasn't as if she had no control of her dragon, Scylla simply liked to play with her. She would never actually do anything to bring either of them to harm's way, she was certain. And that village almost-incident had most definitely been a joke. Who was this Aeron to act high and mighty? He wasn't that much older than she , a year or two at the most; was it because of his dragon? It also didn't look much older than Scylla, there was only a size difference. In attitude, they were both completely the same: they regarded each other with cool hostility and kept an extremely rigid and still stance.
With a voice clearly different from before, Keira replied "We did not go into the village, Scylla simply played a jest on me and I fell for it. We wouldn't actually get caught. We've traveled exclusively through forests and sometimes even over small mountain ranges and never once gotten seen and all I had to do to catch you was raise my eyes to the heavens. Do you really believe people will not notice a giant black figure in the sky? You're bound to inspire chaos!"
Standing a bit more solidly, Keira put her hands on her hips and regarded Aeron. She didn't know there were other riders, even though she'd definitely dreamed of the possibility. She definitely did not imagine meeting one to go this way. "Two more, you say? Well, I doubt they'll be as easy to find as we were." She grinned a bit, both at her own uncontrollable dragon and at his way of traveling.

After the girl's rambling beforehand, Aeron really didn't expect Keira to stand-up for herself or even defend her dragon's behavior. He listened to her explanation with crossed arms and a rather smug smile on his face. This Keira was one he could probably put up with at least. When she was finished defending herself, he held his position. She may have stood up to him, but that didn't mean he was intimidated enough by her to take back what he said.

"Joke or no, your dragon's stunt could have ended badly. And for your information, Balerion was flying low for a reason. At the normal height we fly at, people cannot tell the difference between us and a black bird, which are rather common, but at that height, we cannot see people below us. Besides, Balerion and I know this area. We grew up in these forests. There are no villages close enough to see us and very few travelers come this way, which is why I suppose you are here as well. And further more, I just informed you I was looking for other riders, and even if you weren't aware there were others, the remaining two may know. If we fly low enough, they could spot us and speed up the search." he answered contently.

Aeron's hand was still on his dragon's snout. It didn't really bother the dragon that she had spoken back to his rider, but when she put her hands on her hips, Aeron felt the smoke start to trickle out of the dragon's nostrils. If he and Keira kept up their wonderful conversation much longer, he knew Balerion would lose it. Better that the black beast be in the air doing something than building up aggression towards the other dragon and her rider.

"Well, now that I've found you, it would be best not to get separated. Can you fly? The faster we find the others, the better off we'll all be." he said already climbing back up to thee base of Balerion's neck. Before he was even settled, Balerion stood up, not taking off yet, but watching the other dragon and rider, waiting for their response. Aeron rubbed the dragon's neck for reassurance and to keep him calm. Balerion was a pretty impatient dragon, already stretching and lightly flapping his wings as he waited for the okay to take off.

Quite the lovely meeting they were having, Aeron and Keira. She almost felt a strong urge to continue their bickering, but what he said was very true: they should find the other riders. While she wasn't very familiar with current politics, she knew the stories and legends. Everybody did; whispered tales of the king's actions towards riders. And the proof was right in front of them; they couldn't go into villages, they needed to sneak around without being seen or risk their lives, and the lives of their dragons. Finding the others, that is, if there were others and they were still alive, was of great importance.
But something made her nervous. Flying? Sure, Scylla had taken to the sky many times. But Keira had only ridden her once, a long time ago. She pretended that it was for safety reasons that they should continue their journey on foot, but Keira was deadly afraid of being in the air. The one time her dragon convinced her happened to be during an especially hot day. They were both annoyed and irritated and just drenched in their sweat; Scylla was flapping her wings over and over again, but it clearly wasn't enough. She didn't want to leave Keira, so flying together had been the most logical solution. They almost both died in the fall. Scylla hadn't been strong enough.
Plus, Scylla still wasn't as big, and her muscles didn't look as developed, as Balerion; Keira wondered if she would be able to carry her now? Glancing at her dragon, she noticed that she was still rock-solid in her stance, her eyes pinned on the dragon and man in front of her. There really was nothing to do when she got like this. Letting her eyes flicker back to Aeron, who was now climbing Balerion, Keira began to get panicky. "Yes, we've flown before. Once actually. It didn't go too well." Almost as if she could understand her (and she probably did), Scylla finally looked away from the pair and stared at Keira, an exasperated challenge in her green eyes. "But I think we'll be fine. Scylla's grown from then, quite a bit, too."
Taking a deep breath and trying to not remember the feeling of falling, Keira walked around Scylla until she reached her back. She climbed on, not as graceful as she would have wanted to, and settled, her legs having to open a bit more to accommodate to Scylla's wide back. She shimmied a bit closer to her dragon's neck, taking strong hold of her scales and attempting to calm her heart. "Alright. I guess we'll just fly low and look for any signs of other dragons? We'll keep together of course, and- AH!" She barely managed a short scream before Scylla snorted and took 3 quick steps forward, unfurling her wings in the process, and brought them down heavily, lifting off into the air as easily as she had not 5 minutes ago. Keira's eyes shut tightly and she was only aware of the huge pushes upwards the dragon's wings were creating, seemingly easily. The newbie rider's mind was blissfully blank during their assension, but once they leveled out and she managed to peel her eyes open, it was suddenly flooded with oh gods I'm going to die gods please save me.

Aeron waited, a bit more patiently than Balerion, for Keira to climb on Scylla. She said they have flown once before. Only once. Obviously some sort of incident happened, most likely Keira falling off. However, it looked like the girl was going to try flying again, maybe because of the determined look in her dragon's eye. Aeron had fallen Balerion before, never on purpose, but they were probably a stronger team because of it. Not just because of the trust in each other, but they both knew how to handle the situation because of the experience.

He leaned forward on Balerion's neck as Keira finally made it on her dragon's back and wiggle into place. He could still tell she was a bit nervous, but better she deal with the fear now rather than when she absolutely needed to. As Keira essentially repeated their plan of action, Aeron nodded, bracing himself for Balerion's take off. He wasn't watching her as her dragon took off, but he didn't need to. He heard not only the sound of beating wings, but a short scream. Rolling his eyes, he gave Balerion a gentle pat and the black beast to to the air as well, with a small growl.

Balerion's competitive nature must have been the reason for the unnecessary aerial acrobatics. Allowing Scylla to take off firstmay have had a factor in it, but Aeron was sure it was mainly the golden dragon's presence. At first, Balerion did a steady climb, but at a certain height, he started a spinning climb, shooting up like a rocket past the golden dragon. He kept climbing a bit higher before he stopped flapping all together and actually tucked his wings in, resulting in a short drop until they were level with Keira and Scylla again, where Balerion snapped his wings open. Luckily Aeron expected as much from his dragon, and was for once prepared for the stunts. "You know, the more you ride, the stronger you'll dragon will get. We've been flying together since the moment he could support my weight."

Keira was certain she was turning purple, she hadn't taken a breath in at least 30 seconds. The forest was flying by, days of walking reduced to a couple seconds of flying. When she got over her fear, Keira was certain the activity would be one of her favorites. Hearing the familiar sound powerful wings, Keira leaned a bit to her right, trying to look but not fall off at the same time. Balerion was reaching them, spinning in the air as he did so. She wondered if Scylla would ever learn how to do that, it looked almost fun. Keira's head snapped upwards as the black dragon passed them, tucked his wings in, and free-fell a couple feet before leveling out next to Keira and Scylla. She couldn't help her grin, that had been pretty impressive.
"I understand. I've just been a bit afraid is all. And actually, I'm really enjoying this." Keira said, even though her arms were basically glued to Scylla's neck. Her dragon was doing just fine, too, and besides a bit of shaking every now and then, all they really had to nail down was a proper sense of balance. "Sorry about that earlier. We haven't really seen other dragons, and if you couldn't tell, Scylla likes to follow her own path." Keira suddenly noticed that even though they were flying at a pretty fast speed, the dragons' wings were almost completely silent. The two riders didn't have to raise their voices that much to speak to each other. "So where exactly do we start looking? As much as I'd like flying for hours, I don't think it'll do much to find others unless they're either flying too or making a scene."

As Belerion leveled out, Aeron relaxed his grip around the black dragon's neck. At least the spinning and free fall were pretty basic stunts for his dragon. Not anything that would cause him to fall off. He looked over at Keira to see how she was holding up, smiling at bit when he saw her grin. If she hadn't told him that she only flew once before, Aeron didn't think he'd believe her. Of course, there really was only one way to ride with no saddle and that was to have a strong grip to your dragon.

"Yeah, it's a wonderful sight up here isn't it? Balerion loves to just fly around doing crazy stunts. It's good exercise and practice for both of us." he said as he patted Balerion. Although he couldn't see the dragon's face, he could guess the black dragon was grinning and feeling snug. The dragon loved getting complimented or even just talked about. "oh and you know it's fine. The only thing that really matters is that we've found each other and we can focus on finding the others."

Aeron was quiet for a moment afterwards, looking at the rapidly moving ground below and listening to both Balerion's and Scylla's wings flapping rhythmically. It was so relaxing to him that he may have started dozing off, but Keira's voice snapped him out of his daze. To be honest, he hadn't really thought about a strategy to find the other riders. How could he? He had no idea where they were. He was lucky to have found one of the others, but how to find the rest?

"Well, to be honest, I'm not sure. I know time is of the essence, but I really gave no idea where they could be. We've all been in hiding. They could be anywhere. Unless you have an idea, flying around may be the only safe option. If we were okay with a bit of risk, Balerion could roar as loud as he could, possibly alerting the other riders that we are nearby, but it could alert...others as well."

Bell's eyes widened as a voice came out of the blue. It was deep, but not at all threatening. More scared and tense than any thing. Her hand slowly slid down the neck so Sirtah. There she tried to calm her down, before saying: "They don't seem to be threatening...relax." her head then snapped up and she took in a deep breath. "Sirath, dive down and out of the cloud." she spoke, straightening her stance. There was a snort before Sirath obeyed. Slowly they descended from the cloud and advanced to the thing.

Her eyes filled with curiosity and victory when she saw the dragon and it's rider. It was the king, but another man. His brown hair curled up, and curled around his ears. It was a nice look for him, suited his strong face well. Bell's eyes lowered down to the face of the dragon. It was a beautiful beast. The wings were unlike her dragons wings, which she thought was very interesting. The dragon himself seemed to have a kind face, with unique features. Sirath studied the two for a moment, before tossing her head lightly.

"You're another rider!" Bell said smiling happily. She had succeeded in part of her mission. There was only two more to go. Two more riders to be found, and this time she knew they existed. Her heart pounded with excitement to find the others. But it is going to be difficult, and she knew it. "I am pleased to find you." she said again which only made Sirath's eyes roll.

.....Darien was surprised that the rider was being so friendly so quickly. He was relieved at the fact, though. Fangol didn't usually get set off easily, but when he did, it was a bit of a challenge to handle him. Once he was determined, it was hard to change his mind. But usually he was passive to most things so it wasn't a huge problem. And he was agitated at the moment.

.....The rider was a girl with blonde hair, a little younger than he. She looked friendly and if she was truly a rider, she hated the king as well. He was pleased that the rumors were true. He had actually found one of the other three riders. He had thought it would take longer than this. The others would be harder to find, since there were only two they were looking for. He hadn't covered much ground, so there were plenty of places the other riders could be.

.....“It is my pleasure to meet you, my lady,” Darien announced, flashing a smile. “I am thrilled that I found another rider so quickly. It hasn't been long since I began my search.” He could feel Fangol relaxing his muscles a bit as he began to trust this rider. “My name is Darien and this noble steed is named Fangol,” Darien stated, patting Fangol’s neck. For this, he was rewarded with an annoyed expression on a turned head. He smirked at his dragon before Fangol looked forward at the other rider’s dragon again.

Roaring didn't really sound like a great idea, especially after weeks of attempting to remain unseen by all. Keira shook her head at that idea, suddenly getting a bit dizzy. Shaking your head and flying at the same time didn't really make for a good time, she decided. "I agree, it is very important. I guess we didn't really think this through before jumping right in." Keira murmured, feeling a bit heavy. Scylla wasn't as shaky as before, and the rider could feel gentle, yet constant, vibrations all over her neck. The dragon was purring, Keira amusingly thought, or doing the beast's equivalent of the action. But no matter how reassuring this was, it wasn't doing anything to help keep her alert. If anything, the vibrations were making her feel heavy, the grip on the dragon's neck slightly loosening.
"But I also don't think flying all the time will prove a better alternative. Perhaps we could fly a while longer, and then go on foot? We don't want to tire the dragons too much, and I am sure they will be able to smell another of their kind just as easy as they could see one." Scylla made a deep noise in the back of her throat, almost like a whine but not as vulnerable or weak. Almost as if she was agreeing with the idea, or approving Keira's assumption. The rider chuckled and patted her dragon's neck where her hands lay, clasped together.

Sirath turned a little so the riders could both see each other better. As she turned, her body relaxed a bit. This was another rider, someone who hated the king, and someone who's mission is to kill him. That she knows, or well, thinks. And this feeling was the same for Bell. He seemed quite friendly, no hostile. His dragon as well seemed friendly, but one can't know everything at first sighting. So she sucked in her chest and looked at the gentle man besides her now. She allowed him to speak for a bit, before quirking up a smile. He was another rider, and a nice one at that it seemed.

"The pleasure is all mine, sir Darien." she smiled and bowed her head lightly. "I am Belegeth, and this is Sirath." her hand slid down the length of the scaly neck. In response to this, Sirath tossed her head lightly so that her hand slipped up. Bell rolled her eyes lightly and turned her gaze back over to Darien. Her head cocked slightly as she looked at him. Her mind began to fill with so many questions to ask him. Where have you been? Do you know where the others are? Do you know how we are supposed to kill this king? Can we land and talk? but the words couldn't form in her mouth, which frustrated her. She let off a grunt before closing her eyes to speak.

"Do you know where the others are?" her voice was strong this time, something she was proud of. Once the words finally came out, she opened her eyes and looked up at him. She held her head high, and proud that she was finally able to speak. "Or are you still looking for them like me?"
