JAMES FRANCO

------------------------------------------------------------

xxxxxxxxxxfranco groaned and found his footing as a few pieces of stray concrete crumbled onto his back. he stood sluggishly and brushed the remaining pieces of drywall onto the littered ground. he stumbled into the living room where he heard talking as he got up and came to a stop and smiled fakely. "hey everyone. how's it going?" he chuckled lightly and grasped the garnet counter for support. james grinned cockly at emma and winked at her playfully. "well this was unexpected." he glanced around at his boarded up house and smirked ever so slightly. james ran a hand through his thick, glossy brown hair and let his eyes follow the tiny dirt remains fall to the ground. "hopefully the water still works because i need a shower." he joked and raised his eyebrows. he glanced around for chloe grace but didn't catch her with his pupils. he sarcastically laughed and grabbed a bottle of almost empty vodka and drained it within seconds. with a clink of the glass bottle as it rolled off the counter and onto the tile floor with a shatter of glass and a ear ringing smack. he smirked lightly and didn't bother sweeping up the glass pieces and just simply left them there.

    CHLOE GRACE MORETZ
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

A tear splattered against the screen of her iPhone, against the image of her mother and brothers from last Christmas. All smiling, all happy. Chloe Grace sniffed. The world was ending. She almost couldn't believe it. The world was ending and she was stuck in this stupid house away from her family. The only up to the entire scenario was that James would keep her laughing. After a moment Taylor came in and grabbed a few sodas, probably not even noticing Chloe Grace sitting on the kitchen counter. Her mother would have scolded her. James would probably be too drunk to notice right now, but it wasn't like he'd do much more than give her a scowl. She nearly laughed at herself, at the photograph of her family in her palm. She almost wanted James to scold her like her mother would, standing there with his arms crossed and an eyebrow raised saying, "Chloe Grace, what on earth do you think you're doing?"

She smiled to herself, looking around the kitchen. She heard James's voice coming from the other room, a glass object shattering. Oh, yeah. The booze would run out soon, though she didn't care, having been drier than a nun all her life. Her eyes locked onto the block of knives. Another tear fell and she laughed softly. It would be a long way to Atlanta from LA. Even longer if she had to walk. She knew her family was smart, definitely capable enough of staying alive. Chances are they would head to the country, not taking the risk of staying in the city. What were her chances of finding them then? Would they think to leave a note, guessing she knew they would survive and stay put? And what was she going to do, just leave James here? She knew her family would make it, but James would most likely stay wasted until the world either ended or stopped ending, killing all of his chances. Unless the others stuck around and kept him alive, which probably wasn't likely. She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. There were too many odds, to many variables to beat. She looked at the screen again, before shutting off the phone to save the battery. Why did the end of the world have to be so complicated?

JAMES FRANCO

------------------------------------------------------------

James found himself wandering into the kitchen and grabbing the broom just because he had OCD which meant everything had to be perfect. Good luck with that. After he was done sweeping up the remaining scraps of glass he dumped them into the trash can at the end of counter. He finally caught sight of Chloe Grace; his best friend. "Why, look who've I've found sitting on my thousand dollar counter. " Franco stumbled clumsily over to her gripping the counter for support. He didn't notice the tears at first and pretended he didn't notice them when he did but, anyone could see lying in his sweet, soft brown eyes. He smiled lightly at her and turned on his heel, slipping on some split water he fell to the ground and landed flat on his face. "Oww." James mumbled into the tile floor and laid his arms down by his sides. "That hurt." He groaned and muttered something barely audible. "Its the end of the world and I slip and fall. Great. " He smirked to himself and rolled over onto his back with and wince of slight pain in his nose; which was bleeding heavily by now and had made a fair sized puddle in front of his face. He made the mistake of trying to wipe the blood off and pulled his hand back to see it was drenched in bright crimson liquid. "Oh, goody." James grinned up at Chloe who was still sitting perfectly on top of his counter, she seemed a bit down and sad. He wondered what about. Obviously that the world was ending but, something more, maybe loved ones or other friends or the fact that she was stuck with him. That made him smile to himself and a distant look appear in his eyes for a split second. He stood and grabbed the paper towels from the rack above the stove and pressed them to his red nose. Then, Franco opened the refrigerator and grabbed two bottles of beer and closed the sliver door with his foot gracefully. Popping the tops off of both with his thumb he offered one to Chloe Grace. "Come on, chlo its the end of the world." He smirked almost daring her to take the bottle.

EMMA
STONE

location: franco's house
feeling: clumsy
doing: understanding events
tagged: jay, james, tayor

ooc: class can be a bore..

━━━━━━━━━━

emmalaughing at jay was fun, even if the world had become some kind of death zone, you cant live right with out laughter. she was glad to see taylor alive aswell, someone else she could put up with in this world, " at least the people in this world arnt going to drive me insane," she said honestly, " not yet anyway," she added with a sly grin. catching the playful wink from franco, she returned a smile to him, one that showed she was glad to still see him standing. clicking her tongue twice, emma decided someone would have to stand up and say something, or silently do something as she didnt feel like making a speech, maybe she could palm it over to james. cutting of her comments towards the pair, emma headed over to a draw that would probably contain a pen and maybe something to write with. she pulled the draw out letting it crash on the ground with carelessness as she recovered the resources she was looking for. tightening her grip around the pen, she confidently stridded into the kitchen almost ignoring chloe and james, as she headed towards a the fridge and started taking stock. unexpectedly she spoke, " try not to eat and drink everything," she said closing the fridge and heading towards the pantry. " maybe you could go calm the people franco, " emma said in a unnoticeable serious tone, " they might tear apart you house," she added flinging open the door of the pantry to reveal minimum food. " dont you know how to shop," emma said rolling her eyes, her mind now set in survival mode as she cracked through her fun layer.

    CHLOE GRACE MORETZ
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Chloe Grace barely smirked at him, at the dare in his eyes. Of course, he knew perfectly well that she wouldn’t, even if it was the end of the world. Wiping the drying tears from her eyes, realizing no doubt that her mascara was beginning to run, she stood and took the paper towels from James, blotting at his nose gently. She listened quietly to Emma’s remarks, nodding slightly as she blotted. "I'll make you a deal, James," she said with a smirk, trying to cover the fear in her eyes, after Emma left. "I let you drink mine, but you promise me it’s the last one. At least until we figure out what we’re going to do. Okay?"

Her mouth twisted slightly as she wiped away the last of the blood, dabbing away at the few drops that had fallen onto his shirt. Her thoughts trailed off and her hands stopped moving, staring at the blood on the paper towel, on his face, at the few smudges on her hands. It wasn’t prop blood. It wasn’t like staring at her hands covered in blood acting for the cameras, knowing it was nothing but a colored liquid. How many more times would she have to see blood before the end of her life now that the world was falling apart around them? She knew only one thing: this was the last time she ever wanted to see James’s blood.

"Emma’s right, though, as much as I hate to admit it," she said quietly, hoping no one else would hear, taking half a step back. "We have no idea how long this is going to last or if it’s going to end. We’re pretty low on supplies, and I’m pretty sure Taylor Launter ate most of the chips we had. If we run out of anything we really need... Those people in there are going to look for a leader because they’re scared and lost. Just make sure you’re the one they pick, 'cause you're the only one I really trust.”

    JOSH HUTCHERSON
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Josh leaned back against the wall, trying to block out the voices of the other people in the living room with him. His laptop sat... well, atop his lap, as he silently read the e-book that demanded his attention. The irony of it all is that the story revolved around circumstances similar to his: being locked up in a place that you can’t get out of while the world is falling apart around you. It was almost poetic. He had to admit, though, like the lead character had once said, that indulging in someone else’s tragedy --- even if it was fictional --- was much better than coming to realize your own reality. Somewhere in the back of his mind, though, he wished this was just some psychotic joke of James Franco’s, even though he knew the chances of that were slim.

He glanced around at the other’s in the room, all acting like nothing as serious as the possible death of anyone and everyone they’d ever known wasn’t looming before them. Maybe acting like it wasn’t happening was the best approach. He couldn’t bring himself to that, though. He had to face his reality. Quietly, he brought up a web browser, hoping desperately, but of course there was no internet connection. No signal that his phone could get either. He took another look around the room, wondering what would become of them all.

JAMES FRANCO

------------------------------------------------------------

The blood started to decrease as she dabbed his crimson nose. He smiled softly at her and raised his left eyebrow at her comment. "Now, I don't know if that's fair to me." James smirked ever so slightly before nodding. "Fine. " He paused and glared playfully at her. "Only because you asked." Franco teased her and nudged her hip with his own. Maybe he thought just maybe she kind of likes me... With that thought it left him thinking about it after she was done talking. The only time he got his mind off the subject was when she made a smart remark about Emma Stone. He guessed she didn't like her, at all. James shrugged to himself and let out a bored sigh. "Be nice." He muttered to her and added a hint of please at the end with a tilt of his head and wink of his soft brown eyes. The house was quite a mess and seemed that everyone left didn't care so he decided to make a announcement about what was going to happen.

"Excuse me everyone!" He paused waiting for everyone to look his way then continued. "I'm guessing that this is what humans are calling the end of the world, am I right? So first things first, I will claim the leader spot simply because this is my house and if you don't like it leave. Second, the lovely lady in charge of the supplies will be Miss Emma Stone." Franco stopped and pointed at Emma who was standing there. "And last of all, we need to all work together to survive. Even you Jay..." He whipped his head around and glared at Jay who seemed to be a bit rattled. "Anyways, the first thing we need to do is clean up the house and find food and water. Once you have found some come put it on the kitchen counter for Emma to sort out. " James clapped his hands together as a sigh for everyone to get going, well if they'd listen to him that is...

    CHLOE GRACE MORETZ
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Chloe Grace didn't blink for what seemed like a century. Was he serious? Putting Emma in charge of what was keeping them alive rather than her? She forced herself to take a long, calming breath, before nodding slightly at his words and leaving the room. She didn't realize she was out in the garage, out in her car, until she saw the locket hanging from her rear-view mirror. She opened it, watching the photograph of her family on one side and a photograph of her and James at her twenty-first birthday party on the other.

She knew what her mother would be saying, “Chloe Grace, get a grip, for Heaven’s sake.” Her brothers would be giving her a disapproving look, picking her up and putting her back on her feet, telling her what she should be doing differently. Looking up from the locket and to the car's roof, a light bulb lit somewhere in the air above her head. She smiled quietly to herself. James wanted her to be nice? Okay, she would be nice. At least, she would act her way through it. That's what she did for a living after all, wasn't it? It was time to put her skill to the test. And it wasn't like she had anything against Emma; she barely knew her for crying out loud. It just bothered her to a great extent that James would entrust this sort of duty to someone else rather than what she viewed as his only true friend. But was that true? Was is really just backwards, him being her only real friend? She gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckles turning white. Time would tell, she guessed. Right then, the only thing she could do was stay alive and prove herself worthy.

She popped the trunk, getting out of the car and slamming the door louder than she intended. Thank God she had been planning to go home the next morning, back to Atlanta for her mother's birthday and a vacation in her own backyard. Crash at James's and leave straight from here. It was funny how quickly and drastically plans could change. She had packed well, she thought, looking through her things. Plenty of extra clothes for the next two weeks that would probably fit most of the girls, if not all. LA girls usually came in only one size. The snacks she had packed for the thirty-two hour drive, not including the hours she would spend crashed out on a motel bed, were plentiful. It was only then that she realized just how much water she packed, always a little extra; after all, she drank almost a gallon a day. She smiled to herself, thankful that she preferred the drive rather than the flight.

She nearly pranced back into the living room. She beamed at Emma, refusing to look at James. "Mind helping me haul all my stuff in from my car?"

"Stay calm.... stay calm"

xxxxx Jay Baruchel sighed rubbing his hands through his hair watching everyone move around. At least they were talking. Jay would fix his problem by going up to someone and talking but he's just too shy. Jay clenched his fist and stood up eager now walking straight towards Chloe. he walked right up to them and listened to her talk for a while and once she noticed him he failed. "Do you know where your restrooms is?" he asked Chloe feeling horribly dumb. "I don't want to wait for them t stop working" Inside Jay was slapping himself and would be once he got away from people. Jay was good with everybody, he was an actor of course. But this was Chloe Grace Moretz. They are way cooler than him. The only way Jay got invited was because his friend, friend of James, was invited and couldn't ditch Jay. Hopefully James and Chloe was as cool and nice as he's seen in their movies. James was a pretty harsh guy in Spiderman that's for sure.

Love is like cliff-diving. You can back away from the edge or let yourself fall.
Taylor left Jay and Emma alone, taking her soda and finding somewhere to sit. Curling up on the cool leather that seemed to decorate all of the furniture, she sipped her Diet Coke. Should she talk to Jay again? She didn't want to be like, a stalker or anything. Maybe she could talk to...whom? Go back to Emma, or find someone new? Josh Hutcherson was nice. Or maybe her best friend, Selena? Taylor looked around for the girl, knowing if anyone could lift her spirits it was Selena.
{Sorry if it's small, would someone please rp with me?}

    JOSH HUTCHERSON
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Josh watched the entire scene in silence. Chloe Grace Moretz was feeling uptight about something, and guessing by the way she stormed out right after James Franco's announcement, Josh guessed she was not one for playing second fiddle. Jay Baruchel was as timid as a mouse, especially around what Josh decided to call the Rulers ---being James, Chloe Grace, and Emma. He had no idea what could be bothering him. He knew Chloe grace was exceptionally kind, having held enough conversations with her to go by first-name basis. But it seemed familiar, like how it was for Josh to be around Donald Sutherland. With just one scene to shoot, Josh was freaking out. He could think of nothing else but reputation that would bother Jay.

Then his eyes settled on Taylor Swift. She was curled up on one of the many couches in the room, quietly drinking a soda. He only knew her a little from the few conversations they'd had. Regardless, he knew he needed somebody to talk to just as much as she did. Worst case scenario, she would call him a freak. Best case scenario, he would gain a friend. And so, Josh closed the laptop, put it back in its case, and sat down next to Taylor. He smiled. "So, it's the end of the world," he said. "Got any resolutions?"
