If Ferro was canine than Bae knowing his name would have raised his hackles, being as he is dragon and pheonix, instead his yellow eyes narrowed n the stranger and his feathers ruffled in irritation, the resounding clinks fro the scale-like feathers rattling through the dry air of the desert. He's ready to leap on the clearly domestic boy when he suddenly tucks his hands behind his back and rocks on his heels, introducing himself and adding in a conspiratorial whisper that he's just here to help. "You want to help? Go back in time and fix the flaw in humanity that made any person ever think it was right to trap living, sentient beings in a game of cat and mouse." Ferro says, his tone and words less childish and happy-go-lucky than Bae. He isn't as quick to make friends, but he does slowly lower himself off the rock and down to Bae's level, looking more like a viper ready to strike than a person in casual conversation.

"That i cannot do my friend" Bae said with a frown, Bae hadn't noticed how irritated and defensive the hybrid was getting, it flew right past him and he had the audacity to put reach a hand out and pat the hybrid softly on the head. "But you see," he began and moved his hand from Ferro's head and to the metal wing, his cold fingers touching the burning hot metal. "I am a dragon as well" he said with a smile and softly pulled on his wing to outstretch it for him to look at. The hot metal didn't hurt him, it felt like he had placed his fingers on a luke warm cup of water, nothing that would blister his fingers or burn him.

Bae was clearly jealous of his wings, but it didn't show on his face instead it was a happy smile and a giggly attitude. he moved his hand from the wing and looked back at him "And i was gifted with the ability to produce water~" he sang happily and moved his hand back behind his back and softly rocked back and forth on his feet.

When Bae starts talking and reaches his hand out in the direction of Ferro's head, the other hybrid immediately tenses, ready to block a strike or launch a counterattack. When instead Bae's hand just settles on his dark curls, almost petting Ferro's head, he just stops altogether in pure confusion. "What the..." Ferro starts to say, jolting when Bae's icy fingers then find their way to his wings, the temperature difference one he can actually feel. He shivers at the strangeness of an icy touch on his wings and immediately pulls them in against his back. Ferro can handle talking and fighting, but he is so completely out of his element as the ever-perky Bae bounces on his feet and mentions he can produce water. Just casually dropping it out there without any pretext, stunning Ferro all the more. "Ummm... that's great, kid. I'm not overheating here or anything. But.... thanks. I think. Ferro says uncertainly, reaching up and running a hand through his hair to get it settled in the place it was before Bae patted his head.

Bae frowned once again and plopped down onto the ground, his legs outstretched before him and his arms crossed over his chest like he was a little kid pouting in a dramatic way. "You're the first person I've come across since I've been released and i can't even help you" he pouted and looked at the ground in front of him. He huffed loudly and stayed there trying to think of some way to help him, he was determined to help him in any way he can.

"You know, water is crucial to survival, and you don't seem to have any of it" he stated and lifted his head up to look at Ferro who was still standing. "Are you sure you don't need any help ?" he asked him with his bottom lip sticking out and puppy dig eyes. "I really wanna help the hybrids out here" he confessed, his voice quiet again. He looked down once again and uncrossed his arms and began to mess with the end of his shirt. "It's the least I can do, i didn't know i was signing up to be the bad guy, and i wanna try to fix that without getting in trouble" he added softly with a sniffle

Blake knew the fight was almost over when Dominique started to claw at him. As quickly as he could, he released his tail from around her arm and instead wrapped it around both ankles, to replace his hands. When his hands were free, he caught her wrists to stop her from scratching him. His grip was firm, but not super tight. He still didn't really want to hurt her. "Are you done now? You are not the only hybrid I'm bringing in." he asked calmly, although there was a decent amount of pain in his chest and it hurt a bit to speak. The sooner he got back to the lab, the sooner he'd get the pain killers he needed. For now though, he didn't try to get the cuffs out. He just tried his best to hold Dominique in place.

Ferro watches as Bae's mood suddenly shifts as he sits down on the ground and starts talking about how he just wants to help, looking up and giving Ferro an expression that has him kneeling down next to Bae, trying to figure out how to comfort Bae. He ends up settling for awkwardly patting his shoulder, shifting his weight uncomfortably before talking, "Don't beat yourself up, buddy, I know there are lots of hybrids out here that are in a more desperate place. And it isn't as if water would hurt me... I tell you what, why don't I help you find some of the other hybrids and along the way you tell me what you know about the dome?" Ferro says without thinking, than pausing for a second and figuring that it would be okay. It's a desert and he knows that some really do need water, plus the chance of learning how to escape. "Your past doesn't dictate who you are, you don't have to be the bad guy." Ferro says, quoting his ma as he puts an arm over Bae's shoulders, having no idea if that's what the situation dictates. But, Bae looked as if he was about to cry and Ferro may be a sucker for puppy dog eyes, so the hybrid attempts at comfort.

Bae looked over at Ferro as he knelt down beside him, patting his back. "Okay" he agreed with a small smile. By telling Ferro about the dome he would still be helping him in a way. Though he didn't know much about the desert and where things were he could try to answer any question he has. And he can always pull up his tracker back in the lab and come find him out here and guide him to where he wants or needs to go.

"I'm the one who brings you guys in for testing, i can't change that" he said quietly and moved his hands from his shirt and onto the ground so he could push himself up off of the ground. one of his hands lightly gripped Ferro's wrist as he stood up and pulled up the other dragon hybrid with him. "So ! Have you come across anybody so far ?" he asked him as he dusted off the dirt from his pants and the bottom of his shirt.

"The hell I'm not," Dominique growled dangerously. She didn't care what happened to her now, no way she was letting anyone else get taken in too. Which, she concluded, meant she had to hurt him bad enough that he had to get back to the lab, fast. She couldn't do much with her legs tied, but she still had one move left. Letting out a fierce growl (more of a high-pitched chitter, courtesy of her roadrunner DNA), Dominique dug her palms into the ground as best she could, then pulled hard on Blake's tail. She wasn't exactly sure what would happen, but hopefully she'd be strong enough to flip him completely over her, maybe even cause some kind of head injury.

"No. I've only been here a week. I have seen evidence of others and could probably track them down." Ferro says as he lets Bae pull him back to his feet, brushing dirt of his pants before shoving his hand in his pockets and looking around, turning and facing in each direction for a few seconds before pointing out past the overhang into more identical desert. "That way is North... and I saw signs of a bunch of people Northeast." Ferro says as he shifts slightly and then takes a step in that direction. "Don't we all have trackers in us or something of the like?"

Bae looked in the direction he pointed to, but he didn't see anything but desert, no figures, nothing. "Well let's head that way" he said with a small nod and moved to ferro's side and began to walk beside him. He looked over at him when they asked if they had trackers in them and he nodded, moving his hand to grab ferro's right arm and turn it over to expose his wrist "Right there" he told him as his he pressed his cold finger against his skin on the spot where the tracker was. It was normally located on the lower part of their wrist towards the inside of the arm.

"I have one too, but mine is here" he said as he tilted his head forward and covered the back of his neck with his hand "I don't know why they put mine there, but that's what happened" he added and moved his hand from his neck and looked back forward again
